What is the best CAPTCHA solving service in 2026?
The right pick depends less on the service than on which CAPTCHA you hit, and whose site it sits on.
Short answer: 2Captcha if you need to cover everything, including odd image CAPTCHAs; CapMonster Cloud if you mostly solve reCAPTCHA or Turnstile tokens and want the lowest price; Bright Data's Web Unlocker if what you really want is the unblocked page, not the token. Before you pay anyone, check two things. If it's your own site you're automating, Google and Cloudflare publish test keys that make every check pass for free. If it's someone else's site, that CAPTCHA is often a clear signal they don't want automated access, and their terms usually say so.
We compared each service's official price list, how it solves (AI, human workers, or both) and what users report about payments, support and refunds. Prices are in US dollars per 1,000 solves, as the vendors list them.

The 8 CAPTCHA solving services side by side
The ranking follows the most common profile: a developer or data team automating QA or an authorized collection of public data, mostly running into reCAPTCHA and Turnstile. Prices are for 1,000 reCAPTCHA v2 solves unless noted. The same service can cost five times more on another CAPTCHA type, so read the card before you pick.

How we compared and ranked
A CAPTCHA solving service takes the challenge (an image, or the site key of a reCAPTCHA or Turnstile plus the page URL), solves it, and sends back an answer: the text it read, or a token your script drops into the form. There are two camps. AI-only services (CapMonster Cloud, CapSolver, NopeCHA) answer fast and cheap on tokens. Services that keep human workers in the loop (Anti-Captcha, 2Captcha as a fallback, DeathByCaptcha) still do better on unusual images, at the cost of slower answers.
We read every service's official price list type by type, because the headline price you see in most roundups (from $0.50) almost always applies to image CAPTCHAs only. We also went through public user reviews on payments, support and refunds, and through third-party performance comparisons, which we treat as trends rather than measurements. A service that publishes no official solve time gets no speed credit from us.

2Captcha
2Captcha sends every CAPTCHA to an AI first, then to a human worker when the AI isn't confident. That fallback is why it ranks first: it covers reCAPTCHA v2, v3 and Enterprise, Turnstile, Amazon, Arkose (FunCaptcha), ALTCHA and image CAPTCHAs, where others stop at the common tokens.
It also has the widest integration list: official libraries for Python, PHP, Java, Ruby, Go, C# and JavaScript, browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox and Edge, and examples for Selenium, Puppeteer and Playwright. The vendor claims around 4,500 compatible apps for its API key, 24/7 support and 99.9% uptime.
Pricing takes some reading. A reCAPTCHA v3 costs $1.45 per 1,000 if you accept a low score (0.3 or less) and $2.99 if you ask for a higher one. Arkose can climb to $50 per 1,000. Practical move: request the lowest score the site accepts, then check your bill by CAPTCHA type after a week.
- AI first, human worker as fallback
- Covers Arkose, ALTCHA, Amazon and images
- You pay only for solved CAPTCHAs
- ✓Widest type coverage in this ranking
- ✓Official libraries in seven languages
- ✓reCAPTCHA v3 price depends on the score you request
- ✗Slower than AI-only services on tokens
- ✗Trustpilot score hidden by the platform
- ✗Pay for its human workers draws criticism
The best pick when you don't yet know which CAPTCHAs you'll run into. If you only solve reCAPTCHA v2 at volume, CapMonster Cloud costs less.
CapMonster Cloud
CapMonster Cloud solves everything with AI, no human workers, and the price shows it: $0.60 per 1,000 reCAPTCHA v2, $0.90 for v3, $0.30 for a text CAPTCHA. It's also the only service here that publishes a success rate for each type: 99% on reCAPTCHA v2, v3 and Turnstile, 97 to 98% on the Enterprise versions and GeeTest.
Its API mirrors the format of other services, so you can switch providers by changing the endpoint and key without rewriting your code. SDKs exist for C#, Python, JavaScript, Go and PHP, plus an extension for Chrome and Firefox.
Two caveats. The vendor publishes no official solve time. And users complain about slow support and lower success on the hardest CAPTCHAs (DataDome isn't solved). Refunds are possible within 3 days, so check your usage on day one to keep that window useful.
- Success rate published for every type
- API compatible with other services
- Refunds possible within 3 days
- ✓Lowest reCAPTCHA v2 price among the top five
- ✓Switch providers without rewriting code
- ✓Cloudflare Bot Challenge covered at $1.30
- ✗Users find support slow
- ✗No official solve time
- ✗Ranks lower on images in a third-party comparison
The best mix of price and reliability for tokens at volume. Keep a second provider for hard images.
Bright Data
Bright Data doesn't sell solves one by one. Its CAPTCHA solver lives inside the Web Unlocker: you request a page, the service picks the IP, solves any CAPTCHA it meets (reCAPTCHA, hCaptcha, Turnstile, AWS WAF, GeeTest, FunCaptcha) and returns the content. It's also on by default in its hosted Browser API.
You pay for successful requests only: $1.50 per 1,000 pay-as-you-go, or $499 a month for 383,000 requests, then $1.30 per 1,000. The 5,000 free requests a month are enough to validate a project before you commit budget.
This model fixes something standalone solvers leave to you: tokens tied to an IP. Because the same infrastructure gets the token and loads the page, there's no IP mismatch to get rejected for. The trade-off: a crowded dashboard, and identity checks before some network access.
- CAPTCHA solved inside the request, no token to manage
- 5,000 free requests a month
- Billed on successful requests only
- ✓No IP mismatch between token and page
- ✓Covers hCaptcha and AWS WAF
- ✓Responsive support and account managers
- ✗Pricier than a plain solver if you only need the token
- ✗Nothing between pay-as-you-go and $499 a month
- ✗Identity checks for some access
The right call when you want the page, not the token. For QA on your own site, it's overkill.
Anti-Captcha
Anti-Captcha has been around since 2007, the longest in this ranking. It relies on human workers, with no cap on parallel threads, and lists a 5-second speed. Its price list also covers less common CAPTCHAs: Friendly Captcha, Prosopo, Amazon WAF, ALTCHA, and custom tasks at $2 per 1,000.
Discounts kick in automatically based on your daily volume: no plan to pick, the price drops as you grow. Extensions run on Chrome, Firefox and Safari, and the API works from Puppeteer, Selenium or iMacros.
Users praise its uptime and simple API. Complaints center on slowdowns at peak hours, some wrong answers reported by a few customers, and a vendor that doesn't reply to negative reviews. On reCAPTCHA v2 it costs more than CapMonster Cloud.
- Running since 2007
- Unlimited parallel threads
- Automatic discounts based on daily volume
- ✓Human solvers for hard CAPTCHAs
- ✓Safari extension, rare in this list
- ✓Broad price list, up to custom tasks
- ✗Slowdowns at peak hours
- ✗reCAPTCHA Enterprise at $5 per 1,000
- ✗No vendor replies to negative reviews
A safe pick for steady volume and hard images. For cheap tokens in bulk, look at CapMonster Cloud.
CapSolver
CapSolver solves with AI and claims under 3 to 5 seconds for most types, under 10 seconds for Cloudflare Challenge. Its real edge is elsewhere: it's the best connected to newer tooling. On top of a REST API, Python and Node.js SDKs and Chrome and Firefox extensions, it offers an n8n integration, an MCP server for AI agents, Browser Use and LangChain support.
Packages claim up to 50% savings over pay-as-you-go, which matters once your volume is steady. The vendor shows CCPA, GDPR and ISO badges, says it opposes illegal use, and offers an abuse report form.
User feedback is mixed. Speed and docs get praise. Complaints hit payments: credits not added after a deposit, unanswered tickets, a strict no-refund policy. Some reCAPTCHA v3 don't pass, a third-party comparison puts it behind others on image and Amazon CAPTCHAs (a trend, not an official figure), and the extension handles fewer types than the API. Start with a small deposit.
- MCP server and n8n integration
- Packages up to 50% below pay-as-you-go
- Abuse reporting offered by the vendor
- ✓Best AI agent integrations in this ranking
- ✓Well-liked API documentation
- ✓Turnstile at $1.20 per 1,000
- ✗Complaints about credits not added
- ✗Strict refund policy
- ✗Images and Amazon weaker in a third-party comparison
The right pick if you build agents or n8n workflows. Deposit small at first, until you've confirmed your credits land.
SolveCaptcha
SolveCaptcha pairs AI for simple CAPTCHAs with a human fallback for the rest, like 2Captcha, but at much lower prices: $0.55 per 1,000 reCAPTCHA v2, $0.80 for Turnstile, $0.35 for images and text. It lists short times (2 to 3 seconds on reCAPTCHA v2, 3 seconds on Turnstile) and also covers DataDome, Friendly Captcha and MTCaptcha at $1.45.
Watch out: the price of standard recognition moves with the service's load, between $0.50 and $1. Your real cost can climb at busy hours. Libraries cover PHP, Python, Java, C#, Ruby, Go, JavaScript and C++, with a Chrome extension.
There are few public user reviews, which makes its reliability harder to judge than the top four. That's why it doesn't rank higher despite its prices.
- Image and text at $0.35 per 1,000
- DataDome covered, rare at this price
- Libraries in eight languages
- ✓Lowest list prices on many types
- ✓Human fallback when the AI fails
- ✓Times listed per type
- ✗Price moves with the service's load
- ✗Few public user reviews
- ✗Arkose up to $50 per 1,000
Worth a look to start cheap. Compare your real bill with CapMonster Cloud after a month before moving all your volume.
DeathByCaptcha
DeathByCaptcha mixes human workers and AI, and bills only correct solves. It claims over 90% correct answers and an average of about 5 seconds. Its prices are low on what it has always done: $0.59 per 1,000 audio CAPTCHAs, $0.99 to $2 for standard ones.
Tokens are the opposite story. reCAPTCHA v2, v3, invisible, GeeTest and Turnstile all cost $2.89 per 1,000, nearly five times CapMonster Cloud on reCAPTCHA v2. It stays relevant for teams already on it, thanks to official clients in ten languages (C, PHP, Python, C#, VB, Java, Perl, Node.js, C++ and AutoIt).
Ask support for the 100 trial credits before you deposit: they're enough to check it reads your CAPTCHAs.
- Only correct answers are billed
- Audio CAPTCHA at $0.59 per 1,000
- Official clients in ten languages
- ✓Cheap on text and audio
- ✓100 trial credits on request
- ✓10% crypto discount
- ✗reCAPTCHA and Turnstile tokens at $2.89 per 1,000
- ✗Price list not broken down by type
- ✗Fewer listed types than 2Captcha
Keep it if your CAPTCHAs are text or audio. For reCAPTCHA or Turnstile, the top four cost less.
NopeCHA
NopeCHA is the only service here that sells a subscription instead of a per-CAPTCHA price. Starter at $4.99 a month gives 2,000 solves a day, Basic at $19.99 gives 20,000, and the quota refills every 23 hours. Quarterly plans exist too ($9.99, $39.99, $99.99 and $199.99). 24/7 support is limited to Enterprise.
The Chrome and Firefox extension is the main entry point, alongside Python and JavaScript SDKs. It's also its weak spot: users rate it around 2.7 out of 5, citing outages of several days, a switch to paid plans that went down badly, and reCAPTCHA solving that comes and goes.
Do the math: if you stay under your quota every day, the flat fee beats per-solve pricing. If you use a fraction of it, you're paying for solves you never make.
- Flat subscription, no top-ups
- Quota refills every 23 hours
- Quarterly plans
- ✓Predictable monthly budget
- ✓Starts at $4.99 a month
- ✓Python and JavaScript SDKs
- ✗Extension poorly rated by its users
- ✗Uneven reCAPTCHA reliability
- ✗Unused daily quota is lost
Handy for a fixed budget and regular use. If reliability matters more than your bill, go with a per-solve service.
What a CAPTCHA solver lets you do, and what it doesn't
Buying a solver is legal, and it's useful in specific cases: QA on your own forms, automating an internal tool, collecting public data from a site that allows it, or helping someone who can't read a visual CAPTCHA. Trouble starts when the CAPTCHA sits on someone else's site, put there precisely to say no. Here are six things to know before you write a line of code. None of this is legal advice.
Authorization is where the line sits
The legal and ethical line with CAPTCHA solving comes down to one question: are you authorized to automate access to that site? On your own property, or with the owner's written consent, you're fine. Against a site that blocks bots, you're in a gray zone at best. In the US, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act is the law most often raised in this context; how it applies depends on the facts, so talk to a lawyer before any project that touches a third-party site.
Terms of service often close the door
Google's terms ban using automated means to access its services without following machine-readable instructions such as robots.txt, and ban working around its protection systems. Solving the CAPTCHAs on its results pages at scale breaks those terms, even when no personal data is involved. Read each site's terms before you start a collection job.
In Europe, a CAPTCHA counts as an objection
If your project touches European residents' data, the bar is higher. France's data protection authority treats a CAPTCHA, like robots.txt, as a way for a site to object to scraping, and says whoever collects the data must respect it. Solving it to grab personal data undermines the legitimate interest basis under the GDPR.
Human solving means human workers
Services that keep humans in the loop rely on a global piecework labor market recruited in low-wage regions, as academic research showed as early as 2010. Worker reviews posted online mostly complain about very low pay. That's not a reason to ban these services, but it's a reason to send only the CAPTCHAs that truly need a human.
Accessibility is the most legitimate use
The W3C points out that visual CAPTCHAs lock out people who are blind, have low vision or dyslexia. WCAG accepts a CAPTCHA only if it offers an alternative form. A public audit in Luxembourg in 2025 found problems on more than half of the CAPTCHAs on the public sites it checked, and a regression in reCAPTCHA v2 for keyboard and audio. An extension like Buster, triggered by the person themselves, meets that need without bulk automation.
A solver doesn't lift a block
If a site shows you a CAPTCHA on every page, the CAPTCHA isn't the problem: your IP or request rate looks suspicious. Paying a solver only delays the block, which usually comes back harder. The better answer is almost always to slow down, use the site's official API if there is one, or ask for access. An official API is often cheaper than solving thousands of challenges an hour.
- Confirm the site is yours or allows automated collection (terms, robots.txt).
- Look for an official API or export before solving anything.
- Never use a solver to create accounts, vote, buy in bulk or get around a refusal.
- Collect only the data you need, and delete the rest right away.
- Send only the CAPTCHAs AI can't read to human solvers.
- Get a lawyer's view as soon as a third-party site is involved.

Six things to do before you pay a solver
In most legitimate cases you don't need a solver at all. If the CAPTCHA is on your own site, its vendor gives you what you need to pass it in QA. If you truly need solving, a few settings keep you from paying for tokens that get rejected.
Alternatives
Use the reCAPTCHA test keys
FreeGoogle publishes a test key pair for reCAPTCHA v2: site key 6LeIxAcTAAAAAJcZVRqyHh71UMIEGNQ_MXjiZKhI and secret key 6LeIxAcTAAAAAGG-vFI1TnRWxMZNFuojJ4WifJWe. With them, every verification passes, and the widget shows a warning so nobody ships them to production. For reCAPTCHA v3, Google recommends creating a separate key for your test environment.

Use Cloudflare Turnstile's dummy keys
FreeCloudflare goes further and lets you pick the scenario. Site key 1x00000000000000000000AA always passes (visible), 2x00000000000000000000AB always fails, 1x00000000000000000000BB passes invisibly, 3x00000000000000000000FF forces an interactive challenge. On the server, secret key 1x0000000000000000000000000000000AA validates the response. Catch: these test secrets accept only the dummy token XXXX.DUMMY.TOKEN.XXXX, not a real one.

Turn the CAPTCHA off in your test environment
Best practiceFor end-to-end runs with Playwright or Selenium, the recommended approach is simple: disable the CAPTCHA in your test environment, swap in test keys, or design your flows so they never trigger it. Solving the real CAPTCHA inside a test suite makes it slow and flaky. For hCaptcha, check its developer docs, which cover test environments. On a third-party login provider, allowlisting the IPs of your test accounts does the same job.
Ask for the official API or access
Long termIf you want a site's data, its first line of defense is often a CAPTCHA, but its first offer is often an API. It gives you clean, stable, authorized data, with no expiring tokens or banned accounts. When there's no API, an email asking for access or an export solves more cases than you'd think, and keeps you on the right side of the terms.
If you solve, keep the same IP and use the token right away
GotchaA reCAPTCHA or Turnstile token is tied to an IP and expires fast. Used from a different IP than the one that got it, the site rejects it. Reused or used too late, you get a timeout-or-duplicate error. Pass your solver the same proxy as your browser, and submit the token as soon as it arrives. Also poll for the result every few seconds: 2Captcha temporarily blocks clients that hammer it in a loop.
On your own site, pick a CAPTCHA that blocks no one
AccessibilityIf you add a CAPTCHA, go with Turnstile or invisible reCAPTCHA v3: they ask nothing of the visitor, and the Luxembourg audit found no accessibility problem with invisible reCAPTCHA v3. Your customers will never need a solver to reach you. For someone stuck on a reCAPTCHA v2 elsewhere, the free Buster extension (GPL v3) solves the audio challenge on request, with a temporary block past a few challenges a day.

CAPTCHA solving · FAQ
Is using a CAPTCHA solving service legal?
Buying and using a solver isn't illegal in itself: it depends on the site. On your own site or to help someone with a disability, you're fine. On a third-party site, the CAPTCHA signals a refusal, the terms of service usually forbid working around it, and US computer misuse law may come into play. In that case, talk to a lawyer first.Which solver is best for Cloudflare Turnstile?
SolveCaptcha lists the lowest price ($0.80 per 1,000), ahead of CapSolver ($1.20), CapMonster Cloud ($1.30, 99% claimed success) and 2Captcha ($1.45). If Turnstile is on your own site, pay none of them: Cloudflare's dummy keys simulate a pass, a fail or an interactive challenge for free. What's the cheapest CAPTCHA solver at high volume?
On reCAPTCHA v2, SolveCaptcha ($0.55 per 1,000) and CapMonster Cloud ($0.60) have the lowest list prices, and CapMonster also publishes a success rate per type. For steady volume, CapSolver's packages claim up to 50% off its pay-as-you-go rate, and Anti-Captcha lowers prices on its own as your daily volume grows. Is AI or human CAPTCHA solving better?
AI for tokens (reCAPTCHA, Turnstile), humans for unusual images. Published comparisons show a clear trend: AI-only services are fast and cheap on tokens but much less accurate on rare image CAPTCHAs. 2Captcha and SolveCaptcha combine both, handing off to a human when the AI isn't sure. Why does the site reject my solved token?
Usually because it was used from a different IP than the one that obtained it, or too late. A token works once, right away. Give your solver the same proxy as your browser. A timeout-or-duplicate error means the token expired or was already used, not that it was solved wrong. Is there a free CAPTCHA solver?
Yes, Buster, an open-source extension for Chrome and Firefox. It solves reCAPTCHA's audio challenge with speech recognition when you click it. It only covers reCAPTCHA, success isn't guaranteed, and it can trigger a temporary block if you chain challenges. On the paid side, Bright Data gives 5,000 requests a month and CapMonster Cloud a small trial balance. How do I handle CAPTCHAs in Playwright or Selenium tests?
Don't solve them, replace them. Put the reCAPTCHA test keys or Turnstile dummy keys in your test environment, or disable the CAPTCHA for that environment only. Your runs become fast, free and stable. Solving the real CAPTCHA in a test suite makes it slow and causes random failures. Can I get refunded for a wrong answer?
Rarely automatically. For most services a wrong answer still counts as solved: only DeathByCaptcha says it bills correct solves only. CapMonster Cloud allows refunds within 3 days through support, and Bright Data counts only successful requests, which sidesteps the issue. CapSolver states a strict no-refund policy, so start there with a small deposit and watch your rejection rate from day one.
