The MemoMeister Make integration lets Make, a no-code automation tool, write into your MemoMeister account for you. You build a scenario, which is the automation itself: a chain of modules, each one a brick that creates, finds or moves a memo or a folder. MemoMeister has no trigger, so the scenario starts from another app or from a schedule.

A ready folder for every new job. When a project lands in another tool, Create a Folder opens its folder and Create a Text Memo drops a first note inside it, so the site team finds a clean structure instead of an empty account.

Documents filed where they belong. A file coming from email or cloud storage can go straight into the right folder with Create a File Memo, after Search for Folders has located that folder by name.

Feedback that stays on the memo. Create a Comment posts a remark on an existing memo, which keeps an approval or a question next to the document it concerns.

Know the limits before you start. MemoMeister offers no trigger in Make, so nothing fires when a memo changes on its side, and there is no generic Make an API Call module; Execute a GraphQL Query is the closest thing to a custom request. How do you connect MemoMeister to Make?

    Copy your API key from MemoMeister

    In MemoMeister, open Settings, then Company, Developers and API Keys, and copy the key shown on screen. You need an active MemoMeister account for this menu to be there.

    Add a MemoMeister module in Make

    In your scenario, add any MemoMeister module and click Create a connection. The Connection name field is optional; a clear name helps when you later link a second account.

    Paste the credentials and save

    Enter the key you copied, or follow the instructions Make shows on screen, then save. From now on every MemoMeister module in your scenarios reuses this connection, so you only do this once.

Build your first scenario with MemoMeister

GoalWhen a new project comes in from another app, Make creates its folder in MemoMeister and files a text memo inside it.

    Create the scenario

    On the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the +. Pick the trigger of the app where your projects start, such as a form or a CRM you already use.

    Add Create a Folder

    Click the + on the right, search for MemoMeister and choose Create a Folder. Link your account with Create a connection, then map the project name from the first module.

    Add Create a Text Memo

    Add Create a Text Memo after the folder module. Point it to the folder created one step earlier by mapping its output, and write the memo from the project details.

    Test with Run once

    Click Run once and create a test project in the source app. Open each module bubble to read the bundle it received, then check in MemoMeister that the folder and its memo are there.

MemoMeister and Make: common questions

01Is the MemoMeister Make integration free?
Yes, on the Make side. MemoMeister is a standard app, so it is available from the Free plan, which allows 2 active scenarios, a minimum of 15 minutes between scheduled runs, 5 minutes of execution per run, files up to 5 MB and 512 MB of data transfer. Paid plans lower the interval to 1 minute and remove the cap on active scenarios. You still need your own active MemoMeister subscription, which is billed by MemoMeister, not by Make.
02What is needed to connect MemoMeister to Make?
An active MemoMeister account and its API key. You find the key in MemoMeister under Settings, Company, Developers, then API Keys. In Make, add any MemoMeister module, click Create a connection, optionally give it a name, and paste the key or follow the on-screen steps. The documentation also mentions that requests need a valid UserAgent header. Once saved, the same connection serves every MemoMeister module in all your scenarios, so you never repeat it.
03Does the MemoMeister Make integration have a real-time trigger?
No. MemoMeister has no trigger in Make at all, neither scheduled nor instant. A scenario that writes into MemoMeister therefore starts from something else: the trigger of another app, for example a form submission or a new CRM record, or the schedule on the first module, which runs every 15 minutes by default on a new scenario. Changes made inside MemoMeister itself will not start a scenario on their own.
04What if a MemoMeister module is missing in Make?
It depends on how technical your team is. MemoMeister has no Make an API Call module, but Execute a GraphQL Query lets you send your own query to the app, which covers reads and changes the 14 ready modules do not handle. If nobody on the team writes GraphQL, look at whether another app in your stack can do the job, or describe the case in the help form further down this page.
