What can the 4leads Make integration do?
The 4leads Make integration links your 4leads account to Make, a visual tool where you chain apps into a scenario, the automation you build. Each brick of that chain is a module: here, modules that read and change contacts, tags, subscriptions, campaigns and global fields, with no code at all.
Leads from your forms, filed without typing. A signup lands in another tool, Upsert a Contact finds or creates the person in 4leads by email, then Sign Contact to a Campaign starts the right sequence. No duplicate, no copy and paste.
Tags that follow what happens elsewhere. When a deal closes in your CRM or a payment clears, Add Tags or Remove Tags updates the contact so your 4leads segments stay accurate. Stop Campaign halts a sales sequence the moment someone buys.
4leads handing work back to Make. Place the Make action inside a 4leads automation and Watch Automations picks up each contact that reaches it, so Make can push the person to a spreadsheet, a helpdesk or a chat channel.
What the modules do not cover, Make an API Call reaches through the 4leads API with the same connection. Apart from Remove Tags, capped at 20 tags per run, the Make documentation lists no numeric limit for 4leads. How do you connect 4leads to Make?

Add a 4leads module
In a scenario, click the +, search for 4leads and pick any module. Make then asks for a connection, meaning your 4leads account linked to Make once and reused by every 4leads module. Click Create a connection.

Name it and authorize
Give the connection a name you will recognize later, such as the account or team it belongs to. Then either approve access on the 4leads page that opens, or paste the key 4leads provides, depending on what the window asks for.

Save and check
Click Save. Back in the module, Make should now list items it can read from your account, like tags or subscriptions. If those lists fill in, the connection works and the next 4leads modules will reuse it.
Your first scenario with 4leads
GoalWhen a new lead arrives from another app, Make creates or updates the contact in 4leads and signs it to a campaign.

Create the scenario
Open the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the +. Pick the app where your leads arrive first, a form tool for example, and its module that returns new entries.

Add Upsert a Contact
Click the + on the right, search 4leads and choose Upsert a Contact. Link your account with Create a connection, then map the email from the previous module.

Add the campaign step
Add Sign Contact to a Campaign next. Map the contact id returned by the upsert, then choose the campaign from the list Make shows once the connection exists.

Test with Run once
Click Run once and submit a test lead. Each module shows the bundles it received, a bundle being one item passed along, here one contact. Check that the person appears in 4leads.

Schedule and switch on
Set the schedule on the first module, every 15 minutes by default, and turn the scenario on. Every module run counts as one operation on your Make plan.

Add a Contact to a Subscription

Create a Tag

Make an API Call

Remove a Contact from a Subscription

Remove Tags

Update a Tag

Upsert a Contact
