What does the IQDial Make integration do?

It links your IQDial account to Make so that contacts move in and out of IQDial on their own. In Make you build a scenario, the automation itself, out of modules, one brick per app. IQDial brings 3 of them, all actions: Add a New Contact, Create Contact File and Get Contacts.

Leads reach the dialer untouched. A web form or a CRM starts the scenario, and Add a New Contact places the person in IQDial, so your callers stop retyping names and numbers.

Contacts arrive in bulk. Create Contact File is the module to look at when a whole set of people needs to reach IQDial together. The documentation gives no detail on it, so test it with Run once before relying on it.

IQDial data feeds other tools. Get Contacts reads back what IQDial holds, and the next module in the scenario can pass it to a spreadsheet or a report.

Two limits to know. IQDial has no trigger in Make, so a scenario starts from another app or from Make's schedule.     Copy your API token

    Log in to IQDial, click your profile icon and choose My Account. The API token sits in the account section: copy it. You need an active IQDial account for this, since the token is what lets Make act for you.

    In your Make scenario, add any IQDial module and click Create a connection. A connection is your IQDial account linked to Make once, then reused by every IQDial module you add later.

    Name it and paste the token

    The Connection name field is optional, but a clear name helps when several accounts exist. Paste the token you copied, or follow the instructions shown on screen, then save. Make now reads your IQDial account.

    From the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the + to add the first module. IQDial has no trigger, so this first module comes from the app where your leads land.

    Search your form or CRM app, pick its module and connect it. Each lead it returns travels as a bundle, one item passed from a module to the next.

01Is the IQDial Make integration free?
Yes, on the Make side. IQDial is a standard app, so it works from the Free plan. That plan allows 2 active scenarios, a minimum of 15 minutes between scheduled runs, 5 minutes of execution per run, files up to 5 MB and 512 MB of data transfer. Paid plans lower the interval to 1 minute and remove the cap on active scenarios. IQDial itself needs an active account, and its own subscription is set on the IQDial pricing page.
02What do you need to connect IQDial to Make?
An active IQDial account and its API token. In IQDial, click your profile icon, open your account page and copy the API token shown in the account section. Keep it private, since it lets Make act on your behalf. Then add any IQDial module in Make, click Create a connection, optionally give it a name, and paste the token. The connection is created once and every IQDial module in your scenarios reuses it.
03Can an IQDial scenario start on its own in real time?
No. IQDial has no trigger module in Make, neither scheduled nor instant, so nothing inside IQDial can start a scenario. Put another app first, such as the form or CRM where leads arrive, and let its trigger launch the flow. The other route is Make's own schedule on the first module: every 15 minutes by default, 15 minutes at least on the Free plan and 1 minute on paid plans.

It depends on the need. IQDial offers 3 modules in Make and no Make an API Call module, so you cannot send a custom request to IQDial from here.
