What the LeadQuizzes 3 Zapier integration actually does
LeadQuizzes 3 is where you make interactive content meant to win leads and learn more about them. On Zapier it reports two events, a submitted form and a recorded response, the moment they happen. Zapier then runs the steps you placed behind them, in other apps.
Three results you can build from the two triggers:
A live results sheet. With New Response, each response recorded on a piece of content becomes a row in your spreadsheet, so you read the answers without exporting them.
Only the answers that matter. Put a filter after the trigger and only the responses whose field matches the value you set go on. That version needs a paid plan, details below.
A lead feed from the form. With New Form Submission, the form a visitor fills in on your content goes straight to the tool where you keep contacts.
Now the part the Zapier app page leaves out. There is no action, so a Zap cannot create or change anything inside LeadQuizzes 3. There is no search, so it cannot look up an older response. Both triggers only see what happens after the Zap is switched on, and each one is set on a single piece of content. If you are still choosing a tool, see our Make vs Zapier comparison and our Zapier review.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Eight words you will meet in the editor. The rest of the page uses each one exactly as defined here.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it. Here, a new response or form submission.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you in another app.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action your Zap completes successfully, and your plan counts those.
- Instant vs polling trigger
- An instant trigger is reported by the app the moment the event happens. A polling trigger is checked by Zapier on a timer instead.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your LeadQuizzes 3 account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step and every Zap that uses the app.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes it one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What a LeadQuizzes 3 Zap costs you
LeadQuizzes 3 is not a premium app, so it works from the free plan. Neither trigger ever costs a task: you pay only for what happens after a response arrives.
- TriggersFree, never counted
- Each successful action1 task
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- Premium appNo, works on the free plan
Each action that goes through counts as one task, and a failed one is not counted. A Zap with three actions uses three times more than a Zap with one. The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, each limited to two steps: one trigger, one action. A filter or a second action makes it multi-step, which needs a paid plan. The polling grid below does not apply here: both triggers are instant and fire right away on every plan.
Connect LeadQuizzes 3 to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open your connections
In your Zapier account, go to the Apps page and click + Add connection. Type LeadQuizzes 3 in the search box of the dialog that opens, then pick it from the list.
- 02
Sign in to LeadQuizzes 3
Click Add connection. A tab opens on LeadQuizzes 3: sign in with the account that owns the content you want to watch. You need an account on the app for this step.
- 03
Grant access
Allow Zapier to reach the account. The connection then shows on your Apps page, and every Zap that starts with LeadQuizzes 3 reuses it, so you only do this once.
Your first LeadQuizzes 3 Zap
GoalOnly the LeadQuizzes 3 responses that pass your filter become rows in your spreadsheet.
- 01
Pick the trigger
Create a Zap, choose LeadQuizzes 3 as the app that starts it and New Response as the event. Select your connection, then the piece of content in Content.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent responses on that content, so you can pick a real one for the filter and the mapping.
- 03
Add the filter
From the plus icon, add a Filter and set the field to look at, the rule and the value. The Zap becomes multi-step and needs a paid plan.
- 04
Add the action
Choose your spreadsheet app and the step that adds a row, then map each column to a field of the sample response. Test that step and check what came back.
- 05
Publish
Click Publish to switch the Zap on. From then on, each response that passes the filter lands in the sheet. Earlier responses are not sent.
The two LeadQuizzes 3 triggers
2 events start a Zap when something happens in LeadQuizzes 3, and 2 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
New Form Submission
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new form is submitted. This is an advanced trigger!”
Starts your Zap when a visitor submits the form attached to one piece of your content, and passes what they entered to the next steps. LeadQuizzes 3 itself labels it an advanced trigger.
New Response
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a response is recorded.”
Fires each time a response is recorded on the content you chose, and hands that response to the steps behind it. It is the trigger to reach for when the answers themselves are what you want to collect.
When a LeadQuizzes 3 Zap breaks
Zapier links no help article and no app-specific limit to LeadQuizzes 3. What goes wrong comes from the way Zapier itself works.
Four situations explain most surprises with an app that only sends data out. None of them shows an error message: the Zap simply does less than you expected. If a Zap still misbehaves, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
Earlier responses never arrive
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Responses already recorded stay in LeadQuizzes 3; moving them is a separate job.A sudden batch gets held back
When a trigger returns a huge batch at once, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back instead of running every item. The filter never passes
Filter rules are typed: a text rule only works on text, a number rule only on numbers. The wrong type is why a filter never lets anything through. The Zap outgrows the free plan
On the free plan a Zap stops at one trigger and one action. A filter or a second action turns it into a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan.
