Meera AI Zapier integrationAutomate Meera AI with Zapier.
The Meera AI Zapier integration gives you 3 triggers and 5 actions, with no search step. All three triggers are instant, so a lead closing, opting out or changing status starts your Zap right away, even on the free plan. Here is what each one does and costs.
Beta app Zapier still marks this integration as beta.

What the Meera AI Zapier integration actually does for you
The Meera AI Zapier integration connects your Meera AI campaigns, where the AI talks to leads by SMS, to the rest of your tools without code. Leads flow in: a record elsewhere becomes a lead Meera starts engaging. Outcomes flow out: a lead that closes, opts out or moves status reaches your CRM or your sheets.
Three results worth setting up first. A campaign fed from your CRM: a new contact in your CRM becomes a Meera lead through Add New Lead, and Meera begins the conversation. A clean opt-out list: Lead Unsubscribed fires when a lead asks to be fully opted out, and your CRM record is updated so nobody contacts that person by another route. A call calendar that follows the conversation: Update Call Scheduled Status sets or cancels a lead's scheduled call from what another tool knows.
The three Meera AI triggers are instant. Meera reports the event to Zapier itself, so the waiting time between checks on the free plan does not concern this app at all.
What Zapier does not do for Meera AI: there is no search step, so a Zap cannot look a lead up first; every action locates the lead itself, by mobile phone number or by the ID from your CRM. There is no delete action either, and leads that existed before the Zap was switched on are never picked up. The app is also flagged as beta on Zapier. To weigh other tools, see our Make vs Zapier page.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Eight words come back throughout this page. Here they are once, in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is switched on, Zapier waits for that event to happen.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts: the step that writes, sends or moves something in an app for you.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills. Each action your Zap completes successfully is one task, and your plan counts those.
- Instant trigger
- A trigger the app reports itself: it calls Zapier the moment the event happens, so nothing waits for a check.
- Polling trigger
- A trigger Zapier checks on a timer, asking the app for new items at a fixed interval and keeping the unseen ones.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter turns it into one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What a Meera AI Zap really costs
Meera AI is not a premium app on Zapier, so it runs on the free plan. You pay in tasks, and only actions create them.
- Premium appNo, works on the free plan
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- Trigger cost0 tasks
- Meera AI triggers3 instant, 0 polling
A Meera AI trigger firing costs nothing. Each action that succeeds counts as one task, so a three-action Zap uses three times what a one-action Zap uses. A failed action is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, each capped at two steps: one trigger, one action. A filter or a second action makes it a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. The grid below sets how often Zapier checks a polling trigger; it does not apply to the instant triggers of Meera AI.
Connect your Meera AI account in three steps
- 01
Open the Apps page
In Zapier, go to Apps and click + Add connection. You need a Meera AI account first, plus read or write access on any campaign you do not own yourself but want the Zap to touch.
- 02
Find Meera AI
Type Meera AI in the search box of the dialog, select it and click Add connection. A new tab opens on the Meera AI side, which is where you actually sign in.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Log in to Meera AI in that tab and allow Zapier to use the account. The connection is saved once, then every Meera AI step in every Zap you build reuses it.
Your first Zap: sync Meera AI opt-outs back to your CRM
GoalWhen a lead asks Meera AI to be fully opted out, the matching record in your CRM is updated and your team chat hears about it.
- 01
Create the Zap and set the trigger
Start a new Zap, pick Meera AI as the app and Lead Unsubscribed as the event. Choose your Meera AI connection, then select the campaign whose opt-outs you want to receive.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items from the connected account, so you map the next steps on real data. Check at the test which lead details come back.
- 03
Add the CRM update
Add your CRM as the first action and point it at the record that matches the lead. Map the opt-out into the right CRM field, then run the action test once and read the result.
- 04
Add the chat message
Click the plus icon, add your chat app as a second action and write a short note from the lead details. Test it the same way before going further.
- 05
Publish
Click Publish. With two actions this is a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan, and each opt-out costs two tasks. On the free plan, keep only the CRM update.
Meera AI triggers: the 3 events that start a Zap
3 events start a Zap when something happens in Meera AI, and 3 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
Lead Closed
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a lead reaches a closed status, such as converted, not interested, max follow-ups reached, invalid phone, or landline.”
Starts a Zap when a lead in the chosen campaign reaches a closed status: converted, not interested, out of follow-ups, an invalid number or a landline. The lead details move on to the next step, so the outcome lands wherever you track it.
Lead Unsubscribed
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a lead requests to be fully opted out (Do Not Contact).”
Fires when a lead in the selected campaign asks to be fully opted out, the Do Not Contact case. It is the event to hand to every other tool that might still reach that person.
Lead Status Updated
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a lead progresses from one status to another in a campaign.”
Launches the Zap each time a lead moves from one status to another within a campaign. Broader than Lead Closed, it follows the whole path of the conversation rather than only its end.
Meera AI actions: what a Zap can do in Meera AI
Meera AI gives you 5 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Close Lead
ActionIn Zapier“Closes a Lead for a particular Campaign, halting any further SMS engagement. Can be reversed by Open Lead action.”
Shuts a lead in one campaign so Meera stops following it up by SMS; if that was a mistake, Open Lead undoes it.
Unsubscribe Lead
ActionIn Zapier“Fully opts out a Campaign Lead.”
Fully opts a lead out of a campaign, so Meera AI stops contacting that person there.
Open Lead
ActionIn Zapier“This will (re)open a Lead in Meera, reversing any Closed status.”
Opens or reopens a lead in Meera AI, undoing any closed status it carried.
Add New Lead
ActionIn Zapier“Adds a new Lead to a Campaign, triggering Meera to begin engaging with the Lead.”
Adds a lead to a Meera AI campaign, and Meera starts engaging that person by SMS.
Update Call Scheduled Status
ActionIn Zapier“Sets or cancels a Campaign Lead's scheduled call.”
Sets or cancels the scheduled call of a campaign lead, from a single Yes or No.
When a Meera AI Zap breaks
Zapier links no help article to Meera AI, so these are the general traps. They are enough to trip up a first Zap.
The editor warns you about none of these cases. Read them before you publish, not once the task count has moved. For a wider checklist, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
Nothing from before the Zap
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Leads that closed or opted out earlier are never picked up; moving that backlog is a separate job.A Zap that keeps restarting
A Zap that writes into the place its own trigger watches can set itself off again and again, burning tasks fast. Keep what the action writes away from what the trigger watches.A bulk import held back
When a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold those items back instead of running them all.A campaign out of reach
Every Meera AI step needs a campaign. The connected account needs read or write access on it, so check at the test that the campaign you want can be picked.
