Findymail Zapier integrationAutomate Findymail with Zapier.
The Findymail Zapier integration gives you 1 trigger, 2 actions and 0 searches. Findymail can start a Zap the moment it finds a new email, and it can find or check an address for the other apps in your sales workflow, starting on the free plan.

What the Findymail Zapier integration actually does
The integration links your Findymail account to Zapier, so finding and checking emails stops being copy and paste between tabs. A new address found in Findymail can kick off work in another app, and any app that holds a full name and a company domain can ask Findymail for the matching email, then have it checked before anyone writes to it.
Three results come out of it. A clean contact in your CRM: New Contact starts the Zap, Verify Email checks the address, and a filter lets only deliverable ones move on. An enriched lead sheet: a row with a name and a domain goes through Find Email, and the address it finds is handed to the next step. A safer send list: Verify Email runs on addresses collected by a form before they ever reach your email tool.
What Zapier does not do here matters just as much. There is no search step for Findymail, so a Zap cannot look up a contact it already handled and reuse it. There is a single trigger, tied to newly found emails; no other Findymail event can start a Zap. And the addresses already sitting in your account before you switch a Zap on are never picked up.

Zapier words, in one minute
Eight terms come back on this page. Here is what each one means in plain words.
- Zap
- The automation you build in Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time that event happens.
- Trigger
- The event that starts a Zap. Here it is Findymail finding a new email. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, like checking an address.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action that completed successfully, and your plan is a count of those.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by the app itself, the moment it happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when what arrived meets your condition, and stops it right there otherwise.
- Connection
- Your Findymail account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step in every Zap that talks to Findymail.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter turns it into one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What a Findymail Zap really costs
The trigger is free: Zapier bills a task only when an action completes. Find Email and Verify Email each count once when they succeed, and a run that fails is not counted.
- TriggerNo task
- Each successful action1 task
- Free plan100 tasks a month, 2 steps per Zap
- Premium appNo
The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, and Findymail is not a premium app, so it works there. The catch is size: free Zaps stop at two steps. Chaining Verify Email after Find Email, or adding a filter, makes a multi-step Zap that calls for a paid plan. The interval grid below only concerns polling triggers. New Contact is instant, so it fires straight away on every plan, free included.
Connect Findymail to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open Apps and add a connection
In your Zapier account, open the Apps page and click + Add connection. You need a Findymail account first, plus access to anything you do not own that the Zap should touch.
- 02
Pick Findymail
Type Findymail in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens so the sign-in happens on the Findymail side, not inside Zapier.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Sign in to Findymail in that tab and allow Zapier to use the account. The connection then shows up in your Apps list, and every Findymail step you add later reuses it.
Your first Zap: verified leads straight into Pipedrive
GoalEvery new email Findymail finds gets checked, and only the deliverable ones become a person in Pipedrive.
- 01
Create the Zap and set the trigger
Start a new Zap, choose Findymail as the app and New Contact as the event, then pick your connection. This is the step that decides what starts everything.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent emails found on your account, so you map the next steps on a real one instead of a guess.
- 03
Add Verify Email
Click the plus icon, choose Findymail again with Verify Email, and map the address from the trigger into the Email field. Test it and note the value it returns.
- 04
Hold back the bad addresses
Add a Filter step. Point it at the verification value you spotted in the test, with a text rule, so only deliverable addresses go on.
- 05
Create the person and publish
Add Pipedrive with Create Person, map the name and the checked email, test once more, then click Publish to switch the Zap on.
The Findymail trigger
1 event starts a Zap when something happens in Findymail, and one of them is instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
New Contact
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new email is found.”
This one starts your Zap each time Findymail finds a new email address on your account. No other Findymail event can open one. So every workflow that reacts to Findymail, whatever it does next, begins with this card.
The Findymail actions
Findymail gives you 2 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Find Email
ActionIn Zapier“Finds an email address from a full name and a website domain.”
Hand it a full name and a website domain, and Findymail looks for the matching email address, then passes it to the steps that follow.
Verify Email
ActionIn Zapier“Verifies deliverability of an email”
Checks whether an address is deliverable before anything gets sent to it. The answer comes back into your Zap, ready for a filter to act on.
When a Findymail Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Findymail, so the cases below are the general limits of any Zap, read through this app.
When a run goes wrong, check these four first, then the Zapier troubleshooting guide.
No catch-up on older emails
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Emails Findymail found before that are never picked up, and moving that backlog is a separate job.A Zap that sets itself off
If a Zap writes into the very place its own trigger watches, it starts itself again and again, and your task count drains fast. Send the output somewhere else.A sudden flood gets held back
When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import for instance, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back instead of running everything at once.A filter that never passes
Filter rules are typed: a text rule only works on text, a number rule only on numbers. Pick the wrong type and the filter stops every single run.
