What changes when Claude can read your Brevo account
Normally, working out why last month's newsletter underperformed means opening Brevo, exporting stats and comparing subject lines by hand. With the connector, you ask Claude the question and it pulls the numbers itself: open rates, A/B test winners, list sizes. It can then prepare the next campaign as a draft that waits for you in Brevo.
A campaign review in one question. Claude lists your recent email campaigns with email_campaign_management_get_email_campaigns, reads the A/B result with campaign_analytics_get_ab_test_campaign_result, and tells you which subject line won.
Know who you are writing to. Lists, segments and individual contact stats are all readable, so Claude can check whether a given subscriber opened your last three sends before you target them again.
A draft ready for your review. Claude can save an email campaign, an SMS campaign or an HTML template straight into your account with email_campaign_management_create_email_campaign, sms_campaigns_create_sms_campaign or templates_create_smtp_template. You open it in Brevo, adjust it, and send it yourself.
What it will not do: Brevo states that Claude never sends or schedules a campaign and never deletes anything. It creates no contacts and edits no lists either. Nothing runs on its own schedule; Claude acts only while you talk to it. Five words before you connect
The vocabulary around this connector, explained once.
- Connector
- The link you set up once between Claude and an account you already have, so Claude can work in it while it answers you.
- Tool
- One named action the connector gives Claude. Claude chooses which ones to call by itself, and the directory lists them by name.
- Authorization
- Brevo's own sign-in and consent screen, where you grant the access Claude will use. Given once per person, and it can be withdrawn.
- Approval
- The confirmation Claude waits for before doing something that changes your account, shown in the conversation at the right moment.
- MCP
- The open standard connectors are built on: it is what lets an assistant such as Claude talk to an outside service like Brevo.
Connect Brevo to Claude in three steps

Find Brevo in your connectors
Open Claude's settings, click Customize, then Connectors, and search for Brevo. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner must enable it for the organization before members can sign in.

Log in to Brevo
Hit Connect on its row and sign in to Brevo in the window Brevo opens. If the connection breaks later, click Disconnect and connect again. The login itself always happens on Brevo's side, never inside Claude.

Review what Brevo asks
Brevo shows the permissions it is about to grant. Read that screen before you accept: it belongs to Brevo, not to Claude, and it sets what the access covers. You can revoke it later from the same place.

Reads the basic facts of the Brevo account you connected, so Claude knows which company and which setup it is looking at before it answers anything else.
contacts_get_contacts
Returns contacts stored in your Brevo database, so Claude can scan your audience, spot recent sign-ups or check who is in the file at all.
lists_get_lists
Lists every contact list in the account with its basic figures. Claude uses it to find the exact list you mean when you say "the newsletter people".
lists_get_list
Opens a single list and reads its details, useful when Claude needs the precise size or identity of one audience rather than the whole catalogue.
contact_import_export_get_contacts_from_list
Pulls the members of a given list so Claude can look at who is actually inside it, beyond the headcount. Brevo files it under contact lists, which Claude can read but not alter.
segments_get_segments
Reads the segments defined in your account, those saved filters that group contacts by behaviour or attributes. Claude can explain what each one covers.
contacts_get_contact_info
Looks up a single person by email and returns what Brevo knows: attributes, list memberships and so on. Claude answers from that record instead of guessing.

Returns the engagement history of one contact, such as opens and clicks on past campaigns. Claude can tell you when that person last reacted to one of your emails.

Lists your email campaigns with their results so Claude can compare them side by side and point out which subject lines or dates worked best.

This name is on the directory sheet, but Brevo's feature table never mentions it and no Claude page does either. With no official description, this page says nothing about what it covers.
attributes_get_attributes
Same silence for this one: the directory lists the name, and no source describes it. We would rather flag the gap than fill it with an assumption drawn from the wording.
templates_send_test_template
Listed on the directory sheet with no description anywhere. Brevo's statement that Claude never sends campaigns does not name this tool, so no source tells us what it does.
What Claude checks with you first
By default, Claude pauses and asks before each action it takes on an account for someone, inside the conversation.
On Team and Enterprise workspaces, owners decide whether members may let some actions pass without a prompt, and they can narrow a connector for the whole organization, for instance reading allowed, drafting blocked. Nobody lifts that from a personal account. The usual principle is that Claude inherits the rights of the person who connected. Brevo says its connector is an exception for now: access follows the connection key, not each user's Brevo permissions.
Which Claude plans include it
None of the 819 sheets in the official directory shows plan availability. That answer is published nowhere, connector by connector.
The published rule is general: remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile, and desktop extensions install on Claude Desktop. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner opens the connector for the organization before members connect. Brevo's help article adds its own remark about Claude plans; the limits section quotes it next to Anthropic's rule. For the live state, check the connector's sheet in the directory.
Where the Claude Brevo connector stops
A connector is not an automation. Claude calls these tools while it replies, so nothing starts when a contact subscribes or a campaign finishes.
Brevo draws the line clearly: reading is broad, creating is limited to drafts, and sending, scheduling or deleting are off the table. A tool list is still an observed floor rather than a promise, since an administrator can open actions no public sheet shows. The partner badge is not a security audit, and Anthropic says on every sheet that it does not control a publisher's tools.
