Onurix Zapier integrationAutomate Onurix with Zapier.
The Onurix Zapier integration does one job: it sends text messages. It exposes 0 triggers, 1 action and 0 searches, so another app always starts the Zap and Onurix delivers the SMS at the end of the chain, to one number or to several at once.

What the Onurix Zapier integration actually does
The Onurix Zapier integration links your Onurix account, a platform built for sending messages in bulk, to the other tools you use through Zapier. Zapier watches an event in another app and, each time it happens, asks Onurix to send a text message to one or several phone numbers. That is the whole surface: one action, called Send SMS.
Three results people build with it. A confirmation text: a form or a booking tool records a new entry, and Send SMS texts the person who filled it in. A team alert: a deal moves in your CRM and the field sales reps get a message on their phones, several numbers in one go, separated by commas. A reminder: a row lands in a planning sheet and the customer named in it receives a short text. In all three cases Onurix is the last step, because it has nothing to start a Zap on its own.
What Zapier does not do for Onurix matters just as much. It cannot react to an Onurix event: there is no trigger, so a reply, a delivery receipt or a new contact on the Onurix side never starts anything. It cannot look up data in Onurix either, since the app has no search step. And it only offers a single action, so everything beyond sending a text (lists, campaigns, reports) stays in the Onurix interface.
If you are still weighing tools, the Zapier review is a neutral place to start, and Make vs Zapier sits next to it.
Zapier vocabulary in plain words
Seven words come back on every Zapier page. Here they are once, so the rest of the page reads without a dictionary.
- Zap
- The automation you build: one trigger, then one or more actions that run every time that trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Onurix has none, so with this integration the trigger always lives in another app.
- Action
- What the Zap does once it has started, the step that writes, sends or moves something. Send SMS is the Onurix action.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action that completes successfully. Your plan gives you a number of them each month.
- Polling vs instant
- A polling trigger is checked on a timer by Zapier. An instant trigger is reported by the app the moment the event happens.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap continue only when the incoming data meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
- Search step
- A step that looks up something already stored in an app, so later steps can use it. Onurix offers none.
What a text sent through Zapier really costs
Onurix is not a premium app, meaning Zapier does not reserve it for paid plans: it works from the Free plan. The bill is counted in tasks, not in messages written.
- Premium appNo, works on the Free plan
- Free plan100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps only
- One Send SMS that succeeds1 task
- Trigger and checks0 task
The trigger never costs anything, and neither does Zapier checking for new data, however often it looks. Each Send SMS that goes through counts one task; one that fails is not counted. The Free plan gives 100 tasks a month and checks polling triggers every 15 minutes, but it only builds two-step Zaps: one trigger, one action. Add a filter (say, to text only customers who gave a phone number) and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. What your Onurix account charges for the SMS itself is a separate question, outside Zapier.
Connect your Onurix account to Zapier
- 01
Open the Apps page
In your Zapier account, go to Apps. This page holds every connection, meaning an app account you link once and then reuse in any Zap. You need an existing Onurix account before you start.
- 02
Add the Onurix connection
Click + Add connection, type Onurix in the dialog and pick it from the results list. Then click Add connection, which opens the Onurix sign-in so you can link the account.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Sign in to Onurix in the tab that opens and grant Zapier access to the account. From then on, any Zap step that uses Onurix can pick this connection without asking again.
Your first Onurix Zap, step by step
GoalText every new contact from a sheet, but only when the row has a phone number.
- 01
Pick the starting app
Build starts with the trigger. Onurix has none, so choose the app where your contacts arrive, here a sheet, and its event for a new row. Connect that account the same way as Onurix.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items from the connected account, so you map the next steps on a real row instead of an empty template.
- 03
Add the filter
From the plus icon, add Filter and set the field, the rule and the value: phone column, a text rule that it exists. This makes the Zap multi-step, so it needs a paid plan.
- 04
Add Send SMS
Add the Onurix step and choose Send SMS. Map the phone column into Phone, write the text in SMS (it can mix fixed words and sheet values) and set the country code, for example CO for Colombia.
- 05
Test, then publish
Test the Onurix step: it really sends a text, so use your own number first. Read what came back, then click Publish to switch the Zap on.
The one Onurix action
Onurix gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.

ActionIn Zapier“Send a text message”
Texts one phone number, or a list of them separated by commas, with the message you write in the step. Pair it with a trigger from another app and every event becomes a text.
When the Onurix Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Onurix and lists no limit of its own for it. The cases below are the general ones, and they hit a texting Zap harder than most, because a wrong message cannot be taken back.
Read them before you publish, not after the first complaint. If a Zap is already misbehaving, the Zapier troubleshooting page is a good next stop.
Old contacts never get a text
A Zap only reacts to what happens after you switch it on. Rows or contacts that already existed are never picked up; sending to that backlog is a separate job.A loop that texts people over and over
If a later step writes back into the very place your trigger watches, the Zap starts itself again. Each loop sends another SMS and burns another task.A bulk import holds the Zap back
When the trigger suddenly returns a huge batch, after an import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold it. Better that than hundreds of texts at once. The same row does not text twice
On a polling trigger Zapier remembers what it has already seen, so the same row never starts the Zap twice. Plan for that if you expected a resend.
