The Herefish logo Make integration links your Herefish account, which sits on top of Bullhorn, to Make, a tool where you build a scenario: an automation made of bricks called modules. It has two actions, one that puts a candidate or contact on a list and one that takes a candidate off a list.

Put new applicants where your recruiters look. A form tool, a sheet or another app sends a person into Make, and Add candidate/contact to list files that person on the Herefish list you pick. Nobody has to copy names by hand anymore.

Clean a list when someone is placed. When another app reports that a candidate took a job, Remove candidate from list pulls them out of that list, so it only shows people still in play.

Sort people by source. Two scenarios can feed two different lists, one per channel, with the same add module set to a different list each time.

How do you connect Herefish to Make?

    Get your Bullhorn keys first

    Log in to Bullhorn and open a support ticket in the Bullhorn Resource Center to request OAuth 2.0 API keys. Bullhorn sends back a client_id, a client_secret and a redirect_uri. You also need a Herefish account.

    Add a Herefish module

    In your Make account, add a Herefish module to the scenario and click Create a connection. A connection is your account linked to Make once and reused by every Herefish module. You can type a label in Connection name if you like.

    Paste the credentials

    Enter the credentials you received, or follow the instructions Make shows on screen, and add any third party API key the form asks for. Bullhorn then hands back an authorization code that is exchanged for an access token.

    Open the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the + to add the first module. Since Herefish has no trigger, pick the app where applicants arrive, such as your form tool.

    Connect that first app and fill its fields. Each applicant it returns becomes a bundle, meaning one item that flows from a module to the next, here one person with their details.

Herefish is a standard app, so it works on the Free plan, which allows 2 active scenarios, at least 15 minutes between scheduled runs, 5 minutes of run time and files up to 5 MB. Paid plans (Core, Pro, Teams, Enterprise) lower the interval to 1 minute and count usage in credits per month. The app is built by a partner, not by Make. Herefish and Bullhorn have their own terms, which this page does not cover.

You need an active Bullhorn account, a Herefish account and OAuth 2.0 API keys.
