What you can automate

What can the Instapage Make integration do for you?

The Instapage Make integration connects your landing page forms to the rest of your stack. A scenario, which is the automation you build in Make, starts the moment a visitor submits a form, then passes that response to the tools where your team actually works. No code is involved: you pick modules, the building blocks of a scenario, and link them.

Leads land in your CRM without copy and paste. Watch Form Submissions opens the scenario, and a second module from your CRM creates the contact. If you run Agile CRM, the Agile CRM Make integration page shows what that side can do.

A shared table of every campaign response. A marketing team comparing several landing pages can send each response into a base, one row per submission, and sort it later. The Airtable Make integration covers the modules on that end.

Sales hears about a hot lead straight away. Because the trigger is instant, the alert can go out as soon as Instapage reports the response, instead of waiting for someone to export a list.

Know the limits before you plan. Make offers a single module for Instapage, and it is a trigger: nothing in this integration creates pages, edits forms or changes data inside Instapage. Everything after the submission happens in other apps. If you weigh Make against n8n for this kind of flow, read n8n vs Make.

Connect

How do you connect Instapage to Make?

  1. 01

    Add the Instapage module

Open a scenario, click the +, search for Instapage and pick Watch Form Submissions. Make then asks for a connection, meaning your Instapage account linked to Make once and reused afterwards. Click Create a connection.

  2. 02

    Name it and authorize Make

Giving the connection a name is optional but handy when a client and your own agency both use Instapage. Then approve Make on the Instapage page that opens, or paste the key Instapage gives you if that is what the window asks for.

  3. 03

    Save the connection

Click Save. The connection now appears in the module, and any other Instapage module you add later would reuse it. From here you can fill in the trigger and move on to the next brick of your scenario.

First scenario

Your first scenario with Instapage

GoalWhen a visitor submits a form in Instapage, Make sends that response to the tool where you track leads.

  1. 01

    Create the scenario

On the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the + in the middle of the editor. This first module decides when everything else runs.

  2. 02

    Place the Instapage trigger

Search for Instapage, choose Watch Form Submissions and select your connection. Fill the fields the module shows; once connected, Make lists what it can read from your account.

  3. 03

    Add the destination

Click the + on the right of the trigger and pick a module from your CRM, spreadsheet or chat app. Map the answers from the Instapage module into its fields.

  4. 04

    Test with Run once

Click Run once, then submit a test entry on your landing page. Open each module to read the bundle it received, a bundle being one item passed along, here one form response.

  5. 05

    Switch it on

Check the settings on the first module, then turn the scenario on. From now on, each new submission is pushed to Make by Instapage and runs the chain, with no waiting between checks.

Triggers

What starts an Instapage scenario?

1 module starts a scenario when something happens in Instapage. A scheduled trigger is checked by Make on the scenario's schedule; an instant one is called by Instapage as soon as it happens.

Instapage1Watch Form Submissions

Watch Form Submissions

Instant trigger

In MakeTriggers when a new form response is submitted.

You get each new response to an Instapage form as soon as a visitor sends it, ready to pass to the next module. It is the only Instapage module in Make, so every scenario for this app starts here.

How it fires
instant. Instapage calls Make through a webhook as soon as the submission happens, which shows as a lightning badge on the module.
When to use it
a demo request page where sales wants the contact in the CRM before the prospect has closed the tab.
Watch out
the integration stops at this trigger, so any follow up, such as a thank you email or a lead score, needs a module from another app.

FAQ

Instapage and Make: common questions

01Is the Instapage Make integration free?
Yes. Instapage is a standard app in Make, so it is available on the Free plan. That plan allows 2 active scenarios, a minimum of 15 minutes between two scheduled runs, 5 minutes of execution per run, files up to 5 MB and 512 MB of data transfer. Each operation, meaning one module processing one bundle, counts against your plan. Paid plans such as Core, Pro, Teams and Enterprise lift the number of active scenarios and count usage in credits per month. Your Instapage subscription is a separate matter that Make does not handle.
02What do you need to connect Instapage to Make?
An Instapage account is the only requirement the Make documentation names. With it, you add the Watch Form Submissions module, click Create a connection, give the connection a name if you want, authorize Make or paste the key Instapage provides, then save. The documentation does not publish steps specific to Instapage, so the generic Make connection flow applies. Sign in with the account that owns the landing pages you want to watch, because the connection only sees what that account can see.
03Does the Instapage trigger in Make fire in real time?
Yes. Watch Form Submissions is an instant trigger: Instapage notifies Make through a webhook as soon as a visitor submits a form, instead of Make checking on a timer. That is different from a scheduled trigger, which Make polls on the scenario schedule, every 15 minutes by default on a new scenario. For a lead form, it means the next module can act right after the submission, as long as the scenario is switched on.
04What if the Instapage Make integration lacks the module you need?
It depends on what you need. The integration has a single module, a trigger, and no Make an API Call module, so Make cannot change anything inside Instapage. What you can do is handle everything after the submission with modules from other apps: a CRM, a spreadsheet, an email tool. If the flow you have in mind requires acting on Instapage itself, ask the team through the help form on this page before building around a gap.
05Make or n8n for Instapage?
It depends on your criteria rather than on a winner. In Make, Instapage offers 1 instant trigger for form submissions, and the rest of the flow relies on other apps, which Make covers with 3,000+ standard apps on every plan. Before choosing n8n, check whether it has an Instapage node and what that node can do. Then compare the two tools on how you like to build, how usage is counted and where your other apps are best supported.
