0CodeKit Make integrationAutomate 0CodeKit with Make.

Need to check an IBAN, read a scanned PDF or clean an email address in the middle of an automation? The 0CodeKit Make integration gives you 159 modules, 153 actions and 6 searches, that do the utility work between your other apps. This guide shows how to connect your key and build a first scenario.

Verified Trustpilot reviews · AI, automation & growth agency

What you can automate

What can the 0CodeKit Make integration automate?

The 0CodeKit Make integration links your 0CodeKit account to Make, so any scenario (the automation you build in Make, a chain of modules) can call a 0CodeKit tool as one of its steps. A module is one brick of that chain. 0CodeKit adds 159 of them: AI on text and pictures, business data checks, PDF and image work, storage and small utilities.

A cleaner lead list. When a form app hands Make a new contact, Verify an Email and Correct it runs on the address, then Check if Email is a Freemailer tells a personal mailbox from a company one before the contact reaches your CRM.

Invoices you can trust. For a finance team that receives supplier details, Verify IBAN, Verify BIC and Verify VAT ID catch a bad number before a payment is prepared, and Validate Factur-X/Zugferd PDF File checks an e-invoice file.

Scans that turn into text. A scanned contract lands in a storage app: Extract text from given PDF (Advanced OCR) reads it, and Redact Sensitive Information from PDF File produces a copy you can share.

Know the limits before you start. 0CodeKit has no trigger in Make, so it never starts a scenario by itself: another app or the schedule does. The Make documentation lists these modules without describing them, so run each new one with Run once before you rely on it. The Make review covers the editor in depth, and Make pricing explains how operations are counted.

Many apps also have an n8n node. If you hesitate between the two platforms, read n8n vs Make first.

Connect

How do you connect 0CodeKit to Make?

  1. 01

Copy your API key in 0CodeKit

Log in to your 0CodeKit account. Your key sits in the bottom left of the screen, under API Key: hit the copy icon next to it. Keep the key somewhere safe, since anyone who holds it can use your account and Make only asks for it once.

  2. 02

Add a 0CodeKit module in Make

Open your scenario, add any 0CodeKit module and click Create a connection. A connection is your 0CodeKit account linked to Make. The Connection name field is optional, but a clear name helps when you run several accounts.

  3. 03

    Paste the key and save

Paste the key into the API Key field and click Save. If Make asks you to authenticate your account and confirm access, accept. The connection then appears in every 0CodeKit module you add later.

First scenario

Your first scenario with 0CodeKit

GoalWhen a new contact comes out of your form app, Make checks the email with 0CodeKit and flags personal mailboxes.

  1. 01

    Create the scenario

On the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the +. The first module must come from the app that holds your contacts, since 0CodeKit has no trigger of its own.

  2. 02

Pick the app that brings the contact

Search your form or CRM app, choose the module that returns new contacts and create its connection. Each contact it returns becomes a bundle, the item that flows to the next module.

  3. 03

Add Verify an Email and Correct it

Click the + on the right, search 0CodeKit and pick Verify an Email and Correct it. Create the connection with your API key, then map the email from the previous module.

  4. 04

Chain Check if Email is a Freemailer

Add Check if Email is a Freemailer after it and map the email again. Based on its answer, you decide whether the contact goes to sales or to a newsletter list.

  5. 05

    Test with Run once

Click Run once. Make executes the scenario one time and shows the bundles each module received. Read them now: this is where you learn what 0CodeKit actually returns.

  6. 06

    Schedule and switch on

Set the schedule on the first module (every 15 minutes by default, 15 minutes at the shortest on the Free plan) and switch the scenario on. Each module run on a bundle counts as one operation.

Modules

What 0CodeKit can do in Make

0CodeKit gives you 159 modules in 15 groups. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

AI

26 modules

Fuzzy Match: Find Match for Query String from Targets List

0CodeKit1

Get Text entities with NLP AI

ActionIn the docs only

Hand it a block of text and get back the entities it spots, the named things a message mentions. NLP (natural language processing) is the branch of AI that reads text.

When to use it
a support message comes in through another app and you want the names it contains before routing it.
Watch out
the Make doc does not describe the output, so read the bundle after Run once before mapping.
0CodeKit2

Detect the Language in a Text with NLP AI

ActionIn the docs only

Find out which language a text is written in, so the rest of the scenario can take the right branch for each reader instead of treating every message the same way.

When to use it
reviews or tickets arrive in mixed languages and each language has its own team.
Watch out
put it before Translate a Text, not after, or you pay an operation for nothing.
0CodeKit3

Get the Mood of a Text NLP AI

ActionIn the docs only

Get a read on the tone of a text, so an angry message can jump the queue while a friendly one follows the usual path. Useful wherever people write to you freely.

When to use it
survey answers or support replies land in a sheet and someone must see the unhappy ones first.
Watch out
check a few results with Run once before you let the mood decide anything alone.
0CodeKit4

Get the Context of a Picture with AI

ActionIn the docs only

Send a picture and receive a description of what the scene is about, which gives you words you can store, search or reuse next to the file.

When to use it
product photos pile up in a folder and you want a first caption for each one before a person edits it.
Watch out
on the Free plan Make handles files up to 5 MB, so large photos may need resizing first.
0CodeKit5

Detect Text in a Picture with OCR AI

ActionIn the docs only

Turn the words printed in a photo into text a scenario can read. OCR (optical character recognition) is the technique that reads letters in an image.

When to use it
a phone photo of a receipt or a label arrives and you want its text in a row, not in a picture.
Watch out
for a PDF, look at PDF OCR or the Advanced OCR module instead of this one.
0CodeKit6

Translate a Text

ActionIn the docs only

Get a text back in another language, directly inside the scenario, so a message written by a customer abroad reaches your team in a language it reads.

When to use it
after Detect the Language in a Text with NLP AI has flagged a message that is not in your team's language.
Watch out
the doc does not list the supported languages; test yours with Run once before switching the scenario on.
0CodeKit7

Picture Object Recognition

ActionIn the docs only

Find out which objects appear in a picture, a practical way to tag images by what they show rather than by their file name.

When to use it
photos uploaded by field teams need sorting, and you want to know what is in each shot before filing it.
Watch out
where Get the Context of a Picture with AI describes a scene, this one names things; pick the one that fits the next step.
0CodeKit8

Transcribe Audio File

ActionIn the docs only

Turn a recording into written text that the next module can store, summarize or send, so a voice message stops being a file nobody opens.

When to use it
voicemails or meeting recordings land in a storage app and the team would rather read them.
Watch out
an Input Buffer variant exists; if your file comes as raw data from the previous module, compare both with Run once.
0CodeKit9

Generate an Image

ActionIn the docs only

Create a picture from AI inside the scenario, which saves a trip to a separate tool when a visual must go with a post or a record.

When to use it
a new blog draft appears in your content app and you want a first illustration attached to it for review.
Watch out
keep a human check before anything generated goes public, then pass the image to a storage module.
0CodeKit10

Generate JavaScript Code

ActionIn the docs only

Ask AI for a piece of JavaScript and receive the code as text in the bundle, ready to read, store or pass to a code module.

When to use it
a request describing a small script lands in your ticket tool and a developer wants a first draft beside it.
Watch out
generated code is a draft. Review it before you run it with Run JavaScript JS-Code or anywhere else.
0CodeKit11

Generate Python Code

ActionIn the docs only

This is the Python twin of the JavaScript generator: you describe what the script should do and get Python code back as text.

When to use it
your team's scripts are in Python and a new request needs a starting point attached to the ticket.
Watch out
treat the output as a proposal, never as code to run blind in the next module.
0CodeKit12

Rephrase Too Long to Read Text

ActionIn the docs only

Get a shorter version of a long text, so a busy reader sees the point without opening the full message, report or thread.

When to use it
long customer emails get pushed to a chat channel and the channel only needs the gist.
Watch out
keep a link to the original next to the short version, because a summary can drop a detail that matters.
0CodeKit13

Extract Contact Information

ActionIn the docs only

Pull the contact details out of free text, so an email signature or a pasted business card becomes something your CRM module can take.

When to use it
inbound emails carry names and phone numbers in the signature and nobody wants to copy them by hand.
Watch out
run Validate Phone Number or Verify an Email and Correct it after it before anything reaches your CRM.
0CodeKit14

Check Content Policy

ActionIn the docs only

Screen a text against a content policy before it goes further, a safety net for anything written by users or generated by AI.

When to use it
comments or form answers get published automatically and you want a filter before they appear.
Watch out
the doc does not say which policy applies, so test it on real samples and add a Make filter on its result.
0CodeKit15

Remove Background From Image

ActionIn the docs only

Get a cut-out version of a picture with the background gone, the kind of image a product sheet or a catalog expects.

When to use it
a new product photo reaches your shop app and it needs a clean version before listing.
Watch out
the Input Buffer variant takes the file differently; pick the one that matches what the previous module hands over.
0CodeKit16

Detect Email Type and Category

ActionIn the docs only

Sort an email by type and category without reading it yourself, which lets the scenario send each message to the right place.

When to use it
a shared inbox receives invoices, complaints and sales requests mixed together and each kind has an owner.
Watch out
read the categories it returns after Run once, then build your Make filters on those exact values.
0CodeKit17

PDF OCR

ActionIn the docs only

Make a scanned PDF readable: the text trapped in the image of each page comes back as text a scenario can search or store.

When to use it
signed paper forms are scanned to a folder and the data inside must end up in a sheet.
Watch out
an Advanced OCR module also exists; try both on a hard scan and keep the one whose result you prefer.
0CodeKit18

Check Adult Content

ActionIn the docs only

Screen an image for adult content before it lands anywhere public, so an upload never reaches your site or community unchecked.

When to use it
users can send pictures through a form, and those pictures feed a gallery or a profile page.
Watch out
route doubtful results to a person with a Make filter rather than deleting files on the spot.
0CodeKit19

Detect Brand

ActionIn the docs only

Spot brands in a picture, a quick way to know whose logo or product shows up in a batch of images.

When to use it
a marketing team collects photos from events and wants to know which ones show a partner brand.
Watch out
the doc lists no description or accuracy data, so check a handful of known photos with Run once before trusting the tags.
0CodeKit20

Detect Color

ActionIn the docs only

Learn which colors a picture contains, useful when color is a product attribute or a design rule rather than a detail.

When to use it
new product shots arrive and the color field of each listing should be filled from the image.
Watch out
map the value it returns into a clear field, and read its format after Run once before writing it anywhere.
0CodeKit21

Detect Face

ActionIn the docs only

Know whether a picture shows faces, a simple gate for photos that must, or must not, include people.

When to use it
profile pictures come in through a sign-up form and a missing face should trigger a polite follow-up.
Watch out
faces are personal data in many countries, so check your own rules before storing any result.
0CodeKit22

Input Buffer Remove Background From Image

ActionIn the docs only

Same promise as Remove Background From Image, a cut-out picture, but in its Input Buffer version, named for a different way of receiving the file.

When to use it
the previous module hands over the image file itself, for example a download from a storage app.
Watch out
the doc does not explain the difference; if one variant fails with your input, try the other.
0CodeKit23

Input Buffer Transcribe Audio File

ActionIn the docs only

This variant of Transcribe Audio File also returns the words of a recording as text, through its Input Buffer way of taking the file.

When to use it
the recording arrives as file data from the module before, say a voicemail pulled from a storage app.
Watch out
audio files grow fast, and the Free plan caps files at 5 MB in Make.
0CodeKit24

Extract text from given PDF (Advanced OCR)

ActionIn the docs only

Get the text of a PDF with the advanced reading option, the one to reach for when a scan is crooked, faint or dense.

When to use it
PDF OCR leaves gaps on your supplier invoices and you need the full text for the next step.
Watch out
compare its result with PDF OCR on the same file before you pick one for the live scenario.
0CodeKit25

Redact Sensitive Information from PDF File

ActionIn the docs only

Produce a PDF with its sensitive information blacked out, so a document can travel to a partner or an archive without exposing what should stay private.

When to use it
contracts or HR files must be shared outside the team once signed.
Watch out
open the first redacted files yourself; the doc does not say what counts as sensitive.
0CodeKit26

Extract Custom Fields From a Text

ActionIn the docs only

Pull the specific pieces you define out of a text, where Extract Contact Information only looks for contact details.

When to use it
order emails from a supplier always mention a reference and a delivery date, and those two values belong in a sheet.
Watch out
name your fields the way they appear in the text, then check each value after Run once.

Business

11 modules
0CodeKit27

Verify BIC

ActionIn the docs only

Check a BIC, the bank identifier code used in international transfers, before a wrong one ends up in your payment file.

When to use it
a new supplier fills in bank details on a form and accounting needs them checked before the first payment.
Watch out
run Verify IBAN in the same scenario, since a valid BIC says nothing about the account number.
0CodeKit28

Verify Domain

ActionIn the docs only

Check a domain name before you trust it, a quick test on the part of an email or website address after the dot.

When to use it
sign-ups list a company website and you want to drop entries whose domain looks wrong before sales calls them.
Watch out
read what it returns after Run once, then filter on that value instead of guessing.
0CodeKit29

Verify an Email and Correct it

ActionIn the docs only

Check an email address and get a corrected version when it can be fixed, which keeps typos out of your mailing list and your CRM.

When to use it
right after a form or a sign-up app hands Make a new contact, before anything is saved.
Watch out
map the corrected address, not the original one, into the module that stores the contact.
0CodeKit30

Verify IBAN

ActionIn the docs only

Check an IBAN, the international bank account number, so a mistyped account never reaches a payment run.

When to use it
employees or suppliers send bank details through a form and finance wants a first check done automatically.
Watch out
a valid format does not prove the account belongs to that person; keep your usual approval step.
0CodeKit31

Verify VAT ID

ActionIn the docs only

Check a VAT number supplied by a customer or supplier, useful before an invoice is issued with the wrong one.

When to use it
a new business account is created in your billing tool and its VAT ID should be confirmed first.
Watch out
store the result next to the customer record so nobody runs the same check twice.
0CodeKit32

Check VAT of EU Country

ActionIn the docs only

Get the VAT information for a European Union country inside the scenario, instead of keeping a table by hand.

When to use it
an order comes from another EU country and your invoice module needs the matching rate.
Watch out
where Verify VAT ID checks a company number, this one works at country level; do not swap them.
0CodeKit33

Check if Email is a Freemailer

ActionIn the docs only

Tell whether an address comes from a free mailbox provider or from a company domain, a simple signal for lead scoring.

When to use it
B2B leads arrive from a form and sales only wants the ones with a business address.
Watch out
some real buyers use personal mailboxes, so tag them rather than throwing them away.
0CodeKit34

Validate Geolocation

ActionIn the docs only

Check a geolocation before you rely on it, so a bad coordinate or address does not send a driver or a report the wrong way.

When to use it
field staff submit locations from a mobile form and dispatch uses them to plan visits.
Watch out
read the output after Run once; the doc does not describe what it accepts as input.
0CodeKit35

Embed Factur-X/Zugferd XML Into a PDF File

ActionIn the docs only

Combine an invoice PDF with its Factur-X or ZUGFeRD XML, two electronic invoice formats, into a single file.

When to use it
your billing tool exports the PDF and the XML separately and customers expect one e-invoice.
Watch out
pass the result to Validate Factur-X/Zugferd PDF File before sending it.
0CodeKit36

Validate Factur-X/Zugferd PDF File

ActionIn the docs only

Check a Factur-X or ZUGFeRD e-invoice file and know whether it holds up, before it leaves or before you book it.

When to use it
supplier e-invoices land in a mailbox and accounting only wants valid ones in the queue.
Watch out
send failures to a person with a Make filter; an invalid file still needs a reply to the supplier.
0CodeKit37

Validate Phone Number

ActionIn the docs only

Check a phone number before it goes into your CRM or your SMS tool, so calls and texts reach real people.

When to use it
leads type their number freely in a form and your call team keeps hitting dead lines.
Watch out
numbers typed without a country code can be read wrongly; test a few local formats with Run once.

Calculate

3 modules
0CodeKit38

Calculate BMI Values

ActionIn the docs only

Compute a body mass index from the values a person gives, without a formula column in a spreadsheet.

When to use it
a coaching or wellness intake form collects height and weight and the coach wants the result in the client file.
Watch out
health data is sensitive; store the result only where your privacy rules allow it.
0CodeKit39

Calculate the Distance between Addresses (old)

ActionIn the docs only

Get the distance between two addresses. Make lists this module with the label old, a sign that a newer option sits next to it.

When to use it
an existing scenario already relies on it and you only need to keep that scenario running.
Watch out
for a new build, try Calculate Trip Between Two Locations first.
0CodeKit40

Calculate Trip Between Two Locations

ActionIn the docs only

Work out the trip between two places inside the scenario, which gives travel figures you can put on a quote or a schedule.

When to use it
a service request comes in with a client address and your quote depends on the trip from your base.
Watch out
read the units it returns after Run once before you use them in a price.

Code

6 modules
0CodeKit41

Run JavaScript JS-Code

ActionIn the docs only

You get a small JavaScript step right inside your scenario: paste a snippet, feed it values mapped from earlier modules, and pass what it returns to the next brick.

When to use it
a text needs a tweak that no built-in Make tool covers and the snippet fits in a few lines.
Watch out
Make's doc lists this module without its fields, so check the returned bundle with Run once before mapping it further.
0CodeKit42

Run Python Code

ActionIn the docs only

Same idea as the JavaScript runner, in Python: the script you type executes when the scenario reaches this module, and its output travels on as one bundle.

When to use it
your team already writes Python and wants to keep a cleanup rule in that language.
Watch out
each run counts as one operation on your Make plan, like any other module.
0CodeKit43

Run Asynchronous Python Code (Advanced)

ActionIn the docs only

As its name says, it starts a Python job asynchronously on 0CodeKit: this module launches the task, and a second module, Check Async Python Code Task Status, reads the outcome.

When to use it
the script is heavy and a Free plan run is capped at 5 minutes of execution.
Watch out
it only makes sense paired with Check Async Python Code Task Status; alone, you never read the result.
0CodeKit44

Check Async Python Code Task Status

ActionIn the docs only

This is the second half of the asynchronous pair: it asks 0CodeKit where a Python task started earlier stands, so your scenario can pick up the result once it is there.

When to use it
after Run Asynchronous Python Code (Advanced), in the same scenario or in a later one.
Watch out
map the task reference from the first module exactly; the doc gives no detail on the status values, so read them in a Run once test.
0CodeKit45

Run JS Scripts hosted on 0CodeKit

ActionIn the docs only

Calls a JavaScript script you keep in your 0CodeKit account instead of pasting code into Make. Several scenarios can then share one script, and you fix it in a single place.

When to use it
the same logic runs in many scenarios and you are tired of copying it.
Watch out
the script lives outside Make, so an edit on the 0CodeKit side changes every scenario that calls it.
0CodeKit46

Run Python Scripts hosted on 0CodeKit

ActionIn the docs only

Triggers a Python script stored on 0CodeKit and brings its answer back into the scenario. The code stays versioned on one side, the automation on the other.

When to use it
a developer maintains the script and the ops person only wires it into Make.
Watch out
pick this over Run Python Code when the script is shared; for a one-off line, the inline runner is simpler to read.

Convert

6 modules
0CodeKit47

Convert a CSV to JSON

ActionIn the docs only

Turns CSV text into JSON, the structured format most Make modules and APIs read easily, so the next steps can map each column by name.

When to use it
an export arrives as CSV and a later module, or Make an API Call, expects JSON.
Watch out
for a file with many rows, look at Convert CSV File for multiple ROW too, and compare both outputs with Run once.
0CodeKit48

Conver Currencies

ActionIn the docs only

Converts an amount from one currency into another inside the flow, so a price or an invoice total lands in the currency your sheet or CRM uses.

When to use it
orders come in from several countries and your reporting needs a single currency.
Watch out
the name really is spelled Conver in Make, so search for that; the doc says nothing on the rate source, so check a result by hand first.
0CodeKit49

Get the GeoLocation of an IP address

ActionIn the docs only

Gives you the location tied to an IP address, which adds a country or city to a lead or a sign-up that only came with technical data.

When to use it
a form or a log hands you the visitor's IP and your sales team wants to route by region.
Watch out
an IP points to a network, not to a person; treat the answer as a hint and read the returned fields in a test run.
0CodeKit50

Get the Nation by Country Code ISO

ActionIn the docs only

Translates an ISO country code into the nation it stands for, so a record shows a readable country name instead of a code.

When to use it
a payment tool or a shop exports codes and your team reads country names.
Watch out
feed it a clean code; map the field straight from the source module rather than retyping it, to avoid spaces or lowercase surprises.
0CodeKit51

MSG to JSON

ActionIn the docs only

Opens an MSG email file and hands its content to Make as JSON, so the sender, subject or body can be mapped like any other data.

When to use it
saved emails pile up in a shared folder and someone copies their details by hand.
Watch out
the doc does not list which parts of the message come out; run it once on a real file and look at the bundle.
0CodeKit52

Convert CSV File for multiple ROW

ActionIn the docs only

Built for CSV files with many lines: it reads the file and returns the rows so the scenario can handle each one on its own.

When to use it
a supplier sends a full product list as a file and every line must reach your catalog.
Watch out
if the rows come out as separate bundles, every later module runs once per row, and each run is one operation on your plan.

Crypto

3 modules
0CodeKit53

Decrypt a Ciphertext

ActionIn the docs only

Reads back a message that was encrypted earlier, provided you give it the right key, and returns the plain text to the scenario.

When to use it
a partner stores or sends a secret value encrypted, and one step of your flow needs it in clear.
Watch out
keep the key out of visible text fields where possible; anyone who can open the scenario can read what you typed there.
0CodeKit54

Encrypt a message

ActionIn the docs only

Locks a piece of text with a key before it leaves the scenario, so only someone holding that key can read it later with Decrypt a Ciphertext.

When to use it
a token or a personal detail has to sit in a sheet or a note that more people can open.
Watch out
lose the key and the text is gone for good; store it somewhere safer than the scenario itself.
0CodeKit55

Hash a Text

ActionIn the docs only

Produces a fixed fingerprint of a text. Same input, same hash, and nobody can rebuild the original from it, unlike encryption.

When to use it
you need to compare or deduplicate emails without keeping them readable in a log.
Watch out
a hash is one way; if a later step needs the real value, choose Encrypt a message instead.

Date and Time

6 modules
0CodeKit56

Get a Calendar Week

ActionIn the docs only

Returns the calendar week a date falls in, handy when your planning, stock or payroll is organised by week number rather than by day.

When to use it
a new order should land in the tab or folder of its week.
Watch out
week numbering rules differ between countries; compare the result with your own calendar on a date near New Year.
0CodeKit57

Check if a Day is Weekend or Working Day

ActionIn the docs only

Tells the scenario whether a given date is a working day or falls on the weekend, so the next step can wait, skip or take another route.

When to use it
a reminder or a delivery promise should never point to a Saturday.
Watch out
add a condition on the next module to act on the answer; the module only reports, it does not stop anything.
0CodeKit58

Convert Timezones

ActionIn the docs only

Shifts a date and time from one timezone to another, which avoids meetings or deadlines showing up hours off for a colleague abroad.

When to use it
a booking tool stores times in one zone and your team works in another.
Watch out
check which zone the source date is in before mapping it; a wrong starting zone shifts every result.
0CodeKit59

List Holidays

SearchIn the docs only

A search module: it returns the public holidays it knows, as zero, one or several bundles, which a scenario can compare with a date before acting.

When to use it
a follow-up email or a shipment date must avoid bank holidays.
Watch out
several bundles means the next modules run once per holiday; add an aggregator (it groups bundles back into one) if you only want a single answer.
0CodeKit60

Get Current Month

ActionIn the docs only

Gives back the month at the moment the scenario runs, ready to name a file, a sheet tab or a folder without writing a date formula.

When to use it
exported reports should be sorted into one folder per month.
Watch out
the value depends on when the run happens, so a Run once test late on the last day may surprise you.
0CodeKit61

Get Date Detailed Period

ActionIn the docs only

Breaks a date down into the periods it belongs to, so one step feeds several reporting fields at once instead of stacking formulas.

When to use it
finance wants each invoice tagged by period in the spreadsheet.
Watch out
the doc does not list which periods come back; read the bundle in a test before mapping anything.

Generate

20 modules
0CodeKit62

Get a Random City Week

ActionIn the docs only

Serves a random value built around a city, useful to fill a demo or a test base with something that looks real rather than blank cells.

When to use it
you build a scenario and need sample data before live records arrive.
Watch out
the doc gives only the module name, so check what it returns with Run once and keep it away from production data.
0CodeKit63

Generate a Random Name

ActionIn the docs only

Creates a made-up name on demand, a quick way to populate fake contacts while you test a CRM flow without touching real people.

When to use it
the sales team wants to try a new onboarding scenario safely.
Watch out
tag these test records clearly so nobody emails them once the scenario goes live.
0CodeKit64

Generate a Random Number

ActionIn the docs only

Draws a number at random at each run, which lets a scenario split traffic, pick a winner or assign a reference.

When to use it
a contest picks one entry out of the ones received, or you test an A/B split.
Watch out
random is not unique; for an ID that must never repeat, check it against your records.
0CodeKit65

Encode a QR Code

ActionIn the docs only

Turns a link or a text into a QR code image that later modules can attach to an email, a ticket or a PDF.

When to use it
every event registration should come with its own scannable pass.
Watch out
scan the first result with a phone during the Run once test before sending it to anyone.
0CodeKit66

Decode a QR Code

ActionIn the docs only

Reads a QR code image and gives back the text or link hidden inside, so a photo from the field becomes data your scenario can use.

When to use it
staff upload pictures of scanned labels and you want the code in a sheet.
Watch out
a blurry or cropped image may return nothing; plan what the next step does with an empty value.
0CodeKit67

List Shortened URLs

SearchIn the docs only

Pulls the short links already made through 0CodeKit, returned as bundles, so you can review, export or clean them up from Make.

When to use it
marketing wants its campaign links copied into a tracking sheet.
Watch out
as a search, it may return many bundles; each one runs the next modules and counts operations.
0CodeKit68

Create a tinyurl and Shortened URL

ActionIn the docs only

Makes a short link out of a long address, ready to drop into an SMS, a social post or a printed flyer.

When to use it
a product page goes live and its link must fit a text message.
Watch out
save the returned short link and its reference; you need them later to update or delete it.
0CodeKit69

Delete a Shortened URL

ActionIn the docs only

Removes a short link you no longer want to serve, so an ended offer stops pointing anywhere.

When to use it
a campaign closes in your CRM and its links should disappear with it.
Watch out
anyone who still clicks a printed or shared copy lands on a dead link; Update a Shortened URL keeps it alive with a new target.
0CodeKit70

Update a Shortened URL

ActionIn the docs only

Points an existing short link at a new destination, so posters and posts already out there keep working.

When to use it
a landing page moves and the short link printed on flyers must follow.
Watch out
map the right link reference, often taken from List Shortened URLs, or you redirect the wrong one.
0CodeKit71

Generate a Random String

ActionIn the docs only

Outputs a random run of characters, a quick source for voucher codes, temporary passwords or test references.

When to use it
each new customer receives a personal discount code by email.
Watch out
nothing in the doc says the string is unique; store the codes and check for duplicates if that matters.
0CodeKit72

Generate a Barcode

ActionIn the docs only

Draws a barcode image from a value, ready to print on a label, a delivery slip or a product sheet built later in the flow.

When to use it
a warehouse needs a label for each new item added to the stock list.
Watch out
test the printed code with your own scanner before running it on a whole catalog.
0CodeKit73

Read a Barcode

ActionIn the docs only

Works the other way: from a picture of a barcode, it pulls out the value, so a photo can update a record without typing.

When to use it
a driver snaps a parcel label and the tracking sheet should fill itself.
Watch out
lighting and angle matter; route empty answers to a manual check rather than dropping them.
0CodeKit74

Encode JWT Token

ActionIn the docs only

Builds a signed JWT, the compact token many APIs expect to prove who is calling, from the data and secret you provide.

When to use it
a service your scenario talks to only accepts JWT authentication.
Watch out
the secret you type sits inside the scenario; limit who can edit it.
0CodeKit75

Decode and validate JWT Token

ActionIn the docs only

Opens an incoming JWT, checks it against your secret and shows its content, so the scenario can trust, or reject, a request.

When to use it
another app sends a token and you only act when it is genuine.
Watch out
make sure the next step acts only on a valid result; a failed check should not slip through.
0CodeKit76

Generate Bar Chart

ActionIn the docs only

Draws a bar chart from values mapped in the scenario and returns it as an image to attach to a report or a message.

When to use it
a sales recap emailed to the team reads better with bars than with raw figures.
Watch out
the doc lists no field, so check how labels and values must be passed with a Run once test.
0CodeKit77

Generate Doughnut Chart

ActionIn the docs only

Turns shares of a whole into a doughnut image, the right picture when each slice is a part of one total.

When to use it
a support report shows tickets split by channel.
Watch out
with many tiny slices it becomes hard to read; a bar chart is clearer past a handful of categories.
0CodeKit78

Generate Line Chart

ActionIn the docs only

Plots values along a line, the chart that shows a trend over successive points rather than a snapshot.

When to use it
an email digest tracks sign-ups from one report to the next.
Watch out
gather the points first with a Make aggregator; one run of the module draws one image from one bundle.
0CodeKit79

Get Random Color

ActionIn the docs only

Picks a color at random and hands it to the scenario, a small trick to vary visuals or tag records without doing it by hand.

When to use it
each new project card or chart series needs a distinct shade.
Watch out
random colors can clash or lack contrast; keep it for internal visuals, not brand material.
0CodeKit80

Generate User Data

ActionIn the docs only

Produces a fake user profile in one step, enough to feed a sign-up flow, a CRM import or a demo without exposing real customers.

When to use it
you rehearse a whole onboarding scenario before launch.
Watch out
read the returned fields with Run once, then delete the test records before switching the scenario on.
0CodeKit81

Scrape HTML From Website

ActionIn the docs only

Fetches the raw HTML of a web page and hands it to the next module as text, so a scenario can read a page without anyone opening a browser.

When to use it
a competitor's pricing page or a supplier catalogue has to be parsed by a text or AI module further down the chain.
Watch out
you get markup, not clean content, so plan a module that extracts the part you need.

PDF

23 modules
0CodeKit82

Get the PDF Page Count

ActionIn the docs only

Returns how many pages a PDF holds, a single number you can test in a filter before doing anything heavier with the file.

When to use it
contracts over a certain length should go to a legal reviewer while short ones follow the usual route.
Watch out
the module counts pages only; pair it with Get PDF Metadata Information if you also need the title or author.
0CodeKit83

Create a PDF from HTML or URL

ActionIn the docs only

Turns an HTML template or a live web address into a PDF file, ready to attach to an email or drop in a storage folder.

When to use it
quotes or receipts are built as HTML with mapped values from a CRM, and the customer expects a PDF.
Watch out
on Make's Free plan files are capped at 5 MB, so image-heavy pages can hit that ceiling.
0CodeKit84

Docx to PDF

ActionIn the docs only

Converts a Word document into a PDF, which is what most clients and e-signature tools prefer to receive.

When to use it
a team drafts proposals in Word on a shared drive and the final version must go out locked as a PDF.
Watch out
the module needs the file itself, so place a download module from your storage app before it and map its output.
0CodeKit85

Merge multiple PDFs

ActionIn the docs only

Stitches several PDFs into one document, handy when a file set has to travel as a single attachment.

When to use it
an onboarding pack combines a signed contract, an ID scan and a welcome guide into one file for the HR folder.
Watch out
each file usually arrives as a separate bundle, so an aggregator is often needed to gather them first.
0CodeKit86

Split a PDF File

ActionIn the docs only

Cuts one PDF into smaller files, the reverse of merging, so each part can be filed or sent on its own.

When to use it
a scanner produces one long PDF of many invoices and accounting wants them as separate documents.
Watch out
the split pieces may come out as several bundles, and every module after that point runs once per piece, which counts operations on your Make plan.
0CodeKit87

Compress a PDF

ActionIn the docs only

Shrinks the weight of a PDF so it passes through mail servers, upload forms and plan limits more easily.

When to use it
scanned delivery notes are too heavy for the portal your accountant uses.
Watch out
compression is worth placing early, before any step that moves the file, since the Free plan of Make accepts files of 5 MB at most.
0CodeKit88

Convert PDF to Base64

ActionIn the docs only

Turns a PDF into one long text string, the encoding the module is named after. That is the shape many services expect when a file has to travel inside a request rather than as an attachment.

When to use it
you post a PDF to a service through Make an API Call or an HTTP module that only accepts text.
Watch out
the string is much longer than the file name suggests, so avoid logging it in a spreadsheet cell.
0CodeKit89

Convert PDF to Image

ActionIn the docs only

Renders PDF pages as pictures, which lets you show a preview where a PDF viewer is not available.

When to use it
a product sheet needs a thumbnail for a website card or a chat message.
Watch out
a multi-page file may yield several images; check what the module returns with Run once.
0CodeKit90

Markdown String to PDF

ActionIn the docs only

Takes text written in Markdown and lays it out as a formatted PDF, headings and lists included.

When to use it
an AI module drafts a meeting summary in Markdown and you want a clean document to archive.
Watch out
it expects a text string, not a file, so map the text output of the previous module rather than a download.
0CodeKit91

Get PDF Metadata Information

ActionIn the docs only

Reads the properties stored inside a PDF, such as the details set by the tool that produced it, and exposes them for mapping.

When to use it
incoming files should be sorted by the information they carry before a human opens them.
Watch out
a separate Advanced version exists in this group; start here and switch only if the basic output misses what you need.
0CodeKit92

Draw Text

ActionIn the docs only

Writes a line of text onto an existing PDF, for example a reference number or a date stamped on the first page.

When to use it
every approved purchase order must carry its approval code before it goes to the supplier.
Watch out
unlike a watermark, this is a single placed text, so test the position with Run once before switching the scenario on.
0CodeKit93

Draw Image

ActionIn the docs only

Places a picture onto a PDF page, the natural way to add a logo, a stamp or a scanned signature to a generated document.

When to use it
certificates built from a template need the trainer's signature image added at the bottom.
Watch out
the picture has to reach the module as data from an earlier step, so fetch it from storage first.
0CodeKit94

Watermark an Image into PDF File

ActionIn the docs only

Lays an image across the pages of a PDF as a watermark, so every page carries your mark.

When to use it
draft brochures shared with a partner should show a faded logo that makes their status obvious.
Watch out
pick Draw Image instead when the picture belongs on one spot of one page only.
0CodeKit95

Watermark a Text into PDF File

ActionIn the docs only

Prints a text watermark such as CONFIDENTIAL or a client name on a PDF, which discourages copies from circulating unnoticed.

When to use it
each prospect receives the same deck, marked with their own company name mapped from the CRM.
Watch out
a watermark marks the file but does not protect it; add Encrypt PDF when access itself must be restricted.
0CodeKit96

Resize Pages

ActionIn the docs only

Changes the page size of a PDF so documents from different sources print and display the same way.

When to use it
supplier files arrive in mixed formats and your archive or print shop wants one size.
Watch out
run a test file through Run once and open the result, because content can shift when the page frame changes.
0CodeKit97

Pemove Pages

ActionIn the docs only

Deletes chosen pages from a PDF, despite the typo in its name, which is spelled this way in Make's module list.

When to use it
a generated report always ends with a blank or internal page that clients should never see.
Watch out
searching for Remove in the editor will not find it; type Pemove or browse the PDF group.
0CodeKit98

Rotate Pages

ActionIn the docs only

Turns pages of a PDF so sideways scans become readable without reopening them by hand.

When to use it
a phone scanner app sends receipts in landscape and your bookkeeping tool displays them on their side.
Watch out
it rotates the page, not the image inside it; for a picture file use Rotate an Image instead.
0CodeKit99

Add Pages

ActionIn the docs only

Inserts pages into an existing PDF, a light way to extend a document without rebuilding it.

When to use it
every quote must end with your standard terms, kept as a separate file and appended automatically.
Watch out
to join whole documents end to end, Merge multiple PDFs is the clearer choice.
0CodeKit100

Edit Metadata

ActionIn the docs only

Rewrites the hidden properties of a PDF, so the file shows the right title and author when it lands in a document system.

When to use it
files exported by an old tool carry its default name and your document library searches on the title.
Watch out
read the current values first with Get PDF Metadata Information to know what you are replacing.
0CodeKit101

Advanced Get PDF Metadata Information

ActionIn the docs only

Reads PDF properties like its basic sibling, under an Advanced label that Make's doc does not explain further, so treat it as the second option.

When to use it
you audit incoming PDFs and the standard output left out properties your process relies on.
Watch out
Make's doc lists no difference in output between the two, so compare them with Run once on the same file.
0CodeKit102

Encrypt PDF

ActionIn the docs only

Locks a PDF behind a password so only people who have it can open the file.

When to use it
payslips or medical forms are emailed and must stay unreadable if the message is forwarded by mistake.
Watch out
send the password through a different channel than the file, otherwise the lock protects nothing.
0CodeKit103

Decrypt PDF

ActionIn the docs only

Removes the password from a protected PDF so later modules can read, merge or edit it.

When to use it
a bank sends statements as locked files and your scenario needs to extract their text.
Watch out
you must know the password; store it in the module field, never in a shared sheet.
0CodeKit104

Create Emprty PDF

ActionIn the docs only

Produces a blank PDF, a base on which Draw Text and Draw Image can build a document from scratch.

When to use it
a simple label or cover page is assembled from mapped values without any template file.
Watch out
the typo is in Make's own module name, so search for Emprty, or scroll the PDF group, to find it.

Image

18 modules
0CodeKit105

Read EXIF Data from an Image

ActionIn the docs only

Pulls the EXIF information a camera or phone stores inside a photo, such as capture details, and makes it available for mapping.

When to use it
site inspectors upload photos and the report should record the details embedded in each picture.
Watch out
many apps strip EXIF on upload, so an empty result may mean the data was never there.
0CodeKit106

Blur an Image

ActionIn the docs only

Softens a picture, the usual step before posting a photo where faces or plates should not be recognizable.

When to use it
event photos go to a public gallery and a blurred version is published by default.
Watch out
an Input Buffer version of this module also exists; check in the editor which one accepts the file format your previous step outputs.
0CodeKit107

Sharpen an Image

ActionIn the docs only

Makes edges crisper on a photo, which helps product shots or scanned labels look clean before publishing.

When to use it
supplier pictures arrive slightly soft and the shop listing needs them sharper.
Watch out
sharpening cannot rescue a truly blurred picture; it only enhances what is there.
0CodeKit108

Input Buffer Sharpen an Image

ActionIn the docs only

Offers the same sharpening as its sibling, in a variant whose name points to image data received as a buffer from an earlier module.

When to use it
the photo comes straight from a download step in the scenario rather than from a web address.
Watch out
Make's doc gives no official description, so open both variants and compare the fields each one asks for.
0CodeKit109

Flip an Image

ActionIn the docs only

Mirrors a picture horizontally or vertically, fixing selfies and mirrored scans in one step.

When to use it
photos taken with a front camera show reversed text on a shop sign or a label.
Watch out
flipping is not rotating; use Rotate an Image when the picture is simply turned on its side.
0CodeKit110

Input Buffer Flip an Image

ActionIn the docs only

Mirrors a picture like Flip an Image, but, judging by its name, it works on file data passed along inside the scenario.

When to use it
a form attachment or a cloud download feeds the image directly and no public link exists.
Watch out
no official description exists for this variant; confirm its inputs in the module before building around it.
0CodeKit111

Crop an image

ActionIn the docs only

Trims the edges of a picture to keep only the area that matters, such as a product without its background table.

When to use it
profile pictures must fit a square frame on an intranet or a directory.
Watch out
test on a few different photos with Run once, since a fixed crop can cut off subjects placed off center.
0CodeKit112

Input Buffer Crop an Image

ActionIn the docs only

Crops a picture handed over as data by a previous module, which, going by the name, is what separates it from Crop an image.

When to use it
the photo is pulled from an email attachment or storage step and has no URL of its own.
Watch out
without an official description, check its fields in the editor before choosing between the two.
0CodeKit113

Convert an Image

ActionIn the docs only

Changes a picture from one file format to another, so it matches what the destination app accepts.

When to use it
a marketplace refuses the format your camera or design tool exports.
Watch out
Make's doc does not list the supported formats; open the module after creating the connection to see the options.
0CodeKit114

Input Buffer Convert an Image

ActionIn the docs only

Converts an image format from data received inside the scenario, according to what its name suggests, rather than from an address.

When to use it
a file downloaded from a cloud drive must change format before being uploaded somewhere else.
Watch out
the doc lists this module without a description, so verify its inputs with Run once on a sample file.
0CodeKit115

Resize an Image

ActionIn the docs only

Scales a picture to new dimensions, keeping pages light and uploads within the limits of other apps.

When to use it
photos from a phone are far too large for a newsletter or a product catalogue.
Watch out
smaller dimensions also mean a lighter file, useful since Make's Free plan handles files of 5 MB at most.
0CodeKit116

Input Buffer Resize an Image

ActionIn the docs only

Resizes an image delivered as data by the step before, which is what the Input Buffer label in its name indicates.

When to use it
attachments collected by a form tool need resizing before they reach your website.
Watch out
Make lists no official description for it; compare its fields with Resize an Image before picking one.
0CodeKit117

Rotate an Image

ActionIn the docs only

Turns a picture by the angle you set, correcting photos that arrive sideways or upside down.

When to use it
delivery drivers shoot proof photos with the phone held any way and the archive should look tidy.
Watch out
for pages inside a PDF, reach for Rotate Pages; this module works on image files.
0CodeKit118

Input Buffer Rotate an Image

ActionIn the docs only

Rotates an image that another module passes along as file data, going by its Input Buffer name.

When to use it
the photo never had a public link because it came from a private storage download.
Watch out
since the doc gives no description, test it with Run once and read the bundle it returns.
0CodeKit119

Input Buffer Extract EXIF Data

ActionIn the docs only

Reads the embedded EXIF details of a photo received as data from an earlier step, the buffer counterpart of Read EXIF Data from an Image.

When to use it
insurance claim photos are downloaded from an inbox and their capture details must be checked.
Watch out
the name is the only hint on its inputs; confirm them in the module before mapping.
0CodeKit120

Overlay Two Images

ActionIn the docs only

Places one picture on top of another and returns the combined result, for a logo on a photo or a badge on an avatar.

When to use it
every product visual posted to social media must carry the brand logo in a corner.
Watch out
both pictures must reach the module as data, and every run counts as an operation on your Make plan.
0CodeKit121

Image from Website

ActionIn the docs only

Turns a web address into a picture you can pass along the scenario, which saves you opening the page and taking the capture by hand. That reading comes from the name, since the doc only lists it.

When to use it
a new link lands in a sheet and your team wants a visual preview next to it.
Watch out
click Run once on one real URL first and look at the bundle to see what the image output contains.
0CodeKit122

Input Buffer Blur an Image

ActionIn the docs only

Softens a picture so faces, plates or private details stop being readable before the file goes anywhere else. The Input Buffer prefix sets it apart from Blur an Image: judging by the name, it works on file data from an earlier module.

When to use it
a previous module in the scenario already handed you the file itself, not a link to it.
Watch out
the doc gives no description, so test with Run once and compare the result with the plain blur module before you pick one.

Operator

17 modules
0CodeKit123

Video to Audio

ActionIn the docs only

Keeps only the soundtrack of a video, which gives you a lighter file for a podcast feed, an archive or a transcription step further down the scenario.

When to use it
a recorded webinar or interview comes in and all your team needs is what was said.
Watch out
each run counts as an operation, so filter out files you do not need before this step.
0CodeKit124

Merge Audios

ActionIn the docs only

Joins several audio clips into a single track, handy when an intro, a main recording and a closing message arrive as separate files and should leave as one.

When to use it
you assemble a voice message or an episode from pieces that earlier modules produced.
Watch out
the doc lists no limit and no order rule, so run the scenario once with Run once and listen to the result before you switch it on.
0CodeKit125

Switch the Keys and Values

ActionIn the docs only

Flips a lookup table around: what was the label becomes the value, and the reverse. That gives you a reverse lookup without rebuilding the list by hand in another tool.

When to use it
you hold a map from codes to names and suddenly need to go from names back to codes.
Watch out
if two keys share the same value, check the output bundle, because a flipped table cannot keep both.
0CodeKit126

Get the Gender from First Name

ActionIn the docs only

Gives you a likely gender guess from a first name, which some teams use to pick a greeting or sort a contact list when the form never asked the question.

When to use it
a sign-up form sends only a first name and your emails open with a tailored salutation.
Watch out
a name is a guess, not a fact about the person, so keep a neutral fallback text for unclear or mixed results.
0CodeKit127

Schedule a Cronjob or a Timer for a Webhook

ActionIn the docs only

Asks 0CodeKit to call a webhook address later, on a timer or on a recurring rule, so a second scenario can wake up at the right moment without Make polling in the meantime.

When to use it
a booking is confirmed now and a follow-up scenario must run at a precise later point.
Watch out
note the task details the module returns, because Delete a Task and List active Tasks in Scheduler work on those tasks afterwards.
0CodeKit128

Delete a Task

ActionIn the docs only

Cancels a timer or recurring job you set up earlier in the 0CodeKit scheduler, so the webhook it was meant to call stays quiet.

When to use it
a customer cancels an appointment and the reminder you scheduled for it should never go out.
Watch out
a deleted task does not come back, so pair this module with List active Tasks in Scheduler and check you target the right one.
0CodeKit129

List active Tasks in Scheduler

SearchIn the docs only

Shows the timers and recurring jobs still waiting in your 0CodeKit scheduler, which is the quickest way to audit what will fire before you change anything.

When to use it
you clean up old reminders or need the reference of one task before deleting it.
Watch out
this is a search, so it can return several bundles; add a filter after it if the next module should handle only one task.
0CodeKit130

Split First and Last Name

ActionIn the docs only

Cuts a full name into a first name and a last name, so your CRM or mailing tool gets two clean fields instead of one mixed string.

When to use it
a form or a spreadsheet stores people as a single name column and your next app wants them split.
Watch out
compound names and particles can land on the wrong side; test with Run once on a few tricky rows first.
0CodeKit131

Expand a shortened URL

ActionIn the docs only

Reveals where a short link really leads, which lets you log the true destination or check it before anyone on your team clicks.

When to use it
links shared in messages or support tickets arrive shortened and you want the real domain in your records.
Watch out
a short link that no longer works gives nothing useful back, so plan a filter or an error route for that case.
0CodeKit132

Build a URL with UTM Parameters

ActionIn the docs only

Adds campaign tags to a link so your analytics tool knows which email, post or partner sent the visitor. No more typing those tags by hand and getting one wrong.

When to use it
a scenario publishes or sends links and each one should carry the source and campaign it belongs to.
Watch out
keep the tag values consistent with the ones your team already uses, or your reports split one campaign into several.
0CodeKit133

Extract the UTM parameters from a URL

ActionIn the docs only

Reads the campaign tags out of a tracked link and hands them over as separate values, ready to store beside a lead or an order.

When to use it
a form captures the landing URL and marketing wants the source and campaign in the CRM, not buried in a long address.
Watch out
a link without tags returns empty values, so decide what the next module writes in that case.
0CodeKit134

Get Logo From URL

ActionIn the docs only

Fetches a company logo from its website address, which gives your records, dashboards or proposals a recognizable visual without any manual search.

When to use it
a new account is created from a domain and you want its logo attached right away.
Watch out
small or unusual sites may return nothing; check the output with Run once before mapping it into another app.
0CodeKit135

Get HTML Element from URL

ActionIn the docs only

Pulls one precise piece out of a web page, such as a price, a title or a status line, instead of the whole page code.

When to use it
you watch a single value on a public page and only that value matters to the next module.
Watch out
if the site changes its layout, the element can disappear from the result; test again after any redesign of the page you target.
0CodeKit136

Parse URL

ActionIn the docs only

Breaks a web address into its parts, so the domain, the path or the query string become separate values you can filter, store or compare.

When to use it
you sort incoming links by website, or need just the path of a page to match it with your content list.
Watch out
a malformed address will not split cleanly, so place a filter before this module when the input comes from free text.
0CodeKit137

Get Thumbnail from video URL

ActionIn the docs only

Gives you the preview image of a video from its link, perfect for a newsletter card, a catalog entry or a post that should not show a bare URL.

When to use it
a new video link gets added to a sheet and the next app needs a picture to go with it.
Watch out
the doc names no supported video sites, so try one link from each platform you use with Run once.
0CodeKit138

Merge Audio into a Video File

ActionIn the docs only

Lays a soundtrack over a video, so a voice-over, music or translated narration ends up inside one final file ready to publish.

When to use it
the video and its audio are produced separately, by a person or by earlier modules, and must ship together.
Watch out
unlike Merge Audios, which joins sound files, this one puts sound on top of pictures; pick it only when a video file is involved.
0CodeKit139

Check Rate Limit

ActionIn the docs only

Tells you where your 0CodeKit usage stands against its limits, which helps a scenario slow down or stop before calls start failing.

When to use it
a heavy scenario sends many requests to 0CodeKit and you want a guard step at the start.
Watch out
the doc gives no figure for these limits, so read the values the module returns instead of assuming a number.

Storage

14 modules
0CodeKit140

Create a Global Variable

ActionIn the docs only

Stores a named value in 0CodeKit that other scenarios can read later, a simple shared memory for a counter, a token or the last processed ID.

When to use it
two scenarios must agree on the same piece of information and you do not want a spreadsheet just for that.
Watch out
create it once; later runs should use Update a Global Variable, or you risk errors or duplicates.
0CodeKit141

Delete a Global Variable

ActionIn the docs only

Removes a shared value you no longer need, which keeps your 0CodeKit storage clean and stops old scenarios from reading stale data.

When to use it
a project ends or a temporary flag has done its job.
Watch out
any scenario that still calls Get a Global Variable on that name will break afterwards, so check who reads it first.
0CodeKit142

Get a Global Variable

ActionIn the docs only

Reads a shared value back into the scenario, so a step can reuse what another run or another scenario saved earlier.

When to use it
you resume work where the last run stopped, for instance with the last invoice number already handled.
Watch out
if the name is misspelled or the variable was deleted, the module has nothing to return; map the exact name you created.
0CodeKit143

List Global Variables

SearchIn the docs only

Gives you an overview of every shared value stored in your 0CodeKit account, useful to audit or clean up what scenarios have left behind.

When to use it
you inherit someone else's scenarios and want to know which variables exist before touching anything.
Watch out
as a search, it returns one bundle per variable; the modules after it will run once for each.
0CodeKit144

Update a Global Variable

ActionIn the docs only

Replaces the stored value of an existing shared variable, keeping the name and changing the content as your process moves forward.

When to use it
a run finishes and the next one must start from the new position, count or status.
Watch out
the old value is overwritten, so read it first with Get a Global Variable if you still need it.
0CodeKit145

Create a JSON Bin

ActionIn the docs only

Saves a structured block of data in 0CodeKit, a lightweight place to park a whole record rather than a single value.

When to use it
a scenario builds an order summary or a config that another scenario will read later.
Watch out
keep the reference the module returns, since Get a JSON Bin and Update a JSON Bin need it to find the same bin again.
0CodeKit146

Get a JSON Bin

ActionIn the docs only

Reads back a stored data block in full, so the scenario can map its values into the next app without rebuilding them.

When to use it
a second scenario continues a job and needs the record the first one saved.
Watch out
the content comes back as structured data; use Run once to see its shape before mapping fields.
0CodeKit147

List JSON Bins

SearchIn the docs only

Shows every data block you have stored in 0CodeKit, which helps you find an old bin or check what your scenarios keep piling up.

When to use it
you tidy up storage or look for the right bin when the reference got lost.
Watch out
each bin comes out as its own bundle, so the next modules repeat for every item unless you add a filter.
0CodeKit148

Update a JSON Bin

ActionIn the docs only

Rewrites the content of a stored data block, so the record stays current as your process changes its status or details.

When to use it
an order moves forward and the saved summary must reflect the new state.
Watch out
send the full content you want to keep; test with Run once to confirm how the stored data changes.
0CodeKit149

Upload a File to 0CodeKit storage

ActionIn the docs only

Puts a file into your 0CodeKit storage, so other modules or scenarios can pick it up later without a separate drive.

When to use it
a scenario creates a PDF or an image and you want it kept in the same place as the tools that process it.
Watch out
on the Make Free plan, files handled in a scenario are capped at 5 MB, so large media may need a paid plan.
0CodeKit150

Delete a File from 0CodeKit storage

ActionIn the docs only

Removes a stored file once it has served its purpose, keeping your space clear and avoiding outdated copies.

When to use it
a document has been sent or archived elsewhere and the working copy is no longer needed.
Watch out
there is no undo; list the files first with List Saved Files to be sure you delete the right one.
0CodeKit151

Download a File from 0CodeKit storage

ActionIn the docs only

Brings a stored file back into the scenario as data, ready to attach to an email, push to another app or process further.

When to use it
a file saved by an earlier run now has to go to a client or into a shared folder.
Watch out
the file travels through Make, so the Free plan cap of 5 MB per file applies here too.
0CodeKit152

List Saved Files

SearchIn the docs only

Gives you the inventory of files sitting in your 0CodeKit storage, which is the natural first step before downloading, sharing or cleaning up.

When to use it
you need to find a file by name, or check what an earlier scenario actually saved.
Watch out
every file becomes a bundle, and each bundle processed later costs operations, so filter early.
0CodeKit153

Create temporary URL to file

ActionIn the docs only

Gives a stored file a link that works for a limited time, so you can share it without handing over permanent access.

When to use it
a client should download a document from an email, and the link should not live forever.
Watch out
the doc does not state how long the link lasts; test it and never promise a duration you have not checked.

Text

3 modules
0CodeKit154

Compare String

ActionIn the docs only

Tells you whether two pieces of text match, which lets a scenario branch on the answer instead of relying on an exact filter setting.

When to use it
you check that an entered code, name or reference is the one you expect before going on.
Watch out
spaces and letter case can break a comparison, so clean the text first if it comes from a form.
0CodeKit155

Contains Text

ActionIn the docs only

Checks whether a word or phrase appears inside a longer text, a quick way to spot a keyword in an email, a ticket or a comment.

When to use it
incoming messages that mention a refund or an urgent issue should follow a different path.
Watch out
a short search term can match inside other words, so choose it carefully and test on real messages.
0CodeKit156

Extract Text

ActionIn the docs only

Pulls a specific part out of a longer text, so the scenario keeps only the piece it needs, such as a reference or a code.

When to use it
a notification email carries an order number somewhere in its body and you want just that number.
Watch out
unlike Contains Text, which answers yes or no, this module returns the text itself; run it once to see what it catches.

0CodeKit157

Retrieve Credits

ActionIn the docs only

Shows how many credits remain on your 0CodeKit account, so a scenario can warn someone before the balance runs dry.

When to use it
several scenarios use 0CodeKit heavily and you want an early alert instead of failed runs.
Watch out
these are 0CodeKit credits, separate from the credits Make counts on your own plan.
0CodeKit158

Get Available IP Address

ActionIn the docs only

Returns IP address information from 0CodeKit, which helps when a partner service only accepts calls from addresses it knows.

When to use it
another system asks you to allow a list of addresses and you want the value fetched rather than copied by hand.
Watch out
the doc gives no description of the output; check the bundle with Run once before you share any value.

Make an API Call

ActionIn the docs only

Reaches any part of the 0CodeKit API that the listed modules do not cover, using the same connection you already set up.

When to use it
a 0CodeKit feature you need has no dedicated module in Make.
Watch out
you write the request yourself, so keep the 0CodeKit API documentation open and test with Run once.

FAQ

Questions about 0CodeKit and Make

01Is the 0CodeKit Make integration free?
Yes, on the Make side: 0CodeKit is a standard app, available from the Free plan. That plan allows 2 active scenarios, runs them at most every 15 minutes, stops an execution after 5 minutes and handles files up to 5 MB, with 512 MB of data transfer. Paid plans (Core, Pro, Teams and Enterprise) bring the shortest interval down to 1 minute and remove the cap on active scenarios. Every module run on a bundle counts as an operation. You also need a 0CodeKit account, whose own terms sit outside Make.
02What do you need to connect 0CodeKit to Make?
A 0CodeKit account and its API key. Log in to 0CodeKit, click the copy icon under the API Key in the bottom left corner and store the key somewhere safe. In Make, add any 0CodeKit module, click Create a connection, give it a name if you want, paste the key into the API Key field and click Save. If Make asks you to authenticate and confirm access, accept. That single connection then serves all 159 modules.
03Can 0CodeKit start a Make scenario in real time?
No. 0CodeKit has no trigger in Make, neither scheduled nor instant, so it never starts a scenario on its own. Two ways to start anyway: put another app's trigger first, for example a form or a storage app that reports new items, and let 0CodeKit work on what it hands over; or start the scenario on its schedule, every 15 minutes by default, with a shortest interval of 1 minute on paid plans. In both cases 0CodeKit acts as a step in the middle.
04What if a 0CodeKit module you need is missing in Make?
Use Make an API Call. 0CodeKit has this module, which calls any endpoint of the 0CodeKit API from your scenario with the same connection, so you are not limited to the 159 listed modules. Keep in mind that the Make documentation gives no description for the modules and no numeric limit, so test every new module with Run once and read the bundles it returns. If a job belongs to another tool entirely, add that app's module next to 0CodeKit in the same scenario.
05Should you use Make or n8n with 0CodeKit?
It depends on where the rest of your automations live. This page only documents Make, where 0CodeKit brings 159 modules, 153 actions and 6 searches, with no trigger, plus Make an API Call for anything else. Many apps also have an n8n node, so check whether one exists for 0CodeKit before you choose. Then decide on criteria that matter to your team: the platform your other scenarios already run on, who maintains them, and how you prefer to build.
