Loop & Tie Zapier integrationAutomate Loop & Tie with Zapier.
The Loop & Tie Zapier integration gives you 0 triggers, 1 action and 0 searches. That single action, Create Gift Email, creates a gift from one of your collections and the email that offers it, sent at the scheduled time. Another app always starts the Zap.

What the Loop & Tie Zapier integration actually does
Loop & Tie lets you send gifts at scale: you pick a curated collection, and the person receiving it chooses the gift they want. Through Zapier, a Zap (an automation you build once) can create that gift and its email on its own, each time something happens in another app you already use.
In practice, the single action gives three kinds of results. A gift sent without a manual step: when a contact appears in your CRM, Create Gift Email builds the gift and the email with their name and address, and Loop & Tie sends it at the scheduled time. A personal message at scale: the Message and From fields can be mapped from earlier steps, so each email carries words and a signature that fit the person. A gift billed to the right team: the required Team field decides on whose behalf the gift is sent and billed, so one Zap per team keeps the accounting clean.
Now what Zapier does not do with Loop & Tie. There is no trigger: a gift being chosen or redeemed cannot start a Zap. There is no search: a Zap cannot look up a gift or a recipient already in Loop & Tie. And nothing edits or cancels a gift once created. The integration only sends, it never reports back.

Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words come back across this page. Here they are, plainly.
- Zap
- The automation you build in Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it. Loop & Tie has none, so another app plays this part.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or creates something for you, like a gift email in Loop & Tie.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. Your plan's allowance counts those, nothing else.
- Polling vs instant
- Zapier checks a polling trigger on a timer. An instant trigger is pushed by the app itself the moment the event happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when the incoming data meets your condition, and stops it there otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap with more than one trigger and one action. A filter or a second action makes one, and it needs a paid plan.
What a Loop & Tie Zap really costs
Zapier bills tasks, and a task is an action that worked. The trigger never costs anything, nor do the checks Zapier makes for new data.
- Loop & Tie premium appNo, works on the free plan
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- One gift email createdOne task
- Failed actionNot billed
Every Create Gift Email that succeeds counts as one task; a failed one is not counted. A Zap with three actions uses three times the tasks of a one-action Zap. Loop & Tie is not a premium app, so the free plan accepts it: 100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps, two steps per Zap. A trigger from another app plus Create Gift Email fits exactly. Add a filter to send gifts to some people only, and the Zap becomes multi-step and needs a paid plan. The grid below sets how often Zapier checks a polling trigger. Loop & Tie has no trigger, so it applies to the app that starts your Zap, when that trigger is a polling one.
Connect Loop & Tie to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open your Apps page
In your Zapier account, go to the Apps page and click + Add connection. A connection is your Loop & Tie account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every Loop & Tie step.
- 02
Choose Loop & Tie
Search for Loop & Tie in the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. Pick the Loop & Tie account that belongs to the team you want gifts billed to.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
A new tab opens on Loop & Tie. Sign in, then grant Zapier access to the account. Back in the editor, the connection is listed in the account menu of the Create Gift Email step.
Your first Loop & Tie Zap
GoalWhen a new contact appears in your CRM, create a Loop & Tie gift email addressed to them, with your message and signature.
- 01
Pick the trigger
Create a Zap and choose your CRM with its new contact event. Test it: Zapier brings back the three most recent contacts, so you map fields on a real one.
- 02
Add Create Gift Email
Click the plus icon, choose Loop & Tie, then
Create Gift Email. Select your connection, then the Team the gift is billed to and the Collection to offer. - 03
Map the recipient and the words
Map the contact's name into Recipient's Name and their address into Recipient's Email Address. Write the Message and the From signature, which both show on the email and the redemption page.
- 04
Tell the team
Add a chat action that posts who received a gift. With two actions the Zap is multi-step, so this part needs a paid plan; skip it on the free plan.
- 05
Test, then publish
Test each action once, ideally with your own address as recipient, and read what came back before going further. Then click Publish.
The Loop & Tie action
Loop & Tie gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

When a Loop & Tie Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Loop & Tie and documents no limit specific to the app. What breaks comes from Zapier's general rules.
Three cases explain most surprises with a gifting Zap. If yours looks different, the Zapier troubleshooting page is the next stop.
Earlier contacts get no gift
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you publish it. People already in your CRM receive nothing; sending to that backlog is a separate job.A bulk import holds the gifts back
When your trigger app suddenly returns a huge batch, after an import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold those runs back. The same contact is not gifted twice
On a polling trigger, Zapier remembers the items it has already seen, so the same contact never starts the Zap a second time.
