What the Lista Firme Zapier integration does
Lista Firme is a service that gives detailed information and data about businesses. On Zapier it works as a lookup: another app starts the Zap, then Lista Firme finds the company, by part of its name or by its CUI, its tax identification number, and passes what it found to the next steps.
Three results come up most often, all built on its two searches.
A company list that fills itself in. A new row with a CUI lands in your spreadsheet, Get Company pulls that company's information, and the next step writes it back into the row.
From a name to the right company. All you have is a name typed by someone. Search Companies searches on that name, or part of it, and returns the CUI you need for a precise lookup.
Records that arrive already checked. Before a new company goes into your CRM, the Zap runs Get Company and only carries on with what the lookup found.
What Zapier does not do here: Lista Firme has no trigger, so it cannot start a Zap; another app has to. It has no action either, so a Zap never writes into Lista Firme. And because a search is a step in its own right, any Zap that uses Lista Firme is multi-step, which puts it on a paid plan.

Zapier words, explained once
Zapier has its own vocabulary. Here it is in plain words, so the rest of the page reads cleanly.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time that trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Lista Firme has none, so the trigger always comes from another app.
- Action
- What the Zap does once started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, in another app here.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The count on your plan is a count of those.
- Search step
- A step that looks up something that already exists, here a company in Lista Firme, so later steps can use what it found.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A search step makes one, and it then needs a paid plan.
- Connection
- Your Lista Firme account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step and every Zap that uses it.
What a Lista Firme Zap costs
Lista Firme is not a premium app, so the free plan accepts it. The catch: its only operations are searches, and a search step always makes the Zap multi-step, which needs a paid plan.
- Premium appNo
- Plan for a Zap with a searchPaid: a search makes the Zap multi-step
- Tasks on the free plan100 per month
- Data options in Get CompanyPriced by Lista Firme
The free plan gives 100 tasks a month but stops at two steps, one trigger and one action, so there is no room for a search between them. On a paid plan, each action that succeeds after the search costs one task, and an action that fails costs nothing. On Lista Firme's side, the Data field of Get Company lets you choose which information to return, and each choice carries its own price, set out in Lista Firme's documentation. The grid below is how often Zapier checks a polling trigger; it applies to the trigger of the other app that starts your Zap, since Lista Firme has none.
Connect Lista Firme to Zapier
- 01
Add the connection
Open Apps in your Zapier account, click + Add connection, search for Lista Firme in the dialog and pick it. You need a Lista Firme account before you start.
- 02
Sign in
Click Add connection. A tab opens on Lista Firme: sign in with the account you want the lookups to run under. Every Zap reuses this connection, so choose it with care.
- 03
Grant access
Accept Zapier's access request in that tab. It closes and Lista Firme appears on your Apps page, ready to be picked as a search step in any Zap you build next.
Your first Zap: complete a company list from a name
GoalWhen a new row with a company name appears in your spreadsheet, find the company in Lista Firme and write its details back into the row.
- 01
Pick the trigger
Create a Zap and choose your spreadsheet app with its new row event. Test it: Zapier brings back the three most recent rows, so you map the rest on a real one.
- 02
Add Search Companies
Click the plus icon, add Lista Firme and pick Search Companies from the SEARCH section. Map the company name from the row into the text to search.
- 03
Add Get Company
Add a second Lista Firme search, Get Company. Map the CUI found by the previous step into the tax code, then choose what to return in the Data field.
- 04
Write the result back
Add your spreadsheet again as the action that updates the row, and map the details returned by Get Company into its columns. Test each step and read what came back.
- 05
Publish
Publish the Zap to switch it on. With two searches it is a four-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan. Test the whole Zap once before relying on it.
Lista Firme searches
2 search steps look for data that already exists in Lista Firme, so a later step can use it.
Both operations are search steps: they look companies up and hand the result to the steps after them. In the editor they sit at the bottom of the Action event list, under SEARCH. Three settings decide what happens when the result is not a single clean match.
Get Company
SearchIn Zapier“Get company information for provided CUI (Tax Identification Number).”
Fetches the information Lista Firme holds on one company, identified by its CUI, its tax identification number.
Search Companies
SearchIn Zapier“To query information about a company, you need to know its unique registration number (CUI). If you don't know the CUI, you can search by name or parts of the name to find the CUI for further use.”
Looks for companies by their name or part of it, from the text you map in, and returns what matches, including the CUI.
The three settings every search exposes
- Successful if no search results are found?Left on its default, a search that finds nothing stops the Zap there and skips the steps that depended on it. Switched on, the Zap carries on empty-handed.
- Create X if it doesn't exist yet? This box turns a search into find or create. Lista Firme offers no such variant: it cannot create a company, only look one up.
- If multiple search results are found?Keep the first match (the default), stop the Zap, or pass every match on at once. It matters most for a name search, where several companies can fit.
When a Lista Firme Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article of its own to Lista Firme. What goes wrong comes from how searches behave in Zapier and from the trigger of the app that starts your Zap.
Most of these are surprises, not bugs. If a run really fails, the Zapier troubleshooting page is where to look next.
The Zap stops after the search
If Search Companies or Get Company finds nothing and the setting stays on its default, the Zap stops there and the steps after it are skipped. The wrong company comes back
A partial name can match several companies. On its default setting the search keeps the first one, which may not be the company you meant. The Zap feeds itself
If the step after the search writes into the very place your trigger watches, such as adding rows to the sheet it reads, the Zap sets itself off again and again.Old records are never looked up
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Rows or records that already existed are never sent to Lista Firme; that backlog is a separate job.
