Overview

What the Miyn Zapier integration actually does for you

The Miyn Zapier integration links your Miyn account to Zapier so that a new lead in Miyn can start a chain of steps in other apps. Miyn is the tool that handles bookings and staff schedules; Zapier is the piece that carries what happens there to the places where your team already works. Here, the flow runs one way only: out of Miyn.

Everything starts from one operation, New Lead, so the useful results are about where that lead lands. A running log: each new lead becomes a line in a spreadsheet, which gives you one list you can sort and share without exporting anything from Miyn. A heads-up: the lead goes out as a message to the person who follows up, so nobody has to keep Miyn open to notice it. A hand-off: the lead is copied into the contact list of another app, where your follow-up already lives.

Now the part the app page does not spell out. Zapier cannot write anything into Miyn: there is no action, so no Zap can create a booking, change a schedule or update a lead there. There is no search either, so a Zap cannot look up an existing Miyn record halfway through. And because the trigger is the only entry point, every Zap you build with Miyn starts there.

Vocabulary

Zapier in one minute

Seven words come back on every Zapier page. Here they are once, in plain terms, so the rest of this page reads easily.

Zap
The automation you build: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event that starts the Zap. With Miyn, that event is a new lead; once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
Action
What the Zap does once started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, here always in another app.
Task
The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The number on your plan counts exactly those.
Polling vs instant
A polling trigger is checked on a timer, at a fixed interval. An instant one is reported by the app the moment it happens.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
Search step
A step that looks up something already stored in an app so later steps can use it. Miyn offers none.
Cost

What a Miyn Zap really costs

Miyn is not one of the apps Zapier keeps for paid plans, so it runs on the free plan.

  • TriggerFree, never counted
  • Each successful action1 task
  • Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
  • Paid plan onlySecond action, filter

The New Lead trigger never costs a task, however often Zapier checks Miyn. Each action that works counts as one task; an action that fails is not counted. The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month and as many Zaps as you like, but each one stops at two steps: the trigger and a single action. Add a second action or a filter and the Zap needs a paid plan. The grid below is how often a polling trigger like New Lead gets checked.

Connect

Connect Miyn to Zapier in three steps

  1. 01

    Open the Apps page

In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. A connection is your Miyn account linked once, then reused by every Zap that needs it.

  2. 02

    Pick Miyn

Type Miyn in the search box of the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens so you can sign in to your Miyn account and finish the link.

  3. 03

    Sign in and allow access

Log in to Miyn in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. You need an account on Miyn, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.

First Zap

Your first Miyn Zap: a lead log with a heads-up

GoalEvery new Miyn lead is added to a spreadsheet, then the person in charge gets a message about it.

  1. 01

    Create the Zap

Start a new Zap and choose Miyn as the app that starts it, with New Lead as the event. Pick the Miyn connection you just added.

  2. 02

    Test the trigger

Run the test: Zapier brings back the three most recent leads of your Miyn account. Pick a real one, so the mapping in later steps uses actual values.

  3. 03

    Add the spreadsheet step

Add the action that writes a row, then map the lead details Miyn returned into the columns. What comes back from Miyn is what the test shows, so check it there.

  4. 04

    Add the message

Add a second action that sends the message. With two actions this is a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan, and each lead uses two tasks.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Run each step once and read what came back. When both actions look right, click Publish to switch the Zap on and let it wait for leads.

Triggers

The Miyn trigger

1 event starts a Zap when something happens in Miyn. Zapier checks for them at the interval your plan allows.

1

New Lead

Polling trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a new lead is created.”

Each time a lead is added to your Miyn account, this trigger hands it to the Zap, so the next steps can file it, share it or pass it on to another tool.

How it fires
Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan: every 15 minutes on the free one
When to use it
you want every new lead copied out of Miyn to the place where your team actually follows up, without anyone exporting a list by hand.
Watch out
leads from before the Zap was published are never sent, and what each lead carries is something to check at the test step rather than assume.
When it breaks

When a Miyn Zap breaks

Zapier links no help article to Miyn, so the limits below are the ones every Zap shares.

Each one is worth ruling out before you blame Miyn itself. If something looks off, open our Zapier troubleshooting guide.

  • Old leads are not sent

A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Leads already in Miyn stay where they are; moving them is a separate job.
  • A big batch can be held back

If Miyn suddenly returns a huge batch of leads, after a bulk import for instance, Zapier's flood protection can hold them back.
  • The same lead runs once

Zapier keeps track of what it has already seen on a polling trigger, so a single lead does not start the Zap twice.
  • Watch for loops

As a general rule, a Zap that writes into the very place its trigger watches can set itself off again and again, and burn through tasks fast.

FAQ

Miyn Zapier integration: common questions

01Is the Miyn Zapier integration free?
Yes, it works on the free plan, because Miyn is not one of the apps Zapier keeps for paid plans. The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month and an unlimited number of Zaps, each limited to two steps: the New Lead trigger plus one action. If you want a lead to go to two places, or to pass through a filter first, you are building a multi-step Zap, and that needs a paid plan.
02How many tasks does a Miyn Zap use?
One per successful action, and nothing for the trigger. Zapier can check Miyn for new leads as often as your plan allows without spending a single task. When a lead arrives and your action works, that is one task. A Zap with two actions spends two tasks per lead. An action that fails is not counted against your plan. Checking more often on a paid plan does not change that count either.
03Does Miyn send leads to Zapier in real time?
No. New Lead is a polling trigger: Zapier goes and looks at regular intervals, and how often depends on your plan, every 15 minutes on the free one. On Professional the check runs every 2 minutes, on Team and Enterprise every minute. On paid plans you can change how often it checks, and you can also run a check by hand from the editor when you are testing. A Zap built on an instant trigger shows a lightning bolt in the editor; this one does not.
04What does it take to connect Miyn to Zapier?
An account on Miyn, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch. The connection itself is three moves: open Apps in Zapier, click + Add connection, pick Miyn, then sign in to Miyn in the tab that opens and grant Zapier access. After that, every Zap you build reuses the same connection. Linking the account once is enough for all of them.
05Will Zapier pick up the leads already in Miyn?
No. A Zap only reacts to leads created after you publish it. Everything that was already in Miyn before that moment stays out of the Zap, and getting that backlog into your other tool is a separate job. The test step is the one exception: it brings back the three most recent leads so you can map fields on a real example, but it does not send them anywhere. Plan the switch-on moment with that in mind.
06What if the Miyn event or action you want is not there?
Then Zapier cannot do it with Miyn today. Miyn's page on Zapier shows the current list, and right now it holds a single trigger, New Lead, with no action and no search. That means no Zap can create, change or look up anything inside Miyn. If your plan depends on writing back into Miyn, check whether another automation tool offers a Miyn connection with that operation before you build anything.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Miyn?
Judge it on three criteria rather than a ranking. First, coverage: Zapier offers the New Lead trigger ready to use, and you should check whether Make or n8n has a Miyn connection at all. Second, delay: on Zapier the trigger is checked on your plan's interval, from 15 minutes on Free down to 1 minute on Team. Third, cost: a two-step Zap fits the free plan, and every extra step moves you to a paid one.
