Who trains you

We build Softr portals for real clients, not just in theory.

Most Softr trainings are run by people who read the docs the night before. At Hack'celeration it's the opposite: client portals, internal tools, auth, user groups and granular permissions backed by Airtable, that's our daily agency work. Everything we teach you, we practice on shipped projects. We know the traps (the Airtable base never structured for an app, the permissions that leak data) because we've already solved them.

  • We build Softr client portals and internal tools for real clients, not just in theory
  • 1-on-1 format: the trainer adapts to your level, no-code beginner or seasoned ops
  • We tell you when Softr isn't the right call (complex custom logic, heavy compute, native mobile app)
  • We start from your real Airtable and your actual project, not a dummy example

What you master

Four pillars so your users actually log in.

A badly scoped Softr means an app that leaks data, slows down as it grows, or one you can't edit. Most of the trouble comes from the data model, not the tool. We pick up your real Airtable and work through the four pillars together.

Certified Hack'celeration trainers

Meet our trainers, leave with a plan.

Drop your email. We get back to you to connect you with a Hack'celeration-certified trainer: we look at your Airtable and your Softr account, scope what the app has to do, and tell you where to start. No commitment, even if you don't take the training.

  • An honest take: does Softr fit your project
  • How to structure your Airtable or Sheets data source
  • The user groups and permissions you need
  • The right 1-on-1 format for your level and app type
How it runs

Your Softr Training, 1-on-1, step by step.

Five steps, no skipping. Each one on your real Airtable and your Softr account, with a clear deliverable. From the first session we scope the real job and model your data. By the end, you edit and grow your app without us.

  1. Step 1 · Scoping audit

We open your Softr and your Airtable and scope the real job

First session, we share your screen and look together. Who needs to log in? Which records does each person see? What can they edit? And where does your data live today, Airtable or Sheets? We list what the portal or tool actually has to do, in priority order. Half the value is telling you whether Softr is the right call before you build. No theory, your real project.

  2. Step 2 · Data model first

We structure your Airtable or Sheets source before any block

We tackle the most important part first: the data model. We structure your Airtable, Google Sheets or Supabase source for an app, not for a spreadsheet: the right tables, fields, relations and views, and the user-group logic that decides who sees what. Done right, the app is fast, scoped and maintainable. Done wrong, no block saves it. You validate the model before we place a single page.

  3. Step 3 · Blocks, auth and permissions

Dynamic lists, login and granular permissions on your real cases

We build the app from Softr blocks: dynamic lists and detail pages, forms that write into your data, charts, and the sign-up and login flow. Then we wire authentication, user groups and granular permissions so each client or role only sees their own records, and we gate the content that needs a membership. You practice on your own data and your real roles, not a dummy example.

  4. Step 4 · Custom domain and stack

We connect your domain, your branding and your automations

This is where your app becomes a real tool. We connect your custom domain, apply your branding, set the SEO and metadata basics, and plug the app into your wider stack: automations from Airtable, payment or CRM connections, external tools through your workflows. We also show you where Softr AI and the visual editor let you ship small changes without waiting on anyone.

  5. Step 5 · Autonomy

You edit and grow your app without us

The number one goal: you become autonomous. By the end of the program, you know how to structure your base, assemble the blocks, wire auth, scope permissions and edit text, lists and pages yourself. You no longer need an agency to change a block or add a record type. And if you want to delegate a big phase later, we also run a Softr agency, but that's not the point here.

The proof

Why train 1-on-1 with us.

  • 300+Pros already trained on no-code

More than 300 people have gone through our trainings across France and Europe. Ops teams, small-business founders, freelancers. Not vanity numbers: people who shipped a real client portal or internal tool on Softr and their Airtable.

  • 4.7/5Rating across 334 verified reviews

Average rating of 4.7 out of 5, across 334 reviews. We won't promise it's all magic: you have to structure your base and do the work on your real project. But the 1-on-1 format makes the difference when it comes to auth and permissions.

  • 1:1A dedicated expert, not a class of 100

You're not a number in a webinar. A trainer opens your real Softr account and your Airtable, looks at your data, and works through your actual portal or tool. We schedule sessions around your availability, replays included.

FAQ · Softr training

The questions we get the most.

  • What is a 1-on-1 Softr training?
An individual program with a Softr expert, not a class of 100 people. We open your real Softr account and your Airtable, look at your data, and work through your actual project: client portal, internal tool, member app. You ask your questions live, the trainer adapts the pace to your level. We schedule sessions around your availability, and you leave with concrete actions every time. That's what makes the difference when it comes to auth, user groups and permissions.
  • How much does the Softr training cost?
There is no single price. We connect you with a trainer certified by Hack'celeration, matched to your need and your level. It varies from one trainer to another, based on their profile and the format that fits your project.
  • Softr or Glide: which one to pick?
It depends on your need. Softr shines for web client portals and internal tools backed by Airtable, with auth, user groups and granular permissions, in the browser. Glide leans more toward mobile-style apps and lighter data. If you want a branded client portal on your Airtable or an internal tool for your team, Softr is often the right call. If you're after a mobile-first experience, look at Glide. During the training we help you decide based on your real case, without pushing a tool for the sake of it.
  • Can you connect Softr to Airtable, Make or n8n?
Yes, and it's a big part of the training. Softr reads your data from Airtable, Google Sheets, Supabase or Google, and we pick the source that fits your team. Beyond that, we connect your app to your stack: automations triggered from Airtable, payment or CRM connections, and external tools through your Make or n8n workflows. Your portal stops being an island: a new record can trigger an email, a CRM update or an action elsewhere, without you touching code.
  • Do I need to be technical to take the Softr training?
No, not necessarily. Softr is no-code: a visual editor to assemble blocks on your data, without coding. What takes some rigor is the data model and the permissions, and the 1-on-1 format is built exactly for that: we start from your exact level. No-code beginner, we go step by step. Seasoned Airtable ops, we jump straight to user groups and the integration with your stack. Softr AI even helps with the small changes.
  • How do permissions and user groups work in Softr?
Softr uses authentication plus user groups to control access. We teach you to set the groups (client, admin, team, plan tier) and the granular permissions so each user only sees the records and pages they should, and can only do the actions you allow. This is the part most no-code portals get wrong and the one that matters most: a portal where one client sees another's data is broken. We test every role against real data before going live.
  • When is Softr NOT the right call?
When the app needs complex custom logic, heavy compute, or a native mobile app published on the stores. Softr is excellent for client portals, internal tools, directories and content apps on structured data. It's the wrong tool for a product with deeply branching logic, heavy real-time processing, or a mobile-first experience. In those cases a real app builder or code wins, and we'll tell you during the training rather than forcing a Softr build that fights the tool.
  • Can I edit my Softr app myself after the training?
Yes, and that's the whole point. Softr's visual editor lets you change text, swap an image, add a block or adjust a list without touching code, and Softr AI helps with small changes. In 1-on-1, we document the data model and the permissions with you, and we walk through the app so nothing is a black box. You own the app and the data source; you leave able to grow it yourself, without depending on an agency for every change.
  • Is the training online or in person?
100% online, over video, 1-on-1. You join the sessions from anywhere, we share your screen, your Softr account and your Airtable live. Sessions are recorded if you want to revisit them. The individual format means real interaction: you're not a number in a webinar of 100, the trainer answers your questions about your setup and your data. That's what makes learning concrete on a tool where everything hinges on your data structure and your permissions.
