Brevo is simpler and often cheaper to start, with SMS and a generous free plan. If your priority is advanced nurturing and selling with a real pipeline, ActiveCampaign wins. If you're starting out with basic needs, Brevo is sometimes enough. During the training, we help you decide based on your real case.

  • Do I need to be technical to take the ActiveCampaign training?
    No, not necessarily. ActiveCampaign is built for marketers: the automation builder and the campaign editor are visual, drag-and-drop. For deeper API integrations, a bit of technical logic helps, but the 1-on-1 format is built exactly for that: we start from your exact level. Beginner, we go step by step. Seasoned, we jump straight to scoring, advanced conditions and the API. Most of what you'll do runs without touching any code.
  • How does lead scoring work in ActiveCampaign?
    Lead scoring assigns points to your contacts based on their behavior (open, click, page visit) and their record (job title, industry, company size). When a contact crosses a threshold, you trigger an action: alert a rep, add them to a sequence, move their deal forward. ActiveCampaign runs two scores in parallel, one per contact and one per deal. In training, we build your scoring on your real qualification criteria, so your team knows who to call first without guessing.
  • Is ActiveCampaign for marketing or also for sales?

  • Can you migrate from Mailchimp or HubSpot to ActiveCampaign?
    Yes, but it takes prep. You have to export your contacts and tags, rebuild your automations (they don't transfer automatically), reconstruct your segments, and reconfigure domain authentication to keep your deliverability. The classic trap: assuming workflows migrate in one click, when you have to rebuild them in the automation builder. We've handled several migrations like this. In 1-on-1, we walk through yours step by step and test before cutting off the old tool.
  • What's the difference between a tag, a list and a custom field?
    Three ways to organize your contacts, all complementary. A list is a subscription to a channel (newsletter, customers). A tag is a flexible marker an automation adds or removes based on behavior (clicked, bought, cold lead). A custom field stores a data point (purchase date, plan, industry). Best practice: few lists, lots of tags, and fields for personalization. Misused, you end up with 40 unmanageable lists. In training, we set a clean architecture from the start.
  • Is the training online or in person?
