How much does Spocket cost?

The four tiers, the fees the pricing page leaves out, and three monthly bills broken down line by line.

Short answer: Spocket costs $39.99 a month on Starter, the only tier with no annual option. Professional is $59.99 month to month, or $24 a month if you prepay the year ($288). Empire runs $99.99, or $57 a month yearly, and Unicorn $299.99, or $79. A free Basic account lets you browse the catalog, but it is not built for selling.

The subscription is only part of the bill. Spocket takes no cut of your sales, but every supplier order you pay goes through Stripe at 2.9% + $0.30, with extra percentages if your card was issued outside the US. You also pay for your Shopify store. We went through the official pricing page, the help center and the refund terms, then rebuilt the math for three kinds of sellers.

Official pricing

What each Spocket plan costs

Spocket sizes its tiers by how many unique products you can push to your store: 25 on Starter, 250 on Professional, 10,000 on Empire and 25,000 on Unicorn. The product cap is not the whole story, though. Several features are struck through on the lower tiers, and those are usually what forces an upgrade.

The annual discount is steep: roughly 60% on Professional and 43% on Empire. The catch is that annual billing comes with no trial and no refund. Unicorn, the top tier, is $299.99 a month or $79 a month billed yearly ($948), with 25,000 products and bulk checkout.

What you actually get

Which feature lives on which plan?

Spocket's pricing page lists the same rows in every column, then strikes several of them out on the cheaper tiers. It is easy to miss on a phone. Here is what changes from one tier to the next, and the feature most likely to push you up.

Starter: browsing, not selling yet

25 products, chat and email support, zero commission. Premium products, supplier chat, a branded invoice, eBay, Amazon and bulk checkout are all crossed out. Starter is a way to check whether the catalog fits your niche. A real store fills 25 slots in an afternoon.

Professional: your brand on the invoice

250 products including 25 premium ones, a branded invoice in the parcel and direct chat with suppliers. Spocket's help center says this is the tier most sellers pick on monthly billing. It still has no eBay or Amazon, and the unlimited orders row is still struck through.

Empire: more channels

10,000 products, eBay and Amazon, Spocket Academy, and unlimited orders listed for the first time. Spocket's help center says it is the most popular tier on annual billing. At $57 a month yearly, it actually costs less than Professional paid month to month ($59.99).

Unicorn: bulk checkout

25,000 products and the one feature Empire lacks: bulk checkout, which pays a batch of supplier orders in a single pass. At $79 a month yearly, Unicorn only pays off if your order volume makes that time saving real. A small store is fine on Empire.

  • Write down the 3 features you cannot sell without, then find the lowest column that checks all of them
  • Need a branded invoice in the box? That means Professional at minimum
  • Selling on eBay or Amazon? That means Empire at minimum
  • Check the unlimited orders row on spocket.co before you commit to a small tier
Our method

How we priced the real cost

Plan prices come from Spocket's pricing page, its Shopify App Store listing and Shopify's own pricing page. Per-order fees, refund rules and the one-subscription-per-store rule come from Spocket's help center. For each seller profile we add the Spocket tier, Shopify Basic and the processing fees on a set number of orders. Product cost and shipping stay out of the math because they vary by supplier. Seller reviews helped us spot billing traps, never to set a price.

The real cost

What you pay each month, store included

Three seller profiles. The fee math depends on your card. With a US card, a $25 supplier order costs 2.9% × 25 + 0.30 = $1.025 in fees. With a card issued outside the US that also needs currency conversion (a UK, Canadian or European card, for example), Spocket adds 1.5% and 1%: $0.375 and $0.25 more, so $1.65. The headline totals below use the non-US card; the US-card total is in the last line of each card.

US dollars before tax. Products, shipping and import duties not included.

Beginner, paying monthly

Starter + Shopify Basic, 20 orders of $25

≈ $112/mo

39.99 + 39 + 33 = $111.99

  • Subscriptions: $39.99 + $39 = $78.99
  • Fees: 20 × $1.65 = $33
  • First 3 months with Shopify at $1: $73.99
  • With a US card: 20 × $1.025 = $20.50, total $99.49

Lowest monthly cost

Beginner who prepays

Professional + Shopify Basic yearly, 20 orders

≈ $86/mo

24 + 29 + 33 = $86

  • Subscriptions: $24 + $29 = $53
  • Fees: 20 × $1.65 = $33
  • $288 paid upfront to Spocket, no trial, no refund
  • With a US card: $53 + $20.50 = $73.50
See Professional →

Growing store

Empire + Shopify Basic yearly, 150 orders of $20

≈ $293/mo

57 + 29 + 207 = $293

  • Subscriptions: $57 + $29 = $86
  • Fees: 0.58 + 0.30 + 0.30 + 0.20 = $1.38 per order, × 150 = $207
  • Suppliers with US and China warehouses: +$1 per order, so +$150
  • With a US card: 150 × $0.88 = $132, total $218
See Empire →

In the growing store, fees make up $207 of $293: at that volume, the processing fee matters more than which tier you pick.

Billing traps, and how to dodge them

These six points come from the rules Spocket publishes in its help center. They line up with the complaints we read from former customers: charges after cancelling, an annual plan they could not get back, a bill that doubled with a second store.

01

Annual plans have no trial and no refund

Trap #1

The 7-day free trial only covers monthly plans. Annual plans skip it, and Spocket states they are strictly non-refundable once the payment goes through. The $288 for Professional or $684 for Empire is gone the moment you click.

The safer order: one month on monthly billing to check the catalog and your suppliers' shipping times, then switch to yearly. A paid test month costs $59.99 on Professional. A wrong annual pick costs $288.

Cancel 24 hours ahead, and not by uninstalling

Most reported

Your plan renews on its own unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date, and there are no partial refunds after that. The step that catches most sellers: deleting the app from your Shopify store does not always stop billing: you cancel in your Spocket account settings, and Spocket sends a confirmation.

Cancel inside your Spocket account settings, keep the confirmation email, then uninstall. Check your card statement the following month.

0% commission, but 2.9% + $0.30 on every order

Not on the pricing grid

The pricing page shows a 0% transaction fee, and that is accurate: Spocket takes nothing from your sales. But every order you place with a supplier is processed by Stripe, which adds 2.9% + $0.30. PayPal payments also run through Stripe. On top of that: 1.5% for a non-US card, 1% when currency conversion is needed and 0.5% for a manually entered card.

On a $25 order that is about 4.1% with a US card and 6.6% with a foreign card in another currency. Build it into each product's margin, not into an end-of-month surprise.

Some suppliers cost 5% more, and duties are extra

Check per product

For suppliers that run warehouses in the US and China, Spocket charges an extra 5% transaction fee. On a $20 order, that is another dollar. The help center also notes that supplier prices do not include customs duty or taxes.

Look at where a product ships from before you import it. A parcel crossing a border can trigger fees at delivery, and your customer is the one who finds out.

A second store means a second subscription

Double the bill

Spocket requires a separate subscription for every connected store. Two stores on Professional yearly is 2 × $24 = $48 a month; on monthly billing it is 2 × $59.99 = $119.98. Each store also needs its own Shopify plan.

Testing a new niche? Add a dedicated collection to your current store instead of opening a second one. You keep a single subscription.

06

Unlimited orders are only listed from Empire up

Double-check

On Spocket's pricing page, the unlimited orders row is struck through for Starter and Professional and checked from Empire up. Spocket's Shopify App Store listing words it differently, so the two sources do not match.

If you expect a lot of orders on a small tier, ask support before you prepay the year and keep the answer in writing. That one row can turn a $24 plan into a $57 one.

Entry prices across the alternatives

Here is the first useful plan, free or paid, for each tool. Spocket is not the cheapest, but these tools do not sell the same thing. DSers and CJdropshipping mostly connect you to suppliers in China; Spocket's pitch is suppliers that ship from the US and Europe. The right pick depends on where your customers live.

DSers: the free starting point for AliExpress

Free

Built for new sellers sourcing from AliExpress who want fixed costs at zero. The Basic plan is free and covers 3 stores and 3,000 products, already more than Spocket Professional. Advanced is $19.90 a month, Pro $49.90, and yearly billing takes 20% off.

The limit: you buy from AliExpress sellers, not from a vetted catalog of US and EU suppliers. If fast delivery is your selling point, DSers alone will not fix it.

The limit: add-ons stack up. Auto ordering is $9.90 more per month, and the virtual assistant and product hub are sold separately at $14.97 each. Add up everything you need before you compare it with Spocket.

The verdict

So, is Spocket worth the money?

Our take after comparing the pricing grid, the help center and five alternatives: Spocket is fair on Professional billed yearly, pricey on monthly Starter, and its per-order fees quickly outweigh the subscription. Our overall score stays at 3 out of 5, pulled down by billing.

Yes, if fast shipping is what sells

You sell in the US or Europe, your customers will not wait three weeks, and you have checked the catalog for a month on monthly billing. Professional at $24 a month with your own branded invoice is then a fair price for what Spocket brings.

No, if you just want to start for free

Starter is $39.99 a month for 25 products. DSers, Zendrop and CJdropshipping let you open a store with no subscription. Start there, and move to Spocket the day delivery times become your problem.

Watch out as volume grows

At 150 orders a month, processing fees outweigh both subscriptions combined. Work your margins product by product, avoid suppliers hit by the extra 5% when you can, and check your card statement after every renewal.

  • Start monthly, move to yearly after one month
  • Add about 4% per order with a US card, 6 to 7% with a foreign one
  • Write down your renewal date and cancel 24 hours before
  • Cancel inside Spocket before uninstalling the app
  • One more store means one more subscription
Pricing FAQ

Spocket pricing questions we get asked

  • Is Spocket free?
Not for selling. Spocket has a free Basic account to explore the catalog, then a 7-day trial on monthly plans. The cheapest paid tier, Starter, is $39.99 a month. Premium products are not available on the free account. If you want a store that runs with no subscription, DSers and CJdropshipping both have a real $0 plan.
  • How long is the Spocket free trial?
7 days, on monthly plans only. Cancelling within those 7 days costs nothing. Annual plans have no trial at all. Put the end date in your calendar the day you sign up: once it passes, the first month is charged and will not be refunded.
  • Can I get a refund from Spocket?
In practice, no. Spocket's terms rule out any refund, partial or prorated, for unused time or a mid-cycle cancellation. Annual plans are non-refundable once the payment is processed. The only way to pay nothing is to cancel during the 7-day trial.
  • How do I cancel Spocket without getting charged?
Cancel in your Spocket account settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Removing the app from Shopify is not always enough: you cancel in your Spocket account settings, and Spocket sends a confirmation. Keep the confirmation email and check your statement the next month.
  • Does Spocket take a cut of my sales?
No, Spocket lists a 0% transaction fee on every plan. But each supplier order paid by card or PayPal goes through Stripe, which takes 2.9% + $0.30. With a US card, that is $1.025 on a $25 order. With a foreign card that needs conversion, add 1.5% and 1%, for $1.65.
  • Do I need to pay for Shopify on top of Spocket?
Yes. Spocket plugs into your store, it does not replace it. Shopify Basic is $39 a month, or $29 a month billed yearly, with a 3-day trial and then $1 a month for 3 months. A beginner on monthly billing is already at $78.99 a month for both before a single order.
  • Which Spocket plan should a beginner pick?
Starter on monthly billing during the trial, to judge the catalog. If you stay, Professional billed yearly works out to $24 a month, less than Starter, with 250 products and a branded invoice. Only aim for Empire if you sell on eBay or Amazon, or want the unlimited orders listed on the pricing page.
  • Is there a Spocket discount code?
The discount Spocket advertises on its own pricing page is annual billing, which it markets as 8 months free. In dollars, that saves $431.88 a year on Professional and $515.88 on Empire. Coupon sites promising more are not the official source: the price that counts is the one on your checkout screen.
  • Spocket or DSers: which costs less?
DSers, easily: its Basic plan is free for 3 stores and 3,000 products, and Advanced is $19.90 a month. Spocket is at least $24 a month billed yearly. They do not sell the same thing, though: DSers works through AliExpress, while Spocket focuses on suppliers that ship from the US and Europe.
