SEO training in 2026: the 9 best courses to get your team ranking

We compared SEO training for companies and their teams: published price, hours, format, certificate, AI search coverage and how well each one fits a team.

The short answer, depending on what you need:

  • One person will own SEO in-house: Coursera / UC Davis. Five courses, about 62 hours, included in Coursera Plus at $59 a month or $399 a year.
  • Your whole team, trained live by an instructor: Jellyfish, four one-day courses at $549 per person, ex tax, one of them on AI-led search, with private sessions from 5 people. Or Noble Desktop, a 12-hour live bootcamp at $650, with private training at your location.
  • A credential with a university behind it, with live sessions: Hallam with the University of Nottingham, 5 hours of live sessions, credits toward a master's-level qualification, price on request.
  • A tracked course with an exam on a corporate platform: Simplilearn, $499 self-paced, with a corporate offer customized to your team.
  • A whole marketing team on SEO and AI search, no budget request: Semrush Academy, free one-hour courses with a certificate each, plus HubSpot's free AEO Fundamentals for AI answers.
  • Your site runs on WordPress: Yoast SEO Academy. Five free courses, the full academy with Premium at $118.80 a year (ex VAT).

Good SEO training isn't measured by hours watched. It's measured by what your team changes on the site in the next three months. We compared fourteen providers and ranked nine, using the price on each provider's own page, or "quote on request" when there isn't one, so you know exactly what to ask before your company signs off.

Best structured SEO program with a university certificate

Coursera / UC Davis · Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialization

4.1/5

UC Davis built this specialization on Coursera: five courses, about 62 hours in total, roughly two months at 10 hours a week, aimed at beginners. It's the most complete program on this page, and it's 4.6 out of 5 on 13,112 reviews.

The specialization is included in Coursera Plus, Coursera's subscription: $59 a month, cancel anytime, or $399 a year with a 14-day money-back window, after a 7-day free trial. At the planned pace of two months, that's about $118 for one person, the UC Davis certificate included. It's the right pick when one person will run SEO for the company and needs depth that short vendor courses don't give.

The limit: none of the five course descriptions mentions AI, AI search or generative engines. Pair it with a free AI search course from Semrush or HubSpot.

Standout features
  • UC Davis specialization certificate
  • About 62 hours across five courses
  • Included in Coursera Plus: $59 a month or $399 a year, 7-day free trial
+Pros
  • ✓The most complete curriculum we compared
  • ✓A university name on the certificate
  • ✓Self-paced, fits around a job
−Cons
  • ✗No AI search or generative AI in the syllabus
  • ✗Some reviewers find parts of the material dated
  • ✗No live trainer or review of your own site
Verdict

The best pick for the person who will own SEO in-house, for about two months of Coursera Plus. Add an AI search course on top.

Best free SEO training for a whole team

Semrush Academy · SEO courses (On-Page SEO and AI Search Essentials, Keyword Research, Local SEO)

4.1/5

Semrush Academy is the free training arm of the Semrush SEO platform. Its SEO catalog is built from short, focused courses: On-Page SEO and AI Search Essentials (1 h), Keyword Research Essentials (1 h), Local SEO (1 h) and AI Search Operating System (40 min), among others. Each one ends with a certificate of completion, a document that proves the course was finished rather than an accredited credential.

The strength here is focus. Your content writer takes the on-page course, your local marketing lead takes the local one, and nobody sits through hours of material they won't use. The AI search courses matter more every month, because tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity now answer part of the questions people used to type into Google. The limit: the examples lean on Semrush itself. If your company uses another tool, your team will need to translate the steps.

Standout features
  • A dedicated AI search track, rare in free SEO training
  • A certificate of completion for each course
  • Courses of 40 minutes to one hour, built for busy teams
+Pros
  • ✓Free for everyone on the team
  • ✓Easy to assign by role
  • ✓Covers AI search alongside classic SEO
−Cons
  • ✗Examples lean on the Semrush tool
  • ✗A Semrush account is required to enroll
  • ✗Short courses: about an hour per topic, not a deep program
Verdict

The best starting point to bring a whole team up to speed at no cost. If you need a trainer who reviews your own site, you'll need a paid program on top.

Best university-backed live SEO course

Hallam × University of Nottingham · Online SEO Masterclass

4.0/5

Hallam, a UK digital agency, runs this online masterclass with the University of Nottingham. It comes in two courses. Mastering SEO: Fundamentals targets in-house marketers and junior SEOs who want to widen their knowledge. Mastering SEO: Tactics and Insights targets advanced SEOs or those who finished Fundamentals. Both run over 11 weeks or as a 4-day intensive, with the same content, and include 5 hours of live sessions with Hallam practitioners and University of Nottingham academics.

Fundamentals is a microcredential, and the credits build toward a master's-level qualification, which no other course on this page offers. One participating organization said the chance to ask an SEO professional questions was invaluable. The price isn't on the course page, and the University of Nottingham store link it points to shows no product, so the only way to get it is to ask. A 20% discount code on both courses is published. Ask three things in writing before you compare it with the other options: the price per seat, the price for your team with the code applied, and how many credits each course gives toward the master's-level qualification.

Standout features
  • Credits toward a master's-level qualification with the University of Nottingham
  • Live sessions with agency practitioners and university academics
  • Published 20% discount code on both courses
+Pros
  • ✓Real questions answered by people who do SEO daily
  • ✓Two formats to fit the team's calendar
  • ✓A credential with a university behind it
−Cons
  • ✗No published price
  • ✗UK-based provider: check session times for your time zone
  • ✗Only 5 hours of live time in total
Verdict

The best option when your team needs live answers and a recognized credential. Get the per-seat price, the team price and the credits in writing first.

Best live SEO training for a team

Jellyfish · SEO Training Courses (From SEO to AEO, Technical SEO, Introduction to SEO, SEO Copywriting)

3.9/5

Jellyfish, a digital marketing company, runs a training arm with four one-day SEO courses. Introduction to SEO covers the basics: ranking factors, content and keyword research, technical fundamentals, links and Google Search Console. Technical SEO and SEO Copywriting & Content Strategy each go deeper on one side of the job. The one to note is From SEO to AEO: Optimising for AI-led Search, seven modules on how LLM-led search works, measurement for AI search, content and technical optimization, and external validation and citation. It's an intermediate to advanced course, and beginners are pointed to Introduction to SEO first.

Each course costs $549 per person, ex tax, for a full day, live online or in person, and ends with a certificate of attendance. Scheduled classes suit solo learners and teams of up to 4. From 5 people, Jellyfish recommends a private session for your organization, for a group of any size, live online or at a location of your choice in the US or abroad. That's the format a manager wants: one day, one program, your team's questions. The limit: a certificate of attendance proves presence, not skill, and the private session price isn't published. Ask for a team quote and compare it with five public seats, $2,745 ex tax.

Standout features
  • A one-day course on AI-led search, From SEO to AEO
  • Private sessions for a team of any size, online or on site
  • $549 per person per day, ex tax, published on the page
+Pros
  • ✓Live, full-day teaching with a trainer
  • ✓Four courses to build a path by role
  • ✓AI search covered in a live format
−Cons
  • ✗A certificate of attendance only
  • ✗Private session price not published
  • ✗One day per topic: a start, not a deep program
Verdict

The best pick when you want your whole team trained live, on the same day, AI search included. For a credential with more weight, take Hallam's university-backed course or Coursera's UC Davis specialization.

Best SEO training for WordPress teams

Yoast SEO Academy · free SEO courses and Premium academy

3.9/5

Yoast makes the Yoast SEO plugin for WordPress, and its academy teaches SEO the way the plugin works. Five courses are free: SEO for beginners (about two hours), Structured data for beginners, WordPress for beginners, the WordPress block editor, and the Yoast SEO plugin itself. Each one ends with a certificate and a badge, and none asks for payment details.

Every other course comes with Yoast SEO Premium, at $118.80 a year (ex VAT), which also includes the Premium, Local SEO, News SEO and Video SEO plugins. The plugin and the training share one budget line, and your writers see a concept in the editor sidebar the same day they learn it. The flip side is just as clear: the material is WordPress-centric. If your site runs on another CMS, a content management system like Webflow or Shopify, pick Semrush or Coursera instead.

Standout features
  • Five free courses, each with a certificate and badge
  • Structured data covered in a free course
  • Training and plugins in one annual plan
+Pros
  • ✓Theory and practice line up on the same screen
  • ✓Five courses before you spend anything
  • ✓Low annual cost for the full academy
−Cons
  • ✗WordPress-centric: weak fit for other platforms
  • ✗Advanced courses require the paid plan
  • ✗No live sessions or trainer feedback
Verdict

The obvious pick for a WordPress publishing team: five free courses, then Premium. Everyone else gets more from Semrush or Coursera.

Best training for AI search and answer engines

HubSpot Academy · AEO Fundamentals

3.8/5

HubSpot Academy's current SEO course is AEO Fundamentals: seven lessons, 2 h 20, free. AEO stands for answer engine optimization, the work of getting your content quoted in the answers that AI assistants and search features give directly. It's narrower than a full SEO course, and that's the point.

Use it as the second step after the basics. Once your team knows keywords and on-page SEO, this course shows how the same content can be structured to be picked up by an answer engine. If your company already runs HubSpot, it also fits into the learning paths your marketers may already follow.

Standout features
  • A course built around AI answers and answer engines
  • 2 h 20, seven lessons
  • Free and self-paced
+Pros
  • ✓Covers what most SEO courses still skip
  • ✓Short enough for a team sprint
  • ✓Natural fit for HubSpot users
−Cons
  • ✗Not a full SEO course: start with the basics elsewhere
  • ✗Vendor certification only
  • ✗No hands-on review of your site
Verdict

The best free course on AI search. Take it after a fundamentals course, not instead of one.

Best live SEO bootcamp for a small team

Noble Desktop · SEO Bootcamp

3.8/5

Noble Desktop is a New York training school, and its SEO Bootcamp is a short, live course: 12 hours of project-based training from experts, in NYC or live online from anywhere. The outline goes from search fundamentals and keyword research to competitive analysis, SEO content, on-page and off-page optimization, mobile and video SEO, site audits and reporting. Students only need to be comfortable using a computer, so it suits people with little SEO experience.

Full tuition is $650. Classes are small, you get a verified digital certificate of completion, and you can retake the class once for free within a year, provided a seat is free. For a team, Noble Desktop runs private training, onsite at your location, and sells group class vouchers. A self-paced version exists at the same $650, for 12 clock hours with expert support. The limit: the outline doesn't mention AI search, so pair it with a free AI search course from Semrush or HubSpot.

Standout features
  • 12 hours live with an instructor, in NYC or online
  • One free retake within a year
  • Private onsite training for a team
+Pros
  • ✓Live questions answered during class
  • ✓Small classes
  • ✓A clear price, published on the page
−Cons
  • ✗No AI search on the outline
  • ✗A certificate of completion, not an exam
  • ✗12 hours: a solid start, not a deep program
Verdict

The best pick when you want a live instructor at a clear price. For depth, the UC Davis specialization on Coursera goes much further; for AI search, add a free Semrush or HubSpot course.

Best SEO training subscription from an agency

Bruce Clay · SEOtraining.com

3.5/5

Bruce Clay's SEOtraining.com is an online membership you can pay by the month ($99), the quarter ($275) or the year ($990 upfront). It bundles mini-courses that explain techniques like siloing, ebooks that cover topics in depth, short ask-us-anything videos and access to the SEOToolSet, the agency's own SEO tools. Members are invited to monthly live sessions with Bruce Clay, so your team can bring the questions that come up as they work on the site.

There's also a three-day in-person workshop, and the site shows two prices for it. The workshop pricing page says $2,750, with a one-year SEOToolSet subscription and three months of the online membership included. The registration page says $1,795, with lunch and a three-month subscription. Ask which one applies to your booking before you sign. The pricing page also lists $300 off per seat for each additional participant, useful when you send two or three people.

The certification is a separate test: 80 multiple-choice questions in one hour, up to 3 retries, 80% to pass, and a personalized certificate you can download and share. The page doesn't say what the exam costs or whether the membership includes it, so ask before you buy seats. Compared with Coursera, you trade a university certificate for an ongoing live channel with an agency team.

Standout features
  • Monthly live Q&A with Bruce Clay, for as long as you stay a member
  • A certification with a downloadable certificate: 80 questions, one hour, 80% to pass
  • $300 off per additional seat at the in-person workshop
+Pros
  • ✓Pay by the month, the quarter or the year
  • ✓Live questions every month
  • ✓An in-person workshop for a team that wants three full days
−Cons
  • ✗Two different workshop prices on the same site: get it in writing
  • ✗Exam price, and whether it comes with the membership, not stated
  • ✗$990 a year, well above a year of Coursera Plus
Verdict

A solid choice for a team that wants to keep learning all year with live answers. Start with a monthly plan to judge the content, and get the workshop price in writing before you book it.

Best self-paced paid course with an exam and a corporate offer

Simplilearn · Expert Lecture Series for SEO Certification

3.2/5

Simplilearn is an online training company, and this course is a self-paced series: 6 hours of e-learning content with lifetime access. It covers SEO terms and concepts, site architecture, sitemaps, links and link building, site audits, local SEO and local ranking factors, best practices and performance tracking.

The self-paced version costs $499 and ends with a course-completion exam and a Simplilearn course completion certificate. For companies, a corporate training offer is customized to your team's needs, with an enterprise learning platform, team dashboards and a blended model of self-paced and instructor-led learning. The limit: the outline doesn't mention AI search, and $499 for 6 hours costs more per hour than Coursera or Noble Desktop.

Standout features
  • A course-completion exam and certificate
  • Lifetime access to the content
  • A corporate offer with team dashboards
+Pros
  • ✓Clear published price for the self-paced version
  • ✓Team tracking through the corporate offer
  • ✓Lifetime access
−Cons
  • ✗Only 6 hours of content
  • ✗No AI search on the outline
  • ✗Corporate pricing isn't published
Verdict

Useful when your company wants a tracked course with an exam. For more depth at a lower cost per hour, the UC Davis specialization on Coursera is the better buy.

Which SEO training for your role, team size and level?

By role

  • Marketing manager training a team: assign one Semrush Academy course per role. Writers take On-Page SEO and AI Search Essentials, the local lead takes Local SEO. Ask each person to share their certificate. To train everyone live on the same day, book a Jellyfish course instead.
  • Content writer: Semrush's On-Page SEO and AI Search Essentials (1 h) first, then HubSpot's AEO Fundamentals so the content is built for AI answers as well as search results.
  • WordPress site owner or editor: Yoast's free beginner course, then Premium at $118.80 a year (ex VAT) if the team needs the advanced courses and the plugin features.
  • Founder or executive: one Semrush course or Yoast's two-hour beginner course is enough to ask your agency the right questions. Read Google's Starter Guide so you can tell a sound recommendation from a myth.
  • Web developer: Google's Starter Guide for crawling and indexing, then LinkedIn Learning's Technical SEO (1 h 11) if your company already pays for licenses.
  • Future in-house SEO lead: Coursera's UC Davis specialization (5 courses, about 62 hours, UC Davis certificate), about two months of Coursera Plus at $59 a month. Add a free AI search course from Semrush or HubSpot on top.

By team size and level

  • The whole company, for shared basics: Yoast's free beginner course (about two hours, certificate and badge) plus Google's Starter Guide. Zero cost, no credit card.
  • A team of 3 to 12 marketers: train them live in one day with Jellyfish, $549 per person ex tax for a public course, or a private session from 5 people, priced on quote. For a smaller group, Noble Desktop's 12-hour live bootcamp costs $650 a seat, with private training at your location. Before the paid day, run a Semrush Academy sprint so everyone arrives with the basics.
  • A team that wants instructor-led classes: free courses don't give live feedback. Jellyfish teaches four one-day courses live, online or in person, at $549 per person ex tax, with private sessions from 5 people; Hallam's online masterclass with the University of Nottingham includes 5 hours of live sessions with practitioners and academics; Noble Desktop teaches its 12-hour bootcamp live, in small groups, for $650, with private training at your location; Bruce Clay offers monthly live Q&A with its membership and a three-day workshop. Hallam works on quote.
  • Beginners: Yoast's free beginner course, then Semrush. A team already doing SEO: skip the basics and go straight to the AI search courses from Semrush and HubSpot.
  • Someone who needs a certificate: Semrush or Yoast give one for free. For a credential with an exam, Bruce Clay's SEOtraining.com certification (80 questions, 80% to pass). For a university-backed certificate, Coursera's UC Davis specialization (4.6 out of 5 on 13,112 reviews), within a Coursera Plus subscription.
  • A team working inside an SEO tool: read our Semrush review and our Semrush training ranking to train people on the tool itself.
Buyer's guide

How to choose SEO training, and get it approved

Before you compare course outlines, answer three questions: how many people you're training, what level they're at, and who pays (your team budget, an employer-sponsored learning fund, or the person). The right SEO training usually follows. Here's what we found comparing providers, and the traps that keep showing up.

Start free, then pay for what's missing

The free courses on this page cover the fundamentals better than many paid ones: Yoast in about two hours, Semrush by topic, Google's guide for the rules. Run your team through them first. You'll see exactly where they struggle (technical SEO, content strategy, reporting), and you can buy targeted paid training instead of a broad course that repeats what they already know. Google's own SEO Starter Guide on Search Central is the free official reference: not a course, but the text every course should agree with.

Ask for the price before you shortlist

Some well-known paid programs don't show a price on the course page: Hallam's masterclass works on quote. Others do: Jellyfish's one-day courses cost $549 per person ex tax, Coursera Plus costs $59 a month or $399 a year, Simplilearn's self-paced course $499, Noble Desktop's bootcamp $650, Bruce Clay's SEOtraining.com $99 a month, $275 a quarter or $990 a year, Yoast Premium $118.80 a year (ex VAT). Watch for two prices on the same site: Bruce Clay's three-day workshop shows $2,750 on its pricing page and $1,795 on its registration page. We rank Hallam anyway, marked "quote on request": ask it for the price per seat, the price for your team and the credits each course gives. Email each provider for a per-seat price and a team price in writing, and compare the cost per person against the published options.

Why Moz Academy, LinkedIn Learning, Udemy and Ahrefs Academy aren't ranked

All four show up in almost every list of SEO courses, and each has a concrete reason to be missing here. Moz Academy: its SEO Essentials certification is well known, but we couldn't read its price and syllabus on Moz's own site, and we don't rank a course whose facts we can't check at the source. LinkedIn Learning: its SEO topic page shows no price, and team licenses are sold on quote, so there's no per-person cost to compare. Udemy: it's a marketplace where each course belongs to one instructor, and we couldn't read the price or the outline of any of its SEO courses on udemy.com. Ahrefs Academy: its SEO Course for Beginners is free, 14 lessons in about two hours with Sam Oh, but its page doesn't mention a certificate, and the free courses ranked here already give one. If your company already pays for LinkedIn Learning or Udemy Business, look at their SEO courses there: the cost is already covered, and a free Semrush or HubSpot course can fill the AI search gap.

Training a whole team: what each provider offers

If you train five people or more, look at what each provider does for a group, not only the price of one seat. Jellyfish recommends a private session from 5 people, for a group of any size, live online or at a location of your choice. Noble Desktop runs private training, onsite at your location, and sells group class vouchers for its scheduled classes. Simplilearn has a corporate training offer customized to your team's needs, with team dashboards. Bruce Clay takes $300 off per seat for each additional participant at its workshop. Semrush, Yoast and HubSpot cost nothing per person: ask each person to share their certificate so you know who finished. Hallam's live sessions let your team bring real cases to practitioners: ask for a team quote. One more thing to ask in a private session: to work on your own site. Noble Desktop lets you customize the content, with a free consultation with the instructor, and Jellyfish tailors its private sessions for teams of 5 or more. Neither page promises an audit of your site, so put it in the brief and get the answer in writing.

Know what a certificate is worth

Four levels exist. A certificate of completion from a vendor (Semrush, Yoast, HubSpot), or of attendance from a live trainer (Jellyfish), proves someone finished the course. A certification exam, like Bruce Clay's SEOtraining.com test (80 questions, 80% to pass), proves they passed a test. A university-backed certificate, like UC Davis on Coursera or the University of Nottingham microcredential with Hallam, carries the most weight on a CV, and Hallam's credits build toward a master's-level qualification. Then there's what doesn't exist: we found no official Google SEO certification, so be careful with any course that claims to sell one.

Make AI search part of the brief

AI assistants now answer part of the questions people used to search. Training built in 2026 should cover how content gets picked up in those answers. On this page, Semrush has a dedicated AI search track and HubSpot built a whole course on answer engine optimization, and Jellyfish teaches a full live day on it, From SEO to AEO. Several paid programs don't mention it: Coursera's UC Davis specialization, the one with the most hours, Noble Desktop's live bootcamp and Simplilearn's self-paced course leave AI search out of their outlines. When you evaluate a paid program, ask whether it's covered.

Don't confuse a course with expertise

Finishing an SEO course doesn't make someone an SEO expert. The people who get results apply what they learn right away, on a real site. Plan the practice before you buy the training: pick one section of your site, set a goal for the next three months, and review what changed. Be wary of any provider that promises guaranteed rankings.

Get it funded by your employer

In the US, an employer can pay up to $5,250 per calendar year of your education tax-free, through a written educational assistance program under Section 127 of the tax code, and the courses don't have to be job-related. Ask HR whether your company has one before you pay out of pocket. Frame the request around one result: "after this training, the team will fix the titles and structure of our 20 most visited pages." A clear goal and a written price make approval much easier than a course link alone.
  • Run the team through a free fundamentals course first.
  • List the gaps it reveals before you look at paid training.
  • Ask paid providers for a per-seat and a team price in writing.
  • Check what certificate is issued, and by whom.
  • Make sure AI search is in the syllabus.
  • Plan one real site project for the three months after training.
  • Avoid any course that promises guaranteed rankings or an official Google certificate.
FAQ

SEO training: the questions we get asked

  • Which SEO course is best?

For the person who will own SEO in-house, Coursera's UC Davis specialization (about 62 hours, within Coursera Plus at $59 a month). For a whole team at no cost, Semrush Academy: short courses by topic, each with a certificate. For a whole team trained live in one day, Jellyfish ($549 per person, ex tax). For other live options, Hallam on quote, Noble Desktop's live bootcamp at $650, or Bruce Clay's membership from $99 a month. The tip: start with a free course, note where your team struggles, then pay only for training on those gaps.

  • Is live SEO training worth it for a team?

Yes, when the team works on the same site and needs the same answers. A public day at Jellyfish costs $549 per person, ex tax, so five people come to $2,745. From 5 people, Jellyfish recommends a private session for your organization, priced on quote: ask for it and compare it with the cost per head of five public seats. Noble Desktop also runs private training onsite, and Bruce Clay takes $300 off each additional seat at its workshop. The tip: run everyone through a free course first, so the paid day goes to your real questions, not to the basics.

  • How much does paid SEO training cost?

From $118.80 a year (ex VAT) for Yoast SEO Premium and its full academy, $499 for Simplilearn's self-paced course, $549 per person for a one-day Jellyfish course (ex tax) and $650 for Noble Desktop's 12-hour bootcamp, to $990 a year for Bruce Clay's SEOtraining.com membership ($99 a month or $275 a quarter also work). Bruce Clay's three-day workshop shows $2,750 on its pricing page and $1,795 on its registration page, so ask which applies. Coursera's UC Davis specialization comes with Coursera Plus, at $59 a month or $399 a year, after a 7-day free trial: at the planned pace of two months, about $118. Hallam doesn't publish a price. The tip: ask for a per-seat and a team price in writing.

  • Is there an official Google SEO certification?

We found none. Google publishes a free SEO Starter Guide on Search Central, but it doesn't certify SEO skills. If a course promises a "Google SEO certificate", read the fine print: it's usually the provider's own certificate.

  • How long does it take to learn SEO?

About two hours for a clear picture (Yoast's free beginner course), an afternoon to get several Semrush certificates, and around 62 hours for a structured program like Coursera's UC Davis specialization. The tip: block a few hours a week in the month after training to apply what you learned on your own site. That's where people actually learn.

  • Can I get a free SEO course with a certificate?

Yes. Semrush Academy gives a certificate of completion for each free course (a free Semrush account is required), HubSpot's AEO Fundamentals is free, and Yoast's five free courses each end with a certificate and a badge.

  • How do I get my employer to pay for SEO training?

Ask HR first whether your company has a Section 127 educational assistance program: it lets an employer pay up to $5,250 a year of your education tax-free, even for courses outside your current job. Then tie the request to one measurable result on the company site, give a per-person price, and show the free options you've already used.

  • Do SEO courses cover AI search?

Some do. Semrush Academy has On-Page SEO and AI Search Essentials and an AI Search Operating System course. HubSpot's AEO Fundamentals is entirely about answer engines, and Jellyfish's From SEO to AEO is a full live day on AI-led search. Others don't: the UC Davis specialization on Coursera, Noble Desktop's bootcamp and Simplilearn's course don't mention AI search in their outlines. Check before you pay.

  • What is the best SEO training for a beginner?

Coursera's UC Davis specialization if one person will own SEO: five beginner-level courses, about 62 hours, a UC Davis certificate. For a shared start at no cost, Yoast's free beginner course (about two hours, certificate and badge), then one Semrush course in the area you'll work on. If you prefer a live class, Noble Desktop's 12-hour SEO Bootcamp ($650) needs no prior SEO knowledge.
