Overview

What the Landingi Zapier integration does for you

Landingi lets people without coding skills build and tune their own landing pages. The Zapier integration takes over at the form: each time a visitor fills one in, whether on a page, a lightbox or a popup, the lead goes to Zapier, which runs the steps you chose in your other tools.

A CRM that fills itself. New Lead From Landing Page creates a contact for every sign-up, so nobody has to export form results by hand.

A follow-up for a lightbox offer. New Lead From Lightbox sends the person who grabbed your offer straight to an email list, and the sequence starts while the interest is fresh.

A team ping for popup sign-ups. New Lead From PopUp posts a message in your team chat, so nobody has to check the Landingi dashboard to spot a hot visitor.

What Zapier does not do here: Landingi has no action and no search on Zapier. A Zap cannot publish a page, change a form or look up a lead inside Landingi. Data only flows out of it. Each trigger also watches one form on one page, lightbox or popup, never all of them at once.

Before you commit, see our Landingi Make integration page and our Make vs Zapier comparison. On Zapier, Landingi offers three triggers, all instant, and no action.

Vocabulary

Zapier vocabulary in one minute

Eight words carry this page. Here is each one in plain terms.

Zap
The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time that trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap. With Landingi, it is a new lead on a chosen form; once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
Action
What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, here always in another app.
Task
The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action your Zap completes successfully, and the count on your plan is a count of those.
Polling trigger
A trigger Zapier checks on a timer: it asks the app for new items at a fixed interval and keeps only what it has not seen.
Instant trigger
A trigger the app reports itself: it calls Zapier the moment the event happens. All three Landingi triggers work this way.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it right there otherwise.
Multi-step Zap
Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter turns a Zap into one, and it then needs a paid plan.
Cost

What a Landingi lead costs in tasks

The three Landingi triggers never cost a task. Waiting for leads is free too. You only pay for the actions that follow, one task per action that succeeds.

  • Trigger cost0 tasks
  • Free plan100 tasks a month
  • Steps per Zap on Free2 (trigger + 1 action)
  • Premium appNo

A failed action is not counted. A Zap with three actions uses three times more tasks than a Zap with one. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but each Zap stops at two steps: one Landingi trigger plus one action. A filter or a second action needs a paid plan. Landingi is not a premium app, so the free plan covers it. And since all three triggers are instant, the polling grid below never slows them down.

Connect

Connect your Landingi account

  1. 01

    Open your connections

In Zapier, open the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. You need a Landingi account, plus access to the pages whose leads you want if someone else owns them.

  2. 02

    Pick Landingi

Type Landingi into the search box of the dialog, select it in the results, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the Landingi side to sign you in.

  3. 03

    Sign in and grant access

Log in to Landingi in that tab and allow Zapier to reach the account. The connection is then stored once, and every Zap that uses Landingi reuses it without asking again.

First Zap

Your first Zap: landing page lead to CRM and team chat

GoalEach lead from a chosen landing page form becomes a CRM contact and pings your team chat.

  1. 01

    Choose the trigger

Create a Zap, pick Landingi as the app that starts it and New Lead From Landing Page as the event. Then select the connection you made above.

  2. 02

Point it at the right form

Choose the landing page by name, then the Form ID. Open the Landingi editor beside Zapier to confirm the ID, since a wrong one keeps the Zap waiting for leads that never come.

  3. 03

    Test on real leads

Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent leads of the account, so the mapping is done on a real one. If nothing comes back, fill in the form yourself first.

  4. 04

Add the CRM and the alert

Add your CRM's action that creates a contact and map the lead's fields. A second action posting in your team chat makes it a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Test each step once and read what came back. When the contact and the message look right, click Publish. The lightning bolt in the editor confirms the trigger is instant.

Triggers

The three Landingi Zapier integration triggers

3 events start a Zap when something happens in Landingi, and 3 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.

1

New Lead From Lightbox

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new lead from chosen form on Lightbox is created.”

A lightbox is the window that opens over a Landingi page. This trigger starts your Zap each time someone fills in the chosen form inside that window.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
a lightbox hands out a guide or a discount and you want the person in your email tool before they close the tab.
Watch out
the Form ID is tied to the lightbox you selected; change the lightbox and the ID has to be picked again.
2

New Lead From Landing Page

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new lead from chosen form is created.”

The one aimed at the page itself. Pick one landing page and one of its forms, and every submission on that form reaches Zapier as a new lead, ready to be copied into another app.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
a campaign page collects demo requests and you follow your contacts in a CRM, not in Landingi.
Watch out
one Zap follows one page; a second campaign page needs its own Zap or a copy of this one, with its own Form ID.
3

New Lead From PopUp

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new lead from the chosen form on Lightbox is created.”

A popup is a form that appears during a visit to a Landingi page. This trigger turns each form sent from the chosen popup into a Zap run.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan.
When to use it
a last-chance popup gathers newsletter sign-ups and you want them tagged apart from page leads in your list.
Watch out
swapping the popup in the settings leaves the old Form ID behind, so pick the form again before you test.
When it breaks

When a Landingi Zap breaks

Zapier links no help article to Landingi, and no limit specific to the app is documented. The cases below come from how Zapier works in general, plus the form settings of the triggers.

None of these cases throws an error at setup. They show up later, as a missing lead or a task count that climbs too fast. If one hits you, see our Zapier troubleshooting page.

  • Leads from before the Zap never arrive

A Zap only reacts to leads that come in after it is switched on. Everything already stored in Landingi stays there, and moving it is a separate job.
  • The wrong Form ID

Each trigger watches one form by its ID. Pick the wrong ID, or keep an old one after changing the page, lightbox or popup, and no lead ever reaches the Zap.
  • A bulk import gets held back

When a huge batch of leads appears at once, after an import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back instead of running every item.
  • A filter that never passes

Filter rules are typed: a text rule only works on text, a number rule only on numbers. The wrong type blocks every lead, and the filter also needs a paid plan.

FAQ

Questions about the Landingi Zapier integration

01Is the Landingi Zapier integration free?
Yes, the free plan can use it. Landingi is not a premium app, so it works without paying Zapier. That plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, with one limit few people notice: two steps per Zap, meaning one Landingi trigger plus one action. Add a second action or a filter and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. Plan prices change often, so check them on Zapier before committing.
02How many tasks does a Landingi lead use?
One task per action that succeeds, and none for the trigger. The three Landingi triggers never cost a task, and waiting for leads is free as well. A Zap that creates a contact and then sends a message uses two tasks per lead. An action that fails is not counted. To size your plan, multiply the leads you expect each month by the number of actions, keeping in mind the free plan stops at 100 tasks.
03Does Landingi send leads to Zapier in real time?
Yes, on all three triggers. Each one is instant: Landingi calls Zapier as soon as the form is sent, and the Zap starts right away. The plan interval grid, from 15 minutes on Free down to 1 minute on Team and Enterprise, only applies to polling triggers. It never delays these. The type comes from the app and cannot be changed in the editor; the lightning bolt next to the Zap confirms it.
04What does connecting a Landingi account take?
A Landingi account and a Zapier account. From the Apps page in Zapier, click + Add connection, search Landingi, click Add connection, sign in in the tab that opens and grant access. If the pages belong to someone else, you also need read or write access to them. Then, inside each Zap, the trigger asks for the page, lightbox or popup name and a Form ID, which you can check in the Landingi editor.
05Why does a Landingi Zap receive no leads?
Most often because of the Form ID. Each trigger follows one form on one page, lightbox or popup, picked by its ID. If the ID is wrong, or if you changed the page above without picking the form again, leads land somewhere the Zap is not watching. Check the ID in the Landingi editor and test again. Also remember that leads collected before the Zap was published are never sent.
06What if the operation you need is not available?
Then Zapier cannot do it with Landingi today. The app offers three triggers and no action or search: a Zap cannot create a page, edit a form or look up an existing lead inside Landingi. Data only travels out of it. Anything that must happen inside Landingi stays a manual step, done in the app itself, outside any Zap. Check the app page on Zapier from time to time for new operations.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Landingi?
It depends on your criteria, not on a winner. Zapier covers the lead side with three instant triggers, no code and a free plan that is enough for one trigger plus one action. Landingi also has a page on the Make side, so compare what each platform offers for the app before choosing. Then weigh the pricing model, the hosting you want and the setup effort your team accepts, one criterion at a time.
