BurstyAI Zapier integrationAutomate BurstyAI with Zapier.

BurstyAI Zapier integration in short: 1 action (Run Workflow), 0 triggers and 0 searches. Another app always starts the Zap, then BurstyAI runs one of its AI workflows on the values that app handed over. That is the whole catalog.

Overview

What the BurstyAI Zapier integration actually does

The BurstyAI Zapier integration lets another app pass data to BurstyAI and start one of its no-code AI workflows, the ones built for content, SEO, email outreach and influencer or partner work. On the BurstyAI side, Zapier knows exactly one move: Run Workflow. What the workflow produces stays inside BurstyAI.

Three results people build with that single action. A keyword list: a topic lands in a spreadsheet and the keyword ideas workflow runs on it. A first content draft: a form answer feeds a writing workflow, so nobody pastes the brief by hand. An outreach batch: a fresh lead in your pipeline goes into an email or partner workflow as soon as the upstream trigger picks it up. Each one is the same Run Workflow step, fed with different inputs from a different app.

Now the part the app page skips. BurstyAI has no trigger on Zapier, so nothing that happens inside BurstyAI can start a Zap. There is no search step either. The Zap pushes work in; you read the output in BurstyAI. That is a one-way street, and it is worth knowing before you plan a chain of five steps around it.

Comparing tools? The BurstyAI Make integration covers the same app on Make, and Make vs Zapier puts both platforms side by side, criterion by criterion.

Vocabulary

Zapier vocabulary in one minute

Seven words come back on every line of this page. Here they are in plain English.

Zap
Your automation on Zapier: something happens in a first app, then one or more steps follow, here ending with a BurstyAI workflow.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is switched on, Zapier sits and waits for that event.
Action
What the Zap does after it starts. Here, the action asks BurstyAI to run one of your AI workflows.
Task
What Zapier bills: one action that completes successfully. The number on your plan is a count of those.
Polling vs instant
A polling trigger is checked on a timer for new items. An instant trigger is reported by the app the moment the event occurs.
Filter
A checkpoint before Run Workflow: only the rows that meet your rule reach BurstyAI, the others stop there.
Connection
Your BurstyAI login, linked to Zapier once and offered again in every Run Workflow step you add later.
Cost

What a BurstyAI Zap really costs

The trigger never costs a task, and neither do the checks Zapier runs looking for new data. Only a completed action is billed.

  • Free plan100 tasks per month, unlimited Zaps
  • Free plan Zap sizeTwo steps: one trigger, one action
  • Premium appNo, it runs on the free plan
  • Cost of the triggerZero tasks, however often it checks

Each successful Run Workflow counts as one task. A run that fails is not counted against your plan. BurstyAI is not a premium app, so the free plan works, with one catch: it only builds two-step Zaps. Add a filter or a second action and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. The free plan's polling interval is 15 minutes, which matters if the starting app polls rather than reports instantly.

Connect

Connect your BurstyAI account in three steps

  1. 01

    Open the connections page

In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. You need a BurstyAI account first, plus access to any workflow you did not create yourself.

  2. 02

    Find BurstyAI

Type BurstyAI in the search box of the dialog, pick it from the list, then click Add connection. A new browser tab then opens on the BurstyAI side so you can sign in.

  3. 03

    Sign in and grant access

Log in to BurstyAI in that tab and allow Zapier to use the account. From then on, every Zap step that uses BurstyAI reuses this connection without asking again.

First Zap

Your first BurstyAI Zap

GoalSend every new topic added to a sheet into a BurstyAI keyword workflow, but only when the row is marked ready.

  1. 01

    Pick the starting app

Create a Zap and choose the app and event that start it. BurstyAI cannot play that role, so pick the tool where your topics or leads arrive first.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items from that account, so you map fields on a real row instead of an empty template.

  3. 03

    Add the filter

From the plus icon, add a Filter step, set the field, the rule and the value. Remember: this makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.

  4. 04

    Add Run Workflow

Choose BurstyAI and Run Workflow, paste the Workflow ID, then fill Required Parameters JSON with the values coming from the trigger.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Test each step once and read what came back before moving on. When the result looks right, click Publish to switch the Zap on.

Actions

The BurstyAI action on Zapier

BurstyAI gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

Run Workflow

Action

In Zapier“Trigger an AI workflow”

Starts one of your BurstyAI AI workflows with the inputs the earlier steps carried, so the content, keyword or outreach job runs without you opening BurstyAI.

When to use it
a new topic, lead or brief shows up in another tool and should go straight into a workflow.
Watch out
the Workflow ID comes from the workflow's URL in the BurstyAI API docs, and Required Parameters JSON must be filled too.
When it breaks

When a BurstyAI Zap breaks

Zapier links no help article to BurstyAI, so the usual failure points come from Zapier itself.

Four of them catch beginners most often. None is specific to BurstyAI, but each one hits a Zap whose only BurstyAI step is an action fed by somebody else's trigger.

  • Old rows are never processed

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Topics already sitting in your sheet stay untouched; moving that backlog is a separate job.
  • The Zap keeps firing itself

If a later step writes back into the very sheet or list the trigger watches, the Zap sets itself off again and again and eats through your task count fast.
  • A bulk import gets held back

Paste a huge batch into the source app after a migration and Zapier's flood protection can pause the trigger instead of sending every row to BurstyAI.
  • Duplicates are filtered out

On a polling trigger, Zapier remembers what it has already seen, so the same item never starts the Zap twice. Edit a row and expect no second run.

FAQ

BurstyAI Zapier integration: common questions

01Is the BurstyAI Zapier integration free?
Yes, on the Zapier side it works on the free plan, because BurstyAI is not a premium app. The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month and as many Zaps as you like. The limit people miss is the size of each Zap: two steps only, one trigger and one action. Since BurstyAI has no trigger of its own, that single action slot goes to Run Workflow and the trigger comes from another app. Adding a filter or a second action pushes you onto a paid plan. Whatever BurstyAI charges for its own workflows is a separate question this page does not cover.
02How many Zapier tasks does a BurstyAI workflow use?
One per successful Run Workflow. The trigger that starts the Zap costs nothing, and neither do the checks Zapier makes while waiting for new data. A run that fails is not counted against your plan. The math only changes when you add actions: a Zap with three actions that all succeed uses three tasks per run. So a sheet that receives forty new topics in a month, each sent to one workflow, uses forty tasks on Zapier. Keep an eye on loops, though, because a Zap that retriggers itself can burn the whole monthly count quickly.
03Does BurstyAI run in real time with Zapier?
It depends entirely on the app that starts the Zap, because BurstyAI has no trigger on Zapier. If that starting app offers an instant trigger, it reports the event right away and the workflow runs straight after, on any plan. If it uses a polling trigger, Zapier checks for new items on a timer: every 15 minutes on Free, every 2 minutes on Professional, every minute on Team and Enterprise. The type is set by the starting app and cannot be changed in the editor. An instant trigger shows a lightning bolt there, which is the quickest way to tell.
04What do you need to connect BurstyAI to Zapier?
A BurstyAI account, plus access to any workflow you did not create yourself. The connection takes three moves: open Apps in Zapier, click + Add connection, search for BurstyAI, then sign in on the tab that opens and grant access. After that the connection is saved and reused by every Zap. The real prerequisite shows up later, in the action itself. Run Workflow asks for a Workflow ID, which you copy from the workflow's URL in the BurstyAI API docs, and for the Required Parameters JSON field. Without both, the step cannot be tested.
05Where do you find the BurstyAI Workflow ID?
In the BurstyAI API docs. Open the workflow you want in those docs, then copy the ID from the page's URL and paste it into the Workflow ID field of Run Workflow. The field is mandatory, so the action cannot be tested without it. Required Parameters JSON is mandatory too: it carries the inputs the workflow expects, usually mapped from the trigger. If a test returns an error, check that the ID points to the right workflow and that every required input has a value coming from an earlier step.
06What if the BurstyAI operation you need is not on Zapier?
Then Zapier cannot do it for you today. Zapier exposes a single BurstyAI operation, Run Workflow, with no trigger and no search step. That rules out starting a Zap when a BurstyAI run ends, or fetching a finished result into another tool from the Zap editor. The workaround is to keep BurstyAI as the last stop of the Zap and read its output in BurstyAI. If the missing piece is essential, it is worth checking whether the same app on Make or n8n exposes more operations before you build anything around it.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for BurstyAI?
It depends on your criteria, not on a ranking. Compare three things: which BurstyAI operations each tool exposes, how each one bills a run, and who will maintain the automation. On Zapier the answers are on this page: one action, no trigger, no search, one task per successful Run Workflow, and a two-step Zap on the free plan. Put the same three questions to Make and n8n, then pick the tool whose limits you can live with for this specific workflow.
