How do you connect nele.ai to Make?

    Create an API key in nele.ai

    Open your nele.ai account and go to Settings. Click Create API Key, give the key a name you will recognize later, add an expiration date if you want one, then click Create API Key again and copy the key shown on screen.

    Add a nele.ai module in Make

    In your Make account, open a scenario, click the +, search for nele.ai and pick any module. Then click Create a connection. A connection is your nele.ai account linked to Make once, and every nele.ai module reuses it.

    Paste the key and save

    You can fill Connection name with something clear, such as the workspace it belongs to; the field is optional. Paste the API key you copied, or follow what the window asks, and save. Make then shows the connection in the module.

Build your first scenario with nele.ai

    From the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the +. Search for nele.ai and choose Start a Chat Completion as the first module, then select your connection.

    Fill the fields Make shows in Start a Chat Completion with the text you want nele.ai to work on. Keep it short for this first test so the answer is easy to read.

    Add the image step

    Click the + on the right of the first module and add Generate an Image. Map the answer from the chat module into it, so the image follows what nele.ai just wrote.

    Test with Run once

    Click Run once. Make runs the scenario a single time and shows the bundles each module received. Open them to check the answer and the image before going further.

Yes, on the Make side. nele.ai is a standard app, so it works from the Free plan. That plan allows 2 active scenarios, a minimum of 15 minutes between scheduled runs, 5 minutes of execution per run, files up to 5 MB and 512 MB of data transfer. Paid plans lower the interval to 1 minute and remove the cap on active scenarios. You still need your own active nele.ai account, which nele.ai bills on its side; its pricing page has the details.
02What is needed to connect nele.ai to Make?
An active nele.ai account and an API key. You create the key in the Settings section of nele.ai with the Create API Key button, name it, optionally set an expiration date, then copy it. In Make, add any nele.ai module, click Create a connection, give it a name if you like and paste the key. That single connection then serves all 5 nele.ai modules in your scenarios. If the key has an expiration date, plan to create a new one and update the connection when it runs out.
03Can nele.ai start a Make scenario on its own?
No. nele.ai has no trigger module in Make, neither scheduled nor instant, so it cannot launch a scenario by itself. Two ways around it. Put a trigger from another app first, such as a form or a CRM, and add the nele.ai module after it. Or leave the scenario on a schedule: a new scenario runs every 15 minutes by default, and the Free plan does not allow a shorter interval. Paid plans go down to 1 minute.
04What if a nele.ai module is missing in Make?
Use Make an API Call. It calls any endpoint of the nele.ai API from your scenario with the same connection, so you are not limited to the 4 other modules. You will write the request yourself, so keep the nele.ai API documentation at hand.
