How Much Does SocialBee Cost?
Every plan, every add-on, and a full year's bill based on how many accounts and people you have.
Short answer: SocialBee has no free plan, but it has a 14-day trial with no credit card. After that, Bootstrap is $29 a month ($290 a year), Accelerate is $49 ($490 a year) and Pro is $99 ($990 a year). Agencies get three bigger tiers, from $179 to $449 a month.
The sticker price isn't the whole story. Bootstrap and Accelerate allow one person per workspace, so the moment a second person joins, you pay $10 a month for a seat. We compared the official price sheet, the refund policy and six alternatives to tell you which plan to pick and when it stops being a good deal.
The SocialBee button on this page is an affiliate link: you pay the same list price either way. The ranking is editorial: a sponsored spot is always flagged on its card, and no affiliate link ever changes a score.
What each SocialBee plan costs
SocialBee sells fixed tiers, not a per-channel price. Each tier gives you a number of social profiles (a Facebook page, an Instagram account and a LinkedIn page each count as one), a number of people per workspace, and a number of workspaces. A workspace is one client or one brand, with its own accounts and calendar.
The first three plans are built for solo operators and small businesses. Pro50, Pro100 and Pro150 are built for agencies: same features as Pro, more profiles and workspaces.

Prices from socialbee.com/pricing in 2026. Annual billing saves 16%, roughly two months free. AI text generation is unlimited on all six plans. SocialBee doesn't list yearly totals for agency tiers: $149 × 12 = $1,788 for Pro50, so confirm it at checkout.
What each add-on costs
A SocialBee plan is a bundle: a fixed number of profiles, people and workspaces. When you outgrow it, you don't have to upgrade. You buy the missing piece inside the app, monthly or yearly. Here are the three pieces and the point where each one stops making sense.
An extra user: $10 a month
The user quota is counted per workspace: 1 on Bootstrap and Accelerate, 3 on Pro, 5 on agency tiers. Each extra seat is $10 a month or $100 a year. This is the one that catches people out: an owner plus a content writer on Accelerate pay $59 a month, not $49.
An extra workspace: $10 a month
A workspace keeps one client or brand separate, with its own accounts, categories and calendar. Bootstrap and Accelerate include one, Pro includes 5. Each extra workspace is $10 a month or $100 a year. For a freelancer running two small brands, that's usually cheaper than jumping to Pro.
Five more profiles: $15 a month
Profiles come in packs of 5, at $15 a month or $150 a year. A quick bit of math: Bootstrap plus one pack gives you 10 profiles for $440 a year, against $490 for Accelerate. You save $50, but you lose approvals, CSV upload, the bulk editor and two years of analytics.
What costs nothing extra
AI writing is unlimited on every plan, with no credit system. Category-based recycling, SocialBee's main selling point, is included from Bootstrap up. ConciergeBee (people who run your social accounts for you) is sold separately, with no public price list, and the trial doesn't cover it.
- Count the people who will post, not just the social accounts.
- Two or more people on Accelerate? Price out Pro before you pay.
- More than 5 profiles on Bootstrap? A $15 pack beats Accelerate.
- On an annual plan, buy add-ons yearly too: $100 instead of $120.
How we worked out the real cost
Every number comes from SocialBee's pricing page, its help center (refunds, ConciergeBee) and the pricing pages of the alternatives. For each scenario, we take the cheapest plan that covers the accounts and the people, add the add-ons it needs, then compare it with the next plan up. Totals are per year, before tax, on annual and monthly billing.
User reviews (Trustpilot, Capterra, GetApp) helped us spot what costs money after you sign up: renewals and refunds. They never set a price.

Totals are calculated from the official price sheet: the exact amount, tax included, shows on the checkout page.
What you pay over a year, case by case

Billing traps, and how to dodge them
These come from SocialBee's help center and from the complaints that keep showing up in user reviews: an annual renewal that wasn't refunded, a posting queue that stalled, a trial that ended mid-campaign.
The traps
The 30-day guarantee only covers your first payment
Trap #1SocialBee's 30-day money-back guarantee applies to the initial purchase, not to renewals, monthly or yearly. Cancel mid-term and nothing is prorated: the account stays open until the paid period ends. The harshest Trustpilot reviews are almost all about an annual renewal that got charged and then refused for a refund.
The move: pay the first month on monthly billing, judge the tool on your real accounts, then switch to annual. Put the renewal date in your calendar, since several users say they never got a reminder.

One seat on Bootstrap and Accelerate
TeamsThe user quota is counted per workspace, and on the first two plans it's one person. So Accelerate's approval workflow only makes sense with a second seat at $10 a month. Don't share one login to save money: you lose track of who posted what.

Posting stops when the trial ends
TrialThe 14-day trial asks for no card, so nothing gets charged at the end. But scheduled posts stop on day fifteen. Your categories and content are kept if you upgrade. Use the trial to schedule one real week of posts and judge the recycling, but don't rely on it for a launch.

One failed post can stall a whole category
UsageCategory recycling is the reason to buy SocialBee. The flip side, mentioned in several reviews: a post rejected by a network can hold up the rest of the queue without a clear warning. Check each category's queue once a week, especially after Instagram or LinkedIn change their rules.

Stacking add-ons on Pro costs more than Pro50
AgenciesPro gives you 5 workspaces and 25 profiles. For 10 clients and 40 profiles, you'd add 5 workspaces ($500 a year) and 3 profile packs ($450): $1,940 in total. Pro50 is $1,788 a year with 10 workspaces, 50 profiles and 5 people per workspace. Redo this math every time you sign a client.

Six alternatives, one card each
Each card says who the tool is for, what it costs for the same job as SocialBee, and the limit that might send you back. The order follows the most common case on this page: a small US team that finds SocialBee's per-seat add-ons too heavy.
The alternatives
Buffer: pay only for the channels you use
Per channelFor anyone posting to a handful of accounts who wants the simplest tool around. The free plan covers 3 channels and 10 scheduled posts per channel. Essentials is $5 per channel per month: 3 channels cost $15, about half of Bootstrap. Team, at $10 per channel, gives you unlimited members, where SocialBee charges per seat.
The limit: at 10 channels, Essentials costs $50 a month, the price of Accelerate, without category recycling.

Publer: recycling from a free start
Free planFor the solo operator who wants to recycle their best posts without paying $29 a month. The free plan covers 3 accounts, X excluded. Post recycling is part of the product, and for every 9 paid accounts or members, the 10th is free.
The limit: category organization isn't as deep as SocialBee's.

Later: Instagram and TikTok first
VisualFor brands whose work is mostly visual. Starter is $18.75 a month billed yearly, for 8 profiles and one user, so less than Bootstrap. The visual calendar and Instagram grid preview are more polished than SocialBee's.
The limit: 30 posts per profile per month on Starter, and no free plan. For evergreen recycling, SocialBee does better.

Metricool: analytics that go deeper
AnalyticsFor the marketer who wants scheduling and reporting in one place. The free plan handles one brand and 20 posts a month. Starter is $20 a month billed yearly for 5 brands, where SocialBee would need Pro or extra workspaces.
The limit: autolists repost content, but SocialBee's category logic is finer for a library of posts you rotate for months.

Vista Social: an agency tool beyond scheduling
AgenciesFor agencies that want a unified inbox, review management and reports in one place. Professional is $99 a month or $950 a year, for 15 profiles and 2 users. It also has an evergreen queue with a reuse count per post.
The limit: no free plan, and only two users on the first tier. For pure scheduling, SocialBee Pro gives you more profiles for the same money.
- Professional
- $99/month
- Yearly
- $950
Hootsuite: big teams, big invoice
EnterpriseFor companies that need social listening, fine-grained permissions and enterprise support. Standard starts at $99 per user per month, for 10 accounts. Three people cost close to $300 a month, three times SocialBee Pro.
The limit: price. A small business pays for features it won't use.

So, is SocialBee worth the price?
Our take after comparing the price sheet, the refund policy and six alternatives: SocialBee is a good buy as long as you work alone or size your bundle carefully. Our overall score is 3.8 out of 5. The entry price is fair; seats and renewals drag it down.
Yes, for a solo creator who recycles
Bootstrap at $290 a year rotates 10 categories of posts across 5 accounts, with unlimited AI writing. If your strategy relies on content that comes back around, few tools do it as well at this price.
Yes, with some math, for a team of two or three
Accelerate with one or two extra seats runs $590 to $690 a year. Still reasonable, and cheaper than Pro as long as you stay under 10 accounts and one brand.
No, if your team grows fast
Every extra person adds $120 a year on monthly billing. Buffer Team or Publer, which bill per account, come out cheaper for a big team on few accounts. Metricool is the better fit if analytics matter most.
- Start with the 14-day trial, no card needed.
- Pay month one on monthly billing, then go annual.
- Note the renewal date: renewals aren't refunded.
- Count people before you count accounts.
- Enter your company tax details before the first charge.

What people ask us about SocialBee pricing
How much does SocialBee cost per month?
On monthly billing, SocialBee costs $29 on Bootstrap, $49 on Accelerate and $99 on Pro, before tax. Agencies pay $179 (Pro50), $329 (Pro100) or $449 (Pro150). Billed yearly, Bootstrap works out to $24 a month, Accelerate to $40 and Pro to $82. For a team, add $10 a month per person beyond the quota.Does SocialBee have a free plan?
No. SocialBee offers a 14-day trial with no credit card, so there's no automatic charge when it ends. Scheduled posts stop at the end of the trial, but your content and categories stay in the account if you upgrade. If you need a free plan for the long run, Buffer, Publer and Metricool all have one.Can I get a refund from SocialBee?
Yes, within 30 days of your first purchase, by emailing success@socialbee.com from the account's address. The guarantee doesn't cover renewals, monthly or yearly, and canceling mid-term doesn't give you a prorated refund. That's the main reason behind bad reviews: pay the first month on monthly billing if you're unsure. How much is an extra user on SocialBee?
An extra user is $10 a month or $100 a year. The quota is per workspace: 1 person on Bootstrap and Accelerate, 3 on Pro, 5 on agency tiers. Three people on Accelerate come to $690 a year, against $990 for Pro, so Pro only pays off if you also need more accounts or several brands. What's the difference between Bootstrap and Accelerate?
Accelerate doubles your profiles (10 instead of 5) and unlocks volume features: post approval, CSV upload, the bulk editor, the hashtag organizer, 50 categories instead of 10, and two years of analytics instead of three months. If you only need 10 accounts, Bootstrap plus a 5-profile pack is $440 a year, $50 less.Is SocialBee worth it compared with Buffer?
It depends on how many accounts you run. On 3 channels, Buffer Essentials costs $15 a month, about half of Bootstrap. At 10 channels, both land around $50 a month, and SocialBee gives you category recycling and unlimited AI writing for that money. Buffer Team wins for big teams, since it doesn't charge per seat. How much does SocialBee cost for an agency?
Pro, at $990 a year, covers 5 clients with 25 profiles and 3 people per workspace. Beyond that, Pro50 is $179 a month ($149 billed yearly) for 10 workspaces and 50 profiles, Pro100 is $329 ($274) for 20 workspaces, and Pro150 is $449 ($374) for 30. Once you add two workspaces and two profile packs to Pro, Pro50 becomes cheaper. Is AI writing included in SocialBee's price?
Yes. AI text generation is unlimited on all six plans, with no credits to buy. That's a real difference from tools that meter AI with monthly credits. It drafts captions and variations; still have a human read them, because it doesn't know your current prices or offers. Can I change SocialBee plans mid-subscription?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel whenever you want, with no lock-in on monthly billing. To downgrade, first bring your profiles and workspaces under the target plan's quota. On annual billing nothing is prorated, so downgrade at renewal time instead.
