How much does RocketReach cost?
Every plan on the official US price list, what each one actually unlocks, and what a year costs at your volume.
Short answer: in the US, Essentials costs $69 a month or $399 a year, Pro $119 or $899, and Ultimate $209 or $1,699, before tax. Annual billing cuts the monthly cost by 32% to 51% depending on the plan.
The sticker price hides the real limits. Essentials only reveals emails; phone numbers start on Pro. On annual plans, lookups are unlimited but exports (CSV downloads, CRM pushes, API calls) are capped at 1,200 a year on Essentials. We compared the official price list, the rollover and refund rules, and five alternatives so you know which plan to buy and when it stops making sense.
The RocketReach button on this page is an affiliate link: you pay the official list price. The ranking is editorial: a sponsored placement is always labeled on its card, and no affiliate link changes a score.
What each RocketReach plan costs
Three individual plans, each billed monthly or annually. The model flips between the two. Monthly, you buy a number of lookups (one lookup reveals a person's email or phone). Annually, lookups become unlimited and your exports become the limit. An export is any contact that leaves RocketReach: a CSV download, a push to your CRM, a bulk lookup or an API call.

Prices read from RocketReach's official product catalog, the one rocketreach.co/pricing loads, for a US visitor. Visitors from the UK see $56, $105 and $210 a month; visitors from France or Spain see $39, $79 and $169. Unlimited annual lookups follow a fair use policy capped at 10,000 a month. An individual plan covers one person.
RocketReach is priced in steps
All three plans search the same contact database. What changes is the type of data, how many contacts you can take out, and which tools you can connect. Here's where the real price jumps are.
Phone numbers: the $50 step
Essentials only reveals emails. Mobile and direct dials need Pro, which adds $50 a month on monthly billing or $500 a year on annual. If your reps cold call, Essentials isn't an option, even to start.
Exports: the real annual cap
On annual plans, searching costs nothing extra; exporting does. Essentials gives you 1,200 exports a year, Pro 3,600, Ultimate 20,000. Every contact pushed to your CRM, downloaded as a CSV or pulled through the API uses one, and unused exports don't carry into the next year.
CRM sync: Pro and up
Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, Bullhorn and Zapier only open on Pro. On Essentials you work through CSV exports or the API, which every plan includes. Custom Salesforce field mapping waits for Ultimate.
Intent data and SSO: Ultimate
Intent data (companies researching a topic right now), healthcare data, SSO and shared suppression lists are Ultimate only. Those are needs of an organized sales team, rarely of a solo founder.
- Email outreach only? Essentials is enough.
- Cold calling? Pro at minimum.
- Native CRM sync without Zapier? Pro at minimum.
- More than 3,600 contacts a year? Price Ultimate annual.
- Need buying signals? Ultimate, or a different tool.
How we worked out the real cost
RocketReach's pricing page renders in JavaScript and changes by country, so we read the official product catalog it loads, for the US, the UK and Europe, then the pricing-page FAQ, the unlimited lookups FAQ and the refund policy. We then turned each plan into a price per exported contact, because that's what you're actually buying. User feedback (Trustpilot, forums, G2 and Capterra reviews) tells us where the traps are, never what the prices are.

What you pay per contact, by use case
Three profiles on annual billing (the cheapest), US pricing. The number to watch is the price per exported contact: that's the one to compare against other tools.
US dollars before tax. Price per contact = annual price divided by the year's exports.
Solo, emails
Up to 100 contacts a month
- Essentials annual, 1,200 exports
- $0.33 per exported contact
- Monthly: $69 for 100, so $0.69
Rep, emails and phones
Up to 300 contacts a month
- Pro annual, 3,600 exports
- $0.25 per contact, phone included
- Monthly: $119 for 250, so $0.48
Outbound team
1,500+ contacts a month
- Team Ultimate annual, 20,000 exports
- $0.08 per exported contact
- Five seats: $8,070 a year
Calculated from the official US price list. From Europe, the same profiles come to $0.19, $0.17 and $0.07 per contact. Price per contact assumes you use every export; use half and it doubles. On monthly plans, unused lookups roll over for up to 12 months, which limits the waste.
The billing traps, and how to avoid them
RocketReach has a low user score (1.9 out of 5 across the reviews we collected), and most complaints are about money before data. Here are the four situations that keep coming up, and the fix for each.
The traps
The annual renewal lands with no reminder
Trap #1Every paid plan auto-renews, and the official policy rules out refunds once a period has started. On Trustpilot (1.2 out of 5, over 1,100 reviews), the most common complaint is an annual renewal charged without warning and then refused for a refund. One reviewer, Tiffany, wrote: "My annual subscription automatically renewed for more than $600 with no advance warning".
The fix: cancel right after you pay if you aren't sure you'll renew. Cancellation takes effect at the next cycle, so you keep access for the full year.

- none

The API and CRM sync eat your exports
Trap #2Annual lookups are unlimited, which feels like you have everything. But the API, bulk lookups, list uploads, CSV downloads and CRM exports all use export credits. A badly scoped auto-sync can drain the 1,200 exports on Essentials in a few weeks.
The fix: reveal contacts inside RocketReach, filter them, and only export the ones you'll actually reach out to.
- Essentials
- 1,200 exports/yr
- Pro
- 3,600 exports/yr
Switching to annual wipes your rollover
Trap #3On monthly plans, unused lookups pile up for up to 12 months. That's a real perk most pricing articles miss. But rollover only exists on monthly plans: it's gone if you cancel, and it doesn't follow you to an ineligible plan.
The fix: if you've built up a stock of rolled-over lookups, spend it before switching to annual.
- Rollover
- 12 months, monthly only
- Order
- oldest used first
Your colleague abroad pays a different price
Trap #4RocketReach shows a price list per country. A US visitor sees Essentials at $399 a year, a visitor from France at $229, from Mexico at $329. Budget from a screenshot sent by a colleague in another country and you'll be off.
The fix: open the pricing page from your company's billing country and screenshot the plan before you pay.
- US
- $399 a year
- Europe
- $229 a year
Entry prices across the alternatives
Three ways to pay for B2B contact data. RocketReach per user and per export, Apollo per user with credits and sequences, Lusha with shared credits.

RocketReach Essentials
Emails, per exported contact
$69 month-to-month
- Emails only, 1,200 exports a year
- Phone numbers from $75/mo (Pro)
- API included from the entry plan
Apollo.io Basic
Database, sequences, credits
$65 month-to-month
- Free plan with no time limit
- Sequences and light CRM included
- Credits reset every cycle
Lusha Starter
Email and phone credits
$49.90 month-to-month
- Free: 40 credits a month
- 4,800 credits a year on annual
- Credits shared between emails and phones
Prices read on each vendor's official pricing page. For emails only, RocketReach and Apollo land close; once you add phone numbers, RocketReach Pro wins on volume: a Lusha phone reveal costs 5 credits, so Starter annual covers 960 numbers at most against 3,600 exports on Pro. ZoomInfo sells on quote and targets large teams.
Five alternatives, one card each
If the export model or the refund policy puts you off, here are the tools we reviewed, with their official price and their limit.
The alternatives
Apollo.io: data and outreach in one subscription
Score 4.3For the rep who doesn't yet pay for an email tool: Apollo bundles the contact database, email sequences and a light CRM. The free plan has no time limit, and Basic costs $49 per user per month billed annually ($65 monthly).
Its limit: credits don't roll over between cycles, and full API access sits on the custom plan.

- Basic
- $49/mo billed annually
Lusha: phone numbers on a small budget
Score 3.7For the solo seller who wants phone numbers without paying for RocketReach Pro: the free plan gives 40 credits a month, and Starter costs $49.90 a month or $37.45 billed annually, with 4,800 credits over the year. An email costs 1 credit, a phone number 5.
Its limit: 400 credits a month go fast if you enrich whole lists, and the next tier, Pro, costs $52.45 a month billed annually.
- Free
- 40 credits/mo
- Starter
- $37.45/mo billed annually
Bookyourdata: buy a list, skip the subscription
Score 3.8For a one-off list: $99 for 250 contacts, with no subscription and no auto-renewal. It's the direct answer to RocketReach's renewal trap.
Its limit: no extension to look people up as you browse, and a higher price per contact than a well-used annual plan.

Kaspr: for prospects in Europe
Billed in eurosFor a US team selling into Europe from LinkedIn: Kaspr bills in euros, includes unlimited B2B emails from Starter (€45 or €59 per user per month depending on commitment) and 100 phone credits a month. The free plan includes 5 phone credits.
Its limit: it's built around LinkedIn first, and the Organization package needs at least 5 users on annual billing.

- 5 phone credits
- Starter
- from €45/mo
ZoomInfo: big teams and buying signals
Score 3.6For sales teams of several dozen reps who want intent data, org charts and company data in one place. Pricing is by quote, after a call with sales.

So, is RocketReach worth the price?
Our score: 2.9 out of 5. The price list itself is fair for emails. The rules around it are what cost you.
Good deal if…
You do email outreach on your own and take out fewer than 100 contacts a month. At $399 a year, Essentials comes to $0.33 a contact, API included. On monthly billing, the 12-month rollover protects you from slow months.
Bad deal if…
You need reliable phone numbers, buying signals, or a continuous CRM sync that burns exports. There, Lusha for phones and Apollo for an all-in-one setup make a better case.
Our advice
Use the 50-lookup trial on your own target accounts. If the data holds up, take one month on monthly billing, then go annual. And cancel on the day you pay if you aren't certain you'll renew.
- Run the trial on your real target list.
- Go annual only after a solid first month.
- Export only the contacts you'll call or email.
- Put the renewal date in your calendar.
- Screenshot the price list at checkout.

What people ask about RocketReach pricing
How much does RocketReach cost per month?
In the US, RocketReach costs $69 a month on Essentials, $119 on Pro and $209 on Ultimate, before tax. Billed annually it's $399, $899 and $1,699 a year, which works out to $34, $75 and $142 a month. Monthly plans give you 100, 250 or 1,000 lookups a month; annual plans give unlimited lookups but cap your exports. Why do some sites show RocketReach at $39 or $229?
Because RocketReach shows a different price list depending on where you visit from. Visitors from France or Spain see Essentials at $39 a month or $229 a year, while US visitors see $69 or $399. Most pricing articles mix the two, which is why the numbers online never match. The price that counts is the one on your screen at checkout. Is RocketReach free?
Creating an account is free and comes with a few lookups, no credit card required; the exact number varies by account. The paid-plan trial is more useful: every plan includes 50 lookups during the trial, and Pro or Ultimate trials include 50 phone lookups. You can cancel before the trial end date shown at signup and you won't be charged.Do unused RocketReach lookups roll over?
Yes, on monthly plans. Essentials, Pro and Ultimate monthly plans accumulate up to 12 months of unused lookups, used oldest first. You lose the rollover if you cancel or move to a plan that isn't eligible, including annual billing. Annual plans don't need it for lookups, which are unlimited, but unused annual exports don't carry over.Am I charged when a lookup finds nothing?
No. RocketReach only uses a lookup when it finds and verifies an email or phone number; otherwise the credit comes back, sometimes after up to an hour. That beats tools that bill every attempt. A verified address can still bounce, though, so run your list through a cleaner before a big send.Is the RocketReach API included in every plan?
Yes. The official plan list shows MCP and API access starting on Essentials. The catch is that every contact pulled through the API uses an export, not a lookup. With 1,200 exports a year on Essentials, an integration that enriches 200 records a month burns through the quota in six months. Can I get a refund from RocketReach?
No. The official policy says payments are non-refundable once a subscription has started, renewals included. Every paid plan auto-renews, and cancellation takes effect at the next billing cycle, so you keep access until the period ends. If you're unsure about renewing, cancel right after you pay: you lose nothing and can't be caught out.How much does RocketReach cost for a team?
Team plans are billed per seat, about 5% below US individual pricing: $379, $854 and $1,614 per seat per year for Team Essentials, Pro and Ultimate, or $66, $113 and $199 a month. Five reps on Team Pro annual pay $4,270 a year.Is RocketReach cheaper than Apollo or Lusha?
For emails only, roughly the same: Essentials is $34 a month billed annually, Apollo Basic $49 per user. Once you need phone numbers, Lusha Starter at $37.45 a month billed annually is cheaper than RocketReach Pro at $75. Apollo also bundles sequences and a light CRM, which matters if you don't already pay for an email tool.
