    Generate an API key in Squarespace

    In Squarespace, open Settings, scroll to Advanced, then Developer API Keys. Click Generate Key, type a name under KEY NAME and tick the Commerce APIs you need under PERMISSIONS.

    Add a Squarespace module in Make

    In your scenario, add any Squarespace module and click Create a connection. The connection is your store linked to Make once; every Squarespace module reuses it. The Connection name field is optional but helps when you run two stores.

    Paste the key and save

    Copy the API key shown in the Squarespace modal and paste it into the connection window, or follow the on-screen instructions. Once saved, Make can list your orders and products inside each module.

01Is the Squarespace Make integration free?
Yes, Squarespace is a standard app in Make, available from the Free plan. That plan allows 2 active scenarios, a minimum of 15 minutes between scheduled runs, 5 minutes of execution per run, files up to 5 MB and 512 MB of data transfer. Paid plans (Core, Pro, Teams and Enterprise) lower the interval to 1 minute and allow unlimited active scenarios. Your Squarespace subscription is separate: the store still needs commerce features and API access.
02What do you need to connect Squarespace to Make?
You need an active Squarespace account with commerce features enabled and API access. In Squarespace, go to Settings, then Advanced, then Developer API Keys, and click Generate Key. Name the key, pick the Commerce APIs and permission level you want, and copy the key from the modal. In Make, add a Squarespace module, click Create a connection and paste the key. Use Make an API Call. It reaches any endpoint of the Squarespace API with the same connection, so you can cover what the 26 listed modules leave out.
