What the AgentBright Zapier integration is for
AgentBright helps real estate agents nurture relationships: it is where an agent keeps the people they want to stay in touch with. Zapier connects it to other apps. Here the connection runs one way only: other tools feed AgentBright, and AgentBright starts nothing on its own.
Three results worth building. Every booked viewing becomes a contact: when a buyer picks a slot in Calendly, Create Contact adds them to AgentBright, so the follow-up starts from a real record. Ad leads stop living in a spreadsheet: people who answer a Facebook lead ad go straight into AgentBright instead of a download someone forgets to import. Open house sign-ins kept for later: a sign-in form filled at the door adds each visitor as a contact the agent can nurture over the following months.
Now what Zapier cannot do for AgentBright. There is no trigger, so a new contact, a note or a birthday inside AgentBright will never start a Zap. There is no search, so a Zap cannot check whether a person already exists before adding them. And the only action creates: it does not update, tag or delete a contact. Any of those steps stays manual, inside AgentBright.
Hack'celeration has no n8n or Make page for AgentBright yet. The n8n vs Zapier comparison lays out the criteria if you are still choosing, and the Zapier training walks through building a Zap from scratch.
Zapier words, in plain English
Seven terms carry this page. Each gets one line here and is used as is afterwards.
- Zap
- A finished automation on Zapier: something happens in a first app, and one or more steps follow on their own, every time.
- Trigger
- The event that starts a Zap. AgentBright has none, so the trigger always comes from another app, such as a booking or a form.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: it writes, sends or moves something for you. Here, it adds a contact to AgentBright.
- Task
- One action that went through, which is what Zapier counts against the monthly allowance of your plan.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer; an instant one is pushed by its app the moment it happens. It depends on the source app.
- Filter
- A checkpoint step: the Zap carries on only if what came in meets the rule you set, otherwise it stops right there.
- Connection
- Your AgentBright account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every Zap step that writes into AgentBright.
What it really costs to run
AgentBright is not a premium app, so it works on the free plan. You pay in tasks, and only for actions that succeed.
- Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps
- Free plan Zap size2 steps: one trigger, one action
- Premium appNo
- Cost of one new contact1 task
Each contact that Create Contact adds counts as one task. The trigger of the other app costs nothing, and neither does Zapier checking that app for new items, however often it does. An action that fails is not counted. A Zap with three actions uses three times the tasks of a one-action Zap. The free plan stops at two steps, one trigger and one action, which happens to be exactly what an AgentBright Zap needs. Add a filter or a second action and it turns into a multi-step Zap on a paid plan.

When the Zap breaks, and why
Zapier attaches no help article to AgentBright, so the known failure points are the ones every Zap shares.
Since the trigger always lives in another app, most of these cases start on that side, not in AgentBright. They rarely announce themselves with a clear error. The Zapier troubleshooting page explains how to read a failed run.
Earlier leads never arrive
A Zap reacts only to what happens after it is switched on. Leads and bookings already in the source app stay there, and importing them is a separate job.A Zap that sets itself off
Point a trigger at the very place the Zap writes into and every run starts the next one. Keep the source and AgentBright apart, or your task count drains fast.A sudden batch held back
Bulk-load a list into the source app, say after a migration, and its trigger may hand Zapier a huge batch in one go, which the flood protection can hold back. The same item never runs twice
When the source app uses a polling trigger, Zapier remembers what it has already seen, so one item does not start the Zap a second time.
