What can the AltTextify Make integration do for you?

The AltTextify Make integration lets a Make scenario (the automation you build, a chain of modules) ask AltTextify for alt text, the short description of an image that screen readers and search engines read. You never type that description yourself: the scenario requests it and passes it to the next step.

Accessible product photos. An online store adds a product with a picture. A module from the store app starts the scenario, Generate a Alt Text returns the description, and a later module writes it back where the photo lives.

Cleaner blog posts. An editor publishes an article with several illustrations. The scenario hands each image to AltTextify, so nobody ships a post with empty alt attributes because the deadline was close.

Anything the list does not show. AltTextify has no trigger in Make and only one dedicated action. When you need another endpoint of its API, Make an API Call reuses the same connection and asks for it directly.

    In your scenario, click the +, search for AltTextify and pick one of its two modules. Make then asks for a connection, which is your AltTextify account linked to Make once and reused by both modules. Click Create a connection.

    The name is optional, but a clear one helps later. If a client and your own team each have an AltTextify account, a label like "AltTextify client site" stops you from picking the wrong account in a busy scenario.

The Free plan gives you 2 active scenarios, runs no more often than every 15 minutes, and stops an execution after 5 minutes. Paid plans lower the interval to 1 minute, remove the cap on active scenarios and allow 40 minutes per execution, with usage counted in credits each month. Whatever AltTextify charges for its own service is a separate question that this page does not cover.
02What do you need to connect AltTextify to Make?
An AltTextify account and a Make account.
