The Netgsm Make integration links your Netgsm SMS account to Make, a no-code tool where you build a scenario: an automation made of modules, each module being one brick such as a trigger or an action. Once linked, Make can send texts and OTP codes, and pick up incoming messages and delivery reports, without you writing code.

Incoming texts that reach the right person. Watch New Incoming SMS picks up messages sent to your Netgsm line, and Send a Message can pass each one on to a colleague's phone, so a customer reply never sits unread in a portal.

Login codes sent from your own tools. Send an OTP Message lets a signup form or a customer portal built elsewhere send a one-time code through Netgsm, as the step that follows the other app's trigger.

A consent list kept in sync. Add an IYS Address and Query an IYS Address work on IYS addresses, and Watch IYS Results, judging by its name, brings back the outcome, so the record of who agreed to receive messages lives next to your other data.

Know the limits before you start. Make's documentation lists these modules by name only, with no description, and flags its own Netgsm page as AI-generated content to verify. How do you connect your Netgsm account to Make?

    Get your API credentials in Netgsm

    Log in to Netgsm and open Abonelik Islemleri > Alt Kullanici Hesaplari. Create an API Alt Kullanici, or pick the one you already have, then copy two values: the API key shown as your subscriber number (usercode) and the API password.

    Add a Netgsm module in your scenario

    In Make, add any Netgsm module to your scenario and click Create a connection. A connection is your Netgsm account linked to Make once, then reused by every Netgsm module. You can fill Connection name to recognize it later.

    Paste the credentials and save

    Enter the usercode and the API password you copied, or follow the instructions Make shows on screen, then save. The module can now read your Netgsm account, and every other Netgsm module in any scenario will offer this same connection.

Build your first scenario with Netgsm

    Create the scenario

    Open the Scenarios page in Make, create a new scenario and click the big + to place the first module on the empty canvas.

    Add the incoming SMS trigger

    Search for Netgsm, pick Watch New Incoming SMS and click Create a connection to link your account with the API usercode and password. Then fill the fields the module asks for.

    Add the forwarding text

    Click the + on the right of the trigger and choose Netgsm Send a Message. Type your colleague's number as the recipient, then map into the message the SMS data the trigger returned, as seen after a first Run once.

    Test with Run once

    Send a text to your Netgsm line, then click Run once. Make runs the scenario one time and shows the bundles each module received: one bundle is one item, here one SMS. Check that your colleague got it.

    Schedule it and switch it on

    Click the clock on the first module to set the schedule: every 15 minutes by default, and never shorter than 15 minutes on the Free plan. Then switch the scenario on and it keeps running without you.

01Is the Netgsm Make integration free?
Yes on the Make side: Netgsm is a standard app, available from the Free plan. That plan allows 2 active scenarios, runs them at most every 15 minutes, stops each run after 5 minutes and caps transfer at 512 MB. Paid plans (Core, Pro, Teams, Enterprise) lower the interval to 1 minute and count usage in operations per month. Your Netgsm subscription is a separate matter: the Netgsm documentation asks for an active account, and Make says nothing about its price.
02What do you need to connect Netgsm to Make?
An active Netgsm account and valid API credentials. In Netgsm, go to Abonelik Islemleri then Alt Kullanici Hesaplari, create or select an API Alt Kullanici, and copy the API key shown as your subscriber number (usercode) plus the API password. In Make, add a Netgsm module, click Create a connection, give it a name if you like and paste those two values. The same connection then serves all 11 Netgsm modules.
03Do Netgsm triggers in Make react in real time?
No. Make's documentation gives no type, but all 3 Netgsm triggers are Watch modules read as scheduled, not instant (check the clock badge): Make checks Netgsm on the scenario's schedule instead of receiving a webhook. Use Make an API Call. It reaches any endpoint of the Netgsm API through the connection you already created, so a feature without its own module is still within reach.
