Overview

What changes after a week of back-to-back calls

Tactiq records transcripts of your Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams calls. Once the connector is in place, you stop scrolling through transcripts to find who promised what: you ask Claude, it looks through your meeting history itself and answers with the passage, the speaker and the moment.

Catch up on a call you missed. list_recent_meetings brings up your latest meetings by date, then get_transcript hands Claude the full text so it can brief you in a few lines.

Settle a "who said that?" debate. get_transcript_excerpts pulls the exact quotes that answer a question, with the speaker and the point in the meeting where it was said.

Reuse the notes Tactiq already wrote. list_meeting_artifacts shows the AI outputs attached to a meeting (action items, email drafts, slide content), and get_meeting_artifact opens the one you want.

Now, what the directory sheet does not say. Two listed tools, get_meeting and expand_transcript_excerpt, have no official description at all. Reading meeting details, summaries and full transcripts requires an active team seat on Tactiq's side; without one, Claude can only search and list. And nothing runs on its own: no tool fires when a call ends. Sending a recap automatically after every meeting is an automation tool's job, a different trade; the Integrations hub covers that side.

Vocabulary

The vocabulary, in one minute

Five words you will meet while plugging Tactiq in.

Connector
The link you set up once between Claude and an account you already have, so Claude can work in it while it answers you.
Tool
One named thing a connector lets Claude do. Claude chooses the ones it needs as it answers, and the directory sheet lists them by name.
Authorization
The service's own sign-in screen, where you give Claude the access it will use from then on. Granted once per person, and revocable.
Approval
The confirmation Claude waits for before it completes something that changes an account, shown in the chat when it matters.
MCP
The shared standard connectors rely on: it is what lets an assistant like Claude talk to an outside service such as Tactiq.
Connect

Plug Tactiq into Claude in three steps

  1. 01

    Find Tactiq in Claude

In Claude's settings, open Customize, then Connectors, and look for Tactiq in the list. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner has to switch the connector on before members can sign in.

  2. 02

    Start the connection

Click Connect on its row and sign in to Tactiq in the window Tactiq opens itself. If the link ever breaks, use Disconnect, then plug the connector back in from the same row.

  3. 03

    Pick what Tactiq shares

Read the authorization screen before you accept: it belongs to Tactiq, not Claude, and it sets what the access covers. Tactiq asks here which meetings to expose (your own, shared ones, shared spaces, full details), so you can keep the list short.

Tools

The 9 tools, sorted by what they do

Tactiq gives Claude 9 tools: 7 that read your account, 0 that change something in it, and 2 no official source describes.

Seven tools consult your meetings, two are described by no official source. Names stay as Claude shows them, in English.

What Claude reads (7)

7 tools

Seven tools that look into your meetings without changing anything.

get_generation_status

Tells Claude whether the summary of a meeting is still being produced, so it can check back and only read the summary once it is ready.

When it helps
the call ended two minutes ago and you ask for its recap straight away.

Sourcehelp.tactiq.io · August 18, 2026 ↗

get_meeting_artifact

Reads a single output Tactiq generated for a meeting, such as its action items, a follow-up email draft or slide deck content, so Claude can quote or rework it in the chat.

When it helps
a sales rep wants the email draft Tactiq prepared after a demo, tightened up before it goes out from their own inbox.

Sourcehelp.tactiq.io · August 18, 2026 ↗

get_transcript

Hands Claude the complete text of one meeting, from the first word to the last. Useful when a question needs the whole conversation rather than a few lines.

When it helps
a product manager wants every objection a customer raised during a long discovery call.
Watch out
Tactiq reserves full transcripts to accounts with a team seat.

Sourcehelp.tactiq.io · August 18, 2026 ↗

get_transcript_excerpts

Finds the passages of a transcript that answer a specific question and returns them word for word, with who spoke and at what point of the meeting.

When it helps
two colleagues remember a deadline differently and you want the sentence as it was actually said.

Sourcehelp.tactiq.io · August 18, 2026 ↗

list_meeting_artifacts

Shows which outputs Tactiq has attached to a meeting (action items, email drafts, slide content and others), so Claude knows what exists before opening anything.

When it helps
you are not sure whether Tactiq already produced action items for Tuesday's review.

Sourcehelp.tactiq.io · August 18, 2026 ↗

list_recent_meetings

Returns your most recent meetings ordered by date, a starting point when you do not remember the exact title of a call.

When it helps
back from a day off, you want to see what happened on the calls you skipped.

Sourcehelp.tactiq.io · August 18, 2026 ↗

search_meetings

Looks for meetings by keyword, participant name or date range, across the history your authorization covers.

When it helps
a recruiter needs every interview held with one candidate last month.
Watch out
a meeting outside the scopes you granted will not come back.

Undocumented (2)

2 tools

The directory lists these two names and nothing else. No official text says what they do, and a name is not enough to guess.

expand_transcript_excerpt

This name sits in the directory's tool list and nothing more is known about it: neither Tactiq's help article nor any Claude page describes it, so this page leaves it at that.

Watch out
whatever it does, the general approval rule covers it.

get_meeting

Same silence here. The name is listed, yet no official source explains it, not Tactiq's help article and not a Claude page, and guessing from the way it sounds would not be honest.

Watch out
the approval rule further down applies to it as to any other tool.
Approvals

What Claude asks before it acts

By default, Claude stops and asks for your go-ahead before each action it takes on an account for you. The request appears in the conversation at the moment it matters.

On Tactiq, the sheet exposes reading by default, so the prompt has little to guard. The organization rules still hold. On Team and Enterprise, owners decide whether a member can let some actions through without being asked again. They can also cap what a connector may do for everyone, keeping reads and closing writes, and nobody bypasses that from their own account. Finally, Claude works with your rights and nothing more: a meeting you cannot open in Tactiq stays closed.

Plans

Which plans it works on

Of the 819 sheets in the official directory, not one shows availability plan by plan. That information, connector by connector, is published nowhere.

The general rule is public: remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner switches the connector on for the organization before members can connect. Tactiq's own subscription is a separate matter, covered under limits. For the current state of this connector, check Tactiq's sheet in the official directory.

Limits

Where this connector stops

A connector is not an automation. Claude calls these tools while it answers you: nothing happens when a meeting ends or a new transcript lands.

By default the sheet only exposes reading, an observed floor rather than a promise: an admin can open actions that no public sheet shows. The partner badge is not a security audit, and Anthropic writes on every sheet that it neither chooses a publisher's tools nor vouches for how they behave. Everything here comes from Tactiq's own help article, since neither Claude's help center nor Anthropic's developer docs cover it. For a connector built on the same kind of sheet, see the Claude bamboohr connector.

FAQ

Claude Tactiq connector: frequent questions

01What can Claude do with the Tactiq connector?
Claude can search and read your meeting history from the chat. Seven documented tools list your recent meetings, search them by keyword, participant or date, read a full transcript, pull exact quotes with the speaker, list and open the AI outputs Tactiq produced, and check whether a summary is ready. Two more tools appear in the directory with no description anywhere. The meetings come from Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams, according to the directory sheet.
02Can Claude write, send or delete anything in Tactiq?
No documented tool does: by default, the sheet only exposes reading. Tactiq's article describes browsing, searching and reading meetings, transcripts and AI outputs, with nothing that creates, edits or removes them. Two tools remain undocumented, so nobody can say what they do, and this page does not guess. A read-only list is also an observed floor, not a guarantee, since an admin can open actions that no public sheet shows.
03Does Claude ask before acting?
By default, yes: Claude asks for confirmation before each action it takes on an account in your place. No source describes a confirmation specific to any Tactiq tool, so the default rule applies to all nine, the two undocumented ones included. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, owners decide whether members can let some actions through without being asked each time, and they can shut writes for the whole organization at once.
04Which plans is the Tactiq connector available on?
No official source publishes plan-by-plan availability for each connector, and no directory sheet shows it. The general rule says remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner switches the connector on first. Tactiq adds its own condition on its side: reading details takes an active team seat there. The directory sheet shows the current state for your account.
05Does Claude see all my meetings?
Only the ones your authorization covers. When you connect, Tactiq asks which scopes to grant: your own meetings, meetings shared with you, meetings in shared spaces, and full details. Leave a scope out and those meetings stay hidden from Claude. Claude also works with your rights and nothing beyond them, and you can cut access at once by revoking the authorization in Tactiq's settings. An owner on Team or Enterprise can restrict the connector further.
06Why does Claude find my meetings but not their transcripts?
Most likely because your Tactiq account has no active team seat. Tactiq lets every account search and list meetings, but reading details, summaries and full transcripts requires that seat, and the error message says so. Ask your Tactiq admin to assign you one. If the seat is there, check the scopes: a meeting outside the ones you authorized comes back as not accessible until you re-authorize with the right scope.
07Claude or an automation tool for Tactiq?
They cover different needs. Claude works inside a conversation: you ask about a meeting, it reads the transcript or the AI notes and answers, then nothing more happens once you stop. It does not react on its own when a call ends. Posting a recap to a team channel after every meeting, without anyone asking, is a job for an automation tool. For questions about what was said, the connector is the better fit.
