Mighty Tix Zapier integrationAutomate Mighty Tix with Zapier.
The Mighty Tix Zapier integration offers 1 trigger and no action or search step. New Order hands each processed order to other apps, checked on a timer rather than instantly. Mighty Tix runs on the free plan, so a two-step Zap costs nothing to try.

What the Mighty Tix Zapier integration does for you
Mighty Tix sells tickets for events. Linking it to Zapier means one thing: every time an order is processed, Zapier can pass it on to another app of your choice. You set that up once as a Zap, the automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
An order sheet that fills itself. New Order followed by a spreadsheet step adds each processed order as a row, so the list of buyers for an event builds up without exports.
Only the orders that matter to you. Put a filter after New Order and the Zap goes on only for orders that meet your condition, for instance one event out of several if the trigger test shows which event an order belongs to, set by field, rule and value.
A heads-up for whoever needs it. Route each order to your email or chat tool, and the person in charge of an event hears about new buyers without logging in to Mighty Tix.
What Zapier does not do here is just as clear. Mighty Tix has a single trigger and no action, so a Zap can read orders but never write into Mighty Tix: no event created, no ticket changed, no refund. There is no search step either. And the trigger is a polling one, so nothing arrives the moment an order is placed.
If you need to write into Mighty Tix, see our Make vs Zapier page before you decide.
Zapier words, in one minute
Eight words come back throughout this page. Each one in plain terms.
- Zap
- The automation itself: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event shows up.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. For Mighty Tix, there is only one on offer: New Order.
- Action
- What the Zap does after it starts. Mighty Tix has none, so every action in your Zap belongs to another app.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action that your Zap completed successfully; your plan counts those.
- Polling trigger
- A trigger Zapier checks on a timer: it asks the app for recent items at a fixed interval and keeps only the new ones.
- Instant trigger
- A trigger the app reports by itself the moment the event happens. New Order is not one of them.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets a condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap that goes past one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes it one, and it needs a paid plan.
What a Mighty Tix Zap really costs
Watching Mighty Tix is free. New Order never costs a task, and neither do Zapier's checks for new orders, however often they run.
- Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps of two steps each
- New Order checksNever billed
- Failed actionNot counted against the plan
- Mighty Tix on freeYes, not reserved for paid plans
You pay in tasks for the actions that follow, in other apps: each one that succeeds counts once, and one that fails does not. A Zap that sends an order to two apps uses two tasks per order. Mighty Tix is not reserved for paid plans, so a free account can run New Order plus one action. A filter or a second action makes the Zap multi-step, which needs a paid plan. The interval grid below applies to New Order, since it is a polling trigger.
Connect your Mighty Tix account in three moves
- 01
Open your connections
In your Zapier account, open the Apps page and click + Add connection. You need a Mighty Tix account, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.
- 02
Pick Mighty Tix
Type Mighty Tix in the search box of the dialog, select it in the results, then click Add connection. A new tab opens, and that is where you sign in to Mighty Tix.
- 03
Sign in and allow access
Log in to Mighty Tix in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. The connection is saved once, then reused by every Zap that starts on New Order, so there is nothing to redo next time.
Your first Zap: log the orders of one event
GoalWhen Mighty Tix processes a new order, keep only the orders that meet your condition and add each one as a row in your spreadsheet.
- 01
Create the Zap
Start a new Zap, pick Mighty Tix as the app that starts it and New Order as the event, then choose the Mighty Tix connection you added.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test: Zapier brings back the three most recent orders of the connected account. Pick a real one and read which fields it carries, since everything after is mapped on it.
- 03
Add the filter
Click the plus icon, choose Filter, then fill the field to look at, the rule and the value. A text rule only works on text. With a filter, the Zap is multi-step and needs a paid plan.
- 04
Add the spreadsheet step
Add the action of your spreadsheet tool that creates a row, then map the order fields you saw at test into the columns you want.
- 05
Test, then publish
Run each step once and read what came back before going further. Then click Publish to switch the Zap on. Only orders processed after that moment are picked up.
The Mighty Tix trigger on Zapier
1 event starts a Zap when something happens in Mighty Tix. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.
New Order
Polling triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new order is processed.”
Starts your Zap each time Mighty Tix processes a new ticket order, which makes it the one door between your ticketing and every other app you use. Which details travel with an order is not documented, so the trigger test is where you find out.
When a Mighty Tix Zap breaks
Zapier links no help article to Mighty Tix and states no limit of its own for the app. What breaks is what breaks on any Zap.
The four cases below cover the usual suspects for a Zap built on New Order. If yours stops for another reason, open our Zapier troubleshooting page.
Earlier orders never show up
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Orders processed before that stay in Mighty Tix; moving them elsewhere is a separate job.A Zap that keeps restarting itself
A Zap that writes into the very place its own trigger watches can set itself off again and again, and burn through your task count quickly.A big batch held back
When New Order suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back instead of running every order. The same order, run once
Zapier keeps track of what it has already seen on a polling trigger, so the same item does not start the Zap twice.
