Overview

What changes when Claude can reach your Valuecase App

Valuecase hosts the digital sales rooms and onboarding spaces you share with customers. With the connector, you stop clicking through each space before a pipeline review or rebuilding a room by hand after a call. You ask Claude, it reads the spaces, plans and comments, and it can personalise a space or spin up a new one from a template.

A pipeline review in one question. list_spaces filters your active rooms, list_space_action_plans shows which customer tasks are overdue, and update_task_dates resets them once the customer agrees.

A meeting transcript turned into a tailored room. Hand Claude the notes: get_space_content_tree finds the welcome text and next steps, add_or_edit_content_items updates them, and insert_asset_library_item adds the implementation guide from your library.

A new customer, set up properly. get_template_space_properties checks which fields a template requires, Claude asks you for what is missing, then create_space builds the room.

Now what it does not do. It can archive a space but never permanently delete one. Workflows, branding, integrations, property definitions and sharing settings stay in the Valuecase interface, and a brand-new file must be uploaded to the Asset Library before Claude can use it. Nothing runs by itself either: no tool fires when a buyer opens a room. For that kind of background job, see the Valuecase App Make integration.

Vocabulary

The vocabulary in one minute

Five words you will meet while plugging Valuecase in.

Connector
The link you set up once between Claude and an account you already have, so it can work in that account while it answers you.
Tool
One named action a connector opens to Claude. Claude picks the ones it needs by itself; the directory sheet lists them by name.
Authorization
The service's own sign-in screen, where you hand Claude the access it will use. Given once per person, and you can take it back.
Approval
The confirmation Claude waits for before it goes through with something that changes your account, shown in the chat when it matters.
MCP
The shared standard connectors are built on: it is what lets an assistant like Claude talk to an outside service such as Valuecase.
Connect

Plug Valuecase App into Claude in three steps

  1. 01

    Find Valuecase App in Claude

In Claude's settings, open Customize, then Connectors, and look for Valuecase App in the list. On a Team or Enterprise workspace, an Owner or Primary Owner has to switch the connector on first, then each member connects on their own.

  2. 02

    Start the connection

Click Connect on its row and sign in to Valuecase in the window Valuecase opens itself. If the link breaks later, use Disconnect and plug it back in from the same row.

  3. 03

    Read the authorization screen

Read the permissions screen before you accept. It belongs to Valuecase, not to Claude, and it sets what the access covers. You can withdraw that access later from your Valuecase account too.

Tools

The 35 Claude Valuecase App connector tools, grouped by what they do

Valuecase App gives Claude 35 tools: 12 that read your account, 16 that change something in it, and 7 no official source describes.

Three groups: what Claude reads, what it changes, and what no official source describes. The names stay exactly as Claude shows them.

  • 12 read
  • 16 write
  • 7 not documented

What Claude reads (12)

12 tools

Tools that look at spaces, templates, plans, properties, forms and comments without touching them.

get_block

It belongs to the three reading tools behind what Valuecase calls reviewing a space's content. Valuecase lists this capability without detailing what each of its three reading tools returns.

When it helps
before a renewal call you want Claude to check what the pricing section of the client's space actually says.
Watch out
Valuecase does not say how this differs from the outline and tree tools.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

get_content_outline

Another of the three tools Valuecase ties to reviewing what a space contains, with no sentence of its own.

When it helps
a colleague built an onboarding space and you want a quick sense of its sections before touching anything.
Watch out
Valuecase describes the shared capability, not this tool's exact output.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

get_space_content_tree

The third tool Valuecase groups under reviewing a space's content; like the other two, its exact output goes undescribed.

When it helps
you hand Claude a meeting transcript and want it to see where the welcome text and next steps live in the space.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

get_template

Reviews the content of one template, the model new spaces start from, so Claude can judge whether it fits a use case.

When it helps
you ask whether the enterprise onboarding template suits a partner rollout.
Watch out
it covers one template at a time; the full list of them comes from list_templates.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

get_template_space_properties

Checks which properties a template requires before a space can be created from it, so Claude asks you for anything missing first.

When it helps
you want a space for a new client and Claude has to know which fields are mandatory.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

list_space_action_plans

Reviews the action plans of a space and their tasks, so overdue items stand out.

When it helps
before a weekly pipeline review you ask which customer tasks are late.
Watch out
it reads the plan; closing a task or shifting a date takes other tools.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

list_space_comments

Reads the comments posted in a space, where customers and your team discuss the deal.

When it helps
you want the open questions the buyer raised in the space this week.
Watch out
answering or tagging someone goes through create_space_comment, and a mention notifies a real person.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

list_space_form_submissions

Accesses what customers submitted through the forms in a space, such as intake questionnaires.

When it helps
an onboarding form came back and you want its answers summarised for the implementation team.
Watch out
these are the customer's own answers, so treat them as the customer's data.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

list_space_properties

Shows the properties of a space, both space properties and internal properties, the two kinds Valuecase names.

When it helps
you want to know the deal size and owner recorded on a space before a call.
Watch out
property definitions themselves are set in the Valuecase interface, not from Claude.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

list_spaces

Searches and filters your spaces, the digital sales rooms and onboarding spaces you share with customers.

When it helps
you want to find one customer's space among dozens of rooms.
Watch out
it only reaches the spaces your own Valuecase account can open.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

list_templates

Lists the templates available in your workspace, so Claude can suggest one that fits the space you need.

When it helps
a new rep asks which template to start from for a renewal.
Watch out
it shows what exists in your workspace; the content of a given template comes from get_template.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

search_asset_library

Searches your Asset Library, the shared stock of files and content your team reuses across spaces.

When it helps
you want the implementation guide PDF to add to a client's space.
Watch out
only what is already in the library can be found; new files go through Valuecase first.

What Claude changes (16)

16 tools

Tools that create, edit, reorder, remove, archive or comment. No source gives any of them its own confirmation rule: the general rule below applies.

add_or_edit_content_items

Approval: see the rule

One of the two tools Valuecase ties to editing existing text, links, action plans, Gantt charts, form questions and other supported blocks. Valuecase does not spell out how it differs from edit_content_item.

What Claude asks for
Valuecase only advises reviewing tool approvals; for this tool, the general rule applies.
When it helps
after a call you want the welcome text and the next steps of a space refreshed in one pass.
Watch out
since the split of work with edit_content_item is not documented, check which blocks the approval names.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

add_space_stakeholder

Approval: see the rule

Adds or invites a stakeholder to a space, so a new person on the customer side gets access to the room.

What Claude asks for
no confirmation specific to adding people is documented, so the general approval rule covers the invitation.
When it helps
the buyer's CFO joins the deal and should see the business case.
Watch out
Valuecase lists adding stakeholders among the actions whose approvals deserve a careful look.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

archive_space

Approval: see the rule

Archives a space. Valuecase is explicit that the connector can archive but never permanently delete a whole space.

What Claude asks for
archiving has no documented confirmation of its own; the general approval rule is what applies.
When it helps
a deal is lost and its room should leave the active list.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

create_block

Approval: see the rule

Adds a content block inside a page of a space, the building piece Valuecase names when it says the assistant can create pages and add blocks.

What Claude asks for
new blocks carry no documented confirmation of their own; the general approval rule decides.
When it helps
a space needs a new Gantt chart for the rollout plan.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

create_page

Approval: see the rule

Creates a new page in a space, the container blocks then go into.

What Claude asks for
page creation has no documented confirmation of its own; the general approval rule applies.
When it helps
you want a resources page added to a partner onboarding space.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

create_space

Approval: see the rule

Spins up a new space from a template, the personalised room a customer will open.

What Claude asks for
nothing documents a dedicated check before a new space goes up, so the general approval rule applies.
When it helps
a new contact at a customer needs an enterprise onboarding space, and Claude should first check which properties are required.
Watch out
Valuecase lists space creation among the actions whose approvals deserve a careful look.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

create_space_comment

Approval: see the rule

Adds a comment or replies in a space, with real @mentions: a mentioned person gets the same notification as a mention made in Valuecase itself.

What Claude asks for
posting a comment has no documented confirmation of its own; the general approval rule governs it.
When it helps
you want the champion tagged with a question about the security review.
Watch out
the notification reaches a real person, customer side included.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

delete_content_items

Approval: see the rule

Removes selected content such as pages or blocks from a space. Valuecase draws the line there: content goes, a whole space never does.

What Claude asks for
no source documents a removal-specific confirmation; the general approval rule is the one to rely on.
When it helps
an outdated pricing page must disappear before the customer opens the room.
Watch out
removal is not archiving; Valuecase mentions no way back for deleted pages or blocks.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

edit_content_item

Approval: see the rule

Edits existing content, text, a link, an action plan or a form question: the other tool Valuecase attaches to content editing, with no word on how it differs from add_or_edit_content_items.

What Claude asks for
single edits carry no documented confirmation of their own; the general approval rule decides.
When it helps
the kick-off date in the welcome text is wrong and only that sentence needs fixing.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

insert_asset_library_item

Approval: see the rule

Adds an item that already sits in your Asset Library to a space, such as a case study or a guide.

What Claude asks for
inserting a library item comes with no documented confirmation; the general approval rule applies.
When it helps
the implementation guide found in the library belongs on the client's resources page.
Watch out
a brand-new file must be uploaded to the library in Valuecase first.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

reorder_content_items

Approval: see the rule

Reorders pages, blocks and items, so a space reads in the order the conversation with the customer now follows.

What Claude asks for
reordering has no documented confirmation of its own; the general approval rule applies.
When it helps
after discovery, the security section should come before pricing.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

set_content_visibility_rule

Approval: see the rule

Sets whether supported content is shown or hidden, and in templates sets visibility rules based on supported properties.

What Claude asks for
visibility changes have no confirmation documented for them; the general approval rule decides.
When it helps
enterprise-only security docs should appear only in spaces marked as enterprise.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

set_task_completion

Approval: see the rule

Marks tasks of an action plan as completed, so the action plan reflects what is actually done.

What Claude asks for
closing a task has no documented confirmation of its own; the general approval rule applies.
When it helps
the customer signed the security questionnaire and its task can be closed.
Watch out
Valuecase lists task updates among the actions whose approvals deserve a careful look.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

update_space_internal_property

Approval: see the rule

Updates an internal property of a space, the second kind Valuecase names next to space properties.

What Claude asks for
internal property changes have no documented confirmation of their own; the general approval rule applies.
When it helps
after a call you want the internal deal stage moved forward.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

update_space_property

Approval: see the rule

Changes a space property, such as a go-live date recorded on the space.

What Claude asks for
no source describes a check before a property changes, so the general approval rule governs it.
When it helps
the go-live slips two weeks and the date on the space should follow.

Sourcehelp.valuecase.com · September 28, 2026 ↗

update_task_dates

Approval: see the rule

Changes the due dates of action plan tasks, a change Valuecase lists next to marking tasks completed.

What Claude asks for
no source describes a confirmation before dates change; the general approval rule applies.
When it helps
three customer tasks are overdue and the plan needs realistic dates.

Undocumented (7)

7 tools

The directory publishes these names and nothing more. Valuecase describes capabilities without naming them, and the page does not guess.

get_block_types

Valuecase's article describes capabilities, not this name, and no official source documents it anywhere. Guessing its role from the wording would be inventing, so the note stops here.

Watch out
like every tool without documentation, it falls under the general approval rule.

get_content_editing_guide

Nothing official ties this entry to any sentence: Valuecase's help page never names it, and Claude publishes no page for this connector. It remains a bare name on the directory sheet.

Watch out
treat it under the default approval rule until a source describes it.

get_space_summary

Valuecase mentions reviewing engagement and recent activity, but no source ties that sentence to this name, and no documentation describes it. The page does not make the link itself.

Watch out
if Claude calls it, the default confirmation rule is what applies.

get_visibility_options

Only the directory lists this name. Valuecase documents visibility as a capability tied to another tool, and no source describes this one, so its role stays unknown here.

Watch out
the general approval rule is all the sources allow to be said about it.

list_space_owners

Nowhere in Valuecase's article does this entry appear, and no source documents it. Like six other names here, it sits on the directory sheet with nothing attached. Any capability read into it would be a guess.

Watch out
until Valuecase documents it, only the default approval rule frames it.

list_space_stakeholders

Valuecase describes adding stakeholders, not listing them, and no official text documents this name. The page leaves it undescribed rather than infer anything from the words it is made of.

Watch out
the default confirmation rule is the only frame the sources give it.

set_task_assignees

Valuecase's list of task capabilities covers completion and due dates, and says nothing about assignees; no source documents this name either. Nothing more is written about it here.

Watch out
on paper, nothing beyond the general approval rule applies to it.
Approvals

What Claude asks before it acts

By default, Claude stops and asks for your go-ahead before each action it carries out on an account for you. The request shows up in the conversation, at the moment it matters.

On a Team or Enterprise workspace, owners decide whether a member may let some actions through without being asked every time. They can also limit what a connector may do for the whole organisation, keeping reviews open and closing edits, for example. That setting applies to everyone. Valuecase also points to the connector's settings in Claude to check your default tool permissions after connecting. And Claude works with your Valuecase rights and nothing more: a space you cannot open stays closed to it too.

Plans

Which plans it is available on

None of the 819 directory sheets shows availability by plan. The answer, connector by connector, is not published anywhere: it is a real gap in the catalogue.

The general rule is published, though. Remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner opens the connector for the organisation before members can connect individually. For the current state, check the Valuecase App sheet in the official directory. One more point: this connector is documented only by Valuecase itself, with no Claude help page of its own.

Limits

Where the Claude Valuecase App connector stops

A connector is not an automation. Claude calls these tools while it answers you: nothing starts when a buyer opens a room, submits a form or leaves a comment.

The tool list is an observed floor, not a promise: an administrator can open actions that appear on no public sheet. The directory's partner badge is not a security audit either, and Anthropic says so on every sheet: it does not choose the tools a publisher exposes and does not guarantee they behave as announced. Plug in only what comes from a publisher you trust. Other connectors are gathered on the Integrations hub.

FAQ

Claude Valuecase App connector: frequent questions

01What can Claude do with the Valuecase App connector?
Claude can review and build your Valuecase sales rooms and onboarding spaces from a conversation. It searches and filters spaces, reads their content, action plans, properties, form submissions and comments, lists and reviews templates, and searches your Asset Library. On the building side it creates spaces from templates, adds pages and blocks, edits or reorders content, shows or hides it, completes tasks and moves due dates, updates properties, adds stakeholders, comments with mentions and archives spaces. Seven other names on the sheet have no description.
02Can Claude create, change or delete things in Valuecase?
Yes, sixteen documented tools change your workspace. Claude can create spaces from templates, add pages and blocks, edit existing text, links, action plans and form questions, reorder or remove selected pages and blocks, add library items, set visibility, update properties and task dates, complete tasks, add stakeholders and post comments. What it cannot do is permanently delete a whole space: Valuecase only allows archiving, so a lost deal leaves the active list without disappearing.
03Does Claude ask before changing my Valuecase spaces?
By default, yes: Claude asks for a confirmation before each action it carries out on an account for you. No source describes a confirmation specific to any Valuecase tool, so that default rule covers creation, edits, archiving and comments. Valuecase itself advises reviewing approvals carefully for creating or archiving spaces, updating tasks or properties, adding stakeholders and posting mentions. On Team or Enterprise, owners can also let some actions through or close editing for everyone.
04Which plans is it available on?
No official source publishes availability by plan for each connector, and none of the directory sheets shows it. The general rule is that remote connectors are open to all users on Claude, Cowork, Claude Desktop and mobile, with an Owner or Primary Owner switching them on first on Team and Enterprise. The Valuecase App sheet in the official directory is the only place showing the current state for your account, so check it there rather than trusting a summary.
05Does Claude see every space in our Valuecase account?
Claude works through your own sign-in and the permissions you approved, so it reaches what your Valuecase account can reach and nothing more. A space you have no access to stays out of the conversation. Valuecase also requires admin access in Valuecase to connect at all. On top of this, an owner of a Team or Enterprise workspace can restrict what the connector may do for the whole organisation, and a member cannot lift that from their own account.
06Why can't Claude add my new PDF to a Valuecase space?
Because the connector only adds content that already sits in your Asset Library. Valuecase asks you to upload a new file or image to the library inside Valuecase first, then to ask Claude to insert that library item into the space. Once it is there, Claude can search the library, find the document and place it on the right page. The same logic applies to branding and sharing settings, which stay in the Valuecase interface.
07Claude or an automation tool for Valuecase App?
They do not answer the same need, so it depends on the task. Claude works inside a conversation: you ask, it reviews, builds or updates a space, and nothing happens once you stop typing. It will not react on its own when a buyer opens a room or a form comes back. For something that runs in the background on an event, that is the role of an automation tool. For briefings, tailored rooms and edits on demand, the connector is the right fit.
