IQM Reports Zapier integrationAutomate IQM Reports with Zapier.
On Zapier, IQM Reports comes down to 1 action, 0 triggers and 0 searches. The IQM Reports Zapier integration builds a CSV report of your ad-serving data whenever another app starts the Zap. Below: what it costs, how to connect it, and where it breaks.

What the IQM Reports Zapier integration actually does
The IQM Reports Zapier integration plugs your IQM Reports account into Zapier, the service that chains apps together without code. On the IQM side it does exactly one job: the Generate CSV Report action turns your ad-serving figures into a CSV file you can pass on to the next step. It runs when something happens in another app, never on its own.
Three outcomes worth building. A report on request: an account manager adds a row to a tracking sheet, and the CSV gets produced without anyone logging into IQM Reports. A report only when it counts: a filter lets through the requests that meet a condition (a campaign flagged as ready, for example), so the noise never reaches the reporting step. A report inside a longer routine: Generate CSV Report becomes one of several actions in the same Zap, next to steps in your other tools.
What Zapier does not do for this app matters just as much. IQM Reports exposes no trigger, so a change in your ad-serving data can never start a Zap by itself. It exposes no search either: a Zap cannot look up an existing campaign or report in IQM Reports. Every scenario starts in another tool, and the IQM step comes second. If that shape doesn't suit you, the IQM Reports Make integration covers the same app on another platform, and the n8n vs Zapier comparison is there if you are weighing platforms.
The Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Eight words you will meet in the editor. Read them once, the rest of the page uses them without a reminder.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts a Zap. IQM Reports has none, so on this page another app always plays that part.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: it writes, sends or moves something for you. Here, Generate CSV Report.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action that completes successfully. Your plan caps how many tasks you get each month.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger gets checked by Zapier on a timer. An instant trigger reports the event itself the moment it happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when the incoming data meets your condition, and stops it quietly otherwise.
- Search step
- A step that looks up an item that already exists in an app, so later steps can use it. IQM Reports offers none.
- Connection
- Your IQM Reports account, linked to Zapier once, then picked from a list by every step that calls IQM Reports.
What a CSV report costs you on Zapier
Short version: the trigger costs nothing, and each Generate CSV Report that succeeds costs one task. IQM Reports is not a premium app, so it runs on the free plan.
- TriggerNever costs a task
- Generate CSV Report1 task per success
- Free plan100 tasks a month, 2 steps per Zap
- Premium appNo, works on the free plan
A failed action is not counted. Checking the trigger app for new data is free too, however often it happens. In a Zap with several actions, each one that succeeds counts on its own, so three actions per run means three tasks. The catch is the free plan: 100 tasks a month and Zaps of two steps only. Add a filter, a search or a second action and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. How often a polling trigger checks also depends on the plan (grid below).
Connect IQM Reports to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open Apps and start a connection
In your Zapier account, open the Apps page and click + Add connection. A dialog opens: type IQM Reports in its search box and pick the app from the results.
- 02
Confirm and sign in to IQM Reports
Click Add connection. A new browser tab opens on IQM Reports. Sign in with the account that holds the reporting data you want to see in your CSV files.
- 03
Grant access and reuse it everywhere
Grant Zapier access to that account. Zapier stores it as a connection, and every IQM Reports step picks it from a list from now on. You need your own account, plus read or write access on anything you don't own.
Your first Zap: a CSV report when a sheet row says go
GoalWhen a new row lands in a tracking sheet and is marked ready, generate the IQM Reports CSV for it.
- 01
Create the Zap and pick its trigger
Create a new Zap. IQM Reports has no trigger, so choose the app where requests arrive (here, a spreadsheet) and the event that should start everything.
- 02
Test the trigger on real data
Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items of the connected account, so you map the next steps on a real row rather than a guess.
- 03
Add the filter
Click the plus icon, choose Filter, then set the field, the rule and the value. Pick a text rule for text: the wrong rule type is why a filter never passes. This step needs a paid plan.
- 04
Add Generate CSV Report
Add an action step, pick IQM Reports, then Generate CSV Report. Select the connection you created earlier and map the values that come from the sheet row.
- 05
Test, then publish
Test the action once and read what came back before going further. When the result looks right, click Publish to switch the Zap on. From then on, each passing row costs one task.
The IQM Reports action on Zapier
IQM Reports gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Generate CSV Report
ActionIn Zapier“Creates a CSV report from ad-serving data.”
This step asks IQM Reports for a report built from your ad-serving data and returns it as a CSV, ready for whatever your process needs next. It is the only IQM Reports operation Zapier offers.
When the IQM Reports Zap breaks
Zapier links no help article to IQM Reports, and no limit specific to the app is documented. What breaks is therefore the Zap around it.
Four cases come back often enough to check before you publish. In each one the Zap does less, or more, than you expected. If one keeps you stuck, see Zapier troubleshooting.
No report for older requests
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Rows or requests that already existed are never picked up, and catching up on them is a separate job.The Zap keeps firing itself
If you add a step that writes into the very place the trigger watches, the Zap sets itself off again and again, and each loop costs a CSV report task.A bulk import goes quiet
When the trigger app suddenly returns a huge batch, after an import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold the batch back instead of running every report. The filter never lets anything through
Filter rules are typed: a text rule only works on text, a number rule only on numbers. Pick the wrong one and no request ever reaches Generate CSV Report.
