Moaform Zapier integrationAutomate Moaform with Zapier.
The Moaform Zapier integration gives you 1 trigger, 0 actions and 0 searches. Each new response to one of your Moaform surveys can start a Zap (an automation built on Zapier) that carries the answers to your other tools straight away. It works on the free plan.

What the Moaform Zapier integration does for you
The Moaform Zapier integration links your Moaform account to Zapier, so each new response to a survey you own can set off steps in other apps. Moaform is a survey platform for collecting feedback from customers and from employees. The flow runs one way: answers leave Moaform and land where your team already works.
Everything rests on New Submission, so the results are about where the answers go. A living results sheet: each response becomes a row in a spreadsheet you can sort, chart and share, without exporting from Moaform. A follow-up that does not wait: the response goes out as an email to whoever should react, while the feedback is still fresh. A record next to the person: the answers are copied into the contact list of another tool, so the next conversation starts with what that person said.
What Zapier does not do here: it cannot write anything into Moaform. There is no action, so no Zap can create a survey, send an invitation or change a response. There is no search either, so a Zap cannot fetch an older response halfway through. And the trigger only sees surveys owned by the account you connect.
If you are comparing platforms, see our n8n vs Zapier guide and our Make vs Zapier guide, and check first that the tool you pick offers a Moaform connection.
Zapier in one minute
Seven words come back on every Zapier page. Here they are once, in plain terms.
- Zap
- The automation you build: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event that starts the Zap, here a new response to a Moaform survey. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
- Action
- What the Zap does once started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, here always in another app.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. Your plan's allowance is a count of those.
- Instant vs polling
- An instant trigger is reported by the app the moment it happens. A polling one is checked by Zapier on a timer instead.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes it one, and then it needs a paid plan.
What a Moaform Zap really costs
Moaform is not one of the apps Zapier keeps for paid plans, so it runs on the free plan.
- TriggerNever counted
- Each successful action1 task
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- Paid plan onlySecond action, filter
The New Submission trigger never costs a task. Each action that goes through counts as one task, and an action that fails is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, each capped at two steps: the trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes it a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan. The grid below is how often Zapier checks polling triggers on each plan; it does not apply to Moaform, whose only trigger is instant.
Connect Moaform to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open the Apps page
In your Zapier account, open Apps and click + Add connection. A connection is your Moaform account linked once, then reused by every Zap that starts from Moaform.
- 02
Find Moaform
Type Moaform in the search box of the dialog, pick it from the results, then click Add connection. A new tab opens so you can sign in to your Moaform account.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Log in to Moaform in that tab and grant Zapier access. You need an account on Moaform, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.
Your first Moaform Zap: a results sheet plus an alert
GoalEach new response to your Moaform survey is added to a shared spreadsheet, then an email tells the person in charge that it arrived.
- 01
Create the Zap
Start a new Zap, choose Moaform as the app and New Submission as the event, then pick your connection and the survey in the Form box. A lightning bolt shows it is instant.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test: Zapier brings back the three most recent responses of the connected account. Pick a real one so each answer can be mapped from actual values.
- 03
Add the spreadsheet row
Add the action that writes a row and map each answer to a column. Which answers come through is something to read at the test, not to guess.
- 04
Add the email
Add the email action after it. Two actions make this a multi-step Zap, so it needs a paid plan, and each response uses two tasks when both steps work.
- 05
Test, then publish
Run each step once and read what came back before going further. When the row and the email look right, click Publish to switch the Zap on.
The Moaform trigger
1 event starts a Zap when something happens in Moaform, and one of them is instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
New Submission
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new form submission is received.”
Each time someone completes the Moaform survey you picked, this trigger hands the response to the Zap, so the answers can be filed, shared or acted on in another tool.
When a Moaform Zap breaks
Zapier links no help article to Moaform, so the limits below are the ones every Zap shares, plus the survey ownership rule.
Rule them out one by one before you suspect Moaform itself. When something looks off, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
Earlier responses stay behind
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Responses collected before that are not picked up; moving them is a separate job.The survey is not in the list
The Form box only lists surveys owned by the connected account. A survey owned by someone else will not show up there.A sudden batch can be held back
If a trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration for instance, Zapier's flood protection can hold it back.Watch for loops
As a general precaution, a Zap that writes into the very place its own trigger watches can set itself off again and again and burn through tasks fast.
