How do you connect Clearout to Make?

    Create your API token in Clearout

    You need an active Clearout account. Open the Developer tab of your dashboard, click Create API Token, then copy the token shown under that tab. Keep it at hand for the next step.

    Open the connection window in Make

    In your scenario, add any Clearout module and click Create a connection. The Connection name field is optional; a clear name helps when several people share the same Make account.

    Paste the token and save

    Paste the API token you copied from Clearout and confirm. This connection, your Clearout account linked to Make, is created once and every Clearout module of your scenarios can reuse it.

    From the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the +. Pick the app where your leads land, such as a form tool or a spreadsheet, as the first module.

    Map the email field

Yes, on the Make side. Clearout is a standard app, available from the Free plan, which allows 2 active scenarios, runs no more often than every 15 minutes and stops each run after 5 minutes. Paid plans lower the interval to 1 minute and remove the limit on active scenarios. Make counts usage in operations: each Clearout module run on one bundle is one operation. You still need an active Clearout account with an API token, and Clearout has its own subscription, described on its pricing page.
02What do you need to connect Clearout to Make?
An active Clearout account and an API token. In your Clearout dashboard, open the Developer tab, click Create API Token and copy the token shown there. Then, in Make, add any Clearout module, click Create a connection, give it a name if you like and paste the token. The connection is created once and every Clearout module in your scenarios reuses it, so you will not have to paste the token again for each new module.
03Does the Clearout Make integration react in real time?
Not on its own, because Clearout has no trigger in Make: all ten modules are actions. Something else must start the scenario. The usual option is a trigger from the app that receives your leads, such as a form tool or a spreadsheet, followed by the Clearout modules. You can also rely on the schedule of the first module, which runs every 15 minutes by default. If that first module is an instant trigger of another app, the check starts as soon as that app calls Make.
04What if a Clearout module is missing in Make?
Use Make an API Call. It calls any endpoint of the Clearout API from your scenario, with the same connection as the other modules, so you are not stuck with the ten listed modules. You do need to read the Clearout API documentation to know which endpoint to call. Keep in mind that Make marks its Clearout documentation as AI-generated content that may contain mistakes, so check anything important with Clearout directly before you build on it.
