What you can automate

What can the Prospeo Make integration do for you?

The Prospeo Make integration lets a scenario, the automation you build in Make, ask Prospeo for contact and company data each time a new lead shows up somewhere else. All 14 modules are actions: they answer a request, they never start a scenario on their own. You decide which app feeds them.

A sales rep gets a work email without searching. A lead lands in your CRM with a first name, a last name and a company. Get Work Email from Person Name and Company asks Prospeo for the address, and the next module writes it back into the record.

A recruiter turns a profile link into a callable contact. When all you hold is a social profile URL, Get Verified Mobile Number of Person from Social URL and Get Verified Work Email from Social URL are built for that exact input.

A marketing team qualifies accounts before the first call. From a website or a company name, Get Company Details from a Company Website or Enrich a company adds the company profile to the row your team already tracks.

What the integration does not do: Prospeo has no trigger in Make, so something else must start the scenario. The Make documentation for this app also warns that it was generated by AI from Prospeo's own docs and may contain mistakes, so test every module with real data first. If a scenario stops with an error, the Make troubleshooting guide walks through the usual causes. Weighing another tool? The n8n vs Make comparison sets the two side by side, and the Make training covers scenario building from scratch.

Connect

How do you connect Prospeo to Make?

  1. 01

    Copy your Prospeo API key

You need an active Prospeo account and an API key. In Prospeo, open your account settings, go to the authentication section and copy the API key shown on screen. Keep it at hand for the next step.

  2. 02

    Add a Prospeo module

In your Make scenario, add any Prospeo module and click Create a connection. A connection is your Prospeo account linked to Make once, then reused by every Prospeo module. The Connection name field is optional, but a clear name helps later.

  3. 03

    Paste the key and save

Paste the API key you copied from Prospeo, or follow the on-screen instructions, and confirm. The connection now appears in the module, and every other Prospeo module in your scenarios can pick it from the list.

First scenario

Your first scenario with Prospeo

GoalWhen a new lead arrives in another app, Make asks Prospeo for the work email and the company profile, then passes both on.

  1. 01

    Create the scenario

Open the Scenarios page, create a new scenario and click the +. Pick the app that holds your leads as the first module, since Prospeo has no trigger: that app's module starts the flow.

  2. 02

    Add the email lookup

Click the + on the right of the first module, search Prospeo and choose Get Work Email from Person Name and Company. Select your connection or click Create a connection.

  3. 03

Map the lead's name and company

Fill the module fields by mapping the name and company that the first module outputs. Each lead travels as a bundle, one item passed from module to module.

  4. 04

    Add the company details

Add Get Details of a Company from Company Name after it and map the same company name, so each lead leaves the scenario with its account profile attached.

  5. 05

    Test with Run once

Click Run once to execute the scenario one time, then open each module's bubble to read the bundles it received. Fix the mapping until the email and company data look right.

  6. 06

    Schedule and switch on

Set the schedule on the first module, every 15 minutes by default, and switch the scenario on. Each module run on each lead counts as one operation on your Make plan.

Modules

What each Prospeo module does

Prospeo gives you 14 modules. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

Prospeo1

Get Verified Mobile Number of Person from Social URL

ActionIn the docs only

You get a verified mobile number for someone when a social profile link is the only thing you have. Its name points to that exact input, which fits lists built from profile research rather than forms.

When to use it
a recruiter saves candidate profile links in a sheet and wants a number to call before the first interview.
Watch out
map the full profile URL from the previous module; a name alone belongs to the name-and-company variant.
Prospeo2

Account information

ActionIn the docs only

This one tells you about your own Prospeo account rather than about a lead. It is the module to reach for when a scenario needs to check the account it runs on before doing any enrichment work.

When to use it
right after creating the connection, as a quick Run once to confirm that Make talks to the right Prospeo account.
Watch out
it still counts as an operation on your Make plan, so keep it out of loops over every lead.
Prospeo3

Enrich a company

ActionIn the docs only

Fills out a company record in one step, which saves you from choosing between website, name or profile lookups when the goal is simply a richer account. It is the broad option of the company modules.

When to use it
a new account enters your CRM and your team wants its profile completed before anyone reaches out.
Watch out
Make's documentation lists no input for this module, so open it in Make and check what input it expects before mapping.
Prospeo4

Enrich a person

ActionIn the docs only

Completes a contact record with what Prospeo knows about that person, the general-purpose counterpart to the lookups tied to an email, a name or a profile link. Start here when you are unsure which input you will have.

When to use it
a form signup comes in with partial details and sales wants a fuller picture of the person behind it.
Watch out
test it with Run once on a real contact and read the bundle before relying on any output field.
Prospeo5

Get Company Details from Social URL

ActionIn the docs only

Turns a company's social page link into company details you can store. Pick it over the website or name lookups when the link is the most reliable piece of data in your source list.

When to use it
an event export gives you company page links but messy company names, and you want clean account data in your sheet.
Watch out
a personal profile link is a different input; people lookups by URL have their own modules.
Prospeo6

Get Company Details from a Company Website

ActionIn the docs only

Brings back company details from a website address, handy because a domain is often the cleanest identifier a lead form collects. It avoids the spelling issues that come with company names.

When to use it
your demo request form asks for a company website, and the account owner wants the profile added before the call.
Watch out
map the website field, not the person's email, which is a separate input handled by the person modules.
Prospeo7

Get Details of a Company from Company Name

ActionIn the docs only

Looks up a company when all you hold is its name, which is the usual case with CRM imports and spreadsheets typed by hand. You get a company profile without hunting for its domain first.

When to use it
after an email lookup in the same scenario, to attach the account profile to each new contact.
Watch out
names are ambiguous, so when your source has a website or a page link, the dedicated modules are the safer choice.
Prospeo8

Get Person Details from Email

ActionIn the docs only

Starts from an email address you already have and returns details about the person behind it. It covers the reverse case: you know how to reach someone but not who they are.

When to use it
a newsletter signup arrives with an email only, and marketing wants to know whether it is a target account.
Watch out
run it once per new signup, not on your whole list at each run, since every lookup is an operation.
Prospeo9

Get Person Details from Social URL

ActionIn the docs only

Gives you a person's details from their social profile link, the right pick when prospecting starts from profiles rather than from emails. It sets up the contact record before you look for ways to reach them.

When to use it
a sales rep drops profile links into a shared list and wants each one turned into a structured contact.
Watch out
it returns details about the person; the email and mobile lookups by URL are separate modules with their own operation.
Prospeo10

Get Verified Work Email from Social URL

ActionIn the docs only

Hands you a verified work email from a social profile link, so outreach can start from a profile without a name and company search. The verified part of its name is what sets it apart from the plain email lookup.

When to use it
a cold outreach list is built from profiles, and every contact needs an address before it enters your sequence tool.
Watch out
plan a route in the next module for leads where no email comes back.
Prospeo11

Get Work Email from Person Name and Company

ActionIn the docs only

Finds a work email from a first name, a last name and a company, the fields almost every CRM and lead sheet already holds. It is the natural first module of an enrichment scenario.

When to use it
a trade show list arrives with names and employers only, and your team needs addresses to follow up.
Watch out
its name does not say verified, unlike the social URL version, so check a few results with Run once before sending anything.
Prospeo12

Get a Verified Mobile Number from Person Name and Company

ActionIn the docs only

Adds a verified mobile number to a contact from their name and company, for the moments when a phone call beats another email. It uses the same inputs as the work email lookup, so both can sit in one scenario.

When to use it
a hot lead requests a callback and the rep wants a direct line in the CRM record.
Watch out
each lookup is an operation, so call it only for leads that deserve a phone call.
Prospeo13

Get person details from name and company

ActionIn the docs only

Builds out a person's profile from their name and employer when you have no email or profile link yet. It sits one step before outreach, telling you who the contact is before you ask how to reach them.

When to use it
a partner shares a list of attendees with names and companies, and account managers want context on each one.
Watch out
map the company exactly as your source spells it; a wrong employer points the lookup at someone else.
Prospeo14

Make an API Call

ActionIn the docs only

Opens the whole Prospeo API to your scenario, with the same connection as the other modules. It covers any endpoint the 14 listed modules leave out, without setting up authentication a second time.

When to use it
the Prospeo API offers a request you need and no ready-made module in Make matches it.
Watch out
you write the request yourself from the Prospeo API documentation, so test it with Run once before switching the scenario on.

FAQ

Questions people ask about Prospeo and Make

01Is the Prospeo Make integration free?
Yes, on the Make side. Prospeo is a standard app, available from the Free plan. That plan allows 2 active scenarios, a minimum of 15 minutes between scheduled runs, up to 5 minutes per execution and 512 MB of data transfer. Paid plans (Core, Pro, Teams and Enterprise) lower the interval to 1 minute and count usage in credits, one per module run. The Prospeo side is separate: you need an active Prospeo account and an API key, and the subscription details are on Prospeo's pricing page.
02What do you need to connect Prospeo to Make?
An active Prospeo account and its API key. You find the key in the authentication section of your Prospeo account settings and copy it. In Make, add a Prospeo module, click Create a connection, give the connection a name if you like, then paste the key. That single connection then serves every Prospeo module in all your scenarios, so you only do this setup once per account. If the key is refused, open your Prospeo settings again and copy it fresh.
03Can a Prospeo scenario start on its own?
Not from Prospeo itself. All 14 modules are actions, and the app has no trigger that watches for changes. The scenario starts from something else: a trigger from the app that holds your leads, such as a form tool or a CRM, or simply the schedule on the first module, which runs every 15 minutes by default. Prospeo then works on each lead that flows in. On the Free plan, 15 minutes is also the shortest interval between scheduled runs.
04What if the Prospeo module you need is missing?
Use Make an API Call. It reaches any endpoint of the Prospeo API from your scenario and reuses the connection you already created, so there is nothing new to authorize. You write the request yourself, following the Prospeo API documentation. Keep in mind that the Make documentation for this app says it was generated by AI and may contain mistakes, so when a module behaves unexpectedly, check the vendor documentation or contact Prospeo directly.
05Should you use Make or n8n for Prospeo?
It depends on the tool your team already builds with. Many apps have a node in n8n as well as modules in Make, so check whether Prospeo does before deciding. On Make, you get 14 ready modules covering emails, verified mobiles, person and company details, plus Make an API Call for the rest. If your other automations already live in Make, keeping Prospeo there saves you a second setup and a second place to debug.
