Overview

What the Nureply Zapier integration does for your outreach

Zapier links apps so that an event in one runs a step in another, without anyone copying data by hand. Nureply is email software built for cold outreach, with AI that writes a personalized opener for each prospect. Through Zapier, Nureply can tell your other tools when something happens in your campaigns, and any app holding prospect URLs can ask it for a personalization.

Three results people build with it. A lead sheet that personalizes itself: each new prospect row carries a LinkedIn or website URL, and New Personalization writes the opener next to it. A CRM that follows your campaigns: New Event sends the campaign events you select to your CRM the moment they happen. A team that hears about it: the same trigger can post to the chat tool your sales team already reads, so nobody has to open Nureply to know what moved.

What Zapier does not do here. There is no action to add a prospect to a campaign or send an email; the only action is the personalization. There is no search step, so a Zap cannot look up an existing prospect in Nureply. And the trigger only follows the event type you pick in its settings, nothing broader.

If you are comparing tools before building, the Make vs Zapier comparison and the Zapier review are the next two pages to read, in that order.

Vocabulary

The Zapier words you will meet, in one minute

Eight terms come back on this page. Here they are once, in plain words.

Zap
The automation you build: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
Trigger
The event in an app that starts the Zap, such as an event in a Nureply campaign. Once the Zap is on, Zapier waits for it.
Action
What the Zap does once started: the step that writes, sends or creates something for you, like a personalized opener.
Task
The unit Zapier bills. One task is one action your Zap completes successfully, and your plan counts those.
Instant trigger
A trigger the app reports itself the moment the event happens. The Nureply trigger works this way.
Polling trigger
A trigger Zapier checks on a timer, asking the app for new items at a fixed interval and keeping only what is new.
Filter
A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets a condition you set, and stops it quietly otherwise.
Multi-step Zap
Any Zap beyond one trigger and one action. A second action or a filter makes one, and it then needs a paid plan.
Cost

What it really costs to run Nureply through Zapier

The trigger never costs a task, so a Nureply event arriving in Zapier is free on its own.

  • TriggerFree, and instant on every plan
  • Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
  • Premium appNo, Nureply works on the free plan
  • Personalize and write backMulti-step Zap, paid plan

Each New Personalization that succeeds is one task, and a failed one is not counted. The free plan gives 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but only two-step Zaps. The interval grid below concerns polling triggers; the Nureply trigger is instant, so it fires straight away on every plan. Personalizing a lead and writing the result back to your sheet is a multi-step Zap, so a paid plan. Nureply is not a premium app.

Connect

Connect your Nureply account to Zapier in three steps

  1. 01

    Open the connections page

In your Zapier account, go to Apps and click + Add connection. A connection is your Nureply account linked to Zapier once, then reused by every Zap that touches Nureply.

  2. 02

    Pick Nureply and sign in

Type Nureply in the dialog, select it and click Add connection. A tab opens on Nureply: sign in with the account that runs the campaigns you want to automate.

  3. 03

    Grant access and come back

Allow Zapier to use the account, then return to the editor. If the campaigns belong to a colleague, check first that your login has access to them, or the trigger stays silent.

First Zap

Your first Zap: log every campaign event and tell the team

GoalEach time the Nureply event you picked happens, add a line to a tracking sheet and post a message where your sales team works.

  1. 01

    Set the trigger

Create a Zap, pick Nureply as the app and New Event as the event, choose your connection, then select the Event Type you want to follow.

  2. 02

Test it on a real event

Run the trigger test. Zapier brings back the three most recent matching events from your account; pick one so the next steps have real details to map.

  3. 03

    Log it in your sheet

Add your spreadsheet as an action and map the event details into the columns you track. On its own, this two-step Zap runs on the free plan.

  4. 04

    Tell the team

Add a message step to your team chat with the key details of the event. A second action makes this a multi-step Zap, so a paid plan.

  5. 05

    Test, then publish

Test each step once and read what came back. Then publish to switch the Zap on. Events from before that moment are not logged.

Triggers

The Nureply trigger, in detail

1 event starts a Zap when something happens in Nureply, and one of them is instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.

1

New Event

Instant trigger

In Zapier“Triggers when a selected event occurs”

Starts your Zap when the type of event you picked happens in Nureply. You choose that type when you set the trigger up, and each matching event passes its details to the steps that follow.

How it fires
the app tells Zapier the moment it happens, so the Zap starts right away, whatever your plan
When to use it
a founder running cold outreach wants campaign activity pushed into the CRM as it happens, so the sales follow-up starts while the prospect is still warm.
Watch out
Event Type is required, so decide which event you want to follow before building the rest of the Zap.
Actions

The Nureply action, in detail

Nureply gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

1

New Personalization

Action

In Zapier“Create personalization based on your prospect's LinkedIn or website url”

Sends a prospect's LinkedIn or website URL to Nureply and gets back a personalization written by its AI, ready to drop into your first line or to store with the lead.

When to use it
an agency builds prospect lists in a spreadsheet and wants an opener ready for each name before the campaign starts.
Watch out
URL is required, so a lead without a profile or website link makes the run fail.
When it breaks

When a Nureply Zap breaks, and why

Zapier attaches no help article to Nureply, so the known failure points are the general ones, plus the two required fields.

Most broken runs come from four situations. When you cannot place a failure, the Zapier troubleshooting page walks through the checks in order.

  • Earlier leads are never processed

A Zap only reacts to what happens after you publish it. Prospects already in your list and past campaign events are not picked up; that backlog is a separate job.
  • The URL arrives empty

URL is required for New Personalization. A prospect row without a LinkedIn or website link makes that run fail, and nothing is written back.
  • A Zap that sets itself off

Write the personalization into the very sheet your trigger watches for new rows, and the Zap can start again on its own output and burn tasks.
  • A bulk import gets held back

Paste a large prospect list at once and the trigger suddenly returns a huge batch. Zapier's flood protection may hold those items back.

FAQ

Nureply Zapier integration: the questions people ask

01Is the Nureply Zapier integration free?
Yes, on the Zapier side it works on the free plan, because Nureply is not a premium app. The free plan gives you 100 tasks a month and unlimited Zaps, but each Zap is limited to two steps: one trigger and one action. Sending a Nureply event to your CRM fits. Personalizing a lead and then writing the result back to your sheet needs a third step, so a paid plan. Prices are not listed here because they change too often.
02How many tasks does a Nureply Zap use?
One task per action that succeeds, and nothing for the trigger. A Nureply event arriving in Zapier costs nothing on its own. A Zap that personalizes a lead and saves the result uses two tasks per prospect: one for New Personalization, one for the update. An action that fails is not counted. On the 100 tasks of the free plan, that Zap covers half as many prospects as you have tasks, so count your list before you switch it on.
03Does Nureply reach Zapier instantly?
Yes. The Nureply trigger, New Event, is an instant trigger: Nureply tells Zapier the moment the selected event happens, and the Zap starts at once. The interval grid of the plans, 15 minutes on Free down to 1 minute on Team and Enterprise, only applies to polling triggers, so it does not slow Nureply down. That type is set by Nureply's own connection to Zapier and cannot be changed in the editor. A Zap built on it shows a lightning bolt.
04What does it take to connect Nureply to Zapier?
A Nureply account, with access to the campaigns you want to automate. You add the connection once from the Apps page of Zapier with the + Add connection button, sign in to Nureply in the tab that opens, and grant access. Every Zap then reuses it. For the personalization, the real prerequisite sits in your other tool: each prospect needs a LinkedIn or website URL, since that is the only thing New Personalization works from.
05Why does New Personalization fail on some prospects?
Most often because the URL field reached it empty. URL is the one required field of the action, and Nureply has nothing to personalize from without it. That happens when a lead was imported without a profile link, or when the mapping points to the wrong column. The run stops at that step, no task is counted, and the next step gets nothing. Make the URL mandatory where leads are collected, or add a filter before the action that only lets prospects with a URL through.
06What if the Nureply operation you need does not exist?
Then Zapier cannot do it with Nureply today, and no setting adds it. The integration has one trigger, New Event, and one action, New Personalization, with no search. Adding a prospect to a campaign, sending an email or updating a lead are outside what it covers. The workaround is to build around those two operations, for example personalizing in Zapier and importing the result into Nureply yourself, or to check whether another automation tool offers the missing step.
07Zapier, Make or n8n for Nureply?
It depends on what you weigh most, not on a winner. Zapier is quick to start with: Nureply works on the free plan, its trigger is instant and both operations are ready to pick. The limit shows up as soon as you want to write the personalization back, because that third step needs a paid plan and each successful step counts as a task. Make and n8n bill and run steps differently, which matters on long prospect lists. Compare them on list size, budget and who maintains the setup.
