Nexweave Zapier integrationAutomate Nexweave with Zapier.
Nexweave Zapier integration: 0 triggers, 3 actions, no search step. Nexweave never starts a Zap on its own: another app does, and Nexweave then creates a video or image experience from a campaign or a template. Here is what it costs, how to connect and what breaks.

What the Nexweave Zapier integration does for you
The Nexweave Zapier integration lets another app ask Nexweave to build a personalized experience. Zapier offers three actions and no trigger: each action creates an experience, either from one of your campaigns, from a video template or from an image or GIF template. Something else has to start the Zap.
A video for each new row. A row lands in your spreadsheet, and Create Video Experience With Template builds a video experience from the template you picked. Nobody opens Nexweave to start it by hand.
An experience inside a running campaign. Create Experience With Campaign attaches the new experience to a campaign you already set up in Nexweave, so each record that arrives from another tool joins the same campaign.
A lighter format when video is too much. Create Image/Gif Experience With Template does the same job with an image or GIF template, for channels where a still picture or a short loop fits better.
What Zapier does not do here: Nexweave has no trigger, so nothing that happens inside Nexweave can start a Zap. There is no search step either, and no action to edit or delete an experience, a campaign or a template. If you are still choosing an automation tool, see our Zapier review.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Eight terms come up on this page. Here they are in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Nexweave has none, so the trigger always comes from another app.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you. Nexweave offers three.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. The number on your plan is a count of those.
- Polling vs instant
- Polling: Zapier checks an app on a timer and keeps only what is new. Instant: the app calls Zapier itself the moment it happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets the condition you set, and stops it otherwise.
- Search step
- A step that looks up something already in an app so the next steps can use it. Nexweave has none on Zapier.
- Multi-step Zap
- Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action, a filter or a search makes one, and it needs a paid plan.
What a Nexweave Zap really costs
Short answer: Nexweave works on the free plan, and each experience created by a successful action costs one task.
- Trigger (from another app)0 tasks
- Each successful Nexweave action1 task
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps
- Reserved for paid plansNo, Nexweave works on the free plan
The trigger of the app that starts your Zap never costs a task. Each Nexweave action that succeeds counts as one, and one that fails does not. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, each held to two steps: a trigger from another app plus one Nexweave action fits. A filter or a second action makes the Zap multi-step, which needs a paid plan. The grid applies only when the starting app's trigger is a polling one.
Connect Nexweave to Zapier in three steps
- 01
Open the Apps page
In your Zapier account, open the Apps page and click + Add connection. Have a Nexweave account ready, plus read or write access on anything you do not own yourself and want the Zap to touch.
- 02
Pick Nexweave
In the dialog, type Nexweave, select it in the results, then click Add connection. A new tab opens for the sign-in. Pick the entry Zapier names exactly Nexweave; the sign-in itself happens in that new tab.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Sign in to Nexweave in that tab and grant Zapier access to the account. Every Nexweave step, in every Zap you build afterwards, reuses this one connection.
Your first Nexweave Zap, step by step
GoalBuild a video experience for each new spreadsheet row, then send an email about it.
- 01
Start from the sheet
Create a new Zap. Since Nexweave has no trigger, pick your spreadsheet app and its new-row event to start it, then connect that account.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent rows of the connected account, so you map on a real one rather than on an empty example.
- 03
Add the Nexweave action
Add an action, choose Nexweave, then Create Video Experience With Template. Fill the required Select Template field, then check at the test what else the step offers.
- 04
Add the email
Add a second action in your email app. Check at the test what the Nexweave step returned before you map anything from it. Two actions make this a multi-step Zap, which needs a paid plan.
- 05
Test, then publish
Test each step once and read what came back before moving on. Then publish the Zap to switch it on. Only rows added after that will start it.
The three Nexweave actions
Nexweave gives you 3 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

Create Image/Gif Experience With Template makes an image or GIF experience instead of a video, again from a template.
When a Nexweave Zap breaks
With no Nexweave trigger, the limits below concern the app that opens the Zap.
Zapier attaches no help article of its own to Nexweave, so the cases below are the general limits that apply to any Zap. To look into a Zap that stopped, see our Zapier troubleshooting guide.
Records from before the Zap stay out
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Rows or contacts that already existed in the starting app are not picked up; moving that backlog is a separate job.A sudden flood from the starting app
When the trigger of the starting app suddenly returns a huge batch, after a bulk import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold that batch back. The same record twice
If the starting app's trigger is a polling one, Zapier keeps track of what it has already seen, so the same item does not start the Zap twice.
