10xCRM Zapier integrationAutomate 10xCRM with Zapier.
The 10xCRM Zapier integration gives you 0 triggers, 1 action and 0 searches. That is one move, nothing more: another tool spots a new contact and Zapier writes it into 10xCRM as a lead, or refreshes the lead that is already there.

What the 10xCRM Zapier integration actually does
It is a one-way pipe into your CRM. Zapier, the no-code automation service, watches some other app you already use, and when something new shows up there it hands the details to 10xCRM through a single action, Create/Update Lead. 10xCRM never starts anything on its own side.
Three results people build with that one action. A lead record per form entry: a contact form or a sign-up sheet fills up, and each new person lands in 10xCRM without anyone copying it over. A lead that stays current: because the action updates a lead that already exists instead of duplicating it, a second sign-up from the same person refreshes the record. A single inbox for leads from several sources: two or three Zaps, each starting from a different tool, all end on the same Create/Update Lead step, so sales works from one list.
Now the honest part. Zapier does not let 10xCRM start a Zap: there is no trigger, so a new lead, a call or a text inside 10xCRM cannot set anything off in another app. There is no search step either, so a Zap cannot look up a 10xCRM record and reuse it further down. And nothing in the Zapier listing touches the phone, text or email side of the product. If your plan depends on any of that, check the n8n vs Zapier comparison before you build, or read our Zapier review to see where the platform fits overall.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words come back on this page. Here is each one in plain English, once.
- Zap
- The automation you set up in Zapier: one starting event, then one or more steps that run every time that event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that kicks off the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier sits and waits for it. 10xCRM has none.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes or sends something for you, here a lead saved in 10xCRM.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills you for: one action that completes successfully. Your plan allowance is a count of those.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer. An instant trigger is reported by the app itself the moment the event happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when what arrived matches a condition you set, and quietly stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your 10xCRM account linked to Zapier one time, then reused by every step that talks to 10xCRM.
What it really costs to run
10xCRM is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan. The bill is counted in tasks.
- Premium appNo, available on the free plan
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
- BilledEach successful Create/Update Lead
- Not billedThe trigger, the checks, failed actions
The trigger never costs a task, and neither does Zapier checking for new data. Each Create/Update Lead that goes through counts as one task; one that fails is not charged. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but only two-step Zaps: one trigger, one action. Add a filter or a second action and you have a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. Only the action count matters, not how often Zapier checks.
Connect your 10xCRM account
- 01
Open your connections
In Zapier, go to the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. You need a 10xCRM account first, plus access rights on any records you do not own yourself and want the Zap to write to.
- 02
Pick 10xCRM
Type 10xCRM in the search box of the dialog, select it from the results, then click Add connection. A new browser tab opens on the 10xCRM side, ready for your login.
- 03
Sign in and allow access
Log in to 10xCRM in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. The connection now shows up in your list, and every Zap that writes a lead will reuse it.
Your first Zap: a sheet row becomes a 10xCRM lead
GoalEvery new row in a lead sheet ends up as a lead in 10xCRM, but only when it carries an email.
- 01
Build: pick the starting app
Create a Zap and choose the tool where leads appear first, here a spreadsheet and its new-row event. 10xCRM cannot be the starting app, since it has no trigger.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent rows of the connected sheet, so you map the next steps on a real lead instead of a guess.
- 03
Add the filter
Click the plus icon, choose Filter, and set the email field to the rule that it exists. Rows without one stop here. This step makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.
- 04
Add Create/Update Lead
Pick 10xCRM and Create/Update Lead, choose the module, click Refresh Fields, then map each module field to the matching column of the row.
- 05
Test, then publish
Run the action once and open 10xCRM to check the lead it wrote. If it looks right, click Publish to switch the Zap on for good.
The 10xCRM action, explained
10xCRM gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Create/Update Lead
ActionIn Zapier“Create or update a 10xCRM lead. If the lead already exist, then lead will be updated.”
Writes a lead into 10xCRM from whatever the earlier steps collected. If that lead is already in the CRM, the action refreshes it rather than adding a second copy.
When it breaks
Zapier attaches no help article and no documented rate limit to 10xCRM. What goes wrong comes from how Zaps work in general.
Four cases show up again and again on CRM-feeding Zaps. None is specific to 10xCRM, all of them will hit you sooner or later. When a Zap misbehaves, our Zapier troubleshooting guide walks through the usual fixes.
Old leads never arrive
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Contacts already in your sheet or form stay where they are; moving that backlog is a separate job.The Zap keeps restarting itself
If a later step writes back into the very sheet or tool the trigger watches, the Zap sets itself off again and again and eats your task count fast.A bulk import gets held back
After a migration or a big paste of rows, the trigger suddenly returns a huge batch. Zapier's flood protection can pause it instead of pushing everything into 10xCRM.The same row does not run twice
On a polling trigger Zapier remembers what it has already seen, so the same new row never starts the Zap twice and 10xCRM gets one lead from it, by design.
