What you can automate

What does the BizMachine Make integration do for you?

The BizMachine Make integration links your BizMachine account to Make, a no-code automation tool, so company data moves into your other apps without copy and paste. You build a scenario, the automation itself, out of modules: each module is one brick, here a BizMachine action or search. BizMachine has no trigger, so a scenario starts from another app or from Make's schedule.

Enrich every new lead. When a form or a CRM passes on a new company, Company Search finds the matching BizMachine record and Get Contacts (National IN) adds people your reps can actually call.

Give finance a second opinion. Before a new customer gets payment terms, Get Risks (National IN) and Get Financials put BizMachine's view right next to the request.

Run territories with tags. Assign Tag to Company files qualified accounts under a tag, and Share Tag with User opens that list to the rep who owns the region.

What the integration will not do is start a scenario by itself. None of the 46 modules is a trigger, so Make asks BizMachine for data on the scenario's schedule, every 15 minutes by default, or when another app kicks things off. For an endpoint no module covers, Make an API Call reuses your connection. The same app may also exist as an n8n node: the n8n vs Make comparison helps you choose, and Make pricing explains how operations are counted.

Connect

How do you connect BizMachine to Make?

  1. 01

    Copy your API key

BizMachine connects through an API key, and you need an active BizMachine account to get one. In your BizMachine dashboard, open the settings or API management section, go to the API keys tab and copy the key shown on screen.

  2. 02

    Start the connection in Make

Add any BizMachine module to a scenario and click Create a connection. A connection is your BizMachine account linked to Make once, then reused by every BizMachine module. The Connection name field is optional, but a clear name helps later.

  3. 03

    Paste the key and confirm

Paste the API key you copied, or follow the instructions Make shows on screen, then save. The connection appears in the module, and every BizMachine module you add afterwards can pick it from the list.

First scenario

Your first scenario: enrich a new lead with BizMachine

GoalWhen a new company lands in another app, Make finds it in BizMachine and adds its contacts.

  1. 01

    Create the scenario

On the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the +. Pick the app that receives your leads as the first module, since BizMachine itself has no trigger.

  2. 02

    Add Company Search

Click the + on the right of the first module, search for BizMachine and choose Company Search. Select your connection or click Create a connection, then map the company data from the first module into the search.

  3. 03

    Add Get Contacts (National IN)

Click the next + and add Get Contacts (National IN), mapping the company the search returned. Each company found is a bundle, one item passed from a module to the next.

  4. 04

    Test with Run once

Click Run once to execute the scenario one time. Read the bundles each module received and confirm the right company and its contacts came through before going further.

  5. 05

    Schedule and switch it on

Set the schedule on the first module, every 15 minutes by default for a new scenario, then switch the scenario on. Each module run on one bundle is an operation, the unit Make counts on your plan.

Modules

What the BizMachine modules do

BizMachine gives you 46 modules. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

BizMachine1

Assign Tag to Company

Action

In MakeAssigns specific Tag to a Company.

Files a company under one of your BizMachine tags, so the account shows up in the right list as soon as your scenario decides it belongs there. A tag is a label that groups the accounts you follow together.

When to use it
a deal moves forward in your CRM and the account should join the list your sales team works from.
Watch out
every run tags again, so test on a single company with Run once before switching the scenario on.
BizMachine2

Create Organization

Action

In MakeCreates new orgnization entry or organization team.

Adds a new organization entry, or a team inside an organization, to BizMachine without a detour through its settings. Your account structure can then follow the changes happening in your company.

When to use it
a new branch or sales team appears in your HR or project tool and needs its own space in BizMachine.
Watch out
the module creates an entry each time it runs, so place it where it fires once per new team.
BizMachine3

Delete a Tag Share

Action

In MakeDeletes tag share entry for a specific user and tag

Withdraws access to a tag you had shared: the chosen user stops seeing the list of companies behind it. Only the share entry for that user and that tag goes away.

When to use it
a colleague leaves the team or changes territory and should stop following a set of accounts.
Watch out
a delete does not undo itself; if the wrong share disappears, rebuild it with Share Tag with User.
BizMachine4

Get Bank Accounts (National IN)

Action

In MakeRetrieves Bank Accounts info from BizMachine API

Puts the bank account information BizMachine holds for one company into your scenario, ready to map into the next module. You get a single result tied to the company you asked about.

When to use it
finance checks a new supplier and wants the bank details filed next to the vendor record.
Watch out
for a batch of companies, the search Get Bank Accounts fits better, since it returns one bundle per result.
BizMachine5

Get Basic Info (National IN)

Action

In MakeRetrieves company basic info from Bizmachine API

Delivers the core identity card of one company from BizMachine, the basic information your other tools usually lack. It is the lightest way to enrich a record before deciding what else to fetch.

When to use it
a lead arrives from a web form and your CRM needs the company basics before a salesperson calls.
Watch out
what comes back is set by BizMachine; read the bundle after Run once before mapping it into your CRM.
BizMachine6

Get Company Aggregated-data (National IN)

Action

In MakeThis endpoint serves as a centralized hub for extracting essential company-related data, encompassing the "Basic-Infos" dataset along with selected values from diverse datasets such as Contacts, Metrics, Risks, Indicators, NACE codes, Eshops, and Locations.

Gathers in one module the basic information of a company plus selected values from contacts, metrics, risks, indicators, NACE codes, e-shops and locations. One call replaces a stack of separate lookups.

When to use it
you want a well-rounded account profile in your CRM and would rather not chain seven Get modules.
Watch out
it keeps only selected values from each dataset; for the full list of contacts or risks, use the dedicated module.
BizMachine7

Get Company Details

Action

In MakeFetches company details from Bizmachine API (various fields are returned based on subscription level).

Fetches the company details your BizMachine account is allowed to see and hands them to the rest of the scenario as one bundle. The set of fields grows or shrinks with your BizMachine subscription level.

When to use it
a sales rep opens a new opportunity and you want the account sheet filled in automatically.
Watch out
two accounts on different subscriptions can get different fields from this module, so map only what yours returns.
BizMachine8

Get Company Embed Link

Action

In MakeGenerates deep link for retrieval of company information.

Produces a deep link that opens a company's information in BizMachine, so your team reaches the full profile in one click from another tool. You receive a link rather than the data itself.

When to use it
you post a new account in your team chat or in a CRM note and want a direct path back to BizMachine.
Watch out
no company fields come with the link; add Get Basic Info (National IN) when the record also needs data.
BizMachine9

Get Connected Companies (National IN)

Action

In MakeRetrieves connected companies from BizMachine API

Reveals the companies BizMachine links to the one you ask about, so you see the group around an account instead of a lone name. The results arrive in your scenario, ready to map.

When to use it
a key account signs and you want to spot related firms your team could approach next.
Watch out
several companies can come back; check the bundles after Run once before a module writes one record per result.
BizMachine10

Get Contacts (National IN)

Action

In MakeRetrieves contacts info from BizMachine API

Hands your scenario the contact information BizMachine holds for a company, so a CRM record gets people to call instead of a bare company name.

When to use it
a lead lands without a phone number or email and your sales team needs someone to reach.
Watch out
contact data flows straight into your tools; choose the fields you map and leave the rest out of your CRM.
BizMachine11

Get Indicators (National IN)

Action

In MakeRetrieves company indicators from BizMachine API

Returns the indicators BizMachine computes for one company, ready to steer a decision further down the scenario. Treat them as signals your automation can act on rather than figures to read by hand.

When to use it
you score leads in your CRM and want BizMachine's view of the company to count in the score.
Watch out
read the indicator names in the bundle after Run once and map only those you understand.
BizMachine12

Get Metrics (National IN)

Action

In MakeRetrieves company metrics from Bizmachine API

Brings one company's metrics from BizMachine into your scenario, so figures you would otherwise copy by hand travel into your CRM or spreadsheet.

When to use it
an account manager prepares a renewal and wants the latest company metrics next to the deal.
Watch out
this version works on one company per bundle; for a whole list, the search Get Metrics is the better pick.
BizMachine13

Get NACE Codes (National IN)

Action

In MakeRetrieves company NACE codes from BizMachine API

Tells your scenario which NACE codes BizMachine records for a company, so accounts can be sorted by activity without guessing from the company name.

When to use it
your marketing lists are split by industry and each new account needs a sector before it joins a campaign.
Watch out
check in the bundle whether several codes come back, and decide which one your CRM keeps.
BizMachine14

Get Owned Companies (National IN)

Action

In MakeRetrieves owned companies from BizMachine API

Shows the companies a given company owns according to BizMachine, so a parent account in your CRM can point to its subsidiaries.

When to use it
you sell to groups and want each new holding linked to the firms that sit under it.
Watch out
an owner with a large portfolio sends back many results; look at them after Run once before creating records.
BizMachine15

Get Owners (National IN)

Action

In MakeRetrieves company owners from BizMachine API

Retrieves who owns a company in BizMachine, which helps your team understand who stands behind an account before a first meeting.

When to use it
a strategic prospect enters your pipeline and the account plan needs its ownership.
Watch out
ownership and contacts live in separate modules; pair it with Get Contacts (National IN) when you also need people to reach.
BizMachine16

Get Risks (National IN)

Action

In MakeRetrieves company risks from BizMachine API

Gives your scenario the risk information BizMachine has on one company, so a warning can reach the person approving a deal or a new supplier.

When to use it
a new customer asks for payment terms and finance wants the risk view before saying yes.
Watch out
the module only reports; what happens next depends on the modules you add after it.
BizMachine17

Get Statutories (National IN)

Action

In MakeRetrieves company statutories from BizMachine API

Returns the statutories BizMachine lists for one company and passes them to the next module, so a contract or onboarding flow can use them without a manual lookup.

When to use it
legal prepares a contract and needs the company's statutory details inside the draft.
Watch out
this action handles one company per run; the search Get Statutories covers a list.
BizMachine18

Make an API Call

Action

In MakePerforms an arbitrary authorized API call.

Opens the whole BizMachine API to your scenario, with the same connection as the other modules. It is how you reach an endpoint that none of the ready-made modules covers.

When to use it
you found an endpoint in the BizMachine API documentation that no listed module exposes.
Watch out
you write the request yourself, so check the path and settings in the BizMachine documentation before running it.
BizMachine19

Remove Tag From Company

Action

In MakeRemoves specific Tag from a Company.

Takes one tag off a company, so the account leaves a list once it no longer belongs there. The company itself stays in BizMachine.

When to use it
a deal is lost or closed and the account should drop out of the prospecting list.
Watch out
run Get Company Tags first when you are unsure which tags the company carries, so the scenario removes the right one.
BizMachine20

Share Tag with User

Action

In MakeShares a tag with a specific user.

Gives a colleague access to one of your tags, and with it the list of companies behind that tag. Sharing becomes a step of your process instead of a request sent by message.

When to use it
a new salesperson joins and needs the territory list as soon as their account is created.
Watch out
to take the access back later, Delete a Tag Share is its counterpart.
BizMachine21

Company Search

Search

In MakeSearches for the company by its attributes.

Finds companies in BizMachine by their attributes and returns every match as a separate bundle. It usually comes first among the BizMachine steps, because the other modules need to know which company you mean.

When to use it
a lead arrives with only a company name and you need the matching BizMachine record.
Watch out
a loose search can return zero or several companies; read the bundles after Run once before chaining a Get module.
BizMachine22

Get Bank Accounts

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies banks from Bizmachine API

Collects bank account information for several companies in one module, each result arriving as its own bundle. No need to repeat the single-company version for every supplier.

When to use it
procurement reviews a batch of suppliers and wants all their bank details in one sheet.
Watch out
each bundle it sends on costs an operation in the next module, so keep the batch as tight as your need.
BizMachine23

Get Basic Info

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies basic info from BizMachine API

Returns the basic information of several companies at once, one bundle per company, straight into your scenario. Useful for completing a spreadsheet or a CRM import in a single pass.

When to use it
marketing receives a list of target accounts and wants each row completed with BizMachine basics.
Watch out
the result can also be empty; plan what your next module should do when no company comes back.
BizMachine24

Get Company Custom Data

Search

In MakeRetrieves custom data available for company (various formats are available).

Retrieves the custom data BizMachine has for a company, in a format you choose among the ones available. Your scenario can then use that data like any other bundle.

When to use it
your team keeps custom data in BizMachine and wants it next to the company record in your CRM.
Watch out
the chosen format shapes what the next module receives; try each option with Run once before mapping.
BizMachine25

Get Company Tags

Search

In MakeGets all company tags.

Lists every tag a company carries in BizMachine, so your scenario knows which lists the account already belongs to before changing anything.

When to use it
you are about to tag or untag an account and want to avoid adding a label it already has.
Watch out
several tags come back as several bundles; plan how the next module treats each of them.
BizMachine26

Get Connected Companies

Search

In MakeRetrieves connected companies data from BizMachine API

Maps the links between companies for a whole set of accounts at once and returns the related firms as bundles you can map. You get the group picture across a portfolio.

When to use it
you prepare an account-based campaign and want to see which targets belong to the same group.
Watch out
results multiply with several input companies; keep an eye on the operations spent by every module placed after it.
BizMachine27

Get Contacts

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies contacts from BizMachine API

Brings back contact information for several companies in one step, each contact ready to map into a CRM or a mailing tool.

When to use it
a list of companies met at a trade show must become a list of people your team can reach.
Watch out
one company can bring several contacts, each one a bundle; decide whether your CRM receives them all.
BizMachine28

Get Contracts

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies contracts from BizMachine API

Retrieves the contracts BizMachine records for companies, so that history appears in the account view your sales team already uses.

When to use it
you prepare a pitch and want the account's recorded contracts next to the opportunity.
Watch out
several contracts per company arrive as separate bundles; aggregate them or pick one before writing anywhere.
BizMachine29

Get Custom Data

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies custom data from BizMachine API

Returns custom data for several companies, the batch counterpart of Get Company Custom Data. Reach for it when a whole list, not one account, needs that extra layer.

When to use it
an export of target accounts must carry your BizMachine custom data before it goes to the sales team.
Watch out
when your scenario handles accounts one by one, the single-company module keeps the flow simpler.
BizMachine30

Get E-Shops

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies e-shops from BizMachine API

Tells you which e-shops BizMachine links to companies, so you can pick out the accounts that sell online.

When to use it
you sell services to online retailers and want to know which prospects run a shop.
Watch out
a company without an e-shop returns nothing; make sure the next module copes with that case.
BizMachine31

Get Events

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies Events from BizMachine API

Retrieves the events BizMachine records for companies and passes each one on as a bundle. Your scenario can then react to what changed at an account instead of waiting for someone to notice.

When to use it
account managers want a note in the CRM when BizMachine records something new about a client.
Watch out
this is a search, not a trigger: the scenario runs on its schedule and asks for events at each run.
BizMachine32

Get Financials

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies financials from BizMachine API

Brings company financials from BizMachine into your scenario, so the figures that decide deal size or credit terms land where your team works.

When to use it
a sales rep sizes an offer and wants the financials sitting next to the opportunity.
Watch out
several results can come back as separate bundles; decide which one your record keeps.
BizMachine33

Get Indicators

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies indicators from BizMachine API

Scores a whole batch of companies with BizMachine indicators, one bundle per result, ready for sorting your list by priority.

When to use it
you receive a list of prospects and want to rank them before sales starts calling.
Watch out
the single-company Get Indicators (National IN) is lighter when your scenario handles one lead per run.
BizMachine34

Get Jobs

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies job postings from BizMachine API

Lists the job postings BizMachine finds for companies. Hiring often signals a growing account, and this module turns that signal into data your scenario can route.

When to use it
your offer helps growing teams and you want to know which prospects are recruiting.
Watch out
postings can be numerous; keep only the bundles your team will act on before writing to a CRM.
BizMachine35

Get Locations

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies locations from BizMachine API

Returns where companies are located according to BizMachine, which lets your scenario hand an account to the right region or salesperson.

When to use it
leads must reach the rep who covers their territory without anyone sorting them by hand.
Watch out
a company with several sites sends back several bundles; choose the one that decides the territory.
BizMachine36

Get Metrics

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies metrics from BizMachine API

Pulls metrics for a set of companies in a single module, each result arriving as a bundle you can write to a sheet or a CRM.

When to use it
you refresh the metrics of your target account list before a planning meeting.
Watch out
if the scenario only follows one account, Get Metrics (National IN) keeps the flow simpler.
BizMachine37

Get NACE Codes

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies NACE codes from BizMachine API

Gives NACE codes for many companies at once, so a raw list of accounts can be split by activity in one pass.

When to use it
marketing wants to segment an imported list by sector before building campaigns.
Watch out
codes arrive as BizMachine records them; keep a lookup of your own labels if the CRM expects words rather than codes.
BizMachine38

Get Owned Companies

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies owned companies from BizMachine API

Retrieves the owned companies of several parent companies at once, revealing the subsidiaries behind a list of groups.

When to use it
you map a set of holding accounts and want every firm they control in your CRM.
Watch out
results grow fast across several parents; try a small batch with Run once before the full list.
BizMachine39

Get Owners

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies owners from BizMachine API

Returns the owners of several companies in one module, so your whole target list gets its ownership context in a single run.

When to use it
an account-based campaign needs to know who stands behind each target company.
Watch out
pair it with Get Owned Companies to see ownership from both sides.
BizMachine40

Get Risks

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies risks from BizMachine API

Checks BizMachine risk information for a batch of companies, one bundle per result, so your team reviews risk across a portfolio instead of account by account.

When to use it
finance reviews the customer base and wants a risk column in the receivables sheet.
Watch out
the module surfaces data; the decision about a risky account still belongs to someone on your team.
BizMachine41

Get Statutories

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies statutories from BizMachine API

Pulls the statutories BizMachine keeps on the companies you point it at, and hands them back as bundles that the next module can read. Since it is a search, a run can bring back nothing, one record or several.

When to use it
your scenario already carries a batch of companies, for example from Company Search, and you want their statutories side by side.
Watch out
for a single company, Get Statutories (National IN) is the neighbouring action; pick the one that matches what you feed in.
BizMachine42

Get Subsidies

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies subsidies from BizMachine API

Gives you the subsidies BizMachine has on record for a company, so the funding side of an account lands in your scenario next to the rest of your data. Each subsidy comes out as its own bundle.

When to use it
a sales or account manager wants to see funding history before a call, and you enrich the CRM record with it.
Watch out
a company may have no subsidy at all; plan for an empty result so the modules after it do not stop on missing data.
BizMachine43

Get Tag Companies

Search

In MakeRetrieves a list of companies under the specific tag.

Turns a BizMachine tag into a list of companies: every account filed under that tag flows out as a separate bundle, ready to be enriched or pushed to another app.

When to use it
your team tags target accounts in BizMachine and you want Make to work through that list, for instance to copy it into a CRM.
Watch out
this reads the tag, it does not change it; to add or remove a company, use Assign Tag to Company or Remove Tag From Company instead.
BizMachine44

Get Tenders

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies tenders from BizMachine API

Fetches the tenders BizMachine links to a company, one bundle per tender, so your scenario can react to them instead of someone reading them by hand.

When to use it
a business developer tracks which prospects are involved in tenders and wants that context written into the account record.
Watch out
each tender counts as a separate bundle downstream, and every module after it runs once per bundle, which adds operations to your plan.
BizMachine45

Get V3 Users

Search

In MakeInternal endpoint for listing users

Lists users on the BizMachine side, which helps when another step needs to know who a tag can be shared with. The official description calls it an internal endpoint, so treat it as a helper rather than a data source.

When to use it
just before Share Tag with User or Delete a Tag Share, to pick the right person from the list.
Watch out
the doc says nothing more about what this list contains; run it once in the editor and read the bundles before mapping anything.
BizMachine46

Get Vehicles

Search

In MakeRetrieves companies vehicles from BizMachine API

Brings in the vehicles BizMachine associates with a company, each as its own bundle, which adds a concrete signal about an account to the data you already have.

When to use it
you sell to companies that run vehicles and want your reps to see that information on the account before reaching out.
Watch out
what comes back depends on BizMachine's data for that company; click Run once on a known account first to see what the module actually returns.

FAQ

BizMachine and Make: common questions

01Is the BizMachine Make integration free?
Yes, on the Make side. BizMachine is a standard app, available from the Free plan. That plan allows 2 active scenarios, at least 15 minutes between two scheduled runs, 5 minutes of execution at most, files up to 5 MB and 512 MB of data transfer. Paid plans lower the minimum interval to 1 minute and count usage in operations each month. Your BizMachine subscription is separate: you need an active account with an API key, and BizMachine lists its own prices on its pricing page.
02What do you need to connect BizMachine to Make?
An active BizMachine account and an API key. You find the key in the settings or API management section of the BizMachine dashboard, under the API keys tab, and copy it from there. In Make, you add a BizMachine module, click Create a connection, give it a name if you like, and paste the key. From then on, every BizMachine module in your scenarios can reuse that same connection without asking for the key again.
03Can BizMachine start a Make scenario on its own?
No. BizMachine has no trigger among its 46 modules, neither scheduled nor instant. A scenario that uses it starts in one of two ways. Either another app opens the flow, for example a form or a CRM that passes on a new company, or the scenario runs on its schedule, every 15 minutes by default, and a BizMachine search such as Get Events or Company Search asks for fresh data at each run. On the Free plan, 15 minutes is also the shortest interval.
04What if the BizMachine module you need is missing?
Use Make an API Call. It sends a request to any endpoint of the BizMachine API with the connection you already set up, so you are not limited to the 46 ready-made modules. You write the request yourself, which means reading the BizMachine API documentation first. Keep in mind that Make's help page for BizMachine warns it was written with AI and may contain mistakes, so confirm important details with BizMachine directly.
05Should you use Make or n8n for BizMachine?
It depends on where your automations already live. In Make, BizMachine comes with 46 modules, from Company Search to tag sharing, and Make an API Call covers the rest with the same connection. Apps often have an n8n node as well, so check whether BizMachine does before you decide. Then compare the modules each tool offers for the tasks you actually need, and pick the one your team already builds and maintains scenarios in.
