What can the Aunoa Make integration do for you?

The Aunoa Make integration lets Make send WhatsApp template messages through your Aunoa account, and call the Aunoa API directly when you need more. Make is a visual tool where you build a scenario: the automation itself, a chain of modules that runs on a schedule or when an app calls Make.

Each module is one brick of that chain. Aunoa brings two of them, both actions, and no trigger. That shapes how you build: the event that starts the scenario comes from another app, and Aunoa handles the message at the end.

A few setups that work well. A clinic takes a booking in its calendar tool, and Send a WhatsApp Template confirms it to the patient. An online shop marks an order as paid, and the buyer gets a template on WhatsApp instead of an email nobody opens. A sales team receives a web form, and the new lead gets a first message while the rep is still on another call.

What Make does not give you here: a module that reacts to things happening inside Aunoa, such as an incoming reply. Make also warns that its own Aunoa documentation is incomplete, because little public information exists about the app. For anything outside the template module, Make an API Call reaches the Aunoa API with the same connection.

How do you connect your Aunoa account to Make?

    Add an Aunoa module

    In your scenario, click the +, type Aunoa in the search box and pick Send a WhatsApp Template. The module opens and asks for a connection, which is your Aunoa account linked to Make once and reused by every Aunoa module.

    Create the connection

    Click Create a connection. You can give it a name, which helps when several people or several Aunoa accounts share one Make organization. Then follow what Make asks: authorize Make on the Aunoa page, or paste the key Aunoa gives you.

    Save and check

    Click Save. If the module now shows its fields instead of an error, the link works. Every Aunoa module you add later, including Make an API Call, can pick this same connection from its list.

    Open the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the big +. Aunoa has no trigger, so this first module comes from the app where the event happens: your form tool, your shop or your calendar.

    Pick the trigger of that other app, connect it and choose what it watches. Each new item it finds becomes a bundle, one item passed from a module to the next, like one form entry.

01Is the Aunoa Make integration free?
Yes, on the Make side. Aunoa is a standard app, available from the Free plan. That plan lets you keep 2 active scenarios, runs scheduled scenarios at most every 15 minutes, stops a run after 5 minutes, and caps files at 5 MB with 512 MB of data transfer. Paid plans (Core, Pro, Teams and Enterprise) lower the interval to 1 minute, remove the cap on active scenarios and allow runs up to 40 minutes. Make counts usage in operations, one operation being one module run on one bundle. Whatever you pay Aunoa is billed separately, outside Make.
02What do you need to connect Aunoa to Make?
An Aunoa account and a Make account. The Make documentation lists no other prerequisite for Aunoa. You add an Aunoa module, click Create a connection, optionally name it, then either authorize Make on the Aunoa page or paste the key Aunoa provides, and click Save. Since Make describes its Aunoa documentation as limited, follow the screens as they appear. The connection is created once, and both Aunoa modules reuse it.
03Can the Aunoa Make integration react in real time?
Not from Aunoa itself, because Aunoa has no trigger module in Make. The scenario has to start somewhere else. The usual route is a trigger from another app: an instant trigger fires as soon as that app calls Make through a webhook, while a scheduled trigger is checked on the scenario's schedule, every 15 minutes by default. You can also run the scenario on a schedule alone. Aunoa then acts at the end, sending the template once the other app has spoken.
04What if the Aunoa module you need is missing in Make?
Use Make an API Call. It calls any endpoint of the Aunoa API from your scenario, with the connection you already set up, so it covers what Send a WhatsApp Template does not. You will need the Aunoa API documentation to know which endpoint to call and what to send. Keep in mind that Make's own Aunoa documentation is incomplete, so test every request with Run once and check the returned bundle before activating.
05Should you use Make or n8n for Aunoa?
