Nudgify Zapier integrationAutomate Nudgify with Zapier.
Nudgify Zapier integration: 0 triggers, 2 actions, 0 searches. Zapier can pass Nudgify every new sign-up and every new order from tools it does not reach on its own, so your recent-activity popups stay current. Nothing starts from Nudgify itself.

What the Nudgify Zapier integration actually does
The Nudgify Zapier integration feeds data into the small popups Nudgify shows visitors, the ones that say someone just signed up or just bought. Each time a sign-up or an order happens in another tool, Zapier hands Nudgify the email and the date, and your recent-activity notifications pick it up. It is one-way: data goes in, nothing comes back.
Two actions, three typical results:
Sign-up popups fed by any form. Create Sign Up Nudge records a new sign-up from a form tool, a webinar platform or a newsletter service. Your Recent Activity sign-up popups then show it, alone or in the running total of all sign-ups.
Purchase popups for sales outside your store platform. Create Purchase Nudge stores an order, with its ID, the buyer's email and the date. Handy when you sell through a checkout or invoicing tool that Nudgify does not connect to directly.
One social proof feed across several tools. Point several Zaps at the same Nudgify account and sign-ups from a form, sales from a payment tool and orders from a marketplace all land in the same popups.
What Zapier does not do with Nudgify: it cannot react to anything inside Nudgify (no trigger), it cannot look up what is already stored (no search), and it cannot edit or remove a record once sent. Designing the popups themselves stays in Nudgify. If you are deciding between automation tools for this, the Make vs Zapier comparison lays out the differences.
Zapier vocabulary in one minute
Seven words come back on every line of this page. Here they are in plain English.
- Zap
- The automation you build: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Nudgify has none, so the trigger always comes from another tool you use.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you. Here, a nudge record.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action your Zap completes successfully. Your plan's allowance is a count of those.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked on a timer. An instant trigger is pushed by the app the moment the event happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap carry on only when what arrived meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
- Connection
- Your Nudgify account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every step that talks to Nudgify. No password to retype.
What feeding Nudgify costs on Zapier
Nudgify is not a premium app, so it works on the free plan. Zapier counts tasks, and only the Nudgify step uses them.
- Free plan100 tasks a month, unlimited Zaps
- Free plan Zap size2 steps: one trigger, one action
- Premium appNo, Nudgify runs on the free plan
- CountedEach sign-up or purchase recorded
The trigger in the other app never costs a task, however often Zapier checks it for new items. Each sign-up or purchase that Nudgify accepts costs one task, and one that fails costs nothing. Busy shops should watch this: every order is a task, so volume adds up. The free plan builds Zaps of two steps only, one trigger and one action. Add a filter (say, only orders above a threshold) and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan.
Connect Nudgify to Zapier in 3 steps
- 01
Open your connections
In Zapier, go to Apps, the page that lists every account you have linked. Click + Add connection, type Nudgify in the search box of the dialog and pick it from the results.
- 02
Sign in to Nudgify
Click Add connection. A new tab opens on Nudgify: log in with the account that runs the popups on your site. You need a Nudgify account first, Zapier cannot create one for you.
- 03
Grant access
Approve the access request in that tab. The connection then appears in your list, and every future Nudgify step reuses it. If an agency manages the account, make sure your login can write to it.
Your first Nudgify Zap, step by step
GoalEvery new Typeform sign-up for your webinar appears in your Nudgify recent sign-up popup.
- 01
Start the Zap
Start a new Zap in the editor. Pick Typeform as the app that starts things, a new entry as the trigger, and the registration form for your webinar.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent entries of the form, so you can pick a real one with an email address to map from.
- 03
Add the Nudgify action
Add a step below the trigger, choose Nudgify as the app and Create Sign Up Nudge as the event, then select the Nudgify connection you created above.
- 04
Map email and date
Put the respondent's email in Email and the submission time in Date. Both are required, so an entry missing either one will stop the step.
- 05
Test and publish
Test the Nudgify step once and read what comes back before going further. Then click Publish to switch the Zap on for good.
Nudgify actions on Zapier
Nudgify gives you 2 actions. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Create Sign Up Nudge
ActionIn Zapier“This will save the data for your "Recent Activity - Sign-up" and "Recent Activity - All Sign-ups" Nudges.”
Records one new sign-up in Nudgify, so it can appear in your recent sign-up popup and count towards the all sign-ups total. It needs the person's email and the date it happened.
Create Purchase Nudge
ActionIn Zapier“This will save the data for your "Recent Activity - Purchase" and "Recent Activity - All Purchases" Nudges.”
Stores a completed order so your purchase popups can show it, both one by one and in the all purchases count. It asks for the order ID, the buyer's email and the date.
When the Nudgify Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Nudgify, so the failures below come from how Zaps work in general and from what the two actions require.
Social proof only works when it looks current, so the problems that matter are gaps and stale data. The Zapier troubleshooting guide covers the usual checks when a run fails.
Past sales never show up
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Orders and sign-ups from before that day are not sent to Nudgify: loading them is a separate job.A bulk import stalls
If the trigger app suddenly returns a huge batch, after a migration or an import of old customers, Zapier's flood protection can hold the run back before Nudgify. One order, one popup entry
On a polling trigger, Zapier remembers what it has already seen. The same order never starts the Zap twice, so one sale shows up once in your popups.A missing field blocks the run
Email and Date are required on both actions, Order ID on purchases. When the trigger leaves one empty, the step fails, costs no task and the popup misses that event.
