CS-Cart Zapier integrationAutomate CS-Cart with Zapier.
The CS-Cart Zapier integration offers 3 triggers, 3 actions and 1 search. All three triggers are instant: a new order, product or customer reaches Zapier as it happens. Here is what each step does, what it costs, and where your store's Zaps can trip.

What the CS-Cart Zapier integration does for your store
CS-Cart is e-commerce software for online stores and multi-vendor marketplaces. Connected to Zapier, it can start automations when an order, a product or a customer is created, and it can receive orders from other tools to create an order, in a single store or in a Multi-Vendor marketplace, or to add a product.
Three results store owners build first. Every order where it needs to go: New Order hands each sale to your accounting, shipping or CRM tool the moment it is placed. A catalogue kept in two places: New Product and Create Product copy new items from one store to another. Orders recorded from outside: Create Order (For CS-Cart) and Create Order (For Multi-Vendor) log sales made elsewhere, at a trade fair or by phone, into the store.
The three triggers are instant: CS-Cart tells Zapier itself, so the free plan reacts as fast as the others.
What the integration does not do: nothing here edits an existing order or product, or reacts when an order changes state after it is placed. Creating an order also takes CS-Cart's internal IDs for the customer, the shipping method and the payment method, so the source tool has to supply those IDs.

Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words come back across the page. Here they are, plainly.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time that trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. CS-Cart has three: a new order, a new product, a new customer.
- Action
- What the Zap does once started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, like creating a product.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action the Zap completes successfully; your plan counts those, nothing else.
- Polling vs instant
- Polling: Zapier checks the app on a timer. Instant: the app tells Zapier itself, the way all CS-Cart triggers do.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets your condition, such as a price above zero.
- Search step
- A step that looks up something already in an app, such as a category by its name, for the steps that follow.
What a CS-Cart Zap really costs
Zapier bills completed actions. Triggers and failures are free.
- Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps, one trigger plus one action each
- CS-Cart on the free planYes, it is not a premium app
- Trigger speedAll 3 triggers are instant, whatever your plan
None of the three CS-Cart triggers costs a task, however many orders come in. Each action that works costs one: copying every new product to a second store is one task per product. Failed actions are not counted. CS-Cart is not a premium app, so it runs on the free plan, which gives 100 tasks a month and two-step Zaps only. The triggers are instant, so the polling grid below never slows them. A filter, a search or a second action makes the Zap multi-step, and that requires a paid plan.
Connect CS-Cart to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open Apps and add a connection
In your Zapier account, go to the Apps page and click + Add connection. In the dialog that opens, search for CS-Cart by name and select it from the results list.
- 02
Sign in to CS-Cart
Click Add connection. A new tab opens on CS-Cart: sign in with an account that can manage the store's orders and products. For two stores, make one connection each.
- 03
Grant access
Approve the access Zapier asks for. The connection is saved once, and every CS-Cart step in every Zap you build reuses it without asking you to sign in again.
Your first Zap: copy new products to your outlet store
GoalEach time a product is created in the main CS-Cart store, Zapier creates it in the outlet store and lets the merchandising team know in chat.
- 01
Pick the trigger
Under Build, choose CS-Cart and New Product, then the connection of the main store. It is instant, and each product starts the Zap once, when it is created.
- 02
Test with real products
Run the Test. Zapier brings back the three most recent products of the store. Check that what came back includes the product name and price: Create Product requires both.
- 03
Add Create Product
Pick Create Product with the outlet store's connection, never the main one, or the new product would set the Zap off again. Map the name and the price from the trigger.
- 04
Tell the team
Add your chat app and a message with the product name. This second action makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan; drop it to stay on the free one.
- 05
Test and publish
Test each step, check the product in the outlet store, then click Publish. From now on, each product added to the main store gets its twin.
The 3 CS-Cart triggers
3 events start a Zap when something happens in CS-Cart, and 3 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
New Order
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new order is created.”
Starts the Zap each time an order is placed in the store. It is the event most store automations hang on: invoicing, shipping labels, customer follow-up and stock alerts all start from a sale.
New Product
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new product is created.”
Sends each product to Zapier as soon as it is created in the catalogue, including products that arrive through an import. A good starting point for anything that must follow a catalogue addition.
New Customer
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new customer is created.”
Fires when a customer account is created in the store, and passes the new customer to Zapier so other tools learn about them straight away.
The 3 CS-Cart actions, grouped by intent
CS-Cart gives you 3 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Create Order (For CS-Cart)
ActionIn Zapier“Creates an Order in CS-Cart.”
Records an order in a standard CS-Cart store, with the storefront, customer, shipping and payment method, product and amount.
Create Order (For Multi-Vendor)
ActionIn Zapier“Creates an order in Multi-Vendor.”
Does the same in a CS-Cart Multi-Vendor marketplace, without the storefront field.
Create Product
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a product.”
Adds a product to the store's catalogue from just two required pieces: a product name and a price.
The CS-Cart search
1 search step looks for data that already exists in CS-Cart, so a later step can use it.
A search step looks up something already in CS-Cart and passes it on. In the editor, searches sit at the bottom of the Action event list, under SEARCH. Three settings decide what happens when the result is unexpected.
Find Category by Name
SearchIn Zapier“Finds a Category”
Looks up a catalogue category from its name and hands it to the next steps.
The three settings every search exposes
- Successful if no search results are found?Left on its default, a search that finds nothing stops the Zap and skips the steps that depend on it. Switched on, the Zap carries on without a result.
- Create X if it doesn't exist yet? This box turns a search into a find-or-create. CS-Cart offers no such variant for Find Category by Name, so it does not apply.
- If multiple search results are found?Three ways out when several categories match: keep the first one, the default, stop the Zap, or hand all of them on at once.
When a CS-Cart Zap breaks
CS-Cart publishes no specific limit through Zapier. The traps come from how its triggers and actions meet.
Four cases explain most of the surprises, and none of them shows during the build. They appear once orders and products start flowing. If a run fails for a reason not covered here, the Zapier troubleshooting page walks through the checks.
The Zap that copies itself forever
Create Product behind New Product on the same store, or Create Order behind New Order, sets off the trigger again on every run until the task count runs dry.A catalogue import pauses the Zap
Importing hundreds of products at once makes New Product report a huge batch. Zapier's flood protection can hold those runs back rather than process them all.The order step cannot find its IDs
Both order actions need CS-Cart IDs for the customer, shipping and payment. A name or an email from another tool is not an ID, so the step has nothing valid.Past orders and customers are skipped
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you publish it. Orders, products and customers already in the store are never sent; that backlog is a separate job.
