Parcy Zapier integrationAutomate Parcy with Zapier.
The Parcy Zapier integration gives you 2 triggers, 1 action and 0 searches. All of it revolves around one thing: the attendees of your events. People who sign up or get added flow out to your other tools, and people from elsewhere flow into a Parcy list.

What the Parcy Zapier integration does for your events
Parcy is an event platform for live, hybrid and virtual events, with a page that adapts to each attendee. On Zapier, it handles attendees in both directions: two triggers report people joining a list, and one action adds a person to a list from another app. Both triggers are instant.
Three results come up again and again. A CRM that knows who signed up: Attendee Registered creates the contact the moment someone registers, so sales can follow up while the event is still fresh. A team that sees VIP additions: Attendee Added reports the people an organizer adds by hand, the speakers, partners and guests who never fill the form, and posts them where the team works. Lists filled from elsewhere: Add Attendee takes a person from a form, a webinar tool or a spreadsheet and drops them in the right event list.
What Zapier does not do here. There is no search, so a Zap cannot check whether someone is already on a list before adding them. There is no action to remove or update an attendee either. The integration is about getting people onto lists and telling other tools when they arrive, nothing more.
Before choosing a platform, the Zapier review and the Make vs Zapier and n8n vs Zapier pages are worth a look.
Zapier vocabulary, in plain words
Seven terms come back on every page about Zapier. Here they are once, in ordinary words.
- Zap
- The automation you build on Zapier: one trigger, then one or more actions that run each time the trigger event happens.
- Trigger
- The event in an app that starts the Zap. Once the Zap is switched on, Zapier waits for it. Parcy has two.
- Action
- What the Zap does once started: the step that writes, sends or moves something for you, such as adding an attendee.
- Task
- The unit Zapier bills: one action the Zap completes successfully. Your plan counts those, and only those.
- Instant trigger
- A trigger the app reports itself, the moment the event happens, so nothing waits for Zapier's next check. Both Parcy triggers are instant.
- Polling trigger
- The other kind: Zapier asks the app for new items at a fixed interval, and that interval depends on the plan.
- Filter
- A step that lets the Zap go on only when what arrived meets your condition, and stops it otherwise.
What it really costs in tasks
Parcy is not a premium app, so it works on Zapier's free plan. You pay in tasks.
- Free plan100 tasks per month, unlimited Zaps
- Free plan Zap size2 steps: one trigger, one action
- Premium appNo, works on the free plan
- Parcy trigger0 tasks, instant on every plan
A Parcy trigger never costs a task. Each action that succeeds after it, a contact created or an attendee added, counts as one task, and a failed one does not. The free plan builds two-step Zaps: one trigger, one action, which covers a registration sent to a CRM. Add a filter or a second action and the Zap becomes multi-step, which needs a paid plan. The interval grid below does not touch Parcy triggers: they are instant on every plan.
Connect Parcy to Zapier in 3 steps
- 01
Open your connections
In Zapier, open the Apps page of your account and click + Add connection. You need a Parcy account with access to the events and attendee lists the Zap will touch.
- 02
Pick Parcy
Search for Parcy in the dialog, select it, then click Add connection. A new tab opens on the Parcy side to finish linking the two accounts. That tab is where you sign in to Parcy next.
- 03
Sign in and grant access
Sign in to Parcy in that tab and allow Zapier to access the account. The connection then appears in your list, and every Parcy step reuses it. One connection is enough for both triggers.
Your first Zap: every registration logged and announced
GoalEach person who registers to a Parcy event gets a row in the attendee sheet, and the team sees a message in its channel.
- 01
Pick the trigger
Start a Zap, choose Parcy and Attendee Registered, select your connection, then the event and the attendee list to watch.
- 02
Test the trigger
Run the test. Zapier brings back the three most recent items of the list, so you map the next steps on a real registration rather than a blank sample.
- 03
Log the registration
Add Google Sheets and Create Spreadsheet Row, pick the sheet, then map what Parcy sent into its columns. Run the step once and check the row.
- 04
Tell the team
Add Slack and Send Channel Message with the attendee's name in the text. With two actions this is a multi-step Zap, so a paid plan, and two tasks per registration.
- 05
Publish
Click Publish to switch the Zap on. People who registered before this moment are not logged; only new registrations are.
The 2 Parcy triggers
2 events start a Zap when something happens in Parcy, and 2 of them are instant: the app calls Zapier straight away, whatever your plan.
Attendee Added
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a new attendee is manually added in a list.”
Starts a Zap when an organizer adds someone to an attendee list by hand. These are the people who skip the registration form: speakers, partners, staff, invited guests. Without this trigger they never show up in the tools that only listen to sign-ups.
Attendee Registered
Instant triggerIn Zapier“Triggers when a attendee is registered in a list.”
Fires when a person registers to a list, the main entry point for anyone who signs up to your event. It is the trigger most Zaps around an event will start from, because registration is where the attendee data begins.
The Parcy action
Parcy gives you 1 action. For each one: what it does for you, when to reach for it, and what to watch out for.
Operations index
Add Attendee
ActionIn Zapier“Adds an Attendee to a given Attendees List.”
Puts a person on an attendee list of a Parcy event, using data from another app. Two choices are required, the event and the list; the rest comes from the step before.
When the Zap breaks
Zapier attaches no help article to Parcy and no app-specific limit is documented. The failures to expect are the ones every Zap can meet.
Four cases are worth knowing before publishing. None is unique to Parcy, and each has a simple way around it. For anything stranger, the Zapier troubleshooting page goes further.
Earlier registrations are never picked up
A Zap only reacts to what happens after it is switched on. People already on the list when you publish stay out of it; exporting them is a separate job.A Zap that sets itself off
A Zap that adds attendees to the very list its own trigger watches starts itself again and again, and burns through the task count fast.A bulk import gets held back
When a list suddenly receives a huge batch, after an import or a migration, Zapier's flood protection can hold the Zap back instead of running it on every person. The wrong event selected
Event and list are picked once, in the trigger or the action. When the next event comes round, the Zap keeps watching the old one until you change it.
