What the Mueller Pro Link Zapier integration does for you
The integration turns new people in your other tools into contacts with a project in Mueller Pro Link, without retyping. Mueller Pro Link is a CRM built for residential exterior remodeling and builder contractors. On Zapier it offers a single action, Create Contact and Project, and Zapier lists the integration as beta.
Three outcomes come out of that one action. A request becomes a file: someone fills in a form on your site, and action:create_project creates the contact and a project connected to it. A team kept in the loop: add a second action after it, and a message in your team chat says a new project exists. A list that stops piling up: a new row in a shared spreadsheet becomes a contact and project, so nobody keeps that sheet and the CRM in sync by hand. The action stays the same in all three; only the trigger and the steps around it change.
Now the limits. Mueller Pro Link has no trigger on Zapier, so nothing that happens inside the CRM can start a Zap: the first step always belongs to another app. It has no searches either, so a Zap cannot check whether the contact already exists before creating one. And there is no action to update or delete a contact or a project: the only thing a Zap can do here is create them.

Zapier words, in plain English
Eight terms come back on this page. Each one is explained once, here, so the rest can use them freely.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap; once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it. With Mueller Pro Link, it comes from another app.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you. Here, creating a contact and project.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The count on your plan is a count of those.
- Polling trigger
- A trigger Zapier checks on a timer: it asks the app for new items at a fixed interval and keeps only what it has not seen.
- Instant trigger
- A trigger the app reports itself: it calls Zapier the moment the event happens, so nothing waits for the next check.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A filter or a second action makes one, and it then needs a paid plan.
What it really costs
Mueller Pro Link is not one of the apps Zapier keeps for paid plans, so it works from the free plan.
- TriggerFree, never counted
- Each contact and project created1 task
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- Filter or second actionPaid plan
The trigger of your other app never costs a task. Each Create Contact and Project that succeeds counts as one task, and an action that fails is not counted. The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps of two steps each: one trigger, one action. That is enough for a form and a new project. Add a filter or a second action and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. The grid below is how often Zapier checks a polling trigger; it applies to the app that starts your Zap, if its trigger works that way.

Find Mueller Pro Link
Type Mueller Pro Link in the search box of the dialog that opens, pick it from the results, then click Add connection. A new tab then opens where you sign in.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Sign in to Mueller Pro Link in that tab and allow Zapier to access the account. You need an account on the app, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.

GoalCreate a contact and project in Mueller Pro Link for each new form response, then tell the team in its chat.
- 01
Set the trigger
Start a new Zap, pick your form tool and its new-submission event, connect the account and choose the form. Test the trigger and read the sample response it brings back.

When the Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article of its own to Mueller Pro Link, so the cases below are the general Zapier limits that touch a Zap ending on this action.
When a Zap stops behaving, start from these cases. For a step-by-step method, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
Older requests never become projects
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. Responses or rows that existed before you published are not picked up; moving that backlog is a separate job.A big batch gets held back
When the app that starts the Zap suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold the trigger back.A Zap that sets itself off
As a general precaution, a Zap that writes into the place its own trigger watches can start itself again and again, and burn through your task count.
