What is the best hotel revenue management software in 2026?

The one that fits your property size and talks cleanly to your PMS. RoomPriceGenie for an independent that wants a simple autopilot, IDeaS or Duetto for a full-service hotel or a portfolio, PriceLabs if you want a price on the page before any sales call.

A revenue management system, or RMS, reads your booking history, upcoming demand, competitor rates and guest segments. From there it forecasts demand and recommends, or pushes on its own, the right rate and restrictions for every night and every room type. It replaces the morning routine of opening Booking.com, checking the hotel down the street and editing rates by hand.

The short answer: RoomPriceGenie is the best pick for an independent hotel of 10 to 100 rooms with no revenue manager on staff. IDeaS and Duetto lead for full-service hotels, resorts, casinos and multi-property groups, with FLYR close behind on analytics. PriceLabs is the only vendor here that posts a price, from $19.99 per room per month. Pricepoint is the lowest-risk start, with a 30-day trial and no card. Atomize makes sense if you already run Mews, and BEONx if you sell heavily through OTAs and wholesalers.

What other rankings skip: seven of these eight vendors publish no price at all. So the real sorting happens elsewhere: how often the tool pushes rates to your PMS, how long the contract runs, whether you get a free trial, and how solid the PMS connection is.

Because almost every vendor sells on quote, the column that matters is "What sets it apart": how often rates go out, how the plan is built, how deep the analysis runs. That tells you whether the tool fits your property.

How we rank

How we compared and scored

The pages that rank for this question are either vendor blogs that only push their own product, or a large directory that shows price ranges built from user surveys, which disagree from one page to the next. None of them says plainly which vendor posts a real price, or which ones lock you in for a year.

We read each vendor's official pricing page and product documentation, then hotelier reviews on hospitality software platforms and the recurring complaints about PMS sync. When a vendor shows no amount, we write "quote only" instead of repeating a third-party figure.

Value for money and depth of features weigh a little more than the rest. They are what separates a tool built for a 20-room inn from an RMS built for a 50-property portfolio.

1
Best revenue management software for independent hotels

RoomPriceGenie

4.3/5

RoomPriceGenie is a German vendor built for small independents. You set a base rate, a floor and a ceiling, and the tool adjusts every night based on demand and competitors, then pushes the rates to your PMS. Hoteliers pick it first for how easy it is and for its support, which almost every review mentions.

There are three plans. Core gives 12 months of recommendations, pushes rates 4 times a day, keeps 3 months of history and handles minimum length of stay only to protect gaps between bookings. Premium moves to 18 months, 24 pushes a day, 2 years of near real-time history and advanced restrictions. Professional adds a dedicated revenue manager, quarterly reviews and white-glove onboarding. Standard onboarding is free, and the vendor lists 70+ integrations.

No price is posted: you go through sales. Above 200 rooms, the offer is custom. The catch is the annual commitment, even when you pay monthly. In the field, two complaints come back: PMS sync that is sometimes slow, and limited control over finer rules such as minimum stay and booking windows. A 25 to 49 room hotel in Germany describes moving from manual daily rate changes to a higher average rate and occupancy, with the sync as its only gripe.

Standout features
  • Base rate, floor and ceiling keep you in control
  • Up to 24 rate pushes a day on Premium
  • 70+ PMS and channel manager integrations
  • Dedicated revenue manager on Professional
+Pros
  • ✓Easiest tool in this ranking to get started
  • ✓Fast support, praised in reviews
  • ✓Free standard onboarding
−Cons
  • ✗Annual contract
  • ✗Only 4 rate pushes a day on Core
  • ✗Few fine controls on minimum stay
Verdict

The best start for an independent that wants to stop editing rates by hand. Ask for Premium if you see a lot of last-minute demand: 4 pushes a day is thin on a compression night.

2
Best low-risk revenue management software to start with

Pricepoint

4.2/5

Pricepoint sells one plan per property, everything included. No tiers to decode: real-time pricing, an AI assistant, an AI strategy builder, market insights, event detection, forecasting (ForecastIQ), a BI module (DataHub), API access and email and chat support. It is the easiest offer in this ranking to read.

The price depends on location, property type and size, counted in rooms, beds or pitches. You get it from a calculator on the site, with no amount shown upfront. You pay monthly, or annually with 12% off, in US dollars outside the EU and the UK. Groups pay a license per property.

Its best argument: a 30-day trial with no card, then a subscription you can cancel. Pricepoint connects to Mews, Oracle, apaleo, Cloudbeds, SiteMinder, Little Hotelier, Guesty, Stayntouch, Beds24, Hostaway, Clock PMS+ and RoomCloud, several dozen PMS and channel managers in all. What sets it apart is that it also covers hostels and campgrounds, which enterprise RMS vendors ignore.

Standout features
  • One plan, every feature included
  • 30-day trial with no card
  • Hostels and campgrounds supported
  • 12% off on annual billing
+Pros
  • ✓Cancel anytime, no long contract
  • ✓No plan comparison to agonize over
  • ✓Forecasting and event detection included
−Cons
  • ✗Price visible only after the calculator
  • ✗No dedicated revenue manager advertised
  • ✗Email and chat support, no phone line advertised
Verdict

The safest way to run an RMS on your real PMS connection for a month. If the trial delivers, switch to annual billing for the 12% discount.

Best hotel revenue management software with a posted price

PriceLabs

4.1/5

PriceLabs comes from the short-term rental world and opened up to independent hotels. It is the only vendor in this ranking that posts an amount: from $19.99 per room per month, with no contract. You can benchmark against a comp set mixing hotels and rentals, set minimum stay rules by season or by day, run several calendars and follow pickup in reports you can export to CSV. If you also run rentals, see our vacation rental software ranking.

The trap is sync. By default PriceLabs pushes your rates to the PMS once a day, and extra syncs are paid. For a downtown hotel where demand moves during the day, that is too little; for a country inn, it is often enough. It connects to Apaleo, Cloudbeds, MiniHotel, Mews, Octorate and 60+ PMS and channel managers.

Public reviews, mostly from short-term rental hosts, praise onboarding. Complaints focus on billing that feels unclear, settings that went wrong during the trial, and no phone support, though written support runs 24/7.

Standout features
  • The only posted price here: from $19.99 per room
  • No contract
  • Comp sets mixing hotels and short-term rentals
  • 24/7 written support
+Pros
  • ✓You know your budget before the demo
  • ✓A natural fit for mixed properties
  • ✓Full 30-day trial
−Cons
  • ✗One sync a day by default
  • ✗Billing called unclear in reviews
  • ✗No phone support
Verdict

The most transparent on price, and a solid tool for a small, steady property. Price out the extra syncs before you sign if your demand moves within the day.

4
Best revenue management software for hotels on Mews

Atomize

4.0/5

Atomize is a real-time RMS acquired by Mews. Its autopilot mode accepts price recommendations on its own, with no daily sign-off. Hotelier reviews place it more with larger hotels and chains, for its forecasting and multi-property handling, while small independents lean toward RoomPriceGenie's simplicity.

The detail that changes everything for a Mews customer: the PMS Pro plan includes real-time pricing with autopilot optimization up to 24 months ahead, the engine that came with the Atomize acquisition. If you are already on Mews Pro, you may have an RMS without knowing it, and comparing a separate tool becomes a question of features, not price. Mews prices per room and shows no amount.

Atomize also connects to Apaleo, Protel, Oracle, Clock and Visual Matrix. But it makes the most sense on Mews, since an RMS that fights with its PMS costs more in labor than it earns.

Standout features
  • Real-time rates, autopilot up to 24 months out
  • Included in the Mews Pro plan
  • Also connects to Apaleo, Protel, Oracle, Clock
  • Multi-property forecasting
+Pros
  • ✓No second contract if you are on Mews Pro
  • ✓Continuous rate updates
  • ✓Built for chains
−Cons
  • ✗No amount shown
  • ✗Less simple than tools built for small independents
  • ✗Its value depends on your PMS
Verdict

If your hotel runs on Mews, check what your plan already includes before signing a separate RMS. Otherwise it is a strong tool for a group, less obvious for a 20-room property.

5
Best revenue management software for large hotels

IDeaS G3 RMS

4.0/5

IDeaS, a SAS company, is the long-standing benchmark for enterprise RMS. G3 RMS sets rates and inventory controls by room type, forecasts unconstrained demand and each segment's willingness to pay, and manages restrictions and overbooking. The vendor lists 102 integrations and more than 34,000 hotelier clients, from economy hotels to casinos, resorts, extended stay, parking and cruise.

In hotelier rankings, IDeaS leads for large hotels (100 to 499 rooms) and enterprise portfolios of 500+ rooms. Its strengths are forecasting and automation. Its weak spot is clear: cost. On a major hospitality review platform, more than half of the comments about price are negative, especially for large portfolios.

IDeaS posts no price and goes through a demo. It is not a tool to drop into a 30-room hotel alone: it shines with someone who can read its forecasts and tune its settings.

Standout features
  • Forecasts of demand and willingness to pay
  • Inventory controls and overbooking
  • 102 integrations listed
  • Wide range of segments: casino, resort, cruise, parking
+Pros
  • ✓Deepest tool in this ranking
  • ✓Built for portfolios and high volume
  • ✓Broad integration ecosystem
−Cons
  • ✗Cost criticized by hoteliers
  • ✗Needs a revenue manager to pay off
  • ✗No posted price, demo required
Verdict

The depth pick for a large hotel or a structured portfolio. For an independent with no revenue manager, it means paying for features nobody will use.

6
Best revenue management software for segment pricing

Duetto

3.9/5

Duetto sells GameChanger, a pricing application that sets rates by segment, channel and room type in real time. Its AutoPilot mode optimizes rates inside rules the hotel defines, and Enterprise Rate Guidelines set guardrails shared across a whole group. Leadership sets the frame, the automation works inside it.

Duetto is well known among casinos and groups, and sits near the top of hotelier rankings for mid-size (50 to 99 rooms), large and enterprise properties. It is at the premium end of the market and shows no price.

Its strength is also its limit: pricing by segment and channel assumes well-defined segments and someone to watch them. For an independent selling mostly through Booking.com and direct, that is a lot of precision for little difference.

Standout features
  • Rates by segment, channel and room type
  • AutoPilot inside hotel-defined rules
  • Group-wide rate guardrails
  • Strong with casinos and resorts
+Pros
  • ✓Fine control over automation
  • ✓Built for groups
  • ✓Real-time pricing
−Cons
  • ✗Premium, quote only
  • ✗Oversized for a small hotel
  • ✗Needs well-tracked segments
Verdict

The right tool when several hotels must follow one pricing policy without losing their autonomy. Too fine-grained for a hotel that sells on two channels.

7
Best revenue management software for net profitability

BEONx

3.9/5

BEONx is a Seville-based vendor that splits its offer into stackable "agents". Agent 1 RevPAR, on autopilot, handles forecasting, rates by room type and segment, minimum stay and closeout recommendations, overbooking, a group quoting tool and automatic publishing within safety limits. It also benchmarks competitors with a proprietary quality index.

Agent 2 Net RevPAR is the real difference: it factors in cost of acquisition by channel, profitability per OTA, wholesaler contracts, allotments and group displacement. You stop looking only at a room's price and start looking at what it earns once the commission is paid. Two more agents are listed as coming soon.

Faster updates are paid add-ons: hourly recommendations with LIVE, every 15 minutes with REAL TIME. The PMS, channel manager and CRS connection can be one-way or two-way. Hotelier comparisons place it with large and multi-property hotels, while RoomPriceGenie stays the small-property pick.

Standout features
  • Net revenue by channel, after commission
  • Automatic publishing within safety limits
  • Group quoting and wholesaler contracts
  • Recommendations every 15 minutes as an add-on
+Pros
  • ✓The only one that thinks in net profit
  • ✓Guardrails built into the autopilot
  • ✓Spanish vendor based in Seville
−Cons
  • ✗High frequency only as a paid add-on
  • ✗Quote only
  • ✗A poor fit for very small hotels
Verdict

The pick for a hotel that sells heavily through OTAs and wholesalers and wants to know what each channel really leaves behind. Ask for add-on pricing in the first demo.

8
Best revenue management software for analytics

FLYR Hospitality

3.8/5

FLYR Hospitality is the former Pace Revenue, acquired by FLYR Labs. It brings together an RMS, BI, group pricing and forecasting, with an autopilot mode and custom dashboards. The vendor claims more than 1,500 properties in 45 countries.

In hotelier rankings FLYR shows up at every size, from small hotels to enterprise portfolios of 500+ rooms. Its edge is analytics: a GM who wants to understand the numbers finds reports next to rates. It is listed on the Mews marketplace.

Pricing depends on size and modules, on quote, and several directories call it expensive. For a small independent that only wants rates to move on their own, the BI side may go unused.

Standout features
  • RMS, BI and group pricing together
  • Autopilot mode
  • Custom dashboards
  • Listed on the Mews marketplace
+Pros
  • ✓Richer analytics than most
  • ✓Works from small hotels to groups
  • ✓Group pricing built in
−Cons
  • ✗Called expensive by directories
  • ✗Modules stack up with needs
  • ✗Quote only
Verdict

A good pick if you want to understand your numbers as much as automate them. Get each module quoted separately so you pay only for what you use.

Real cost

What a hotel RMS really costs

Seven of eight vendors post no price. To compare anyway, look at how they bill and what pushes the number up. These are the six things that weigh most on your invoice.

Per room

The most common model: a fee per room per month. PriceLabs posts it (from $19.99), Mews also prices per room without a public amount. Your budget follows your room count, not your revenue.

Percentage of revenue

Some RMS take a share of rooms revenue, others charge flat tiers. A percentage feels painless in low season and bites in high season: always ask for a full-year simulation.

Setup fees

They range from zero to several thousand dollars. Tools for independents often charge none: RoomPriceGenie's standard onboarding is free. With enterprise RMS vendors, ask on the first call.

Rate push frequency

It is priced. RoomPriceGenie goes from 4 pushes a day on Core to 24 on Premium. PriceLabs syncs once a day and charges for more. BEONx sells hourly or 15-minute updates as add-ons.

Contract length

RoomPriceGenie commits you for a year, even paid monthly. PriceLabs and Pricepoint can be canceled. A year locked into a tool that syncs badly with your PMS is a year of fixing rates by hand.

Staff time

A poorly used enterprise RMS costs twice: the subscription and the hours to tune it. IDeaS or Duetto assume someone who follows the forecasts. Without that person, a simpler tool often earns more.

  • Ask for a price for your exact room count, not a range
  • Get the included rate push frequency in writing
  • Check contract length and cancellation notice
  • Ask about setup or PMS connection fees
How to choose

How to choose your hotel revenue management software

Ask these questions in order. The first two usually leave you with two or three names.

How many rooms do you have?

Under 50: RoomPriceGenie, Pricepoint or PriceLabs. From 50 to 99: RoomPriceGenie, BEONx, Duetto or IDeaS depending on your team. Above 100 and for portfolios: IDeaS, Duetto, BEONx or FLYR.

Do you have a revenue manager?

Without one, pick a tool that runs on its own with simple rules: RoomPriceGenie or Pricepoint. With one, an enterprise RMS gives them forecasts they can actually use.

Which PMS do you run?

This question prevents the most disappointment. On Mews, check the Pro plan and Atomize first. Elsewhere, confirm your PMS is on the vendor's list and ask for a reference hotel on the same PMS.

Approve or let it run?

Every tool here has an automatic mode. The difference is the guardrails: floor and ceiling at RoomPriceGenie, enterprise rules at Duetto, safety limits at BEONx. Pick the tool whose guardrails you understand.

Where do your bookings come from?

If OTAs and wholesalers weigh heavily, BEONx's net profit by channel changes the picture. If you sell mostly direct and on two channels, a well-tuned rate is enough.

Can you try before you sign?

Pricepoint and PriceLabs offer 30 days with no card, RoomPriceGenie 14 days. Enterprise RMS vendors go through a demo: ask for a pilot on one property.

  • Your PMS and channel manager are on the integration list
  • You can set a floor and a ceiling rate
  • You can see why the tool suggests a rate for a date
  • You can force a rate push after a strategy change

FAQ · 9 questions

Hotel revenue management · FAQ

  • How much does hotel revenue management software cost?
Almost always quote only: of the eight systems in this ranking, only PriceLabs posts a price, from $19.99 per room per month. The others bill per room, as a share of rooms revenue or in tiers. Always ask for a price for your exact room count, plus any setup fee.
  • Does a small hotel really need an RMS?
Yes, once you change rates more than once a week, or never change them for lack of time. A simple tool like RoomPriceGenie or Pricepoint replaces the morning routine. Under about ten rooms with steady demand, seasonal rate rules in your PMS may be enough.
  • Can an RMS replace a revenue manager?
Not fully. It handles the daily math faster and better than a person, but it does not set your strategy: positioning, segments, group contracts. For an independent, the tool is often enough. For a large hotel, it makes the revenue manager more effective rather than redundant.
  • What is the difference between an RMS, a PMS and a channel manager?
The PMS runs the hotel day to day: reservations, rooms, folios. The channel manager distributes your rates and availability to OTAs. The RMS decides the rate, then sends it to the PMS or channel manager, which publish it everywhere.
  • What is the difference between an RMS and a rate shopper?
A rate shopper shows you competitor rates without deciding anything. An RMS uses those rates along with your demand and history to suggest or apply a price. Lighthouse started as a rate shopper before adding price recommendations.
  • Can I keep control of my rates with an automated RMS?
Yes, if you set a corridor: a floor and a ceiling rate. Good tools also show why they suggest a rate for a given date and let you override by hand. Start in recommendation mode for a few weeks, then switch to autopilot.
  • How often should an RMS update rates?
It depends on your demand. A downtown hotel with same-day bookings benefits from hourly pushes. A leisure property booked far ahead does fine with a few pushes a day. RoomPriceGenie goes from 4 to 24 pushes, PriceLabs from one daily sync to paid extra syncs.
  • How do I know if an RMS pays off for my hotel?
Compare ADR, occupancy and RevPAR with the same period last year, and add the time saved every morning. A 30-day trial cannot judge a full season, but it does show whether rates reach your PMS reliably.
  • Which RMS is best for a hotel group in the US?
IDeaS and Duetto are the usual shortlist for full-service hotels and portfolios, with FLYR if analytics matter most. Ask each for a pilot on one property and for references on your PMS before signing a multi-property deal.
