Linkepy Zapier integrationAutomate Linkepy with Zapier.
The Linkepy Zapier integration has 0 triggers, 1 action and 1 search. It works on contacts that arrive from your other tools: Find Email looks up a work address from a name and a company, and Verify Email checks whether an address is valid before you use it.

What the Linkepy Zapier integration does with your contacts
The Linkepy Zapier integration puts Linkepy, a tool that finds and checks professional email addresses, in the middle of your other apps, through Zapier and without code. A contact arrives in a form, a CRM or a sheet; Zapier asks Linkepy to find or check the address, then hands the answer to the next step.
Three results justify it. First, a cleaner list from day one: Verify Email checks every address typed into your form, and a filter lets only the valid ones reach your CRM, so bad entries never pile up there. Second, addresses for contacts that had none: Find Email starts from a full name and a company name and returns a professional address that later steps can store. Third, found, then checked: chaining Find Email and Verify Email gives you an address and a verdict on it in the same run, before anything is sent.
What it does not do. Linkepy has no trigger, so nothing in Linkepy can start a Zap: another app always opens it. It does not store or update contacts anywhere; it answers, and the steps after it do the writing. And this page has no detail on what Linkepy returns beyond an address and its validity, so test each step on a real contact before you rely on it.

Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven terms carry the whole page. Each one is explained here once, then used as is.
- Zap
- The automation you build in Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Linkepy has none, so the trigger always comes from another app, like a form.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or checks something for you, like verifying an email.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The allowance on your plan is a count of those.
- Search step
- A step that looks up something that already exists, here an email address, so the steps after it can use what it found.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap carry on only when the incoming data meets a condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your Linkepy account linked to Zapier one time, then reused by every Linkepy step of every Zap you build.
What a Linkepy Zap really costs
Linkepy is not a premium app, so it runs on the free plan. On Zapier's side, the bill is counted in tasks, and only actions that succeed count.
- Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps
- Free plan stepsOne trigger and one action
- Premium appNo, works on the free plan
- Needs a paid planAny Zap using Find Email
The trigger from your other app costs nothing. Each Verify Email that succeeds is one task; a failed one is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but two steps per Zap: your trigger and Verify Email fit. Find Email is a search, and adding a search, a filter or a second action makes the Zap multi-step, which needs a paid plan. The interval grid below only matters if your source app's trigger polls: an instant one skips it, and Linkepy has no trigger of its own.
Connect your Linkepy account in three steps
- 01
Open your connections
In Zapier, go to the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. You need a Linkepy account, plus read or write access to anything you do not own yourself and want a Zap to touch.
- 02
Pick Linkepy
Search Linkepy by name in the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the Linkepy side, and that is where the sign-in happens.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Sign in to Linkepy in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. The connection is saved once, then offered in a list by every Linkepy step you add later.
Your first Zap: only verified emails reach your CRM
GoalEach form submission has its email checked by Linkepy, and only the addresses that pass the filter become contacts in your CRM.
- 01
Create the Zap
Start a new Zap in Zapier. Linkepy has no trigger, so the first step belongs to your form tool: pick it and the event for a new submission.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent submissions, so the rest of the Zap is set up on a real one instead of a guess.
- 03
Add Verify Email
Add Linkepy with Verify Email, choose your connection, and map the email from the form into Email Address. Test it and read the verdict that comes back.
- 04
Add the filter
From the plus icon, add Filter and set its three boxes: the field from Linkepy's result, the rule, the value. A text rule only works on text.
- 05
Add the CRM step
Add your CRM with an action that creates a contact and map the form fields in. With a filter and two actions, this Zap is multi-step and needs a paid plan.
- 06
Publish
Publish the Zap. Only submissions received after that moment are checked; earlier ones stay where they are. Test once more with a real submission.
The Linkepy action
Linkepy gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Verify Email
ActionIn Zapier“Verify an email address check if it’s valid, active, and deliverable.”
Checks one email address and tells you whether it is valid, active and able to receive mail. The address, in Email Address, is the only required field.
The Linkepy search, and what happens when it finds nothing
1 search step looks for data that already exists in Linkepy, so a later step can use it.
A search step creates nothing: it fetches an answer and passes it down the Zap. In the editor, searches sit at the bottom of the Action event list, under SEARCH. Adding one makes the Zap multi-step.
Find Email
SearchIn Zapier“Find a professional email address by name and domain.”
Looks for a person's professional email address from their name and their company. Full Name and Company Name are both required.
The three settings every search exposes
- Successful if no search results are found?Left on its default, a search that finds no address stops the Zap and the steps that needed it are skipped. Switch it on and the Zap carries on empty-handed.
- Create X if it doesn't exist yet? This box turns a search into a find-or-create. Linkepy offers no such variant, so it does not appear on Find Email.
- If multiple search results are found?Three ways out when several results match: keep the first one, which is the default, stop the Zap, or pass all of them on at once.
When a Linkepy Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Linkepy and lists no limit of its own for it. What breaks here is what breaks on any Zap.
Four cases cover most surprises. When a Zap stops for a reason you cannot see, head to Zapier troubleshooting.
Old contacts are not processed
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Contacts already in your tools are not checked; going through that backlog is a separate job.A Zap that restarts itself
If the step after Linkepy writes a new record into the very place your trigger watches, each record starts the Zap again and burns tasks fast.A big import gets held back
When your source app's trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back. The same record runs once
If your source app's trigger is a polling one, Zapier remembers what it has seen, so the same record is not checked twice.
