What changes when Claude can reach your MailerLite
Your newsletter admin stops living in a pile of dashboard tabs. You tell Claude what the next campaign should say and who should get it, and it calls the MailerLite tools it needs while it answers: it drafts, files subscribers into groups, and reads back how the last send went. The publisher's own documentation describes 40 of the 45 tools on the sheet.
From idea to scheduled campaign. create_campaign sets up a regular, A/B or resend campaign, update_campaign adjusts its name, subject, sender or content, and schedule_campaign books the send. There is no tool that fires a campaign on the spot: scheduling is the way out, and cancel_campaign pulls a scheduled one back.
Keep the list clean. add_subscriber adds a contact or refreshes an existing one, assign_subscriber_to_group files them in the right group, and import_subscribers_to_group loads a whole batch. list_subscribers filters by status, bounced or junk included.
Read the results without exporting. get_campaign_subscribers shows who received a campaign, get_subscriber_activity the history of one contact, and get_automation_activity how people move through an automation.
Now what the directory sheet does not tell you. Five of its names, including forget_subscriber and list_groups, are missing from MailerLite's tool list. MailerLite's own setup guide adds the service as a custom connector, not through the directory entry. And nothing runs by itself: no tool starts when someone subscribes. The vocabulary in one minute
Five words you will meet while plugging MailerLite into Claude.

- The link you set up once between Claude and an account you already own, so Claude can work in that account while it answers you.

- One named action a connector opens to Claude. It picks the ones it needs by itself, and the directory sheet lists them by name.

- The sign-in screen of the service itself, where you hand Claude the access it will use. Granted once per person, and you can take it back.
- Approval
- The confirmation Claude waits for before it goes through with something that changes your account, shown in the chat when it matters.
- MCP
- The shared standard connectors are built on. It is what lets an assistant like Claude talk to an outside service such as MailerLite.
Connect MailerLite to Claude in three steps

Find MailerLite in Claude
In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, and look for MailerLite in the list. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner has to switch the connector on first, before each member can sign in.

Start the connection
Click Connect on the MailerLite row, then log in to MailerLite in the window MailerLite opens itself. If the link ever breaks, use Disconnect and connect again from the same place.

Read the authorization screen
Read MailerLite's authorization screen before you accept. It belongs to MailerLite, not to Claude, and it sets what the access covers. You can take that access back later from your MailerLite account.

This name sits on the directory sheet, yet MailerLite's own tool list, read on 30 September 2026, does not include it. No official source describes it, so this page says nothing more about what it does.
get_single_import
Same silence here: no official source describes this name, which appears on the sheet and not in MailerLite's documentation. Better to flag the gap than to fill it with a guess drawn from how the name sounds.
list_groups
Listed by the directory, undocumented by MailerLite and by Claude's help pages alike. Nobody publishes what it does, so its behaviour is unknown and this note stops there on purpose.
get_subscribers_in_segment
All we have is a name. MailerLite's documentation does not list this name, and no source explains it. MailerLite does document other segment tools that the directory sheet does not show, but neither list says what this one does.
get_automation
Absent from MailerLite's published tool list, present on Claude's directory sheet, described by no official text. That mismatch is the only fact available, and this page reports it rather than guessing.
What Claude asks you before it acts
By default, Claude stops and asks for your go-ahead before each action it takes on an account for you. The request shows up in the chat, at the moment it matters.
On Team and Enterprise workspaces, owners decide whether members may let some actions through without being asked every time. They can also limit what a connector may do across the whole organization, for example keep reading open and close writing. That setting applies to everyone and nobody overrides it from their own account. And Claude works with your rights and nothing more: it acts through the MailerLite login you authorized. On a tool that schedules a campaign to your list, read the request before you approve.
Which plans it is available on
Out of the 819 sheets in the official directory, not one shows availability by plan. The per-connector answer is published nowhere: it is a real hole in the catalogue.
The general rule is published, though. Remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile, and desktop extensions install on Claude Desktop. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner switches the connector on for the organization before each member can connect. For the current state on your account, the connector's own sheet in the official directory is the place to check.
Where the Claude MailerLite connector stops
A connector is not an automation. Claude calls these tools while it answers you: nothing starts when someone subscribes, a campaign bounces or a form fills up.
This page rests on MailerLite's developer documentation only: no Claude help article covers this connector. The tool list is an observed floor, not a promise, since an admin can open actions that no public sheet shows. The directory's partner badge is not a security audit either, and Anthropic says so on every sheet: it does not pick the tools a publisher exposes and does not vouch that they behave as announced.
