How much does Restream cost?
Every official plan, the add-ons that stack up, and six budgets worked out line by line.
Short answer: Restream is free for 2 channels with its branding on screen. Standard runs $16 a month billed yearly ($19 month to month), Professional $39 ($49), Business $199 ($239), and Enterprise is quote only. Your viewer count never moves the bill. Channels, studio quality and add-ons (Clips, Webinars, seats) do.
One catch before you pay: refunds only apply for 7 days after your first purchase. A forgotten annual renewal is gone for good.
The Restream buttons on this page are affiliate links: your plan costs the same, and we earn a commission. Our ranking is editorial: a sponsored spot is always labeled on its card, and no affiliate link changes a score.
What each Restream plan costs
Before the paid tiers there's Free: $0 forever, 2 channels, a 720p studio, 6 guests on screen, 6-hour streams, 15 days of storage, and Restream branding on your stream. Plenty of new streamers never need more.
Above it, three self-serve plans. Price follows how many channels you stream to at once, studio quality and seats. Audience size changes nothing. The "save 20%" toggle is a ceiling: real annual savings run 16% to 20% depending on the plan.
USD, excluding tax. Main price: billed yearly. Second price: billed monthly.

Above Business, Enterprise is quote only: SSO and security review, multiple workspaces, an account manager, SRT ingest, stream backup and unlimited Upload & Stream. Official grid from restream.io/pricing in 2026. Billed-yearly totals ($190, $470, $2,390) come from Restream's own comparison page and public pricing history.
Restream also bills in add-ons
The plan covers streaming. Everything else is billed separately each month, and it adds up fast. Here are the six line items to know, and which plan each applies to.
What Free really includes
2 channels, a 720p studio, 6 guests, 6-hour streams, 15-day storage, multi-chat and analytics. You also get 3 prerecorded videos of 15 minutes and 250 MB each; paid plans allow up to 2 hours and 5 GB per video. What pushes people to pay: the branding and the missing third channel.
AI Clips
Turns your stream into short vertical clips. +$19/mo for 50 clips on Standard, +$29 for 100 on Professional, +$59 for 250 on Business. Skip it if you don't post short-form video already.
Webinars
Missing from most Restream pricing write-ups. +$99/mo for 100 attendees on Standard and Professional, +$299/mo for 500 on Business. It's the most expensive add-on on the grid.
Extra seats
Standard includes 1 seat, Professional and Business include 2. Each extra person costs $25/mo on Standard and Professional. A team of 5 on Professional pays for 3 seats, so $75 more each month.
Workspaces
A workspace keeps a brand or client separate, with its own channels. They start on Professional: $49/mo per extra workspace on Professional, $239/mo on Business. It's also the only way to run a second simultaneous stream from one account.
Enterprise, quote only
No public price. You land here if you need SSO, a backup stream, or SRT ingest (a protocol that holds up better than RTMP on shaky networks). Stream backup and SRT appear nowhere else on the grid, so if your stream can never drop, this is the plan.
- Count channels carefully: two accounts on one platform are two channels.
- Going from 5 to 6 channels takes you from $39 to $199 a month. Consolidate accounts first.
- Add AI Clips only if you already post short-form every week.
- Budget $25 per person beyond included seats.
- Download recordings before the 15 or 30 days run out.
- Write down your renewal date: after 7 days from your first purchase, no refunds.
How we work out the real cost
We start from Restream's official price grid, never from an average quoted somewhere else. The formula is the same for every profile: the plan that covers your channel count, billed yearly, plus only the add-ons you'd actually use. Every assumption is written on the profile card so you can rerun the math with your own numbers. We compared these budgets with the alternatives streamers bring up most on forums.
- Simultaneous channelsThe real plan driver, Free to Business2 to 8
- Studio quality1080p starts on Professional720p or 1080p
- Add-onsAI Clips and Webinars, by plan+$19 to +$299
- TeamPer seat, then per workspace on Professional+$25 / +$49
Profiles are worked examples, not customer invoices. Yearly billing saves 16% to 20% depending on the plan.
What you actually pay each month
Six profiles, lightest to heaviest. Prices come from the official grid; the needs are our assumptions. All math is on yearly billing, with the monthly price added where the gap matters.

Professional + Webinars
- Professional, yearly: $39
- Webinars add-on, 100 attendees: $99
- $39 + $99 = $138
- Monthly: $49 + $99 = $148

Business + AI Clips
- Business, yearly: $199
- AI Clips, 250 clips: $59
- $199 + $59 = $258
- Monthly: $239 + $59 = $298
The steepest jump on the grid: going from 5 to 6 channels means moving from Professional ($39) to Business ($199), five times the price on yearly billing. Restream bills per plan, never per viewer, so your audience can double without touching your bill.

So, is Restream expensive?
Our take after comparing the price grid, the refund rules and user feedback: the bottom of the grid is well priced, the top much less so. It all comes down to your channel count.
Good value if…
You stream to 2 to 5 channels. Free gets you started, Standard at $16 removes the branding, Professional at $39 adds 1080p and 5 channels. Few tools at that price bundle a browser studio, guests and multistreaming. Users also praise a support team that answers within minutes, around the clock.
Gets expensive if…
You need a sixth channel, a backup stream or webinars. There's no plan between Professional and Business, so the bill jumps fivefold. Negative reviews keep coming back to two things: that price jump, and charges after a late cancellation. For a plain relay to 6 destinations, Castr Starter costs $16.67.
What we'd do in your shoes
Start on Free. Move to Standard or Professional on monthly billing, run a real stream inside the 7-day refund window, then switch to yearly. Note that only the first purchase is refundable; the yearly payment after it is not. Scores and the full feature rundown are in our Restream review.
- Go yearly after a real month ($38 to $478 saved per year), but that payment is no longer refundable, so be sure.
- Stream from OBS into Restream if you already have production software.
- Consolidate accounts before paying for Business to get one more channel.
- Add AI Clips only if you already post short-form.
- Cancel before the renewal date if you want out.
- If 2 channels are enough, stay on Free.

Restream pricing FAQ
How much does Restream cost per month?
From $0 to $239 a month on the listed plans. Free costs nothing. Standard is $19 month to month or $16 a month billed yearly, Professional $49 or $39, Business $239 or $199. Enterprise is quote only. Clips, Webinars, extra seats and workspaces come on top.Is Restream actually free?
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit: 2 channels at once, a 720p studio, 6 guests on screen, streams up to 6 hours and 15 days of storage. The trade-off is Restream branding on your stream (a small watermark and a link in the description), no third channel, no Facebook Pages or Groups, and no custom RTMP.How much do you save with annual billing?
Between 16% and 20%, not a flat 20%. Standard saves $38 a year ($228 vs $190), Professional $118 ($588 vs $470) and Business $478 ($2,868 vs $2,390). Professional is the only plan that hits the full 20%.Can you get a refund from Restream?
Only within 7 calendar days of your first purchase, and only as a new subscriber. An upgrade is refundable only if you upgrade and cancel inside those 7 days. Auto-renewals are never refunded, so cancel before the renewal date if you want out of an annual plan. Can I stream to platforms Restream doesn't list?
Yes, through custom RTMP, which starts on Standard ($16 a month billed yearly). The Free plan sticks to the built-in destinations. Keep in mind that every custom destination counts as one of your simultaneous channels. How many channels does each plan include?
2 on Free, 3 on Standard, 5 on Professional, 8 on Business and a custom number on Enterprise. Two accounts on the same platform count as two channels. Older plan grids gave Standard 5 channels and Professional 8, which is why some sites still quote those numbers. What does a 24/7 or prerecorded stream cost on Restream?
Prerecorded video is capped on Free at 3 files of 15 minutes and 250 MB each; paid plans take videos up to 2 hours and 5 GB. Unlimited Upload & Stream sits on Enterprise, quote only. If round-the-clock streaming is your core use, OneStream Live sells a dedicated 24/7 add-on at $30 a month. How long does Restream keep recordings?
15 days on Free and Standard, 30 days on Professional and Business. A single stream can run 6 hours on Standard and 10 hours on Professional. Download what you want to keep every week: short storage is one of the most common complaints from users. Is Restream worth it?
For 2 to 5 channels, yes: Free covers the basics and Professional at $39 gets you 1080p, 5 channels and a browser studio with guests. It stops being good value once you need a 6th channel, because Business costs five times more with no plan in between.
