Overview

What changes when Claude searches idealista for you

You stop juggling filters and browser tabs. Describe the home you want in plain English, and Claude runs the search on idealista, then shows matching listings in a carousel you can open up into a map. There is no idealista account to link: the publisher says no sign-in is needed at all.

Shortlist rentals in one neighbourhood. A relocating engineer asks for a two-bedroom near Rome's metro, under a set monthly rent. search_properties lays the matches out in a carousel and a map, and a follow-up like "newest first" re-sorts them.

Sanity-check a listing someone sent you. Paste an idealista link for a flat in Porto and ask what looks good or bad about it. property_detail fetches the current ad, with photos and location, and no fresh search.

Learn how to list your own place. get_howto draws on idealista's help pages to walk you through the steps.

What it will not do: by default, its directory sheet exposes only read tools. The publisher states the app never posts, edits or deletes listings, does not handle saved favourites, alerts or messages, and completes no transactions. Nothing runs on its own either: Claude only searches while it is answering you. To see how other publishers document their connectors, browse the Integrations hub.

Vocabulary

Five terms before you connect

The vocabulary of this connector in one minute.

Connector
The link you set up once between Claude and an outside service, so Claude can use it while it answers you.
Tool
One named action a connector hands to Claude. Claude picks which ones to call by itself, and the directory lists them by name.
Authorization
The service's own sign-in screen, where you grant Claude access. The publisher says idealista asks for none.
Approval
The confirmation Claude waits for before changing an account, shown in the conversation at the moment it matters.
MCP
The shared standard connectors run on: it is what lets an assistant like Claude talk to an outside service such as idealista.
Connect

Connect idealista to Claude in three steps

  1. 01

    Find idealista

Open Claude's settings, go to Customize, then Connectors, and look up idealista in the directory. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner has to switch it on for the organization first.

  2. 02

    Start the connection

Click Connect on its row, then turn idealista on for your chat from the connectors menu. If the link ever breaks, hit Disconnect and connect again: that is the documented way to repair it.

  3. 03

    Check what access covers

For services with accounts, this is where you read the authorization screen before accepting. Here the publisher says no idealista login or account linking is required, so you can go straight to your first question.

Tools

The 4 tools of the idealista connector

idealista gives Claude 4 tools: 4 that read your account, 0 that change something in it.

Every tool below is described in idealista's own documentation for Claude. Names stay exactly as Claude shows them.

What Claude looks up (4)

4 tools

Four tools that search or explain. The publisher lists every one of them as read-only.

Approvals

What Claude asks before it acts

By default, Claude stops and asks for your go-ahead before each action it takes on an account for someone. With idealista, all four tools only search or explain.

No source says whether Claude asks before running an idealista search, so the default rule is the reference. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, owners decide whether a member may let some actions through without confirming each time. They can also cap what a connector does for the whole organization, and nobody gets around that setting from a personal account. Claude never gets more than the person who connected it.

Plans

Which Claude plans include idealista

None of the 819 sheets in the official directory shows availability by plan. Connector by connector, that information is not published anywhere.

The general rule is sourced: remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner enables the connector before members can sign in to it. For idealista's current state, check its sheet in the official directory, the only place that shows it for your own account.

Limits

Where the idealista connector stops

A connector is not an automation. Claude calls these tools while it answers you, so nothing pings you when a new listing goes live.

By default, its sheet exposes only read tools, and that is an observed floor, not a promise: an admin can open up actions that no public sheet lists. Only the publisher, idealista, documents this connector; Anthropic has no page of its own on it. The directory badge is not a security audit, and Anthropic does not guarantee tools behave as described, so only connect a tool when you know who publishes it.

FAQ

Claude idealista connector questions

01What can Claude do with the idealista connector?
Claude searches idealista for homes to buy or rent while it answers you. Its four tools run a search shown as a carousel and a map, open one listing from its link or ID, explain how to publish an ad based on the site's help pages, and describe what the app can do. You then narrow results in everyday language, for instance by asking for the cheapest options first or only places with a garden.
02Can Claude post or edit a listing on idealista?
No tool on the sheet does that. The publisher says every tool is read-only and that the app never publishes, edits or deletes listings. Treat this as what the sheet shows by default, not a permanent guarantee: an admin can open up actions that appear on no public sheet. If you want to list your property, Claude can only explain the steps, and you complete them yourself on the idealista website.
03Does Claude ask before using idealista?
The general rule is that Claude asks for confirmation before each action it takes on an account for someone. No source describes a confirmation tied to a specific idealista tool, so the default rule is the reference, even though all four tools only search or explain. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, owners decide whether members may let some actions through without approving each one, and they can restrict the connector for the whole organization.
04Which Claude plans give access to idealista?
No official source publishes plan availability connector by connector, and none of the 819 directory sheets shows it. The published general rule says remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile, with an Owner or Primary Owner switching them on first for Team and Enterprise. Check the idealista sheet in the directory while signed in: it is the only place that shows the real state for your account.
05Can Claude see my idealista favourites or alerts?
No. The publisher says no idealista login or account linking is needed, and that the app does not handle favourites, alerts or messages. Search results and listing details reflect what is currently available on idealista at the moment you ask. Inside the chat, Claude can still open any listing you point to, with price, size, rooms, features, photos, location and status, and re-sort a search cheapest or newest first, with the same sorting options as the website.
06Does the idealista connector cover the UK or France?
No, it does not. The publisher's documentation limits coverage to three countries: Spain, Italy and Portugal. The language of your question is not a barrier, though: you can write in Spanish, English, Italian or Portuguese, and the country is set by the place you mention. A request about Florence typed in English works fine, while a search in Manchester or Lyon falls completely outside what the app covers, whatever language you use.
07Claude or an automation tool for idealista?
They do different jobs. Claude with idealista is for searching in conversation: you describe what you need, it checks listings at the moment you talk to it, and you refine and compare side by side. An automation tool is built to run a process in the background without you watching. The connector triggers nothing by itself, so no new listing reaches you until you ask Claude about it in a chat.
