Hyros alternatives: where to go and how to leave without losing data

Nine destinations, one per use case, and a seven-step exit plan.

The short answer: Wicked Reports if you sell courses or subscriptions with long sales cycles, SegMetrics if you want a tool built for course funnels with no long-term contract, Cometly if your sales close on a call and Meta is your main channel, Ruler Analytics if leads come in through forms and phone calls, Northbeam or Triple Whale if you sell on Shopify. RedTrack fits affiliates, wetracked.io only fixes your pixels, and SegmentStream is for larger teams that want their data hosted in the EU. Before you pick, pull out your order form: you must cancel at least 30 days before your term ends, and after you leave you get a single 30-day window to retrieve your data. We compared these nine tools and read Hyros's terms in 2026.

Our ranking is editorial: a sponsored spot is always labeled on its card, and no affiliate link changes a score.

The real reasons

Why people leave Hyros, and why it's tricky

Hyros has plenty of happy customers. Its public rating is high, and many reviewers call it one of their best business investments. People rarely leave because of the tracking itself. They leave because of the bill, the contract and the exit. Six reasons keep coming up, each checked against Hyros's own terms or user reviews in 2026.

You only learn the price on a sales call

Hyros's pricing page says "One plan. Everything included." with no number. You book a call, and the price is sized to the revenue Hyros tracks for you. Hyros says plans start at $230/month on annual billing, for up to $20K in tracked monthly revenue. Above that, the price grows with your sales. On Reddit, some users say nobody mentioned those thresholds upfront.

Auto-renewal, with a price that can change

Your contract term is whatever your order form says. When it ends, it renews automatically for the same length. The terms also let Hyros change pricing at the start of each new term. On an annual term, one missed date locks you in for another year.

A 30-day notice period most people find out about too late

To stop the renewal, you have to cancel at least 30 days before the current term expires, from your account or by emailing support. The one-star reviews sound alike: "impossible to cancel", "outside the cancellation window". The rule isn't hidden. It's in the terms, and you need to read them before the date.

A refund window that starts with your first payment

Refund requests must be made in writing within 90 days of the first charge. For any specific charge, the window is 3 days. Setup takes time (site scripts, CRM connection, onboarding call), and several customers say they installed too late to still ask for a refund.

Data some customers stopped trusting

Negative reviews describe a tool that worked well at first, then started over-reporting leads, or dashboards they called "glitchy". Other users defend its accuracy just as strongly. The takeaway: if you doubt your numbers, reconcile them against real sales in Stripe, Shopify or your CRM before you decide anything.

Not built for small ad budgets

Hyros says it itself: it's not ideal for businesses spending under $5,000/month on ads. Its stated audience is info products, coaching, call funnels and media buyers spending $10K+ a month. If your budget is smaller, you're paying for more machine than you need, and tools at $49 or $57 a month cover the basics.

The 9 alternatives

Hyros alternatives, tool by tool

For each tool: why move to it, who it's for, its catch, how to get there from Hyros, and what it costs. Prices are what vendors list in 2026. Scores out of 5 come straight from our marketing attribution software ranking.

01

Wicked Reports: the closest match for long sales cycles

Courses and subscriptions, 4.1/5

Why switch to Wicked Reports. Course creators like Hyros because it connects a sale to an ad someone saw weeks earlier. Wicked Reports does the same job and publishes its prices. It ties each sale to the customer's full lifetime, which matters when a buyer grabs a low-ticket offer first and a high-ticket program three months later. You can switch between first click, last click, linear and U-shaped (40% first touch, 40% last, 20% in between) models.

Who it's for. Course creators, coaches and subscription brands with real ad spend and repeat purchases.

Who it's not for. Small budgets: the entry plan costs about twice Hyros's advertised starting price.

The catch. Your tier is set by gross revenue over the last 12 months and moves at your next renewal. The Meta conversion add-on (Advanced Signal) costs $199/mo extra on the first two plans. No free trial is listed.

Moving over from Hyros. Connect your payment processor and CRM, then let Wicked Reports rebuild customer history. Keep your Hyros Lead Journey Report CSV handy so you can check both tools see the same customers during the overlap.

Pricing. Measure $499/mo ($0 to $2.5M annual revenue), Scale $699, Maximize $999, Enterprise from $4,999. Add-ons $199/mo each on Measure and Scale, included above.

02

SegMetrics: funnel attribution for course sellers, no long contract

Lowest commitment

Why switch to SegMetrics. SegMetrics was built for info-product funnels: email, webinars, sales pages. Pricing is public, based on active contacts rather than revenue, and the vendor says there are no long-term contracts. For anyone leaving Hyros over the contract, that's the exact opposite.

Who it's for. Course and coaching businesses that want to know which campaign and which email drive sales, on a controlled budget.

Who it's not for. Teams that need to send conversions back to ad platforms or track phone calls: neither is advertised. It does offer several attribution models to switch between, lifetime value attribution, and a pixel hosted on your own domain (Scale plan) to get past ad blockers.

The catch. Price climbs with active contacts, so a big email list raises the bill even if sales are flat. Above $10M annual revenue, it's custom pricing.

Moving over from Hyros. Use the 14-day trial to connect your stack (100+ integrations listed) while Hyros is still running. If the numbers don't hold up, there's a 30-day refund.

Pricing. Launch $57/mo, Grow $197, Scale $397, Enterprise custom. Two months free on annual billing.

Cometly: for call funnels and Meta-heavy ad spend

Call funnels, 3.8/5

Why switch to Cometly. Several recent Trustpilot reviews say they picked it after leaving Hyros. It tracks conversions server-side and sends them back to ad platforms, which helps Meta optimize when the browser pixel misses sales.

Who it's for. Mid-size Meta and Google advertisers, high-ticket call funnels, and B2B companies that sell through booked meetings.

Who it's not for. Anyone who wants a listed price before talking to sales.

The catch. No public pricing: it's based on pageviews. No free trial either, since the vendor says attribution needs your CRM and ad accounts connected to be useful. Some users find it cluttered with options and report tracking breaking after page edits.

Moving over from Hyros. Ask for a demo with your real pageview volume, and get the commitment length in writing. Connect your CRM and ad platforms (70+ integrations) before you switch off Hyros's conversion sync, so Meta never gets the same sale twice.

Pricing. Core and Enterprise, custom pricing based on pageviews. 20% off annual.

04

Ruler Analytics: when sales start with a form or a phone call

Leads and calls, 4.0/5

Why switch to Ruler Analytics. Hyros tracks calls by layering on top of CallRail. Ruler Analytics tracks calls and forms itself, then ties each lead back to its ad all the way to closed revenue in your CRM.

Who it's for. B2B and service businesses that sell after a call or a quote.

Who it's not for. Pure ecommerce, where the cart is paid online with no sales conversation.

The catch. The entry plan caps at 10K monthly visitors, and data-driven attribution only starts on the next tier. Prices are listed as indicative.

Moving over from Hyros. Install Ruler's script and call tracking numbers, then connect your CRM to pull revenue. If you ran CallRail with Hyros, decide early which one owns dynamic numbers: two systems swapping numbers on the same page will clash.

Pricing. Small $400/mo (up to 10K visitors). 10% off annual.

Northbeam: for ecommerce brands with large budgets

Large budgets, 4.2/5

Why switch to Northbeam. If you sell on Shopify and spend heavily on ads, Northbeam is the top-scored tool in our ranking. Its entry plan is month to month with no annual term, a sharp contrast with a term fixed by an order form.

Who it's for. Ecommerce brands spending tens of thousands of dollars a month on ads.

Who it's not for. Course sellers and call funnels: Starter is Shopify only, and the product is built for ecommerce.

The catch. The entry price is high, and Professional, which opens other platforms, requires an annual contract. The exact price is set after a demo.

Moving over from Hyros. Start on Starter, month to month, and compare its numbers to Hyros over a full cycle. Move to Professional (annual) only once the data checks out.

Pricing. Starter from $1,500/mo (under $1.5M annual ad spend, month to month, Shopify only), Professional from $3,500/mo (annual contract), Growth and Enterprise custom.

Triple Whale: a Shopify dashboard with attribution built in

Shopify, 3.6/5

Why switch to Triple Whale. Triple Whale puts your Shopify store metrics and campaign attribution in one place. If you mainly used Hyros to know which ad sells which product, it's a more store-focused replacement.

Who it's for. Small and mid-size Shopify brands that want a full dashboard more than a pure attribution tool.

Who it's not for. Course funnels, call-based sales and B2B.

The catch. Pricing wasn't readable on the vendor's own site when we compared, so ask for a quote at your order volume. Some reviewers find it overpriced for what it does.

Moving over from Hyros. Install the app from Shopify, then compare its attributed sales with Hyros during the overlap. Keep your Hyros export: Triple Whale won't import it.

RedTrack: for affiliates and lead generation

Affiliates

Why switch to RedTrack. RedTrack comes from affiliate marketing. If you buy traffic for offers or generate leads for others, it tracks clicks and conversions with listed prices and a trial. It also has an ecommerce line, including a free plan for one store.

Who it's for. Affiliates, lead gen agencies, and small stores that want to start free.

Who it's not for. Course sellers who need customer value across months: that's not what it's built around.

The catch. Affiliate plans count events (5M on Solo), so heavy traffic pushes you up a tier. The free ecommerce plan is limited to one store and one user.

Moving over from Hyros. Use the 14-day trial to rebuild your main campaigns, then compare conversions against Hyros on the same days before switching off.

Pricing. Affiliates: Solo $169/mo ($118 annual), Team $399, Enterprise $999. Ecommerce: Relay free, Brand $99/mo ($69 annual), Agency $599.

wetracked.io: reliable pixels, no attribution modeling

Small budgets

Why switch to wetracked.io. Be clear about what you're buying: wetracked.io isn't an attribution tool like Hyros. It's server-side tracking. It captures your orders and sends them straight to ad platforms (Meta, TikTok, X, Pinterest, Snapchat, Google Ads), without any model splitting credit between campaigns. If what you really wanted from Hyros was for Meta to finally see every sale, this is the cheapest way out.

Who it's for. Shopify and WooCommerce stores on small ad budgets that want accurate pixels.

Who it's not for. Anyone who needs to know which campaign really drove a sale on a long journey: you need an actual attribution tool.

The catch. No attribution models, and price scales with orders (500 on Starter).

Moving over from Hyros. Install it during the trial, then turn off Hyros's conversion sync the same day you turn on wetracked.io's, so Meta doesn't count each sale twice.

Pricing. Starter $49/mo ($39.20 annual, 500 orders), Business $149, Scale-up $249, Enterprise custom. 14-day trial.

SegmentStream: for larger teams that need EU data hosting

EU data

Why switch to SegmentStream. SegmentStream measures what your campaigns actually add to sales (incrementality), offers predictive attribution and server-side tracking. It also lets you choose US or EU data residency and provides a GDPR DPA, something we found no equivalent of for Hyros.

Who it's for. Mid-market and enterprise companies with a marketing team and GDPR requirements.

Who it's not for. Solo founders and small teams: it's sold project by project, after a call.

The catch. No public pricing. You need a call to get a quote.

Moving over from Hyros. Ask upfront how your history can be brought over, and plan an overlap at least as long as your sales cycle.

Pricing. Priced per project, after a call.

The comparison

The 9 alternatives side by side

Our default picks: Wicked Reports if you sell courses or subscriptions, Cometly if sales close on calls, Northbeam if you sell on Shopify with a big budget. For scale, Hyros starts at $230/month on annual billing for up to $20K in tracked monthly revenue, according to the vendor. At that level, SegMetrics ($57) and wetracked.io ($49) cost less, and Wicked Reports ($499) costs more but shows its price. One row per tool: who it's for on the left, entry price and commitment on the right.

Exit plan

Leaving Hyros in seven steps

Order matters. A botched exit costs you another term of fees, or weeks of campaigns run without numbers. Each step protects something: your budget, your history, the quality of what you send to ad platforms.

01

Read your order form and find your real deadline

First

Find your order form. It sets your term length, not a number you read on a blog. Write down the end date of your term, then subtract 30 days: that's your deadline to cancel without renewing. Set a reminder two weeks before.

Also check where you stand on refunds: requests must be made in writing within 90 days of your first charge. If you're still inside that window and the tool isn't working for you, ask now.

Time
30 minutes
If you skip it
another full term
02

Export everything while you still have full access

Week 1

Hyros lets you export the full Lead Journey Report as a CSV. Do it across your whole history. Add screenshots of the reports you check every week: cost per sale, ROAS by campaign, sources of your best customers.

Why now? After cancellation, you only get limited one-time access for 30 days to retrieve your data, "if technically feasible" per the terms. After 180 days, it's deleted.

Format

If you skip it

03

List everything that sends data to Hyros

Week 1

Write down every connection: page scripts, your payment processor (Stripe, Shopify, WooCommerce), your CRM, call tracking (CallRail), conversion syncs to Meta, Google, YouTube or TikTok, and automations. If you push data to Hyros through Zapier or Make, list each scenario.

That list is your checklist. Every line needs a match in the new tool before you switch anything off.

Time

If you skip it

04

Install the new tool alongside Hyros

Weeks 2 and 3

Don't remove anything. Install the new tool in parallel: its script, payment and CRM connections. Use trials where they exist (14 days at SegMetrics, RedTrack and wetracked.io) or Northbeam's month-to-month plan.

One exception: conversion sync to ad platforms. Don't turn it on in the new tool while Hyros still does it, or Meta gets each sale twice and optimizes on bad data.

Time

If you skip it

05

Run both tools at the same time

One sales cycle

Let both tools measure the same campaigns for at least one full sales cycle. For a course funnel with a sales call, that's the average time from first click to payment. Then compare three things: number of sales, revenue, and your top three campaigns.

The numbers won't match exactly, because the tools split credit differently. What matters is that totals line up with real sales and that your campaign ranking stays consistent.

06

Switch conversion syncs and automations

Switch day

On the same day, turn off Hyros's conversion sync to ad platforms and turn on the new tool's. Then repoint your Zapier or Make automations. The next day, check Meta Events Manager to confirm sales arrive, once each.

Exit pitfalls

What makes a Hyros exit go wrong

The same mistakes show up again and again in former customers' reviews. None of them is technical. They're missed dates and skipped steps, and each one costs more than the time it would have taken to avoid it.

Cancelling too late

The contract renews for the same length unless you cancel at least 30 days before it ends. On an annual term, one week late costs you a year. Put the date in your calendar today.

Cancelling before exporting

After cancellation, you get one 30-day access window, and data is deleted at 180 days. Export your Lead Journey Report as a CSV before you hit cancel.

Switching off Hyros with no overlap

You lose your baseline. If the new tool shows a very different ROAS, you won't know which one to believe. Run both for at least one sales cycle.

Sending every sale to ad platforms twice

Two tools pushing the same conversions to Meta skew its optimization. Only one tool should sync conversions at a time, so switch on the same day.

Choosing without knowing the final bill

Hyros, Wicked Reports and SegMetrics all scale with revenue or contacts. Price the tier you'll be on a year from now, not today's, and get the commitment length in writing.

Forgetting hidden connections

A Zapier zap, a CallRail number, a script on an old sales page: anything you didn't list doesn't get migrated. For the first month, compare tracked sales to your payment processor every week.

FAQ · 10 questions

Hyros alternatives: frequently asked questions

  • What is the best Hyros alternative?

For course and coaching businesses, Wicked Reports is the closest: same lifetime-value logic, with public pricing from $499/mo. On a tight budget, SegMetrics starts at $57/mo with no long-term contract. Our marketing attribution software ranking also covers free options.

  • How much does Hyros cost?

Hyros doesn't publish a price grid. You get a quote on a call, based on monthly tracked revenue. The vendor says plans start at $230/month billed annually, for up to $20K in tracked monthly revenue. Ask for the next tier's price on that call: it's what you'll pay once sales grow.

  • How do I cancel Hyros?

From your account or by emailing support, at least 30 days before your current term ends. Otherwise the contract renews for the same length. Your exact term is on your order form, and that document is what counts.

  • Can I get a refund from Hyros?

Yes, if you request it in writing within 90 days of your first charge. For a specific charge, the window is only 3 days. Tip: install in week one so you can judge the data while the window is still open.

  • What happens to my data after I cancel Hyros?

You get limited one-time access for 30 days to retrieve it, if technically feasible per Hyros's terms. Data is then kept for 180 days and deleted. Export the Lead Journey Report as a CSV before cancelling.

  • Is Hyros GDPR compliant, and does it host data in the EU?

We found no public information from Hyros on EU data hosting or a GDPR data processing agreement. If that's a requirement, SegmentStream offers EU data residency and a GDPR DPA. Ask for the document in writing before you sign.

  • Hyros vs Triple Whale: which one should I pick?

Hyros targets info products, coaching and call funnels. Triple Whale targets Shopify brands, with a store dashboard on top of attribution. If you sell a program after a sales call, Triple Whale isn't built for you. If you sell physical products on Shopify, it's the better fit.

  • Which Hyros alternative tracks phone calls?

Ruler Analytics tracks calls and forms itself and ties each lead to its ad all the way to CRM revenue. Hyros layers on top of CallRail. If you keep CallRail, check that your new tool can read it before you commit.

  • Is there a Hyros alternative without a contract?

Yes. SegMetrics says it has no long-term contracts and offers a 30-day refund; RedTrack and wetracked.io have 14-day trials; Northbeam's Starter plan is month to month. Always get the term in writing before you pay.

  • Is Hyros worth it on a small budget?

Rarely. Hyros itself says it's not ideal under $5,000/month in ad spend. Below that, wetracked.io ($49/mo) fixes your pixels and SegMetrics ($57/mo) ties sales to campaigns.
